After sending out these tracks last summer and getting great reactions from DJs and dancers alike, Hell Yeah is pleased to finally officially release virtuoso musician Verdo's Little Blue EP, complete with a remix from Lauer. Fully remastered for vinyl, the likes of Lexx, Chris Coco, Soft Rocks, Leo Mas and many more have all be playing these tunes with great results.

The talented Verdo runs the famous Gratis Club in Senigallia on the Italian east coast. It is a place he calls home, and that has really allowed him to hone and sharpen his DJ skills so that now he is a slick, unpredictable and singular DJ with many tricks up his sleeve. Bjorn Torske, DJ Fettburger, Prins Thomas, Kenji Takimi, Glenn Underground and more have all played there in the last decade and Verdo himself is a skilled pianist who has played for Zero7 singer Mozez in the past. He has worked with Hell Yeah before now, as well as releasing on Danny Was A Drag King, and here serves up his biggest bit of dance floor dynamite to date, including his previously digital only cut 'Big Fish' (mixed by DJ Rocca).

Opener 'Little Blue' is a perfectly sunny track with hip swinging claps, bobbling bass and boat party vibes that soothe your soul. Rich with instrumentals and golden synth lines, it's a perfect beat that gets followed up by the retro disco pump of 'Sazerac', another tropical cut with loose drums and rubbery bass to get you up on your toes.

The massive 'Big Fish' then hits hard with its tin pot percussion and wild synths all making you flail your arms like you just don't care. Jumbled jungle vibes and big chords all swell your heart as your feet skip about down low.

Closing out the package is Phillip Lauer (Tuff City Kids), one of the most in demand stars of the day, and his version is a direct house jam with percolating and rugged synths and slapping hits, all demanding you ditch your cocktail and get up and groove.

Dark Entries present all four mixes of 'Transdance' by Night Moves as a tribute dedicated to the lives lost in the Oakland Ghost Ship fire on December 2, 2016. Holding On is the first release for North London producer Smashed Atoms on his own Magic Circles Music label, and follows up his recent appeearance on the Juno #1 album Trash The Wax 3 on Paper Disco. The title track features an insistent house piano, fizzing synths and the voice of Chicago house legend Robert Owens interlocking over a rolling, percussive groove. On the flip side, The People Come Together mixes up a slo-mo shuffle with a hint of Loaded-era Primal Scream, while Wonderlust immerses the listener in a nice warm disco bath.

In the lead-up to the release of 'Motion Sickness' on December 3rd, Domino will put out a three-part 12' vinyl series with each record featuring two highlights from the remix compilation. These releases will be staggered throughout November in December, the first of which is to be released on November 19th. Full details can be found below.
Bringing together some of the most respected names in dance music with the key players in the Domino roster; the compilation celebrates dance and electronic music. In this series these incredible interpretations will only be available in the format classically associated with the genre: vinyl.

he latest installment of Roam Recordings comes from the Japanese disco scene via the production duo of internationally acclaimed DJ Que Sakamoto and seasoned studio engineer NT. The title track 'Lalo' is an original production with a stylish edit of an obscure vocal. This slow paced groove has a lot to offer with its bells chiming, synths drifting, and peppered in vocal that brings it all together.The first remix comes from JP & Vulinej the partnership between JP Soul (boss of Roam Recordings) and Jeniluv (a prominent figure in the L.A. dance scene and partner in Roam Recordings). Having heard Que Sakamoto+NT's excellent single, Vulinej fell for the song and brought it to JP Soul at Roam Studios. Together they came up with a filthier heavy hitting acid bender.The second remix comes from Magic Touch who has made a name for himself for his critically acclaimed releases on 100% Silk and Tensnake's label True Romance as well as his performances at places such as Sonar, Unsound, and the legendary Panorama Bar. Produced by the legendary Patrick Adams, the studio-bound disco unit Cloud One made its debut in 1976 with the spectacular Atmosphere Strut and throughout the seventies, became the centerpiece for Queen Constance, Golden Flamingo, Heavenly Star, and Sound of New York, all labels ran by Peter Brown &
Patricia Gilyard. At a time when most music was recorded with a full army of studio musicians, Cloud One records were mostly played, arranged and mixed in their entirety by Patrick Adams himself!!! The ability to "work on his own" allowed the music to feel more experimental than the work he did on major labels at
the time. Released in 1977 Disco Juice is probably P&P's best-known cut and for good reason. All the elements are there, a catchy melody reinforced by Venus Dodson's vocals, a driving bass line, an accentuated piano and of course the signature Patrick Adams Synth Strings unifying the whole composition
and creating a delirious and hypnotic effect. It's no surprise this Record has been a point of reference to many house music producers, and sampled famously by artists like Norman Cook and Paul Johnson. From the Streets of Harlem to the beaches of Ibiza, 38 years later this juice keeps aging like a fine wine.

"Party Hard Ton" will be released on Austrian label Luv Shack Records, and is about
the uniting aspects of electronic music and the celebration of the concept of partying. The styles featured on the album are as diverse as the artist involved; ranging from dark acid tunes like "Queer Nation", "Never Give up" and "Stumbling ft. Jonny Woo' to playful pop tunes "Right Now ft. Spiller' and "Cold Sweat ft. Space Echo'. "Yeah Yeah ft. Moralez & Sames', "Can You Feel The Love" and "The Way You Rock ft. Mirror People" channel early 80's Chicago house, whilst "Shine By Night ft. Snuff Crew', "Style Ga-Galore ft. ROTCIV' and "Party Hard Ton" have a more jackin' 90's vibe. "Happy House" is Hard Ton`s most modern outing and the blissfully reduced "Be My Spell ft. Adriano Canzian", a twisted ballad, is perhaps the most intimate track on the release.

Hard Ton appeared on the scene in 2009 and have since released music on labels like Dissident, Compost, Permanent Vacation, Gigolo, Internasjonal, Bordello A Parigi and many more. Their playful excursions into acid and classic vocal house have found them plenty of followers and friends, many of whom are now united on "Party Hard Ton".

Royal Athlete returns with yet another collection of loco party weapons, inspired by the Hot Pony club in Berlin curated by Vexkiddy and Antoni Maiovvi. First up is Hot Pony regular Baxa, The Korean Disco King, offering up a cut of dubbed out funk gold with 'I'm Not Kool'. Next up the man, myth and legend that is Fiero, channels the spirit of 'Soccio' for a strong Eurocrime groove with his track 'Standard Hotel'. On the flip we open up with berlin newcomer Don Chrelli who's track 'Tonight' plays with smooth electro-boogie, spaced out FX and a killer vocoder hook. Finally finishing of this wonderus EP is Heartbeat Stars with 'Obsession'. Produced by everyone's favourite feline Lazercat, this spaceage freestyle slayer is heavy on melody, funk and emotion. All tracks mastered with love by Manmade Mastering Berlin.

The eight tracks on 'Versus' exemplify a remarkable cross-pollination of genres, a true testament to the intense, 'it takes a village' spirit of collaboration among the artists in the Wolf & Lamb aquarium.

The LP kicks off with "Real Love," an electronic duet with San Francisco's PillowTalk. A sparse, airy kick and lackadaisical, scale-climbing bass line complement a vocoder-drenched croon, evoking nothing less than an R&B version of Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works. In the album's next track, "Fo Porter," butter soft vocals from Voices of Black ("I want it/I need it/I just can't get enough/I hold it/I squeeze it/I just won't give it up") complement lush orchestral arrangements, doing for hip-hop inflected dance music what Metro Area does for disco.

"In The Morning," an after the after party, hands to the air entry into the house of god, will instantly conjure up for those lucky enough to have visited the Marcy the familiar image of Gadi's hands feeling up the wall in ecstasy while Zev soldiers through the groove. "Weekend Affair," perhaps the real standout of an all-round exemplary album, punctuates stuttering, oscillating synths with a ferocious cowbell and moaned vocals, continuing a long-standing New York tradition of sexualized Downtown funk.

The gorgeous "Serpentine," with it's kettle-drum compression worthy of Phil Collins's "In the Air Tonight" and atmospheric vocals from French chanteuse Rap Lisa, is rounded out by the it's a perfect ending to the album, a moment of calm before the sharks, always on the move, start circling again.
