Analogue Attic Recording's fifth release is a live recording from Melbourne talent Sleep D, recorded under gumtrees at Melbourne's iconic Fairfield Amphitheatre.
Here we see the ambient side of Maryos Syawish, Corey Kikos and guitarist Joe Karakatsanis.The 40 minute album features beautiful, slowly unfurling pieces that caters to the label's gentle aesthetic.

The indigenous cause is an urgent one not only in terms of territory but also when it comes to the preservation of the vast Indian culture and Brazilian singer-songwriter Marlui Miranda has been dedicating herself for almost four decades to keep their music alive (she has a doctorate on Indian music, so you know).

In 1995, Marlui released the album 'Ihu: Todos os Sons', a collection of Indian chants she gathered in her field researches and released only in CD through two small labels (one in the US, the other in Brazil). This research started in 1986, funded by the John Simmon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and it investigated the sounds of different tribes in the Rondônia state, northern Brazil, namely the Suruí, the Makuarap, the Aruá, the Tupari and the Jaboti tribes - the latter being the one identified with the 'Tchori Tchori' chant, which praises a bird called biguá.

The haunting, beautiful melody of 'Tchori Tchori' couldn't get a better companion than the exquisite musical palette of Uakti, one of Brazil's greatest instrumental groups, known for creating their own instruments (you've heard them before in Selva Discos alongside Maria Rita). That's what the listener gets on the A side of this release - the deep sound frequencies of a 45RPM cut, fully remastered, of a song never put on a vinyl record before. On the B side, Brazilian DJ and producer Joutro Mundo (Jonas Rocha's alias), who's also involved in the indigenous cause for a long time, takes us on a journey reworking Marlui's groove with subtlety, extending the chant and adding just the right elements to make it work not only in the dancefloor but also on home/office environments for pure listening pleasure.

'Tchori Tchori' marks the first volume of the BRASINGLES series, a new series on Selva Discos dedicated to releasing loud 12' singles with the original song on the A side and a rework on the B side, to please both the DJ and the listener.

Mangled Records twentieth release also marks 20 years since it's first release. To celebrate the occasion here are two of Ray Mang's better known and loved tracks together on one 180gram Mangled 12" for you! Number One first surfaced on his solo debut '96 Noid release. It gained widespread support in the clubs and went on to be featured on both DFP's De-Luxe House Of
Funk and Groove Armada's Back To Mine compilations as well as his own Mangled LP. Look Into My Eyes is a blissed out Balearic gem that featured on the B side of Ray's
'10 DFA release and instantly became a firm favourite for many.

It can be said that a classic is timeless and Quantize Recordings is elated to release this one in tribute to the legendary Teena Marie.

The tune has remained a staple in dance music from jukeboxes to dancefloors the world over. BEPPE LODA is back with OBSCURE ITALIAN SPACE PROG. This is the 2nd release on GAIL FORCE DISCO RECORDS which explores rare tracks that blur the line between disco and prog rock from 70's and 80's Italy.

Nirosta Steel is a sometime alias of Steven Hall. Musician and survivor of the `80s NYC`s art melting pot. Everybody Sing dances like Steven`s long-term collaborator and lost-way-too-early friend, Arthur Russell. As he forced irresistible, idiosyncratic, Disco-Not-Disco, out of the Ingram Brothers. Riding low rumbling bass. Phased guitar, country picking, flickering in and out of the mix. Strings, choir boy falsetto, and blue yodel, cutting through its delay-drenched, dance floor delirium.

L.A.`s Cole Medina delivers two reworks. His Heavy Disco take is intro`d by cowbell and synth swirls. Cymbals crashing like sampled surf. With Stratocaster microtones, and echoes of the original, washing over an electronically, re-imagined B-line and trip-py sequences.

Cole`s Knuckles Tribute sets poignant piano and gated orchestral euphoria against a classic Def Mix groove. Revealing the song in epiphany. Clarifying the lyric`s call for unity. Where singing your troubles away is a analogy for strength in adversity. Everybody hurts sometimes. In that, we are united. Eventually heading towards its own disorientating climax. Comin` at ya from all sides.

Mind Fair`s version goes in for some tribal thumping. Stripping the track down, before building it back up. Its big kick blowing bins like a hyped heart pumping within a giant's chest. Chicken scratches dropping in between its colossal 'lub dub', and Coati Mundi-meets-Jah Wobble-like Punk Funk..

Faze Action return with a brand new 12", teaming up with Zimbabwean born Zeke Manyika to create "Mangwana". Sung in Zeke's native Shona, and taking influences from Mory Kante, South African Kwaito to early house, Faze Action manage to create a record that harks back yet still has a modern and contemporary feel and is set to be the soundtrack to countless festivals and outdoor parties this summer.

The title track is followed by the stunning "Chiiko", featuring Zeke's vocals enriched by Rob's 'cello's with African rhythms floating you away to another tropical world. A Vision of Panorama turns up the dial with a stunning mix on the flip side. A new bass line adds to some quality keyboard work. Finally the brothers deliver are more stripped out dub "Paradise '89 Mix" tailored for the peak time.

thatmanmonkz graces Classic with his psychedelically grooving 'Ooh Wee' on 12', this time enlisting SoulPhiction and Norm Talley on remixing duties. Remaining true to his Detroit house and 90s boom bap influences, the title track holds a soft analogue crackle and bass loops tied together with delicate keys and soul vocals by Nikki-O. SoulPhiction's Nervös Mix is a production in two parts, leading with synth lines on deep and intense keys then ascending into disco glory. Detroit DJ Norm Talley takes a classic house approach with piano riffs and sharp hi-hats, adding another edge of genuine old skool sound to this release.

The long musical tradition of electro-disco, Italo style, foregrounds Innervisions' newest release. Bringing together five producers for a celebration of their cosmic past and future-forward present, Romantico Disco EP is a resolutely Italian affair.

As a three-decade stalwart of the music scene in his native Sicily, Mauro Di Martino is best known and well- known for his house sound under the moniker Musumeci. Elsewhere the elusive, anonymous newcomer Phunkadelica has offered a fresh injection of rugged dimension and intergalactic groove since their 2017 debut. Uniting on the first half of this EP, Musumeci & Phunkadelica's talents merge in a playful, complex tug-of-war. 'Babilonia' is as abundant as its mythical name suggests, with a snaky groove and retro laser trails embedded in the framework of a modern house burner. The pair's second production, 'Velluto Blu,' means 'Blue Velvet', and is a moody and evocative take on dark, slow disco full of cinematic suspense.

On the record's B-side, alumni artists Stereocalypse, aka Olderic & Andrea Doria, return from the heights of 'Blue Dome Escargot,' as featured in the latest instalment of acclaimed Innervisions series Secret Weapons Part 10 . In similar spirit to the guitar licks that drove 'Blue Dome Escargot,' the first of the duo's Romantico Disco productions, 'Lone Solo Drummer,' focuses on the rhythmic capabilities of a percussive kit, joined with bass and sparkling synth stabs for a live band sound aesthetic. To complete the EP, Stereocalypse's second production, 'The Cunning Man' gazes across the sea to the Balearic Islands, and further beyond that to the cosmos, growing in size to engage its full intergalactic powers.

Kalita Records and CC:EDITIONS (a new venture by
Australia's CC:DISCO) jointly announce a 12' EP
comprised of four of Nana Tuffour's greatest electronic
burger highlife tracks, accompanied by interview-based liner
notes. Here, in partnership with Nana, we select two highly
sought-after songs from his 1993 release 'Genesis', namely
'Sikyi Medley' and 'M'Anu Me Ho', and pair them his with two
lesser known yet equally deserving tracks 'Asamando' and
'Jesus' from his 1997 CD-only release 'Highlife Tropicana'.
Hailing from Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region in Ghana,
Nana Tuffour is by far one of the most important exponents of
modern highlife music. He studied piano at college and cut his
teeth in the '70s as an organist and vocalist for the incomparable
Kyeremanteng Atwede and Dr. K Gyasi's Noble Kings Band.
Fast forward to 1981 and Ghana was at the apex of its golden age
of music. This era was brought to an abrupt end by political
upheaval when the military took over the government and as a
result a restrictive dusk to dawn curfew was imposed between
1982 and 1984. This resulted in a total obliteration of the country's
night life, and Nana just like many other prominent musicians
including Pat Thomas and George Darko left Ghana for greener
pastures, the most popular destinations being Nigeria and
Germany. The Rheinklang Studio in Düsseldorf run by a young
inimitable German sound engineer Bodo Staiger and another
'exiled' Ghanaian musician Charles Amoah played a crucial role
for those musicians who had chosen Germany. This studio
became the focal point for Ghanaian musicians and the birthplace
of a new sound, now known as 'Burger highlife' - traditional
Ghanaian highlife infused with the more up to date electronic and
disco sounds of the West. It is arguable that Nana has played a
crucial role in Burger highlife and developing the sound of
traditional Ghanaian highlife more widely to what it is today, with
his innovative use of electronic accompaniment pushing its
boundaries to its creative extremes.
It is Burger highlife's transcendence of traditional musical
boundaries that helps make it so accessible to listeners,
appealing not only to Ghanaians back home but now highly
regarded and sought-after by those in the West interested in
more occidental disco and electronic sounds. We hope that you
enjoy the four songs offered here, each chosen to demonstrate
Nana's singular influence on the development of Burger highlife.

Stamping the passport this time round we have DJ Ric Piccolo by way of Buenos Aires, who takes lost and obscure Argentinian records and injects them with a turbo shot of discoid overload. If you've just got onboard the Passport to Paradise spaceship, don't fret- PTP13 is the perfect introduction for the aspiring cosmic voyageur. Ric Piccolo kicks off with the heady throes of 'Fuck All Nite' . You've heard it before but you can't remember where. Take the advice- this is your 3am matchmaking tool. Then head onto A2, 'Passage', where the wind whistles through tropical vines and monkeys play Moogs on the rainforest floor. TIP!
On the flip side we have '1, 2, 3..', sounding like the lost credit track to a 1980s Latin horror b-movie, where flare-clad zombies with glasses of fernet rock and sway with drunken senoritas. It could well be. Finally, B2, Venus rounds of the release in true cosmic disco style.

This time in Calypso, Aristidez takes us on journey trough the streets of Lima Peru. The Chaos and the spirituaity of this old country are noticable on all of this tracks. Rumbling percussions and vocals, harmony and rythm, darkness and light all come togeter through the use of samples to show the quality of this young up and coming producer. "Nada Nada" it's the mantra that will help you go through the morning in a grey and cloudy city. "Reyerta" represents the violence of many Latin American cities having a hard time. Evoca its the mix between the first two where peace and violence find them selves in a catarchic release of energy. Symple Symmetry brings the tempo up for their Nada Nada remix asking everyone "what happens after death".

Fleeting Wax introduces Eva Geist to their rooster - a very promising producer and live act. With a nordic feeling of nostalgia Blumareciano depicts the mediterranean sea landscape on a cloudy winter day. Soft beats, braid arpeggiators and thin out vocals build a cinematic scenario of spacious narration, a odyssey vacation thrilled by the new and encouraged by the hope to one day come back home. San Propers Remix takes Blumareciano down to a rusty dirty club and manages to combine techno with the deep vocals of Eva Geist.

Rotterdam's Machinegewehr strikes again on Bordello A Parigi! Two club bangers with beautiful artwork from the man himself. Must have!

The man, the myth, the legend ... back in the 80s Jesse Rae, along with Roger Troutman and Bernie Worrell, was part of the P-Funk movement that was hugely influential to Detroit's early electronic experiments. Lesser known is that the enigmatic Scot-funk warrior later produced underground electronic tracks in the 90s. The inaugural release on Glasgow label Southside Shufflers presents two of Jesse's Shufflers on vinyl for the first time on the Global 95 EP- a sampler from his pioneering 1995 album 'Compression'. Ever the innovator, Jesse recorded the album collaboratively using live ISDN technology spanning three continents, with the resultant tracks fusing African, US electro-funk and old Scots influences. 23 years later, Jesse's under the radar Shufflers sound more relevant than ever.
Southside Shufflers are a record label and sports collective based in Glasgow with outposts in London and Amsterdam. SSS- ain't no half steppin'!

The Tiger is back - finally on full length again! Italian Dodi Palese is a helpless vinyl addict: if it sounds good, he buys it. Collecting for most of his life, he soaks up anything he can then uses these records to speak to his audience in whatever way suits. Growing up with a father who ran a radio station is what installed this eclectic ethic in him, and it set him in good stead from the off.

For many years Dodi was core resident at Casablanca (RIP) in Southern Italy, where he would often spread his musical wings through funk, jazz, soul, afro, disco, house and techno for up to eight hours a night. It was an important learning curve that means he is now able to take a dance floor's hand and lead it on an unpredictable and rewarding journey through sound that defies the usual categorisations.

In the studio, Dodi focusses on following his instincts and getting lost in the moment: he makes music designed for dancing, and music that veers from afro-funky house to deep and supple minimal techno for the late night hours. It is slick, original stuff with real feeling imbued in the compelling grooves. Dodi also curates his own two labels What Ever Not, together with Dan Mela, and Engrave LTD, with Musumeci. They naturally have a broad outlook that takes in raw four-four, afro, electro and techno, and call upon a mix of artists who are well established as well as hot rising stars.
