Club Paradiso is a mission. This italo-duo comes from Rimini, Adriatic Coast, and brings forth the golden age of the spanking Riviera club culture. Travelling through time and space with synths and drum machines, they mix the past(a) and the future.
It's not all about nostalgia, it's the future they like.

The new EP titled 'Panoramica' sexily rides the summer vibe with infectious body-moving rhythms.
The EP is an hypnotic and groovy journey that starts off with 'Batongo', a tribal and exotic dancefloor banger that will let the sweat out of the listener in zero time. 'Espresso Notte' is filled with organic house grooves, dreamy pads and a synth that tells you a story that could go on and on and on.

The ever-charming UK based pop power trio – Patawawa released their funky indie dance jam on Kraak & Smaak's label Boogie Angst'. Stepping up on remix duties is Hot Toddy, a name synonymous with quality in the UK disco, house and dance scenes. One of the founding members of Crazy P, both his work with that project and his releases under his solo moniker have never been short of excellent. There is no denying his pedigree in the genre and has once again assembled two absolute fire-starting reworks.

Maintaining the catchiness and instant glittery likability of the original, his mixes instead focus firmly on the club dancefloor with the 'Hot Toddy Disco Dub' clocking in at eight minutes and boasting more grooves than your local car-tyre dealership. It's still a bass led fiesta with disco vibes aplenty for your dancing pleasure. And for those that like their mixes a bit deeper fear not! There's the self-explanatory - 'Hot Toddy Deeper Dub' which is everything you'd want and more all neatly packaged in a dub mix.

Italian electronic music mastermind ABYSSY and the Marseille underground hero DONARRA, share for the ALLEY VERSION's 4th release the split E.P. "CLOSE".

ABYSSY aka Mayo Soulomon has, over the years, released records of great interest for Mathematics, New Interplanetary Melodies and many other labels, marked by Detroit and Chicago influences reworked in his personal complex cut.
DONARRA comes to ALLEY VERSION after two beautiful E.P. for Skylax Records and La Chinerie, and recently spotted with its synth-dark-industrial-punk moniker Cardinal & Nun, on L.I.E.S.

The opening ABYSSY's "Close To Me", an obscure rough track totally jacked with the legendary rhythm sampler E-MU SP1200, is an instant cult.
In the following "Lower Michigan Ave", a hypnotic dark plot of analog synthesizers runs on a leftfield rhythm cut, while a whiny female voice condenses the air.

First track of DONARRA's side, "Nostalgie Futuriste", is a surreal sound voyage where are merged Chicago House and Zen atmospheres.
In the culminating Detroit style banger "Rivières Lumineuses", the trippy movements of percussions and synthetic melodies are pure magic.

Mars landing imminent, the A side houses the space-age, interplanetary ‘Cozmic Funk’ with its whoozy synths and alluring vocals. Back this with the squelching goodness of ‘Funk Of The Future’ packed with sleazed up keys, thumping bass injections and vibrant chants.

On the flip side, ‘Waves Of Funk’ turns the celestial synthwork up to hyperdrive, mixing sensuous basslines with bewitching vocals to lure in any wanderers. Closing out the EP on the final funk wave, vocoder business blends with extra-terrestrial Balearic guitars in ‘Skin Tite Funk’ as the shuttle turns it’s trajectory back to planet earth.

Dark Entries Editions reissue series continues with a double A-side of the first two Helen maxi singles, 'Witch' and 'Zanzibar', as a 4-song EP. Helen was an Italo disco studio project that consisted of various producers, songwriters, and vocalists from Italy in the 1980s. The first line-up included popular Italo producers Piero Cairo and Massimo Noe, known for their work with Joe Yellow, Den Harrow, Pink Project, and Dharma to name a few. They were joined by prolific Italo session vocalist Elena Ferretti. 'Witch' was originally released in 1983 on Out Records, a label distributed by Discomagic Records. Signature Linndrum and Simmons drums create the driving rhythm track while Elena's powerful vocals tell the haunted tale of a witch and her magic. In 1985 the second incarnation of Helen recorded the song 'Zanzibar'. The vocal version was written by Ennio Ronchelli (Keyboards) and Roberto Barocelli (Guitar, Bass), with singer Daniela Paratici. This line-up was heavily influenced by the 'Afro' movement made popular by DJ Beppe Loda. 'Afro' refers to the Cosmic musical trend of slower disco records featuring African drums and rhythms. The 'Afro Mix' of 'Zanzibar' was produced by DJ Daniele Losi and Roberto Lodola, with additional live hand drums and sticks by Nigerian percussionist George Aghedo. All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The vinyl is housed in the original jacket from the ''Witch'' maxi single, featuring artwork by Elena Feretti. Adam's release for Giant is titled - DAY2DAY and has all the trademark's of Adam's wonky,
left of feld, slightly of kilter grooves - DAY2DAY builds and snakes itself into a bottom bass heavy House jam - Chicago style keys mould the snare and hats into an infectious work out - with an alien like hook that keeps it all slightly wobbly. The
next cut is from the super talented CARL FINLOW under carl's RANDOM FACTOR guise, a beauty in its own right ! Super tight drums and a punchy RANDOM FACTOR bassline take's this mix on a journey through many shades of electronica - as the track swells nicely with warm atmospheric pads and sprinkles of emotive keys, with an electro style hook that keep's it all swinging in Carl's trademark sound. The next mix is from LA based producer MIEKA DU FRANX. Mieka's mix strips the original
down to the bare essentials and gives it a tuf minimal feel. The last mix is from ECHO OF GLORY, which see's Echo take the track on a Acid tinged work out - adding

12th Release from GIANT RECORDS is from BASEMENT UK - Abian Saavedra and Brando Morales are two young producers that hail from the Canary islands and both have a massive love and respect for the early UK HOUSE & GARAGE sound - hence their name. Their track - GANGSTA - lends itself to the above mentioned sound and could surely stand the test of time among those early classics and it reminds us of an early Grant Nelson Nice&Ripe groove, Wicked swinging drums and hats that all sit comfortably on a low sub bass and spoken word jam. The next mix of GANGSTA is from long time Giant favorite TOM GILLIERON - Tom's mix is dark and twisted with hidden layers that swell and grow through the track - his mix builds and builds with a subtle use of the original vocal which then turns into a trippy late night slice of dark magic - Tom's sound is 100% on the button on this mix - EXCEPTIONAL ! The following mix is from long standing Tech-House master - JAY TRIPWIRE - Jays mix takes us on a 303 Acid ride into a heady state of affairs, twisting and turning the dial until the point of break - a serious peak time killer. Served up this Nme is another dope Joaquin Joe Claussell Edit & Overdub of the not overly played soulful disco classic Ntled “Come Go with Me” by Pockets. Come Go with Me is an album cut that was never releases on a 12” and is another example of album songs that were a favorite at the Claussell family’s home growing up. This is destined to be another Unofficial Edits & Overdubs Classic.

Welcome to the fourth chapter of the ELASTE series!

In this compilation I am progressing a style I am inaugurating: Vintage Futurism. The best metaphor for this genre is Charanjit Singh's 1982 album Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat in which he created a sound which mirrors, but more importantly pre-dates, the first acid house record by five years. It is no novelty record, but truly capturing the hypnotic potential of acid/house music. It became my key track for Elaste Volume 4.

Previous incarnations of Elaste have aimed to catch the spirit of the late 70's Italian Cosmic Discotheque, a place where the history of DJing was rewritten within this microcosm. For this latest instalment I was most intrigued by weird of-the-time (or 'out-of' as the case turned out to be) electronic disco, a vast genre!

Bringing together those progressive avant-garde tracks that were expanding the genres of house, disco, acid, new wave, and ultimately use Elaste as a vehicle to highlight those tracks that were ahead of their time. These legendary works ranges from 1978 to 1996, a wide spectrum of musical history, in which some of the older tracks may sound modern, and newer ones sound may sound vintage.

Many of these authentic back-to-the-aural-future moments were initial sparks for whole genres - Larry Heard´s Disco-D alias happened just before house music. Greg Wilson's 1984 project Equip was produced for a UK Electro compilation, but never made the LP, because it sounded simply too futuristic. Michael Rinder´s Gluttony can't be called Disco any more, not even Post-Disco. For Elaste Vol. 4 we have built Vintage Futurism as a home for these ultramodern mavericks. - Dompteur Mooner

Mooner stepped into the limelight as part of Zombie Nation, whose 1999 smash hit 'Kernkraft 400' was signed to DJ Hell's Gigolo label and earned worldwide chart success. As one of the most knowledgeable experts in obscure vintage electronic music, Mooner however decided to do things a little less obvious from that point on: He left Zombie Nation and founded Erkrankung durch Musique, a label dedicated to releasing left-field electronica, from techno to experimental pop, old and new. He also a highly regarded DJ, known for his unmatched record collection and bootleg edits, such as his - Girls Girls Girls' Ep that combined great 80s girl bands as extented edits, or - Greatest Hits', an hommage to dance - orientaed Rock music.

Mooner just finished his fourth chapter of - Elaste', a compilation series for Compost Records that started the Cosmic Disco hype.

We got to know Dan Only, an exciting emerging artist from the Toronto underground, when he collaborated with Jesse Futerman on our recent 'Deep Love 2017 compilation. His debut record, released on Adam Marshall's 'New Kanada' imprint, introduced his deep instinct for electronic music and unique, boundless approach to deep house. An avid collector of old school gear you can hear the analogue warmth throughout this intricately detailed yet heavy hitting four-tracker. 'It's Clear' opens. A solid House jam, its thumping drums and resonating melodies follow a steady bass groove ready to heat up the dance floor. 'Be Major...Believe' leads in more gently before warbling key lines and synth details layer over gritty percussion pushing the mood closer and closer to bursting. This one conjures images of summer nights and distant coast lines. On the B, simmering vocals and tropical rhythms dance amongst straight forward house energies on 'Don't You Understand". Rich with subtleties, it's somehow smooth while seriously impactful. Finally we have 'Truffles". A very modern twist on Disco vs House it's an original Italo infused gem with an edit feel, that maintains the vibe of an 80s era hedonistic night throughout. Perfect as a peak time mood elevator or blissful, hands-in-the-air closing record. We're convinced Dan Only's future is bright and are overwhelmed by the quality and musicality of this, his first solo EP on Dirt Crew Recordings.

Younger Rebinds is a new project and imaginary band by the inimitable and unstoppable Benny Rodrigues. Maybe best-known for his Rod moniker and releases on Klockworks, Rodrigues embodies and keeps the candour, spirit and curiosity that made techno music stand out in its start-up years - and that's exactly what we have here. The "Retro 7 Ep" makes the most of the classic 707 drum machine, gnarly synths, ambient soundscapes, pianos and organs. Done in a way that is as much new wave, as it is electronic disco. Spread out over a double-pack with eight tracks (8!, get it), the Younger Rebinds hit the sweet spot between vintage DJ Hell aesthetics, Sterac Electronics and Trevor Jackson's Metal Dance dogma, if its choir would be muted. Loud pressing and hypnotic artwork included. Please don't look at it for more than 5 minutes.

With their next carefully curated release, the Opilec Music label begins to shine a light on the roots of Italo with the reissue of an ultra rare and obscure synth Italo disco track by A. Avenue from 1984.

This is a special Record Store Day 2016 release and of course, Opilec Music has remastered the original vocal and instrumental versions and here include I-Robots reconstructions and two Flemming Dalum's reworks.

This is a track many labels wanted, but only Opilec Music have been granted official rights to this cult re-release. Originally released on Discover Records, this is the only EP

A. Avenue (aka Dario Ancona and F. Feleppa) ever put out and it now fetches high prices on Discogs. Once you hear the music, you can understand why: The lovably naive and innocent vocal version is seven minutes of cosmic and psychedelic grooves with perfectly retro melodies and pixelated chords that take you into outer space.

Mid tempo drums are full of funk and drive and the two part vocal—one crisp and clean, one filtered and dehumanised—really lend the whole thing a special robot feel that is second to none. As well as a stripped back instrumental, there is a fine I-Robots Reconstruction that is quicker and more driving.

The vocals are also more prominent, soaring up top above reflective synths and rainy xylophone style melodies. It is a real Italo disco gem that is followed by a spacious and tripped out version from Danish DJ and producer Flemming Dalum, who has been devoted to Italo all his life and works with labels like Mothball, Bordello A Parigi and Disco Modernism.

He also layers in more cowbells, punchy drums and claps that refresh it for a modern club, and buy the EP digitally and you will get a second Dalum edit that is the deepest of the lot - 100% true to the original.

This reissue will make many record collectors and Italo disco fans truly happy, and is just the start of some brilliant new projects to come.

It is issued as a limited edition of 300 hand-stamped and numbered 12” vinyl containing the 10-minute, 22-second ‘long’ version of the track as originally released on the 1989 maxi single. The other side contains an etching based on the original album cover artwork.

Jaeger Club´s resident Ivaylo returns here to Prins Thomas' always on-point Full Pupp label for a release defined by its imaginative take on contemporary house and techno. Featuring three peak-time dance floor tracks, Syklon is a release that speaks to discerning dance floor connoisseurs in emphatic fashion.

MB DISCO IS BACK After a break. we're ready with new releases. After heavy demand, we decided to press this little gem on vinyl. It features the stellar remixes from Psychemagik.

Named after an 80s French cartoon, this single is the product of Turkish producer Alico and his shady cohort, Cagri. The tune is a straight-up salad of vintage Eurodisco with lashings of Italo dressing. Evoking the likes of 'Droid' by Mito, Vangelis and anything by Hipnosis, this laconic sprawling synth-fest is saved from total retroville by a crisp modern electro-house bounce.

Emotional Rescue returns to the Caribbean with the music of Glen Ricks and his infectious Jamaica meets Boogie goldmine that is I've Been Waiting For You.

A performer since the age of 7, Glen Ricks (born Ricketts), established a reputation for his singing range and ability to seamlessly shift from tenor to soprano, going on to sell over a million records around the world.

Having immigrated to Canada as a child, after teaming up with his first band The Fabulous Flames Ricks returned to Jamaica to create his first records. Moving effortlessly from reggae to lovers, and dancehall to soul, R&B, disco and boogie, Ricks established a successful career and he continues to perform to this day.

I've Been Waiting For You is indicative of that cross-pollination of style and sound. Released on 7" in 1983 on the short lived Seraff label, the mix of Ricks' soul voice with laid back boogie groove creates a sound full of lazy JA swing.

Now highly sought after, this special 12" reissue includes the stand out vocal and is backed with an instrumental that builds on the interplay between bass, drums, piano, guitar, keys and finally, backing vocals. To seal the deal - and in true label style - LA's rising star DJ Duckcomb presents the perfect Discomix, seamlessly cutting between both versions with some respectful dubbing in the mix.

Italian House music pioneer LTJ releases two funky edits and hosts a lush rework by Canadian heavyweight DJ and producer Eddie C on London label untitled (recs) for the second installment of the imprint's u(r)blue series. 2 sides, 2 heavyweights groovers!

LTJ has been DJing since the late 80s in his hometown of Bologna and has since then developed a cult following garnering international acclaim from his peers. His productions are notably regulars in Moodymann's tracklisting.

The opener 'Street' is an edit of 'Street Dance' by funk/disco American group Fatback band. A2 is an exhilarating rework with acid undertones of 'Black is The Color' by legendary funk guitar player Wilbert Longmire. On the B side, Eddie C goes head to head with LTJ by producing an edit of the same Longmire track fueled with his own signature deep & dreamy production.

Summer is coming sooner this year, and you can tell from the heat of the two latest releases from Slow Motion: yes ladies and gents, Italian Dance Wave Compilations are back! The first of the two, “Italian Dance Wave Disco Sette”, is here to delight you: starting from a half Italo and half Asian influenced Altieri track, killing it with a dancefloor belter that will make you sweat the night away, raving sensations guaranteed. Lukebox (Fabrizio Mammarella and Umberto Saba from the duo Loudtone) will serve you a slightly more downtempo, modular, weirdo beast that will make your head bang without you even notice: banger. Back on your turntables, is also Robotalco who is providing some proto-house extravaganza and adding some charme to the dirty, chunky beats of the compilation. Last but not least, José Manuel, delivering a touch of biting deep house and electro tribal feels to close the gap, and make us scream “hell yes”.

Dusted up from endless years digging this pair of record enthusiast’s productions are full of the flavours of original disco and soul. Prelude Records is easily one of THE most influential Disco labels of all time. The label released classic upon classic and launched the careers of many now influential artists and producers and engineers. Names like Francois K, Shep Pettibone, Tony Humphries and more were all intrinsic to the Prelude story. The music this label released throughout it's life has shaped modern day club culture and continues to do so....

1977 saw the release of one of Prelude's most sought after, desired and rare offerings. A 12" promo that features 2 insanely deep cuts from the labels impressive repertoire. Bill Brandon & Lorraine Johnson's split DJ promo '‎We Fell In Love While Dancing / The More I Get, The More I Want' - 2 megaton Disco bombs that will have your dancefloor in a frenzy. This essential release has changed hands for hundreds of pounds on the used market and has never been legally reissued before, there are sub-standard boots around and they sound awful. This official reissue has the full unedited versions of the tracks and has been repressed from the master sources and with the full involvement of the licensors to provide 2019's clubs with a true Disco rarity, as it was way back in '77!

Kalita's obligatory Record Store Day offering is something rather special: synth-funk visionary couple Emerson and Leora Sandidge's mythical unreleased album finally sees the light of day, following Emerson's sole private press seven-inch single release way back in 1988. Those two tunes ("Sending All My Love Out" and "Why Are You So Cold?") make the cut on this belated debut set, alongside six other previously unreleased recordings from the same sessions. Their take on electrofunk, boogie and '80s soul is colourful, soulful and synth-heavy, with the included tracks veering from up-tempo club workouts (see "Raw Deal Cocaine Kills") and fizzing dancefloor pop workouts, to sugary ballads and seductive slow jams. In other words, it's a more than tidy selection of rare and unheard gems.

Hugo Mari, formerly known as Books, has been receiving a lot of welldeserved love of late, and for good reason. Even though the London-based producer has been delivering respected dance-floor cuts and Edits on labels such as Omena, XVI and Sound Of Speed, his most recent release on Detroit Swindles’ Heist has really helped put him on the map. Having remixed Dele Sosimi and been remixed by Laurence Guy and Kai Alce, Hugo is moving in the right circles and it’s only a matter of time before he really gets the recognition he deserves.

His debut EP for Freerange is aptly titled Unalloyed Pleasure and consists of three originals that will give you and the dance floor just that. The lead track manages to meld slamming kicks, distorted bassline, deep, cinematic strings, disco hats and cut up spoken word into something fresh and unique.

Raise It Up sees Hugo go full on euphoric disco mode with an uplifting slice of sun-drenched soul just perfect for the summer months ahead. Lush Philly strings and vocal sample bring a classic vibe and catchy hook to the party.

Closing out this brilliant EP we have Just A Memory, a jazzier and more pensive slice of deep house music with upright bassline and familiar Rhodes sample taking centre-stage. Snippets of vocal float in and out of focus whilst the rolling, percussive groove brings an immersive energy that locks you in to it’s seductive mood.

Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan’s inimitable imprint Ouïe sees the long-time collaborators return with their second EP on the label since its 2016 launch. Inaugurated as an experimental space for left-field artists, the burgeoning label has secured a coveted reputation for issuing story-telling, evocative cuts which blur genres and challenge dancefloors. With this stirring, three-track outing, the duo once again steer Ouïe as being a valuable source of essential electronica for open-minded music lovers. The atmospheric ‘Flying Lizard’ is a stunning masterclass of dreamy, emotive soundscapes, with rousing drums beating the terrain while the track soars with an enrapturing melody. ‘Huch’ has listeners craving dancefloor heat with goading afro drum rhythms taking the lead before an elevating synth line weaves in some much-welcomed euphoria. Closing the EP is ‘Alambic’, a track equally as provoking in its afro-inspired drum pattern and percussion, and it’s one certain to invoke a positive response as pulsing pads drive momentum up a notch.

The Cologne-based producer, DJ, and Ancient Future Now label-boss dispatches four tracks of angular, emotive acid house destined to be intensified by the reception of perspiring dancers and exultant listeners around the globe.

"Positional Play" combines the gentle whiplash of splashing snares with a delirious, flourishing arpeggiated melody, while "Nah" draws the ecstatic inward to its essentials, opening with the sparse chime of bells, faraway metallic percussion, and plaintive piano pluck before accelerating into a chord-busting frenzy.

"Five Dimensional Coffee Cup" is the real rave up of the bunch, though, offering an energy alloy with pure, psychedelic force. Finally, "Please Please" pares down to swinging percussion and pleasing / pleading melody, overlaid with soft, swelling chords.

The new Outplay release is by young and upcoming dj/producer Cleanfield, or 'Jelle' as his mom calls him.

He has made three super catchy tracks for us, perfect for the summer season!

First up is the title track 'Haute Cuisine', warm bouncy bass topped with a super infectious lead melody and percussion. If there is a track more suited for the festival season it's this one for sure!
'Hot Wheels' races on with a deep rolling groove, fuelled by wah wah rhythm guitars, warm synth chords and arpeggios.
'Conflict With Clayton' brings another solid groove to the table with scattered vocal samples and multiple synth layers. Scorcher!

Once upon a time, the footjob crew moved into a new studio space in their hometown Darmstadt. This location was previously used by a religious community that found its purpose in the worship of Shiloh. Phonk D and Sascha Ciminiera have somehow absorbed the spirit and created this EP as if by magic. In order to enjoy this spiritual journey even more, they asked Johannes “the wizard” Albert for his support. He was immediatly hooked, threw a few herbs together and brewed them a tasty remix.

It’s been ten years since Future Disco arrived with the seminal first edition ‘A Guide To 21st Century Disco’. Since then they have gone on to release over 20 albums and countless worldwide parties and radio shows. So to celebrate ten years in the Disco forefront Future Disco have provided a new artistic direction alongside a brand new album in the series.



While the outside may have changed the inside is exactly the same. An eclectic selection recapitulating the sound of today and tomorrow, with firm nod to the past. Future Disco has always managed to weave that line of interesting and party starting and on this album, it’s no different. Disco has always been about uniting the dance-floor and Future Disco embody this spirit with a cross selection of sounds and artists.



They find plenty of future rising stars with New Zealand’s Flamingo Pier and Paris’s Yuksek all comfortably sitting alongside more established names such as Jamie Jones, who reworks the legendary Teddy Pendergrass, Metro Area’s Darshan Jesrani and the original destroyer of Rock and Roll, Mylo.



There’splenty of exclusives on this album. One exclusive coming from superstar dance producer Mylo, one from cult hero Kiwi and a Future Disco edit from head compiler Sean Brosnan. It also see’s a number of tracks being pressed to vinyl for the very first time including the aforementioned Jamie Jones remix of Teddy Pendergrass, Galaxians, The Funk Hunters and Bertrand Burgalat.



The entire mixed album has as always been edited and mixed for dancing pleasure. For the first time the album will be available as a heavyweight limited vinyl edition, with 300x limited edition pressed to pearl white.
