‘Borderline’ is the debut single from hotly-tipped Jamaican-Canadian artist and musician, SeeMeNot. Released on 18 September, 2020 and accompanied by a remix from Roman Flügel, ‘Borderline’ is available via SeeMeNot’s own imprint, Brainstream. Her debut will be followed by the release of ‘Invisible Me’ produced by Peace Division’s Justin Drake, and ‘Chez Renee’, remixed by Joe Goddard, all in the coming months. A 21 st century house anthem, ‘Borderline’ is a stunning debut that shows the power of both SeeMeNot’s voice and her lyrics, and has been championed so far by Skream, Anja Schneider, Solomun, Adriatique, TSHA, Erol Alkan, Adana Twins, Monika Kruse, Andhim, Tim Sweeney, Chloé, Marco Carola, Digitalism, and many more.

‘Borderline’ was sampled on SeeMeNot’s July 2020 debut mixtape ‘Long Overdue: The Sound Of A Revolution’ along with an excerpt of the powerful speech by Tamika Mallory in the wake of the death of George Floyd.

Reclaiming house music as a form of protest, ‘Long Overdue: The Sound Of A Revolution’ was SeeMeNot’s first creative work. Released via her Soundcloud page, ‘Long Overdue’ featured SeeMeNot singing a cappella over a mix from DJ Oliver Baptiste. The 30 minutes of music is the sound of a Black female artist detailing the journey of Black people from Fight to Flight, channeling the pain she’s experiencing – and experienced – into something beautiful that pays respect to her ancestors but serves as a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional healing through singing and music. Influences from country music to gospel are joined through a shared history of hymnals as both protest and healing music. SeeMeNot recently released a PSA on her YouTube featuring an acapella from the mixtape – “a childhood cover” of the late Ray Charles – paying homage to Black Lives Matter.

Feiertag is a label mainstay who fuses syncopated downtempo rhythms with international vocalists to make for exotic, escapist groove. The new album is a hugely anticipated debut that has already spawned two brilliant singles in âÇsSaccharine ' and âÇsTrepidation' which both get remixed here.

Libertine Industries 06 features the first long-player from the UK rising artist Phase O'Matic. Expect Ebm, Acid, and Ravey dance floor bombs, plus some more experimental and complex beats.

Romantic proto-acid written and composed by a young Ukrainian student Maxim Shubski in 2010 on a cold winter day in East Germany and subsequently released later same year as a limited run of 100 vinyl copies under “Andreuccio Torelli” moniker. This release was accompanied by a fake story about the lost & found master tapes by an unknown Italian producer from the 80’s. The story is still available as a PDF on the label’s website. Since the original vinyl stampers are long lost, Baran Records has made a new limited 7″ vinyl reissue featuring artwork by Pavel Golubovski from the “Elektroherd” band and careful mastering by Dunkeltier aka DJ Sneaker from Dresden/Berlin at Tail Out Mastering studio.

I Lost My Poncho In Istanbul presents to you a fresh release between stars originated on far away galaxies that collided when settled for a few weeks in Berlin. This rare encounter brought to life Moisk.

Moisk is a collab between the talented Vilnius based Pletnev (also known as Ponty Mython) and the Mauritian brave globetrotter Fourmï Rouz. In this debut EP they go deep on the acid rhythms and soundscapes with a post apocalyptic and obscure electro tracks.

Seven years and forty releases later, old friends reunite for a special occasion. JOSS, the boss of Kyiv vinyl label Artreform, is glad to announce a new release by Sapurra, the project helmed by the weathered DJ Sergey Sapunov. JOSS and Sapunov have enjoyed top stardom status within Heaven dancefloor of Kazantip ever since day one. The same dancefloor Laurent Garnier reminisced playing in the extended edition of his influential book ELECTROCHOC.

Nowadays, these two are traversing parallel courses. New Sapurra tracks deliver easily distinguishable, authentic sound of Artreform: classic tech-house that is slightly leaning on the techno side of things. One of Sapurra tracks on offer is boosted with a masterful remix by Argentinian DJ Franco Cinelli. Cinelli is notorious for his groundbreaking Picaro EP recorded together with Bruno Pronsato, a skillful producer creating deep house with surgical precision and attention to craft. Franco's shows are an experience of its own thanks to a combination of vinyl DJ set elements with electronic music live performance.

Sapurra's latest release on powerhouse Ukrainian imprint is called Feeling+. And this very feeling, this resonant pulsation is what keeps Artreform's gears in motion and its history being written on to date and on.

After a first successful landing in mid-pandemic times, the Funky Shirts crew is back with a freshly cooked serving. ‘U Hold A Spatial Place In My Shirt’ EP is a recollection of memories from the Funkew’s galactic trips and their friendly encounters with space pirates Herr Krank, Deborah Aime La Bagarre, Adria and a funknown criminal who shall remain anonymous.

bassline, open chords and an irresistible hook

In the studio of the small Italian town of Cremona, some of the famous but early representatives of a not-yet-named- music style called Italo Disco get together to record a song. Among them are the most active and influential singers, producers and arrangers of this musical movement from Cesare Pasquali to Jimmy Mc Foy including Ottavio Bacciocchi.

Most importantly, two friends, Larry Pignagnoli and the famous Ivana Spagna, were writing a song together. It has been unnoticed so far, but always had the power and stamina to make the dead dance.

Dutch producer Danny Wolfers aka Legowelt needs little introduction unless you’ve spent the past two decades buried beneath a Mont Blanc avalanche. His enormous collection of synthesizers, as well as his unwavering love for analogue production tools, justifiably places him in the synth music “Hall of Fame”. Since releasing his first material in the early 1990s, Legowelt has incessantly produced music and continues to display seemingly limitless creativity. As a result he has built an unparalleled discography that also includes an assortment of artist aliases.

Legowelt’s new EP ‘System Shapeshift’ will be released on Lapsus sub label C.E.E., specializing in more club-oriented sounds. The label returns to action after a two-year hiatus, during which time its intrepid explorers failed twice to scale the dizzy heights of Nanga Parbat. Now back at sea level C.E.E.’s head honchos have confirmed the release of Legowelt’s new five-track EP, bursting at the seams with 30 minutes of unrelenting old-school techno, synth house and snaking electro bathed in pure acid. The EP is a genuine time bomb, ideal for the most discerning of electronic music lovers.

"Slim Media Player returns to Pacific Rhythm with a wonderfully original EP, Quicksand, his first new material since 2016's Rhythms Of The Pacific Volume 3. The EP is the product of Slim Media Player & DJ D.DEE culling through 20+ hours of live jams recorded in Vancouver at Deep Blue Studios from 2016 to 2018.

The EP opens with the records namesake Quicksand, a playful piece of peak-time material that's quirky, uplifting, and dare we say a touch heart-warming. Mouthfeel comes through swinging but plays a touch more koi than the opener, serving as an effective tension-builder on the dancefloor that builds into a thoughtful groover with some light at the end of tunnel.

On the b-side S.M.P explores deeper territory with Memory Bias (Nostalgia Mix), an aquatic roller blanketed with warmth and a contemplative aire that stretches for nearly 9 minutes. The EP fades out with the gentle drift of Tschüs, a warm swaddle that will quell your anxieties and affirm that there are indeed some things that are right in this world, this track being one of them."

Following on from his 2021 debut on Phantasy, ‘Qué Sientes’ ft. Tee Amara, Cromby returns with another release that’s long been a secret weapon in his high-energy DJ sets everywhere from Berlin to his home city of Belfast, accompanied by an expertly-executed remix from Head High. Once again, Cromby provides one of his own sublime paintings as the artwork for 'Loving'.

Distinctly playable as either high-velocity house or pure rave with a refreshing streak of suspense, ‘Loving’ fires out the gate with inspired wonkiness, tripping on hardcore chords and a vocal sample manipulated to lunacy. Cromby reaffirms his instinctive ability to tip a dancefloor over the edge, planting multiple explosions of serotonin, the sort of drops that might shatter the windows of his beloved Panorama Bar, then confidently returning to a timeless groove.

Given the material, Head High, the alias of René Pawlowitz (AKA, Shed), proves a sublime choice to take on ‘Loving’. Delivering his first remix in a number of years, Pawlowitz induces a different kind of pressure, once again indulging in his lifelong devotion to classic organ chords, timeless breakbeats and the kind of chemically enhanced atmosphere bottled firsthand on the Frankfurt rave scene of the early nineties.

Complimenting the valleys of energy previously sculpted, Cromby winds things tighter on the rolling ‘Acid Trifle’, weaving percussive passages that speak for a reverence to Latin-House rhythms amid an undulating acid journey.

Thanks to a joint venture with fellow Belgian label Fenix Fire Records, the wait is over! Here’s a deluxe 2x12' compilation, on 180g marbled red vinyl in a beautiful gatefold package.

With 11 tracks spanning from the origins in 1990 to the rebirth since 2005, N9's most wanted releases are here, remastered by French sonic wizard André Dalcan, ready to get turntables at the right 33+8 mood, and get the white glove raised again!

The release also includes a digital version of the compilation, plus a 21 min megamix by Igor Altman, and 3 additional unreleased tracks, including the infamous cover of The Maxx's "Cocaine" in 2020

Time to welcome the return of Echonomist to TAU, as the prolific Greek producer comes through with a four track selection from his audio lab.
Echonomist exudes versatility, with a discography that includes a wide range of styles, demonstrating his ability to explore different genres with confidence and flair. His last appearance on TAU was a collab with the label heads Adana Twins which hit No.1 in the Beatport Indie Dance
chart. He’s also recently been releasing with Innervisions, as well as Kompakt. Echonomist has honed his sound, striking a delicate balance between emotion and rhythm, injecting authentic feeling into unadulterated dance floor moments…
The EP kicks off with the title track, ‘Get Closer’, a cut that features a heavy-hitting drum arrangement which sounds organic - like a live drum kit. A minute into the track and a heartwarming melody floats in, Echonomist adding layers of synth to increase the deep feeling. With the hefty beats, it’s a highly effective combination that is sure to rouse dance floors into wild abandon when the clubs open up…
Next up is ‘Pothos’ (featuring Mr. Lookman on the guitar), another cut that merges a live band feel with electronic influences. The extended
intro feels like a live on stage jam with guitarists and drummers hyping up the crowd. At just over 2 minutes 30, Echonomist introduces vintage synths, which take us back in time a few decades. As the track progresses, his playful approach produces electrifying moments of tension and release that make this one a special cut indeed.
Then we have two versions of ‘Death Goes To Disco’ (featuring Phunkadelica) to close the EP. The first mix works off a classic disco rhythm, hypnotic, almost narcotic in its spellbinding effect. A gentle build up guides us into the main body of the cut, with a retro style robotic vocal and subtle flourishes of sound to embellish the disco foundation. Giorgio Moroder would be proud.
Lastly, the second version of ‘Death Goes To Disco’ brings us to the end. The ‘Phunkadelica Acid I Love You Mix’ adds a squelchy acid lick to the cut, with high energy drops, booming drums and retaining the dramatic atmosphere of the original. An awesome accompaniment to the original, for those who love a slice of TR-303 (who doesn’t?!).

Jack On Black consists of Jib Rafill and Joe Le Groove, the pair met 6 years ago when Joe was djing in Malta. Their love electronic music, machines and old school sampling techniques sparked a desire to collaborate and organically work towards writing various genres of music, including Dub, House, Techno, Downtempo and even Film Scores.

Their music is made from passion, a love of technology and Roland outboard gear. Both have been on the scene for many years and separately have their own unique journeys and projects. Joe Le Groove started producing in the mid-nineties and was taught the basics by Darren White aka D-Bridge. He currently has projects on labels such as Desolat, Defected, Moon Habour,Snatch, Defected, Heidi's Jackathon

The pair also have released music on Cesare vs Disorders Serialism and written scores for forthcoming independant films.Their sets are performed live using outboard gear, mics, turntables and EFX. Expect the unexpected from this unlikely duo...

We are proud to welcome Fear-E for his Dark Entries debut ‘Grey Skies In A Dear Green Place’ out February 28th. Fear-E is the moniker of Scott McKay a Glasgow based DJ and producer. Scott has already made a name for himself as one of Glasgow’s most technically-gifted and diverse selectors over the past decade. Then a slew of releases on the home-grown Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Super Rhythm Trax introduced Fear-E, equally skilled studio operator, to the world.

‘Grey Skies In A Dear Green Place’ contains six club-ready tracks to “smash sound systems and illuminate sweaty warehouses.” The title is a reference to a nickname that Glasgow has, coming from Cumbric, means 'green hollow' or (dear) 'green place'. Layering cut-up vocals with warm thumping beats, Scott creates a stripped-back yet deeply jackin’ vibe. Call these tracks what you will, “acid attacks”, “club destroyers”, “pickle ticklers?!” All songs have been mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios. For the cover, Scott commissioned legendary Detroit illustrator Alan Oldham, who’s artwork has graced established an identity for Transmat and DJAX-UP-BEATS, to create a futuristic portrait of Glasgow in black & white and with green kryptonite flourishes by Eloise Leigh.d

Banoffee Pies Records 18th release in the Original Series continues with another speaker hugger via a 4 track EP from HearThuG. The Tunisia based artist, digger, and "Are You Alien" label/party founder joins the Banoffee fray with "Planet Rhythm X".

The Producer / DJ who honed a craft in sample twisted acid and breaks, drops their first solo release since 2018. A friendly face pushing the the local scene with an impressive output of heavily chaptered synth jams.

The lead track "Earthling" sets a welcome signal with a low key wiggle, chopped drums and pinching acid lines ahead of the title tune "Planet Rhythm X" on the A2, which shifts to a 4x4 launch pad and countdown. "The Land Of The Never Ending Jazz" opens the B side with a superb 9 minute exploration of playful melodies and jazz keys, with a classy twirl. The EP closes out with an ear worm and soft breaks in the form of "Love Lesson", featuring the smooth vocal works of local artist Fig Republic on the B2. Much love BPR x

MPD is proud to release the set played by Voiron at the 2015 edition of Weather Festival in Paris. Entrusted with the festival’s chill out stage for the sunrise slot, the Paris-based artist created a live set specially for the occasion. It turns out that this set was the highlight of Weather for many festival-goers and it has already reached somewhat of a legendary status in the French scene and beyond.

Connecting the dots between the approaches of artists such as Aphex Twin, Legowelt and Future Sound of London to name a few, Voiron’s music has always been about blending influences from braindance, acid house and techno, proper electro, early rave, early hardcore and 90’s dance music in his very own idiosyncratic style. Blending 303s, M1s, silly samples and brilliant hooks is this artist’s signature, and what a delight it is to spend some time with this sincere and unpretentious set full of great musical moments, full of familiar sounds and unexpected twists and turns. Wholehearted, sincere, bold, boundless and debonair, here are a few words to describe this wonderful live set released in a limited run of cassette tapes for all the bedroom and car stereo ravers and space cadets out there, along with the usual digital formats.

Four epic space jams to play as your attack ship goes down in flames off the shoulder of Orion. 'Go big or go home' could be Dream Ticket's motto by now, and Seoul-based Pyramid Of Knowledge has the sonic weaponry to live up to it: breaks, bass, acid and an extra heaping of laser noises. Hearing is believing!

Started a few years ago, the project 3ca1 is made up of three members: Sakdat, Balaur & Tangent. This rominimal project comes from the love of these guys for this genre.

With a lot of tracks, they made their name well known on the rominimal scene. Their tracks were played many times by the artists like: Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Charlie, Prichindel, Herodot, Sepp, Nu Zau, Gescu, Arapu etc.

Laconica is back after a 1 year break. This time it’s a first solo EP of Lviv’s very own DJ and producer Ocean T, who debuted on the previous release (supported by Brawther, Io (Mulen), Varhat and Subb-An). A-side contains two perfect examples of contemporary house music with lush pads and banging beats. Be ready for the acid patterns and big drops – it’s all for dance-floor. We tested these tracks and they work like magic!

B-side is the other side of the game: more broken beat and vintage. Label owner Alex Pervukhin delivers a remix for the main track with huge accent on acid and breaks. And last but not least is a dreamy outer-space burner that takes you on real journey to the future.
