Even though the only commonly known avant-pop/pseudo-world/cultural-rave outcome from Lithuania exists for more than 15 years, which is, for a Lithuanian band - A LOT, it seems this machine will never stop from moving forward, to the contrary - the legendary avant-project spins in it's own unstoppable wheel of fortune and change. Inspired what is commonly known as the 'Manchester's live-rave scene', V.R.R.'s main and only-permanent member Stavaris takes his time to travel to infinity and back in search of fellow companions, which, to be mostly frank, are very few. Later travels around the infinite have brought up a new exciting friendship with Ms. Muk, a local V.R.R. and music devotee. From then on - fear and love, excitement and hate have been unquestionable parts of the duos performance. The union of the small yet powerful Korg groove-box and a glamorously punk bass makes you feel as if you were caressed by airy knifes. The band is complete with Mr. Gintas Roze, a known guitar player in the local indie scene, who joined the band bringing a subtle hint of melancholic Kosmische Dimension with his lightsome yet noisy guitar. Limited to 250 copies on white vinyl!

There's no secrets here, Archipel always dreamed to feature Move D on a release, one day. That said, there's questions here but to say this release is more than a milestone, it is also the conclusion of many hopes made together a fine vinyl release named "Silent Voices EP" It features Move D along with Montreal's finest new talent, DJ HEAR who both worked out 3 magnificent, melodic, yet very hypnotizing tracks. The first in Midnight Shift's remix series sees festival headliners Deetron and Secret Cinema provide their dancefloor interpretation to
the label's debut release. Basic Soul Unit's cool A2 'Black Ice' is re-edited by none other than Deetron, the Swiss native with a prolific
and starry discography to his name. He turns Black Ice on its head, leading with its running bassline first while letting its crystal notes
be polished to a bright, blinding shine.
Already much supported by the likes of Nick Höppner, Shackleton, Josh Wink, Bleak and Dixon,
Eddie Niguel's 'Absolute' has been circling the circuit to great effect. Here, Netherland's Secret Cinema aka Jeroen Verheij pumps the
mental factor up sideways with an infectious, relentless groove that holds back just enough to keep you wanting more.

The show stealer comes courtesy of NY's Patricia who takes the lead track's disembodied vocal sample and proceeds to intertwine it around an at once sinister yet beatific piece of atmospheric po-mo techno.

Fast making his way on the underground circuit, rising star Samu.l is back onboard One Records home ground delivering his first single release for the label with the entrancingly dark and driving monster 'Invitations'. Rolling with effortless groove and an all encompassing depth in the atmospherics, this is essential DJ weaponry perfect for the late hours or early morning. Warmly welcomed to the label we see the highly talented Martin Buttrich conjure up a powerful remix true to his distinct style, with a grumbling bassline and sonic force that will undoubtedly dominate any dance floor at peak time, complemented with a raw and chugging dub version to complete the ultimate package.

Hailing from the Midlands themselves both Subb-an and Adam Shelton are proud to have fellow Birmingham artist Tom Reynolds aka Samu.l as part of the crew. After making his first appearance on the label early last year with 'Innocent' on a v/a sampler, Samu.l soon became a name everyone was talking about. Towards the end of the year he firmly planted his feet in the One family playing at their infamous Below party and with a stellar remix of Hector's 'Stoned Raiders' for the label. Releases have also been on the likes of Surface Recordings, Dogmatik and Infuse, with a much anticipated remix for Subb-an due on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records next year.

Wanting to secure the perfect remix for this release, the One boys called upon Desolat co-founder Martin Buttrich, a friend and artist who they highly respect. Being a hug fan of his work, Samu.l and Buttrich have also formed a connection over the last year appearing together on a number of line-ups. When not playing at the likes of Loco Dice's Used and Abused night in Ibiza, where he also played with Guy Gerber at his Wisdom Of The Glove night at Pacha, Buttrich is releasing on the labels such as Minus, Supplement Facts and his own Desolat. Watch out for a release also coming on Carl Craig's Planet E in February next year.

Eagerly awaited debut electronic album from Maya Jane Coles - Comfort is released on her own label I/AM/ME.

In Maya's own words: "It's very exciting to be in charge of my debut album. It's given me total creative freedom and that is a necessity for me as an artist. I just hope that others will love the album as much as I loved working on it".

This really is a personal affair for Maya who produced, engineered and mixed the album at her modest home studio; playing every instrument and creating every sound including taking on vocal duties on tracks like the lo-fi "Stranger" and the hypnotic "Dreamer". Keeping things even more personal, Maya also created the album's artwork.

The album is reflective of Maya's broader musical influences both in and outside the electronic world with Comfort having hints and shades of many genres from house, R&B and hip hop through to dub, indie and techno.

'Buster Crabbe & Buck Rogers' is an insperational interpretation of heros of
the 25th century. Buster Crabbe, is also known as the legendary Flash
Gordon, who represents the science-fiction hero Buck Rogers. Buck fights a
number of villains from the mars and the outer space and we get a musical
insight in the task of Buck Rogers. The piece is dominated by the piano and
a thrilling bass line similar to the fight with his arch-rival Killer Kane.
We hope the good will win against the intented world domination of Killer

Welcome Nr.2! Tiefenherz freut sich mit dem Erfurter Urgestein Sven U.K.
seine erlesene Reihe an House Releases fortzuführen. Wir erhalten einen
Einblick in das demnächst erscheinende Album von Sven, welcher sich seit dem
Jahre 2011 unter R:eboerk einen Namen gemacht hat.

'Save the Thrill' ist die Ansage! Nervenkitzel pur im Arrangement - korrekt
platzierte Bläser werden getragen von ausgefeilten Percussions und ergänzt
von fordernden Vocals. Schöner druckvoller House mit leicht detroitigen
Einflüssen und gekonnt komplettiert von Piano Riffs.

'Buster Crabbe & Buck Rogers' ist die Inspiration für die Interpretation des
Superhelden im 25.Jahrhundert. Buster Crabbe, welcher sich auch als
Darsteller des legendären Flash Gordon einen Namen machte, verkörpert die
Person des Science-Fiction Helden Buck Rogers. Buck ist im Kampf gegen die
Tigermenschen vom Mars und allerlei Bösewichte aus dem Weltraum schwer
vereinnahmt und wir bekommen einen musikalischen Einblick in die Aufgaben
Buck Roger's. Das Stück wird dominiert von einer Piano Hook und einer
durchdringenden Bassline die sich unaufhörlich in die Magengrube gräbt,
ähnlich wie ein Handgemenge was Buck Rogers mit seinem Erzrivalen Killer
Kane ausfechtet. Wir hoffen das Gute siegt gegen die angestrebte
Weltherrschaft von Killer Kane...

Argy returns to Memento after remixing Italys' house stars Pastaboys, this time teaming up with one of the country's hottest and internationally renowned producers, Alex Picone.

The two of them have released on some of the most revered contemporary record labels: from Cocoon to Cadenza, from Defected to Poker Flat, from Ibadan to Bosconi Records, the list goes on.

Their two-tracker opens with 'Eternal Moment': after an epic old-school synth intro, the booming kick drum leads the way to a galloping acid rumble and to an orgy of claps and hi hats, until the vicious vocal snippets welcome the uplifting and joyous melody.

'This Is How It Goes' follows the same path with sick percussions and hi hat's frenzy, while the bass line and the synth play along harmonically. Sudden breaks give a sense of suspended groove, cleverly designed to bring the rhythm back soon after in a burst of energy.

The guys here are showing their impressive skills in crafting this ambitious ep: after just one listen, it's clear how these tunes stand out from the ordinary mess it's more and more likely to find in the market today. With a hint to house music's history and legacy, they have reworked the genre's distinctive features, making them as fresh and cutting edge as they haven't been in a long time.

RON TRENT is back with a dance floor groove with vocals by the man himself. This steady groove is for those who still like to bust a sweat on the dance floor and still look cool. B-side is more of the same but RON takes it a step further with a piano laying down textures that will take you away. HOUSE

For the label's 14th release, Memento welcomes the collaboration of Italy's finest house enthusiasts Pastaboys, who bring their love of dance music's black roots and afro-american soul sounds, combined with an exquisite european-influenced sense of rhythm and melodies. "Tresca" evolves around a sweet italo-disco bass that sends the listener back to the 70s: a soundtrack to a sleazy underground movie, with nightmare-ish synth chords in the background. Strong claps and percussion build the tension up to a Donna Summer-esque break, leading the track to an anthemic climax ready to shake the asses of all the party people out there. Argy's remix adds loopy vocal samples while making the bass more muscular and playing with retro-sounding big-room house synths, perfectly matching the spirit of the original cut but at the same time taking it to the next level. A specta cular two-tracker, which stands out as a devoted tribute to the legacy that shaped the history of house and disco music, from turning inspiration into a brilliant and contemporary piece of work.

Building on the momentum of 2013's two excellent split EPs from Andy Ash/Circular Rhythms and Deep Space Orchestra/Bantam Lions, Scenery Records now serves up a full EP from Liverpool's much loved house and techno inventor, John Heckle.

Remixes come from Dekmantel duo Ksoul & Muteoscillator and MOS alumnus Perseus Traxx.

Having previously remixed twice on the label, Heckle has also turned out full lengths for Chicago's Mathematics and more recently for Tabernacle, as well as popping up with dense, gauzy and hugely textured EP affairs on labels like MOS and Crème Organization.

Up first is the oh so lively 'Laid Away' which has myriad synth lines all squiggling about above jacking, rough edges house beats. Some of them squeal, some of them are smooth and serene and overall the result is a multi-layered track that fires every synapse in your body.

The Perseus Traxx remix of the same track ups the acid ante, smoothes out some of the edges but retains that classic Chicago feel that defines much of his work, whilst Ksoul & Muteoscillator strip everything back to buried deep drums, gentle clattering percussion and a seriously ponderous synth line. It's moody and desolate yet hugely inviting.

'DDT' is a much deeper and murkier affair. Everything comes coated in layers of dirt and dust, be it the sporadic cowbell ping, the scraping percussive smears or the frenzied synth lines. Frankly, the hi hats are so sharp edged you feel they might cut you and the blasts of white noise add yet more layers of intrigue.

There's a rough and raw DIY feel to this music that makes it jump out of the speakers and arrest your attention, as is always the case with Heckle's work.

After a successful year for both Big Strick and Generation Next, they come with the CD album titled 'Like Father Like Son'. Four months after they collaborated on the 'Like Father Like Son' EP , this 10-track masterpiece shows off skills from two eras of dance music on one platform with an array of styles and versatility.

Shenoda steps up to the plate for ManMakeMusic's final offering of 2013.

Having already caught the attention of Matthew Dear, Mattias Tanzamann, Skream and Martyn for with his earlier outings on Defected, Hypercolour and Losing Suki, Shenoda gives us a superb 3 tracker of hefty, garage-infused house.

The EP shows Shenoda's musical gifts alongside first-rate production skills and we predict that it will have many a winter dance shaking to the rafters

Just a year after starting and the irrepressible R-Zone series is up to release number 9. Again this time there is no real word on who is behind the music, but again it is fierce, searing techno for darkened dancefloors. The barrelling, stomping 'Down You Go' opens this EP with blocky metal beats, spares synth lines which bleed in and out of focus and plenty of rattling percussion. 'Give Me More' goes a little slower and deeper, with rubbery kick drums forming the base of the track as molten and melted acid gurgles percolate up through the mix. On the flipside, 'Too Much TV' is a more elastic groove that undulates up and down with short little acid stabs buried deep within as the bass drops in and out. Supple and propulsive, it's arresting stuff that gets completed with final track 'VHC Beats'. Whichever producers are behind the R-Zone series always manages to come up with the goods, so if you like fizzing, textured techno that pulls no punches, this remains the series for you.

Fresh off of his Son Of Sound releases on Mike Simonetti's New Jersey Records and Basement Floor, Henry Maldonado continues to produce tracks that are true to the New York underground he remembers while producing for a young Strictly Rhythm in 1991.

Delivered here is a debut EP as Son Of Sound on his brand new District 30 imprint. A vinyl exclusive sliced 3-ways in the form of hardware-sampler style looping, Shelter-eque soulful Tech-House and a perfectly unpolished aesthetic revived by the likes of Theo Parrish, Ricardo Miranda and Omar S.

You Brought This On Yourself features 2 mixes (versions here). Version 1 is sure to be regarded as an edit, although the idea actually draws on early sample-based looping tracks such as Pal Joey's Earth People. Intricately chopped samples combine to create unique loops and vocal stabs to deliver the Disco treatment. Version 2 is an underground House stomper with a bumped up tempo. Its driving staccato baseline accentuates the groove and drives the entire theme, working its way nicely into the big room.

Lookie Heeyaa rounds things off nicely with more SP1200 hip-hop style sample chopping. Reminiscent of Maldonado's early House 2 House productions, dirty drums and creatively placed samples come together to create a groove that hypnotizes and moves you all at once.

Geena's Second offer on Parisian Imprint Antinote. 3 introspective house tracks on A side and 3 versions of the same track on B side. This one will stay in your DJ bag for a while for sure.
