Following a series of VA EPs, Broken District releases its first mini LP: “South Side” by Sofatalk. The collaboration between the label and the Italian artist feels natural, as they share a mutual vision of music, a nifty blend of jazz and soul-influenced electronic music landscape.

Throughout the 6 tracks of “South Side”, SofaTalk explores and twists jazz, broken beat, house music and funk, resulting in the most accomplished work to date for the producer, but also for the label.

Deep Inspiration Show Records presents a new series
showcase of international Deep House connoisseurs, The
Various Artist "Global Essence Sampler” Aptly named, each
composition on "Global Essence" reects a distinct mood of
Deep House, bringing both authentic avor & variety to your
musical menus. First up is A1 - Precious Path performed by
Allstarr Motomusic (Spain, Greece, Switzerland) aka Dan Piu;
a rare yet always top quality project, with appearances on
Deep Explorer, deepArtsounds, and Soul Print. Precious Path
opens the record with a groovy statement into smooth
Garage House seasoned with a little Deep Techno
personality. Next, is Spain’s maestro Barcé (Moto Music, HC
Records), making his 2nd appearance on DISR with A2 -
Clean That Shit. Of course it’s clean, deep electronic House
and it vibes like a nice summer cocktail at night with lime
and ice. Rounding out the rst side is A3 - Zahara, composed
by Zarenzeit; a more organic project side from Zürich's Dan
Piu that can go between 80s funk to House and Jazzy Soul
seamlessly. In Zahara we experience the ambient, and early
morning sun vibes that are meant to set moods not genres.
On the ip we welcome Japanese producer Jank (Boogie
Cafe Records, Quintessentials) to DISR with B1 - What
Becomes Of. This Classy composition is Chilled out,
perfectly minimal, with sensual vocal samples, and easy on
the ears; the DJ who plays this at prime time will denitely
get plenty of cheers. Representing Croatia and South Africa
as well as closing out the record is; Jan Kincl (Cycle Records,
BBE) featuring Ishfaq & Wolford Heifer with B2 - 3300 Gratiot
Ave. Its a classic late night and smoky type of House affair
with an almost bluesy vintage feel that is sure to appeal to
listeners that know the real deal. With mastering from Sven
Weisemann, perhaps this compilation has the compositions
you've been missing?

Genuine, warm, almost primal house music to celebrate the first release of Time To Play Records, a label founded by Filippo Tazzer on the wave of the ten-year Vicenza party dedicated mainly to black music. The debut of the label bears the signature of Reekee, Emilian producer founder of Wrong Notes Records and globally recognized for the releases on Uzuri Rec. And the prestigious collaborations with artists such as Kai Alcé, Erik Rico, Patrice Scott and Alex Attias .Side A opens with “Don’t look back”, which will then also be the title of the ep, in which you breathe the air of Detroit for the construction of a powerful and hypnotic rhythm, embellished with refined piano turns. Then follows Butterfly, who blends the intense bond between Reekee’s exquisitely house background and his passion for jazz, which is touched with light keyboard virtuosity.On the B-side, Reekee “completes his work with Wanna be Away” by flirting with his Drum machine to reach the territories of the broken beat. The ep is completed by a remix of Don’t look back signed by Colosimo (it will be his second release of Time to Play records), capable of essentially working on the drums of the song and giving it an acid touch perfect for the most energetic tracks.

Following up some big recent tunes on Noire & Blanche and Scruniversal Tunes, Juravlove is back with more party starting and sample-heavy jams. These are DJ and dancer-friendly tunes suited to a range of settings. First up classic vocal samples define the fresh beats of 'Eleonora' then 'Crystal Cave' is all silky disco loops and 'Stoner Doner' slips into a sunset vibe for beach parties and open-air dancing. There is more of heady feel to the deep house grooves of 'Warm Gate' while 'Tap Water' goes for the peak time and the EP highlight comes at the end with 'Grand Delux'.

New Digital Fidelity has been making sweet moves recently with a debut on the lauded Moods & Grovers label out of Detroit followed up by a single on his own Scopic Records. Now he brings his class to Beachside and again shows off his love of Detroit house vibes. Opener 'Crush On The Beachside' is raw and intense with humid chords and jacked-up drums, then 'Shattered' brings more loose and jumbled beatdown grooves and 'Crush On The Beachside' (K15 remix) is then bubbly, jazzy and cuddly. 'Cracking' rounds out with more rich chord work and bristling drum funk.

Sole Aspect's fifth release brings together some of deep house's finest with some stylish grooves designed for the club. Chicago's VickLavender goes first and brings all 20 years of experience to his gorgeous 'Stratosphere'. Miami-based Electric Pickle resident Puma then offers pad-laced deep house daydream 'Defining Moments' which has a nice sombre feel, and hugely consistent Melchior Sultana then lays down more of his sunset sounds with shuffling drums and melted pads on 'Arcade'. The fast-rising, Brawther-tipped Daniel Chavez then shut down with 'FM Freeez' which is classic Detroit house with a late-night twist.

Rotterdam rising star Danou P steps up to Jamie 3:26’s label with a three-track EP of emotive deep house.

The title track ‘Allez Hoop’ is deep, moody and somewhat reminiscent of an electronic ‘Riders On The Storm’. Lush strings, analogue leads, classic Rhodes and a barely containable synth sequence stacked on top of a driving groove.

‘Jazz Dummy’ sees Danou P collaborate with fellow Rotterdam based artist Kems Kriol. It’s a classic sounding track drenched in live percussion and that good old M1 saxophone.

Closing out the EP ‘So Fruit’ is an homage and inside joke gone wrong in a good way. Funky electric piano stabs and rhythmic synths in a sandwich of punchy drums and thick bass. It pays tribute to an absolute classic track and features an epic flute solo by Moises Toscano Fuentes.

Perth-based artist hub 823, led by the extraordinary producer / creator Ta-ku joins forces with Berlin's Jakarta Records for the release of Godblesscomputers's fourth full-length LP, "Faded Views." The LP melds bright electronic flourishes with laidback synth-driven backdrops, weaving tapestries of mellow folktronica and groovy jazz harmony with continuous sonic intrigue that will keep you grooving into a tropical disposition. Paying homage to his musical moniker, the Bologna-based producer makes timely metallic interjections amidst lush, effortlessly groovy soundscapes. Explore a world of found, recycled, and synthesized sound on "Faded Views" out everywhere September 8.

Bologna-based producer, DJ, and sound collector Godblesscomputers (122k Spotify listeners) has returned with the release of his fourth full-length record, "Faded Views." Godblesscomputers's latest LP "The Island" (2020, La Tempesta Dischi) earned him placement on Spotify playlists like "Brain Flood" and "Coffee Club." Since then, his appearance on Willie Peyote's track "La colpa al vento" landed GBC on "Best of Indie Italia 2022." On "Faded Views," it was Godblesscomputers's creative project to explore the sonic potentials of his direct environment, picking up recordings and threads of inspiration from the most commonplace occurrences. A sonic scavenger, Godblesscomputers explored the expanses of his-both digital and physical-soundscapes. "Faded Views" does the work of crafting a unified, yet complex compilation of the noises that mark the experience of being digital natives in ever-expanding dimensions.

Godblesscomputers's use of musique concrète and found-sound composition melds curiously with his undeniable electronic and techno acumen. Superimposing metallic electronica onto esoteric sound bytes creates the occasion for complex sound collage. "Faded Views" marks a decade since the genesis of the Godblesscomputers project; the entire LP testifies to how time warps perception and sound. Godblesscomputers's music seems to decorate time, both commemorating the moments passed with mind-melting sonic collages and looking forward to the infinitudes of the future with frenetic electronic experimentation.

Themes of impermanence and transience-hence "Faded Views"-pervade the record. Godblesscomputers blurs time as each track seeps into the next in what feels like a seamless transition. He makes these swift passages in genre as well-the record opens on "Colors" with a rich horn section which frictionlessly becomes a lo-fi dance groove. It is this melding of the analog and the electronic that makes sense of his found approach to beat-making: Godblesscomputers marries the found and the synthesized; the creator and the created; the past and the future. The process of sonic dissection and recomposition that drives much of Godblesscomputers's creative process yields not only assertive breakdowns and animated dance tracks, but also complex tapestries of sound that keep the listener ever-intrigued-piano, saxophone, and modular synthesis all find a natural home on tracks like "Hello." In an apt description, the producer's work has been described as "sounding like wood, metal, and microchip."

Godblesscomputers's artistic objective lies in blurring definitive lines, constantly shifting perspectives, genres, and origins of inspiration. On "Faded Views," this design cultivates a folktronica record that truly evades definition.

Feelgood lead single "Mirrors" is out June 30th and features a rich meld of warbling layers, mixing upbeat dance music with complex instrumentation. Stream second single, "Above the Lake," for a mellow summer cut on July 21. Finally, the effortlessly groovy third single "You Feel Me" captures a genre-warping foray into folktronica. All LP artwork and stunning single visualizers were single-handedly put together by multi-disciplinary designer Michael Norman. Rainbow Disco Club and Rush Hour, a long-standing friendship that transcends continents! House, disco, new wave, Caribbean, rare groove, leftfield.. Antal compiles the second release on "Beyond Space And Time", loaded with personal choice cuts.

Internationally recognised and much-loved festival from Japan, Rainbow Disco Club’s offshoot project "Beyond Space And Time" record label presents their sophomore release! Following the work by DJ Nobu, their second compilation has been compiled by none other than Antal. Also known as the festival's headliner and the man behind Amsterdam record shop/label Rush Hour, all 11 tracks are selected by Antal in a 2 x 12-inch + bonus 7-inch format. From local Dutch newcomers to '80s Japanese cult music, rare grooves to danceable house music, and rare Caribbean soul, this compilation is a portrait of music enthusiast Antal Heitlager’s enormous collection and 30-year DJ career, a work of art that can be enjoyed by all music fans!

An afro electronics track recommended by South African collector DJ Okapi, who co-produced the masterpiece compilation "Pantsula!: Rise Of Electronic Dance Music In South Africa: 1988-90" released in 2017, which brought Kwaito back onto the map. A-1

80s Silky Mellow Soul by Connecticut jazz vocalist Dianne Mower who also contributed to the re-press of the prestigious Numero Group. D-1

The original version is a masterpiece from 1983 by Zouk singer Jocelyn Mocka of French Guadeloupe. This edit still very much emphasizes an emotional mid-tempo Caribbean soul, nicely reconstructed by Rush Hour's Bonnefooi. D-2

Remastered! Another classic by highpriest Larry Heard. Three tracks that prove again the mans genius and unparalleled talent in squeezing true emotions and funk out of his machines and lift you into a state of euphoria. The a-side holds a long, midtempo 80s electrofunk groove with beautiful richly textures synth melodies. Flip over for a slightly rawer Fingers style workout with highly emotive strings and a perfect end of the night tune with a gorgeous piano solo showing heard's strong roots in jazz. Music from a different stratosphere - a record to treasure!

Plastik People Recordings label keeps up its good momentum with another feel-good EP of classically inclined house music for cosy floors and emotional crowds. 'Keep Me Satisfied' is a superb opener with effortlessly cool and deep house grooves and sweet vocals from Reda. 'The Way I Live' gets even more steamy and deep with jazzy chords and another lung-busting vocal to really make sure the party kicks off. 'Passion Rhythms' features Janelle on the vocals and builds another sweaty but sensuous vibe and 'Can You Understand My Groove' is a clean, effective weapon to close.

Ibiza legend and all round well respected industry man Chris Coco is back with more of his seaside sounds. This time his Mediterranean magic is cast over 'La Guitarra' which as the title hints has Flamenco style acoustics with tropical house drums and heartfelt synths. There is a pair backed and delicious dub also, and then modern disco don Rune Lindbaek comes through with a mesmeric take that is laidback and lush in its design. Last of all is Daniel Braca with a Deep In Brooklyn remix thing brings some fine Latin house styles.

The backstory to this one is great and goes something like this: Darryl Baalki is a reclusive person who grew up with his mother and his father's record collection.

That was his only connection to the outside world and he somehow thought it was all the music ever recorded so for him to make something new he had to combine parts from it together. Whether true or not, his Last Night I Dreamt About The Sun EP on Deeppa is sublime.

It's deep house with serious jazzy chops, sultry sax lines, spiritual vocal whispers, feathery drums and percussion that ooze soul and timeless musical class.

Leeds-based Frenchman Brawther, who is also one-half of Dungeon Meat for more raw grooves, shows off his mastery of deep house on this fresh new EP for B2 Recordings. 'Sundials' (feat Nathan Haines) immediately soothes the soul with its lunging chords and seductive sax lines. Occasional female coos add further lushness to this most heartwarming of tunes. 'Second Nature' has a little more height and drive to it but again the drums are warm and fuzzy, the chords smeared in artful ways and the overall vibe utterly heady. Last of all is the bubbly and dubby 'Gotta Let It Go' with its bottomless depths and chords that melt off into an infinite horizon. Gorgeous stuff from this always quality artist.

Francesco Panettone comes along with a new EP and a new
label with the name "Meschúgn". The tracks are jazzy, funky
and housey. Beatmaker Brous One joins in for a dope remix.

Heidy P is a long time associate of the Rocksteady Disco crew and now she treats them to her first ever solo release in the form of Elevate. It is, as you'd expect of her, a house record through and through, but one packed with plenty of her own charm and personality. Opener 'Elevate' is a classy and jazz-tinged, Latin-styled groove that will electrify any floor. Next is the hugely emotive, soulful and gospel drenched 'Help Me Find My Way' with uplifting vocals from Seta. Pontchartrain then steps up to remix 'Help Me Find My Way' into something deeper and Carry Nation close out with a more freaked out sound.

Tommy Largo is a big deal in the world of jacking house and here he lands on Greenhouse Recordings with plenty of evidence to support that. His sound comes steeped with Southern influences on opener 'BBQ Ribs' with its noodling jazz chords and spoken word mutterings making for a lively atmosphere over funky beats. The Jam Funk Remix has a Chicago bump to it with the jazzy keys left in place over well-swung drums. 'On No Not Again' hints at new jack swing with its steamy sax lines and effortlessly catchy groove before 'BBQ Ribs' (Oddphonic remix) closes out with the deepest sound of the lot, perfect for when the sun has gone down and the party heads indoors.

Kalabrese still manages to produce timeless music. While working on his next album he deals with everyday occurrences which he self reflects and reinterprets. Kalabrese delivers an EP full of groove, rumpel and message.

The established heavy hitting outfit, Nicepeople, kick things off for 2022 in true style. Dropping early next year is their latest slice of house heaven, the package comes in the shape of three originals from Gourment De Funk, and a nostalgic 'Chicago Boogie' trip with the legendary Roy Davis Jr. Sounds good already, right?

Title track 'A Love Supreme' initiates proceedings on the A side, slick percussion teases you into a journey of funk bliss, warm and infectious bass taking you on a cruise, with feel good strings all working in sweet harmony to make this a must have record. On a more driven tip is 'The Way You Move' another animated groove experience, and boasts some smooth sax action for the fans amongst us.

Roy Davis Jr’s 'Chicago Boogie' remix of 'The Way You Move' is an upbeat number for the peak time dance floors out there. The irresistible bass totally takes over your movements, you can not help but to move to a track like this, the veteran producer certainly not letting us down with this one, fitting the ethos of the label, and yet crammed with the signature sound we have all come to adore from Roy over the years. Closing off the EP is the 'Never Lost (GDF Morning Dub)' seductive deep house for the early morning dancers, crisp hi-hats brushing by as you feel yourself swallowed up into the clouds, one for the dreamers.

Nicepeople never seem to take the pedal off the gas, consistently pushing their brand and propelling top shelf house music from an array of inspiring producers of old and new, and they begin next year exactly as they mean to go on.

The first release of Eclectic Beats Music is from Portuguese artist and record label owner Fradinho! On ‘A Bright Future’, he blends a syncopated beat structure with an overall jazzy soulful funky groove
with Latin and Brasilian percussion, an engaging bass line and cosmic synth licks. Along with the original there are 5 remixes from the likes of the established Afronaut (Bugz In The Attic) that also features Mark de Clive-Lowe on keys, a wonderful Karmasound House remix, a Born74 Boogie Beat Mix, a Bruk Roller Mix from up and coming Mancunian producer Szajna and a darker, heavier and
dirtier UK Garage approach by Porto based LSK.
