Mallorca's pride and joy Kiko Navarro has delivered soulful inspired dance music like forever. When he's not producing big tunes for the big house labels he also finds time to rework some of his favourite classics dance anthems. On his debut for GAMM we get served a massive rework of a George Benson classic as well as a balearic house re-touch on one of our fave tunes from Pat Metheny. It don't get much better than this!

For it's Clone debut Lany Recordings presents an E.P. with various shades of house music from the Ape Office stable in Dortmund.

Following smash hit Blackdisco Vol 1, Lovefingers & Nitedog bring you Blackdisco Vol 2 - "The Douglas Sound EP." Long time contributor to the Blackdisco sound and parties, Lee Douglas is Brooklyn's own golden child of disco, releasing original material on Rong Music and remixing for DFA.

Melodic, brazillian classic samba disco style. Cool, catchy vocal riff adds to the flavour.

Deeper feel, slow groove with a cool bass line. Rio label goes to a Super Value funk style on this one!!

Another big brazillian classic edit, oozes samba style. A really smooth guitar and latin style percussion adds the rhythm.

Horns, guitar riff, awesome bass line, bongos and shimmering synth push this track. The vocal is infectious, a fun track.

SIDE A2 - 'Once I Begin'
Disco magic! A real glittery track, super bass and wah-wah guitar.

SIDE B1 - 'Someday We'll All Be Free'
Growling bass and nice vocal, much deeper than the A side tracks. Beautiful percussive elements in the beat bring this track to life!

SIDE B2 - 'Still'
DEEP bass line that has a really strong groove. Classic disco synths. This track has a really jazzy feel thanks to the keys. Bongos help it groove even more, with vocals giving a hypnotic edge!

Raw afro beat style to this track, gorgeous horns. One for East London Afro-Heads!

Limited edition 12 - 'I'll Take Care Of U' is the second track to be taken from the remix album "We're New Here", Jamie xx's reworking of 13 tracks from the Gil Scott-Heron "I'm New Here" sessions. Jamie XX provides another astonishing remix as Ill Take Care Of You drives off with an LCD Soundsystem-esque beat surrounding Herons gruff vocals.

The Spatial Disco series continues with the best of the library albums "Cosmosynthetic", "Percussions Modernes" and "Automation" from the legendary TELE MUSIC label. After the hype about the cult disco album "Arpadys" Sauveur Mallia needs no introduction. Volume 2 focuses on his electronic productions from 1981 to 1984.

Argentinean born artist Alejandro L. Ross aka Rudolf aka Perro Magnetico is a pioneer in the Mean Records family. W/label re-press of the 1981 classic 'Happy Days', a flawless blend of boogie and proto house from Northend (a studio project consisting of Tony Carbone, Russell Presto and Arthur Baker) which was rumoured to be an inspiration source to Madonna's Holiday, also includes mix from Tee Scott

The new Discofil 12' comes from Rune Lindbaek, a man who really doesn't need a presentation - his producing and DJ credentials really speaks for himself. As with the Kool DJ Dust release, I've asked Rune to compile some of his favourite oddities, presented on this 5 track Norwegian kiss of an EP.
