Kiwi producer Raw Sugar returns to the Gazeebo imprint with the Disco Land EP, following his debut Women Of The Ghetto 12" from earlier this year. The title track is sprawled across the A-Side, with the most languid of tempos allowing all manner of bells and effects to swirl in and around the lolloping beats in a hazy fashion. The end result is damn near hypnotizing. This shares a side of wax with the decidedly more uptempo "I Wanna Give You My Love", which boasts some burning late night chord stabs, cleverly arranged vocal grunts and a slinky bass line. Flip over for a chunky remix from Mr Gazeebo himself, who turns "Disco Land" into a near nine minute funk-fuelled odyssey!

Very strong release with the boogie / slomo-house groover 'Hope' and the irresistable hook and dub/disco feel of the more uptempo 'No Delay'. Excellent production, this will stir up things for sure.

For his discographic debut Degustibus has chooses to release Gin Sonic, a tune made by Rubini, an italian artist workin and livin between Venice and Berlin.
Gin Sonic is a classy old-school track, made in Berlin but dreamed in a synthy-outerspace. Circular bassline swim in a invincible funky-beat and crush against a wall of synth providing you a sure dancefloor-filler.
In addition they commissioned a remix from Berlin-legend DJ Filippo "Naughty" Moscatello. He made 2 versions, impossible to choose the better they included both in the release.
Remix 1 is a dubby-hypno ride with a moroder-like dizzy bassline.

Limited reissue of this ultra-rare Loft classic from 1979. Though Edgar Winter was an artist more known for his jazz, blues and rock work, a collaboration with Ne w York's disco uber-producer Tom Moulton produced this stunning result. As well as being championed by David Mancuso at his legendary Loft parties this was picked up by Italy's Cosmic scene and for good reason - the instrumental particularly is a disco masterclass with rough chunky basslines, super-funky timbales, wicked choppy guitar riffs, crazy synthesizers and of course the unforgettable 'woo's all in the mix creating pure dancefloor mayhem. Don't sleep!

Cosmic Boogie and Andy Ash bring you a second Boogie Originals EP, featuring new cuts from themselves, plus remixes from Toby Tobias and Soul Renegades.

First up is Cosmic Boogie's 'Feel It', a midtempo piano house track that rolls on the back of delicious disco percussion and a distinctly old skool vocal sample. Toby Tobias remixes, infusing the original's rolling groove with a darker vibe and a touch of space disco.

Quality UK Deep House label started by the Inland Knights.

After years of beans on toast, spending any spare pennies on vinyl, lugging sound systems around fields and clubs and playing free parties, the brainchildren behind Inland Knights thought it might be time to cash in. The recipe was simple and Drop Music was born.

Hailing from the hub of the Midlands region, Inland Knights were not only an established entity in their own right, their off-spin aliases including Toka Project, Larry Fives, Party Criminals, In House Alterations and Big Audio Spidermite caused ears to prick across the globe. They were the creators of a label that promoted to the world The Littlemen and more recently, James Curd and Jay West.

With a catalogue that is embarking into its 74th release, Drop Music is far from relegating its status and has moved to the forefront of house music record labels.

Listening to the latest 12' from Tom Giles, you'd be forgiven that he went to sleep some time in 1983 and was roused from his slumbers, like some Arthurian knight, to save England from its obsession with faux-retro micro-genres. His studio, hidden out in the wilds of Hackney Wick, is certainly worthy of a disco Rip Van Winkle - it's stacked to the rafters with enough vintage kit to make any decent producer want to go straight home and start listing their internal organs on eBay.

Blockhead has been bringing you releases featuring tech, deep-tech, jackin, soulful, and all around funky music lately and this ep is another stellar addition to the label.

We would like to introduce you to our newest member of the Blockhead family "4Beat Club" & "Jem Cooke." Jem is well established pop singer out of the UK who has the voice of an angel and the tour schedule to prove it! She normally doesn't sing over house tracks but has made an exception for this release and we are extremely grateful.

The title track "Noizz" is a pretty funky house track with a little added noizz. Perfect to play in a deep or funky house set.

We have also enlisted "Hits & Kicks" who turn in a wicked remix! Somewhat jackin, somewhat techy, somewhat soulful, but all around good. For those of you that don't dig on vocals, we have got you covered with a dub mix.

We also have a nice little tech house number in "Berliner Behaviour." Berliner Behavior "has something that will mellow you out man" with its dark, rolling bass-line while our buddies Cheech and Chong talk you through your trip. Dope (on many levels).

Once again, we are stoked about this releases' diversity and overall versatility. A little extra funk for your dj tool-belt which should appeal to all types of house heads and served up on one ep. Enjoy!

First vinyl release on Joyfull Family Records for Mr Albert Marzinotto, a young rising producer from Verona, North of Italy, and who probably will go very far. Dance floor oriented with a certain melodic touch, "Something is goin' to happen" is a pure house track with a solid rhythmic construction and vocals by Silvia Smaniotto, chorister of the rock star Elisa.
