Jackie Brown is proud to have Italian jazz wizard Marcello Claudio Cassanelli on board. Marcello a jazz pianist, with master degree in jazz music at the G.B. Martini Conservatory, had a successful and well know contemporary jazz album « Overtour » from 2018, for which was well received from both audience and critics, such as Jazzit magazine.

Marcello, along with Antonio Rapa on drums and Blake C.S. Franchetto on the bass, recorded a jazz-funk EP for Jackie Brown, with strong influences of house and disco music. It's a five track EP, with A side tracks « Welcome » and « Shark » sound like IDs from Theo Parish funk and disco sets. B side holds three tracks, with slower tempo, but with swing and groove perfect for sunset chill.

Cardiology have already set themselves apart from the disco edit pack with their excellent previous entries, and now their fourth installment continues in fine style with another batch of smartly selected edits. You can't go far wrong when dealing with Mad Dog Fire Department's insanely funky "Cosmic Funk", which they nudge a little closer to the house side of the dance music spectrum without losing the original's killer groove. Next up is "Ms Brown", which is equally slick and bumping. Then on the flip things get smouldering with the gorgeous "We Do It" - one for contemplative wind-down moments rather than the peak of the night. "Fresh Groove" completes the set with a heavy-rolling instrumental cut to take you deep into the heart of the dance.

In late 2015, Luca's debut 'Situations' first saw the light of day on Feines Tier. The EP was a whimsical fusion of his Hip-Hop roots with electric rhythms and mesmerizing boogie. Now, with his forthcoming third solo record 'Proper Preaching', he comes full circle.

Musto returns with a blend of handmade instrumental sound by his fellow musicians and that special dash of his notorious intricate groove. The record takes the listeners on a spiritual ride of revelations and hidden messages. Simultaneously, the four tracks deal with philosophical issues by telling stories of morality in 'Lucy's Intension,' the ambitions in 'State of Grind' and 'Lie To Me,' and finally faith in 'Proper Preaching.'

All of this is merged together by the use of samples as well as Luca's own recordings of words and atmospheres. Finally, the bigger picture is revealed, fueled by the eloquent subtext and the memory of the ones he lost.

Long time friend of the label, Neue Grafik, steps forth with his most fully realised offering to date. This record has been a long time coming, born out of a encounter in Paris back in 2016. This meeting of minds led to a blossoming friendship between Fred ( Neue Grafik) and Bradley ( RS INTL) which has taken them across 3 continents, countless dance-floors and finally crystallised onto this 12'.

The record itself takes cues from the broken-beat sound of London while paying homage to the Parisian house dance scene. Largely sample based, but also employing much more live instrumentation than ever before, Neue Grafik's music is informed by movement and in turn offers so much for Dancers to respond to.

The EP begins with the lysergic ebbs and flows of 'Innervision', ( in which Wayne Snow graces the record with a sublime vocal performance) and moves effortlessly to the uplifting bruk of 'Dance to Yemanja' via the staccato of ' to Peckham Rye'( a homage to the labels origins) , before finishing on the hauntingly melancholic tones of 'Aulnay's Tears' - an homage to the victim's of police brutality in the Parisian Suburb in 2017.

As he celebrates the 10th anniversary of his iconic single "Baby I'm Yours", Ed Banger Records household name Breakbot returns with a new EP "Be Mine Tonight", in which French DJ and electronic music composer combines once again his talent and the soft voice of Capucine Delafleur. The instrumental version is currently used to score a worldwide Chanel eyewear campaign starring Pharrell Williams, Sebastien Tellier, Angele and many others. The EP be made available only as a red translucent limited vinyl edition.

The unstoppable Most Excellent Unlimited charges ahead with the ninth in the heralded Mr. K 45s Edits series, with this latest edition the most intriguing to date. Deep in Danny Krivit's voluminous collection is a 7-inch acetate rescued from the records left behind by master mixer and DJ Walter Gibbons when he passed away in 1994. The mysterious plate, simply labeled '1, 2, 3,' was custom cut by Gibbons for his personal use in the early '70s when he and a partner operated a service called Melting Pot Sounds that provided one-off copies of otherwise unobtainable imports for NYC disc jocks. Most of the 20-odd known releases on Melting Pot Sounds have been identified, but the true provenance of '1, 2, 3' has remained elusive. The tune is a screaming, instrumental disco delight, with aggressive clavinet riffing broken up periodically by raunchy sax. For this Most Excellent Unlimited issue, Mr. K meticulously transferred his unique Gibbons acetate and further intensified the already propulsive track with a few choice edits of his own.


Not to be outdone, the flip side focuses on a ferocious percussion break that has previously only been available on a very poor quality 12-inch single. 'Sweet Summer Suite' by Love Unlimited Orchestra has long been noted for its intro, a concoction of conga, cowbell, cuica and cabasa that drives dancers wild with its relentless, intense groove underpinned by a booming bass slide. Making its 7-inch debut here, the groove has been extended and teased as only a master could do, complimenting the A-side and creating a powerful DJ weapon.


As always, this Most Excellent Unlimited single has been mastered and pressed to the highest standards with loud DJ usage in mind, and will be available in extremely limited quantities.

Delia Renee - You're Gonna Want Me Back (Joey Negro Disco Blend):
"You’re Gonna Want Me Back” was an all but forgotten early 80s obscurity only known to hardcore vinyl collectors. Joey Negro has got hold of the original multi and has transformed what was already a very strong song into an end of the night anthem. Delia’s vocals are classic power soulful vocal disco diva, whilst JN makes the most of the parts in the fully orchestrated live backing track.

Foreal People - Shake (Dr Packer Re-Shake):
Originally released in 1999 the Joey Negro revamp of GQ’s Chic like “Shake” features David Grant from Brit Funk act Linx on lead vocals. It's back out 20 years later with a fat funky Dr Packer remix, who drops down the bpm and adds a more dubby approach to the arrangement.

The Redemption Mix showcases the full song which harks back to the big vocal records that came out of NY and Chicago in the late 80's/early 90s.

Formerly of France, now based in Brazil, D3 Elements returns with their second instalment of the "Beatz" series, this time with jazz artist, Bruno E, also hailing from Brazil. Bruno, who has been producing and performing since the late 90s, has worked with and remixed the likes of Silhouette Brown and Gilles Peterson, as well as releasing albums in his own right. This limited colour 10" release features three versions of the track Ventos Do Outono, (loosely translated to Autumn Winds). First up is drummer, composer and producer, Pat Van Dyke, taking a break from composing the soundtrack to Jerry Seinfeld's "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee", with a breezy, laid back version of the original. Featuring lush horns and flutes, along with vintage keyboards, the track urges us to "Get Down", while straddling the boundaries of jazz and golden era hip-hop. Still on the A side, it's Bruno's turn, delivering a wonderful broken beat track. Full of beautiful keys, strings and intricate rhythms, this track is reminiscent of the sound championed by Kaidi Tatham and Nu Era. Flip over to the b side, and techno legend, Kirk de Giorgio takes us on a deep, futuristic ride. The track starts off with banging drums and a pulsating bass line, priming us for the cosmic pads and keys to come as the UK producer takes us on a journey to outer space and back. Another quality release from Bryan Hervieu's label, with three diverse versions of the same track, sure to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.

Moton Records Inc raid the archives for 2 specially selected cuts reworked with love by Richard Rogers aka Black Booby.

A twisted chain of events that led to the release of this album could make up the script of a good film. Its main character is Renata Lewandowska - a singer who marked her presence in the seventies but who unfortunately never got to see her album released...until now.
After over 40 years, two independent labels, Astigmatic Records and The Very Polish Cut Outs, join forces to present the singer's debut album titled "Dotyk".

Throughout her career Renata has worked with such artists as Andrzej Trzaskowski, Novi Singers, Bemibem, Alibabki and many more. However, despite such a noble group of collaborators, she did not manage to break through to the mainstream. The music of Renata Lewandowska seems to escape the Polish standards of her time.
The singer's rich, multi-octave vocal was and still is impressive. Although pigeonholed - like many other artists of that time - under the 'Big Beat' label, the artist may be considered one of the few soul singers in Poland.

Regrettably, Renata Lewandowska's work did not find a wider audience in 1970s. Towards the end of the decade she decided to give up her career as she didn't see a future for herself in the music industry of that time, leaving behind only one seven-inch single record 'Dotykiem chcÄ™ dzis poznac wszystko" ("I want to know everything by touch today"). Four decades later, this record turns out to be a rare, precious treat for every Polish vinyl record collector.

This lingering soul ballad became the impulse to track down the singer.
Two independent Polish labels, Astigmatic Records and The Very Polish Cut Outs, were searching for the artist at the same time. Eventually, they decided to jointly release a previously unpublished material found in the Polish Radio archives and arranged into a concept album together with Renata Lewandowska; the story of the singer and the music from this album was written down in the booklet accompanying the LP.

It is summer romance with its beauty, innocence, naivety and fleetingness that remains the leitmotif of "Dotyk" ("Touch").
The beaches, the seaside and forests constitute an integral part of the compositions, while the hot summer days of the 70's seem to be no different than those of the present.
Despite the softness of the main theme, there are also more pressing issues such as feminism ('Kropelka egoizmu') or the degradation of the planet ('Olbrzymi Twoj Cien') present on the album, issues that seem to be more relevant than ever.

"Dotyk" by Renata Lewandowska comprises 9 pieces recorded between 1974 and 1978 in the studios of the Polish Radio. The album came into being as a result of cooperation between The Very Polish Cut Outs and Astigmatic Records. The album will only be available on vinyl.

TS08 is the 3rd EP of the TONE SERIES project and in line with the previous two releases TS09 and TS10. However, its two tracks HAWAIAN JAM and 24 BAR PER DAY present rather refreshing grooves, right on time for the summer.

HAWAIAN JAM makes you feel like in a Jeep, driving around the Hill of Mauï while looking at the best waves. And whereas HAWAIAN JAM follows the rythm of cutting edge and caraibian slide guitars with a touch of reggae, 24 BAR PER DAY unveals jumping drums and druggie pumping sounds surrounded by bitchy voice cuts.

With regard to the artwork, as shown on the cover, each track has its own colour. There is neither a A nor a B-side. The same applies to the record vinyl itself. Each track stands on it own. As a result, HAWAIAN JAM and 24 BAR PER DAY distinguish themselves from each other through their vibes and colours, although they remain in the same spirit.

TONE SERIES was born from the collaboration between Villa's former bouncer (one of the most underground clubs of Berlin) - Wolfram, French music producer, live performer and DJ - David K, and LumièresLaNuit's co-founder and An der Grenze's
founder - Edouard. In summary, TONE SERIES brings together the idea of interdependence between music and design: what colour follows on from music and, in return, which musicality
comes out of colours.

pH 1 released his "Technicolor Vision" cassette album on Help Recordings in 2016, but is also part of the
group Hi Mount along with Central and DJ Sports. The three have released together on Regelbau. The
name pH 1 bear a less than subtle reference to the sound of acid, and his productions definitely reflects
early UK house and break beat with elements of acid jazz. He first crossed paths with Multiplex while
performing a live set in his hometown before Steen Kong was to DJ. The two quickly connected and we
are happy to welcome pH 1 to the Multiplex family.

Born and raised in Aarhus, Denmark but often traveling to UK where he also spent his teens. He started
playing guitar at age eight, but once he'd felt wax on a 1210, saved up for a pair of Technics.

His Lucid EP opens with "Time of Day" a beautiful house production, "Infinite Pressure" presents a deep,
cinematic journey, while "Bonafide Platter" is a playful, acidic tune. Titonton Duvanté delivered the
amazing Futurity EP for Multiplex in 1998 with four funky acid tracks, the perfect candidate to add to pH
1's universe. Titonton has remixed "Make Your Reality" on the B-side and the original mix of that track
gets the final word of the EP.

Triangulating a slinky signal to a square mile off the Swan River, Glowing Pin bring us ‘Pentagon Palette’, a master blast of frequency adjusted house, swamp stomp and chakra charmers from Australian newcomer Jonus Eric.

Though opening brace ‘The Cult’ and ‘Collect’ made first contact back in 2014, a loose connection between Perth and Hamburg hindered progress before ‘Mirrors’, ‘Emulator’ and ‘Waterfall’ walked across the web in 2019 to round out a dope debut release from this house auteur. Specialising in mind altering sound design and melodic flair, Jonus generates a neon swamp on ‘The Cult’, serving up a psychoactive roller caked in radioactive fuzz and insectile fizz. Thick bass swells and circular marimba make for a hypnotic rhythm, while a shapeshifting vocal and moody keyboard riff drag us back towards terra firma. The paradisiac refrain of ‘Collect’ soon sounds out through the jungle with a euphoric haze,

its sub-tickling bass and acid gurgle riding hyperactive drum programming as the track warps in the humidity. Soaked in serotonin and brisk at 137 BPM, ‘Mirrors’ burns off the mist to offer an airy update on the French Touch template. Though frazzled circuitry and dislocated vox serve this one with a twist, the chiming pianos and bouncy beat are still best enjoyed in a Golf GTI in the summertime. Jonus reaches for the lasers via the restless rhythm and rave sirens of ‘Emulator’, a fresh take on the funky house of the late nineties updated with unexpected breaks, squealing feedback and treated vocals usually found on a Four Set banger.

Next it’s off to the chillout room for ‘Waterfalls’, a fourth-world tone poem describing crystal caves, undiscovered wildlife and a holographic waterfall. Ditching the doof, and letting those colours tesselate, Jonus offers a +2 bump to your mana, before the post punk bassline, growling EBM vocal and off key organs of ‘YR Mind’ combine for a confrontational bonus track, only available in digital format.

Our boy Funkyjaws is certainly no stranger to Kolour LTD. His releases with fellow Grodno mate Four Walls were listed as some of the top vinyl releases of 2014. For this round, Funkyjaws comes to us on the solo tip boasting four more slices of that deep, underground house business.

Middle Name Dance Tracks Vol 1 is the second release from Sampology’s new imprint. The Middle Name Dance Tracks project reflects standout live & club nights in Brisbane of recent years, where there has seen a steady cross pollination between the club and soul/jazz communities. The blurred line between these two musical worlds has delivered an array of diverse and joyful events for both artists and avid music fans.

This project is a collaborative creative effort between Sampology, Megan Christensen and Sam Stosuur. The recording process was live in nature with Megan on piano and keys, Sam Stosuur on bass/bass synth and Sampology on MPC drums and programming. Having live conga & timbale from Brisbane based Latin percussion staple Gus Cereiji glues the groove together. These sonic choices were inspired by listening to NYC early 80s disco labels, especially Prelude 12" releases, which balanced drum machine & synths as well as live studio musicians. Vocals on 'Only Joy' were recorded by Kerry Raywood. Vocals for 'Bless' come from Brisbane jazz vocalist Merinda Dias-Jayasinha. The combination of the Middle Name Dance Tracks trio and the additional Brisbane artists offers a specific music palette that’s live in essence, dancefloor in orientation, and magical in delivery.

Rick Holmes’ breath-taking track, ‘Remember To Remember’ gets its first ever officially licensed, remastered reissue on Gold Mink Records. With prices of the original topping £60 this one will be a welcome sight for many.

Title track, ‘Remember To Remember’ is a celestial, emboldening downtempo cut. Beginning with the timeless line, ‘Pass the information, extend the knowledge…’ Rick dives into a spoken word stream of inspirational black artists and key figures whose most memorable words and song titles are framed into snippets of wisdom that get ever more significant the greater in number they become. A powerful monologue, in Rick’s warm reassuring tones, shining a light on those men and women who have made ‘strong contributions to mankind because of their compassion and humanitarianism’, laid over instrumentation you lose yourself in just as easily.

New York vocalist Kosmo Kint joined the Toy Tonics crew. Born in Trinidad and raised in New York City, Kosmo has been part of the recent Brooklyn scene, singing in several projects in NYC before moving to Berlin two years ago. To find like minded people to create new lyrics driven dancemusic.

In Berlin he teamed up with the Toy Tonics boys and now TT boss Kapote and the crew are working with him in Berlin Kreuzberg to find a new R&B & Disco influenced style of electronic dance music.
The first release is a collabo between french talent Mangabey and Kosmo Kint - produced by Kapote.

This two songs have a chilled L.A. G Funk Vibe that makes you think about certain Dr. Dre productions from the 90's combined with some broken beats and 4 to the floor house vibes. The song might remember some french touch tracks too and some might think about that West London early 2000 „Dego“ Vibe maybe. ... Anyway, its new and there is not a name yet for that style. Let’s see where the TT crew will bring Kosmo Kint sonically over the next years.

Kolja Gerstenberg serves up a funky four track lo fi House and Disco EP for Lumberjacks in Hell. The German drummer has previously released on Suol and Smile for a While.

Joe Corti returns to China White with a two track EP featuring heavily supported track "You!" on the b side is "If I Could" a deep house party starter guarenteed to work many floors.

Following a sold-out pressing of his debut EP, ‘A Lifetime On The Hips’, the enigmatic Demi Riquísimo is returning to his in-house imprint, Semi Delicious, ready to pick up where he left off with the aptly titled ‘Mysterious EP’, dropping 3rd May 2019. Returning to the tried-and-tested vinyl-only release formula that saw his first EP lock in huge support from names like Optimo, Rex The Dog, Horse Meat Disco, Theo Kottis, Skream, Loods, Auntie Flo, Simian Mobile Disco and Tensnake, and even a coveted premiere on BBC Radio 1 by Pete Tong himself, the new EP further cements Demi as one of the scene’s most intriguing producers.

Opening with Pa De Chevaux, the chugging Bootsy Collins-style topline bass works in harmony with the vocal sample to create something so deliciously funky that you’ll still be moving long after the track ends. Fans of A Lifetime On The Hips are in for a treat on A2 as Certified revives the former’s stomping 4/4 kick and delivers one of the naughtiest modulated acid-arp basslines to ever grace the dancefloor. Enter lush chords, dreamy vocal sampling and wonderfully pacey hi-hats, and you’ve got one of the EP’s strongest tracks.

On the B-side, the quality doesn’t let up and you’re reminded that each track could easily be the lead.
