MANCHESTER'S FINEST PAPER RECORDINGS WITH A KILLER 2 TRACK FROM MAT PLAYFORD & LEFT MINDED

Three heavyweights of the new Disco era, Greg Wilson, Todd Terje and the 6th Borough Project (Graeme Clark aka The Revenge and Craig Smith), are brought together on one serious slab of crucial vinyl, via GW's Edit The Edit imprint.
Terje's 'Boogie', which appeared in 2007 under his Wade Nichols alias as part of the Mindless Boogie series, is extended and overdubbed, whilst 6BP's 'How Can I Show You', from 2009, gets well and truly worked over for the flipside's 'Drop The Bomb'.

The first Edit The Edit is now a cult classic, having unveiled the epic 'Two Sides Of Sympathy'. The second release has been a long time coming but the wait, I'm sure you'll agree, was well worthwhile now the time has arrived to ignite the night with these two crucial chunks of Disco Funk dynamite.

Sydney music collective S.W.A.T (Soul With A Twist) are set to launch their highly anticipated label with debut 12" and digi release 'Tickle Me Disco' by Disco outfit Flatwound, fresh from dazzling the crowds during the Australian Summer Festival season. Expect Future Boogie, Deep House Grooves and Energetic Nudisco.

For their first releases mighty remixes come from local and International King Pins Jamie Lloyd (Future Classic), Tal M Klein (Aniligital) and Diesler (Tru Thoughts/Freestyle), which are all set on a course for dance floor destruction.

efdemin´s little vinyl imprint naif strikes back with number two feauring two of his favorite producers: juergen junker the most underrated producer, dj and live act from london on one side and efdemin´s long time friend and partner (together as PIGON) rndm, who so far released on DIAL and it´s sub-imprint LAID.

For our 24th release we wanted to go back to our classic Funk Weapons roots, and to do that we bring you Mash & Munkee aka David Hanke & Kolja Starkowski from Germany. They have produced three slices of supreme nu-funk goodness for all you break beat loving freaks. First off we start with 'Work it Out', a full on funk fest of horns, funky bass, and enough cracking break-beats to satisfy the nimblest of b-boys. 'Giving you the Funk' does just that, complete with a jumping live bass-line, building horns and hip hop vocals and groove that eventually builds up to a nice fat synth bass-line that takes the track to the next level. 'Make A Difference' gets all Ron Burgundy on us with some funky flute and smooth blaxplotation style horns and of course another funky bass-line to keep the kids body rocking. Finally we round out the package with Neighbour's remix of 'Make a Difference', who remixes the track in his signature future-boogie style, complete with honking bass-line and smooth chords and injects back in the horns and flute to make the whole thing jam perfect for those late night roller-disco vibes.

Mock & Toof return with the second single from their stunning debut album Tuning Echoes. This double A-side release is a nice reflection of what to expect on the LP as it features contributions from both vocalists Pollyester & Gavin Gordon. The sublime Suppress Your Feelings is on an eco-conscious electro-pop/kraut-rock tip while Shoeshine Boogie does what it says on the tin with some chuggy boogie chops. This release also features the brand new vinyl-only track Live At Alipali which has been picking up enthusiastic support from the likes of Todd Terje, The Revenge, Jacques Renault & Eric D.

Remixes come from disco don Ray Mang & Studios mega talented Dan Lissvik who both deliver fantastic interpretations.

The vinyl EP contains a massive remix by the French sensation JUST A BAND (aka Tom Deluxx & Romain Grenier), a tropical bass version by the rulers of the genre SCHLACHTHOFBRONX (winning success on Disko B and Man Recordings), an electrifying remix by the German wunderkind from Dim Mak DIRTY DISCO YOUTH and another powerful track by Disco Trash Music called "Let's Play Drinking. Games".
