BerettaMusic, known for discovering and developing Detroit talent and serving as a launching ground for several well known artists such as Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Luke Hess and many others, the label further solidifies their legacy in Detroit dance music with a release from legendary Dez Andrés.

“It's hard to believe it is now a full decade since Detroit's Dez Andres blew up off the back of his classic house jam 'New For U.' He had of course been toiling away for years before that, recording with Moodyman and DJing for Slum Village amongst other things. Since then the music has kept coming - some of it hip-hop as DJ Dez, some of it house under this alias, and much of it a perfect fusion of the two. And that's what we get here on this new EP for Beretta Music - four lush deep house joints with his smooth signature drum loops and gloriously incidental melodies. The slower, funkier bounce of 'Back To Nature' is the EP highlight for us, but all four of these are a cut above, as per usual with Dez.”

Airport Society are the Detroit duo of Brian Kage and Ryan Sadorus who founded the label BerettaMusic together nearly 20 years ago. They have been on a tear this past year since getting back together on both the label and musical collaborations. Here they deliver a heavy remix of “Back in My Space”, taking it into the depths while accentuating the soulful elements. Inspired by late night Detroit underground parties, the duo continues to deliver classic releases and remixes. The label continues to build momentum through 2022/2023 with some great releases. It's been 1 year since our last appearance, but we are back with a new series of releases, presented in 2 parts, that aims to take you straight to another dimension, where both your sensations and emotions will connect throughout the music.

For Part 1, on the A1, we are honored to have 100hz hopping on board the RawBeats family, one of the most respected producers in the game, with an 11min masterpiece that will make you dance from the first beat till the last.

On the B side we first have a deep and trippy track, made by Argentinian renowned producer Fer Mariño and one of Rawbeats creators, head honcho Juan Proeliis.

B2 comes all the way from the US, with another collaboration between two super good friends and artists, no other than Diego Santana and Pily who delivered a hypnotic masterpiece than can only be described as a real dance floor banger!

The ever-evolving Bruise, purveyor of that top shelf house business drops The Skyline mini LP via Foundations Music Productions showcasing some of his finest work to date. Eight cuts that range from deep, introspective delights to hard-hitting club weapons, jazz-infused 2 step to UK bass flavours including a signature remix from esteemed stalwart of the scene, Future Beat Alliance.

Kicking off with ‘Cascade’, Bruise opens the record with a driving, emotive 4/4 vision of swirling strings and glittering pianos while a choir builds to create a club track of haunting beauty. ‘Brass Tacks’ and ‘Thunder’ follow, the former packed with driving horn riffs, euphoric chords and that classic Bruise breakdown, set to ignite dance floors across the world, with the latter a dramatic dance floor heater that mixes intensity and sensitivity to stunning effect.

Maintaining that balance of delicacy with power, elsewhere Bruise offers up both an instrumental and vocal mix of ‘Driftin’’ the atmospheric yet equally effective house stunner.

On the B side ‘The Dassy Slide’ dives deep into the basement. A rolling syncopated vocal lead dances around a nagging horn refrain all underpinned with a bass heavy 2-step inspired groove. Closing out the package Future Beat Alliance twists and turns with techno leaning trademark remix of ‘Themes’ that tips its hat to the ‘90s yet with a firm foot in the future before the UK Bass, breakbeat blending ‘Tears’ takes the final spot.

Should we look back and bring something of the past back into the forefront of our mind?
We think yes!!!
Because Kellerkind's “Disco on the Dancefloor” remains to this day a huge milestone in Sirion Records discography and the original track is still 10 years later an absolute earworm.

Dedication, constant focus on music, care and respect for others, are attributes that continue to apply to Kellerkind and have moved us to a remake of this infamous title.

As the title of the main track says, “Disco on the Dancefloor” with its groovy basses, poignant disco stabs is ideal for the dancefloor and still perfectly suited to inspire the masses.

But Kellerkind doesn’t rest on the guaranteed success of the past, he immediately delivers a thriving remake that perfectly reflects his current musical taste. Percussive, hypnotic and an all-around successful job to dress the track in a new garb.

Fittingly, there are two remixes by 8 Bit labelhead Gorge and Bernese producer Youen, among others.
A housy framework paired with percussion, discoid bass line and the hypnotic synth surface in the usual Gorge manner, not only gets the legs bobbing and the head nodding, but animates to conquer the dance floor.
Youen's techhousy remix puts the focus more on kick and clap and therefore comes as a true stomper. Peppered with the discreetly used samples, this makes for a wonderfully danceable mix for peak time.

10 Years of “Disco on the Dancefloor” is therefore more current than ever and an absolute must in the record bag, either on vinyl or digitally.

After a hiatus of sorts NxT Records is back on home turf with the next eponymous EP from Rich NxT. The label, now seven releases strong, traces the timeline of his sound and the newest instalment continues to tell the story, in this, his first release of 2022. Feint starts off the package with one of those trademark modulated baselines that we know so well, with snatches of melody working against snippets of vocal, injected into the infectious groove. On the flip side we hear more of an experimental side with Pulley taking a brighter, more playful tone with slap bass melding with percussion alongside swirling synths, and then bringing things to a close, Rose takes us into tribal territory, where haunting, eerie synth lines meet rolling drums. Grab this one for the bag!

Heavenly Recordings release the next two volumes in their series of remixed classics and unreleased versions. ‘Heavenly Remixes 7 & 8’ sees the label going back into the archive, as well as picking off some more recent remixes, and both albums primarily feature either previously unreleased versions or re-workings available for the first time on vinyl and CD.

Heavenly have always seen immense value in the remix, a value way beyond what it might bring commercially. Since their first release in 1990 (where Andrew Weatherall overhauled a one-off single by club kids Sly and Lovechild) Heavenly remixes have been carefully curated and treated as a key part of the A&R process. It’s an opportunity to view an artist through a different prism, to play out a musical ‘what if’ scenario. It’s the kind of exploration that’s happened consistently through the thirty plus years the label has released music.



The ‘Heavenly remixes’ series continues to showcase the very best remixes, versions, meditations, re-rubs and dubs from all around the world of artists right across the roster of the country’s most exciting record label. In most cases, the albums offer the first physical release for a remix, elevating them from streaming playlists to their rightful, spiritual home on super heavy vinyl (or shiny, super-packed compact disc).



‘Heavenly remixes 7’ heads to Belfast, where David Holmes - a producer who first appeared on Heavenly in 1994 amping up the acid on Saint Etienne’s ‘Like A Motorway’ - appears as solo artist and as one third of Unloved, who get a lift right to the heart of a Vauxhall sweatbox by Horse Meat Disco. It draws a line between Amsterdam and Frankfurt as Ludwig A.F. amps up the electronics on Pip Blom’s ‘Keep It Together’. It stops off in a south London studio where super producer Dan Carey plays the desk with Toy, then relocates LA psych rock band Fever The Ghost to an Ibizan shoreline as the sun sets on the horizon. It cements Sheffield’s reputation as the home of modern British techno with the return of true originators Forgemasters. And it pitches up in front of a renegade soundsystem late night at Glastonbury as Erol Alkan’s mighty rework of Con Man gets its third rewind of the night.



‘Heavenly remixes 8’ opens with Space Afrika’s lush, ambient reimagining of the Orielles’ ‘BEAM/S’ before Justin Robertson stretches Amber Arcades’ ‘Turning Light’ into eight minutes of electronic dub. Elsewhere, Baxter Dury’s peerless ‘Miami’ becomes a string-laden electro skank in the hands of French producer Pilooski; Edinburgh’s bedroom techno genius Eyes of Others’ ‘Safehouse’ turns into an East End bathhouse courtesy of disco deviants Decius; Ashley Beedle’s Black Science Orchestra turns Unloved’s heartworn torch song into seven minutes of glimmering dreamlike percussive house and Katy J. Pearson’s freak flag is flown high thanks to The Umlauts’ throbbing filtered electro mix. It ends similarly to how it began as TONE takes

Berk Offset brings his committed strain of swinging techno freakdom to Accidental Jnr for a four-track EP aimed squarely at the hips.

Offset, also known as Rainer Maria Silke, has been skirting around the fringes of outsider dance music in Germany for more than a decade, releasing two notable EPs on Jena’s bastion of weirdnik, jazz-informed minimal, Musik Krause, and dropping bombs for the wonky techno die-hards at Snork Enterprises.

Those past exploits are instructive for the sound Offset presents on Intraface.

Fusing lean, late night rhythmic submission with evocative strokes of off-kilter jazz sampling and errant synth experimentation, Offset’s twist on 4/4 club music has exactly the kind of inspired otherness represented throughout Accidental’s family of labels.

Adding to what already has been a tremendous year for the Berlin-based producer, Nat Wendell returns home for his third release on his very own imprint, Depths of My Soul. On the surface, DMS 003 may appear to be vintage—and pulsating—Wendell. Under the cracks of these three tracks, though, is a producer moving towards music as a tool of political and musical advancement.

A1’s “Takes These Chains off My Mind” is an explicit cry from liberation away from mental slavery, an anthem for, in the words of Wendell himself, people “emancipating themselves from mental slavery, placed on black and people of colour alike.”

B1’s “Tha Music” plays on similar ideas of music as liberation, jolting dancers into submission with its rolling hats and snappy arrangements that will easily fit into any house head's bag. Judging by the name,

B2’s “Questioning Existence” may seem a tad existential—but, taking a late-nite 90’s garage cue from his own hometown, it’s anything but!

Next up on KOC’s ever-expanding web of dance dignitaries comes a knockout split release from two of the finest in the game; Olsvangér & MYKI. The dynamic duo making shapes from Tel Aviv take a side each to showcase a special signature synergy; percussive, playful and innovative tech-trance. The A-side from Olsvangér is filled with an infectious groove, gorgeous stabs dipping and soaring over a delicious bassline and razor-sharp drum programming. MYKI mirrors the party starting prog; bumping up the speed with rhythmic explorations that have become trademarks of the Tofistock crew. With forces combined, the four-track EP is an essential collection of club tools and versatile modern sounds for the mind and body.

“Azazel” is the second vinyl release of this year and the EP debut from Priorato (MX), with some interesting and outstanding remixes by Colossio, Ludviq, and Chinosynth. This vinyl release will offer a diverse range of remixes, each bringing its own interpretation and style to the original track "Azazel".

A1. Led by Rubén Torres, a DJ and producer from Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, focusing on indie dance and techno, the original track for "Azazel" is characterized by a solid bass sequence, hypnotic vocals, and a blend of electronic and organic elements.

The song creates an enigmatic and immersive atmosphere, gradually building a powerful and addictive groove, it offers a musical experience that transports listeners to a trance-like state, inducing feelings of euphoria and escapism.

A2. For the first remix we have the honor to have again on board Colossio, he’s also known as one of Mexico's most talented producers, with previous releases on labels like Duro, Calypso, and Exit Strategy. His remix of "Azazel" is expected to bring a mix of high energy and darkness to the track, showcasing his signature style.

B1. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico but now based in Barcelona, Spain, Head honcho Ludviq, delivers a remix that promises to be energetic, groovy and psychedelic, incorporating unconventional percussions and sounds recorded from the city chaos and nature calmness environments.

B2. Based in Culiacán, Mexico, Chinosynth's remix aims to infuse a human touch into the track by incorporating analog sounds from studio instruments such as guitars, bass, and synths, while maintaining a dance floor-oriented vibe.

Sourcing influences from 90s Tech, house, trance and breaks Aiden Francis' pure passion for underground electronic music radiates through his music and DJ sets. Effortlessly drifting between different sounds and aesthetics, Aiden has managed to break himself free from the constraints of genre so that his true creative prowess can be flexed in full.

The lack of constraint overflows into Aiden's DJ sets, providing highly energetic experiences that flows through a unity of sounds, cultures and voices. This varied approach to DJing has found Aiden's name appear on high-quality events across Manchester and the UK, having played along Eris Drew at The Loft, taking the reins for High Hoops Pride Weekender at The White Hotel featuring on the lineup alongside D.Tiffany and Fafi Abdel Nour and regular intimate sets at Eastern Bloc.

Welcoming Trikk to Truesoul, he brings the quality we have come to expect from both label and artist. kicking off with Houx 93 uses a dubbed out, sleazy bass line and a killer vocal hook to full effect in this tough, house killer.

Harvey McKay's Remix makes use of the vocal and adds some naughty percussion to create an uncompromising groove.

LEON and Dennis Cruz join forces to create a stomper of a track, dropping on Crosstown Rebels this September. The inimitable Ewan Pearson steps up to create his own unique take on the record.

The original version of My Hood lays down a heady, sleazy groove with a womping baseline and dizzying synths, featuring vocals from BETA MAX. The legendary Ewan Pearson takes the track in a whole new direction, pitching it down and adding a slice of funk to proceedings with a groove laden guitar riff. Prolific producer Pearson has been making records since the mid-nineties, providing remixes for the Chemical Brothers, Depeche Mode, Goldfrapp and Metronomy as well as releasing his own productions under a number of guises on imprints such as Visionquest and Kompakt. The record looks set to be a massive release for Crosstown Rebels and has already become a huge anthem in Damian Lazarus' sets this summer.

Italian born producer LEON has produced for a number of seminal imprints including Relief Records and Monologue Music and has remixed for the likes of Audiofly and Ninetoes. He can count sets at some of the world's most valued clubs and festivals including; Pacha, Ministry Of Sound, Zouk and Sunwaves. Dennis Cruz's creations have earnt him high praise from esteemed outlets such as Mixmag, BBC Radio 1 and DJ Mag. He's played at renowned institutions Fabric and Privilege and has released on key labels such as Solid Grooves, Hot Creations and Moon Harbour. He was also awarded the coveted accolade of Best Producer in the 2017 DJ Awards.

Hitting the music press headlines recently was news of a second Floorplan album. Now M-Plant delivers a first taste of this highly anticipated release with two tracks from the album, 'Music' and 'Tell You No Lie'. Floorplan is already well known as Robert Hood's house, disco, funk and gospel outlet, which this year evolves into a family affair with co-production alongside his daughter, Lyric. 'Victorious' will be the second Floorplan album and follow-up to 2013's 'Paradise' which spawned 'Let's Ride, Baby Baby' and the massive 'Never Grow Old'. Set to replicate the success of 'Paradise', 'Victorious' will be released in June. To precede it, the single released at the end of April is comprised of the bumping house groove of 'Music' (which received it's first global airing on B.Traits' BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra show in February) and the disco rotations of 'Tell You No Lie'. Both tracks are exceptionally infectious, with tough beats, glorious vocal reprises and sure not to disappoint.

On Loop marks it's third year with the Volume 3 compilation curated by Moxie, due for release this Autumn. Sampler 2 of 2 provides 4 tracks from the main compilation, featuring exclusive productions from Throwing Shade, Sandboards, Addison Groove and Fotomachine. Compiled of music from artists she continues to support on her bi-weekly NTS show, Moxie's selection know-how is apparent throughout. Throwing Shade kicks off the A side of sampler 3.2, laying down celestial melodics and a dark low-end on 'Floors', before New Zealand duo Sandboards provide pad- drive top 'Miss Brimstone Dub'. Addison Groove's jazz-soaked chugger 'SOMA' opens the B side, leaving Fotomachine to close proceedings with hazy groove-filled cut 'IBIDUN'. With 2016's Volume 2 gathering support from names like Gilles Peterson, Benji B and Annie Mac - this year's release is set to meet a similar reception. In addition to Moxie's label, the On Loop party series has just celebrated it's 1st birthday with Kornel Kovacs and LK at On Loop's London home The Pickle Factory. The On Loop family has been growing all year, with Moxie inviting guests like Avalon Emerson, Damiano von Erckert, Alexander Nut and many many more, to over 20 parties at venues like Manchester's Soup Kitchen, Edinburgh's Sneaky Pete's and Lyon's Le Sucre. With more parties to be announced this year, an ADE showcase lined up, and a festival stage curation under her belt - Moxie's On Loop imprint is set to continue on it's upward trajectory.

Ático Corp. presents his third EP on his own label UFC, co-owned with also producer R.I.P Bestia. Simulación Ep is the name where you will find four cuts with breaks, electro and trance grooves in an always cyberdelic way. On the A side you have two versions of the same track, AT68. Afterlife Recordings welcomes back the Fideles duo for a new EP, 'Endless Sacrifice'.

Electronic pioneers Rick Smith and Karl Hyde announce the conclusion of their groundbreaking fifty-two week DRIFT series: a new single, a new album and their biggest ever live headline shows

Released on October 25th 2019, the new album DRIFT SONGS marks the conclusion of their hugely ambitious 52-week DRIFT Series. During that period, music, film and text pieces are created and published every Thursday as part of the band’s on-going, very public recording process; a unique and visionary space Smith and Hyde have created for themselves to exist within. By the end of the DRIFT series, more new music and film will have been released by Underworld in its one-year duration than in the last fifteen years.

DRIFT SONGS expands and enhances a selection of the recordings the duo have released since they began their audio/visual experiment in November 2018. The album will be released as a single CD, double vinyl and crucially an all-encompassing box-set featuring the music, visuals and text pieces released throughout the entire 52-week DRIFT.

DRIFT SONGS is Underworld’s first album release since 2016’s Barbara, Barbara we face a shining future (“an album full of heart, soul and brilliant noise” The Observer ) and the first physically released music since 2018’s Q award winning collaboration with Iggy Pop, Teatime Dub Encounters (“Born of the friction from a restless need to create… others of their standing may choose the wallowing legacy of safety. These guys do not.” NME ).

2023 Limited repress! Not even a couple of months have passed since the first release on the Moscow’s label by Orbet & Sorv, but apparently fans of powerful dance music will have no time to rest even during a global pandemic. Because Exarde is not planning to slow down and now the crew is gradually revealing the details of the upcoming series of vinyl releases.

Ripping its way through the space-time continuum, Tel-Aviv based producers Asphalt DJ and Gzardin surface on Oddysee for the release of their anticipated debut outing, 'Now & Zen'. The 4-track opening salvo embarks on a transcendental trip of deep and propulsive club bouncers. With the cuts firmly landing on the intersection of the 90s spectrum and fresh-minded sound design, the package offers a clear view of where the two newcomers are headed, as well as the Oddysee label.

Paradise City Breakers are welcome back on Discarded Gems with solid EP, ready to serve the dance floor at each need, from the peak to the morning lights.

After the first two appearances on previous releases, Toke's return on Pluto's Plan with a personal EP was a must. This non-average four-track missile unfolds perfect energy for various dancefloor occasions.

Gigi Masin, Vakula and Roman Flügel line up on this first 10 Year Anniversary 12" for Dekmantel... 9 more of similar quality in the pipe. Five years after their first event, Dekmantel Records saw the light of day. Over the course of 2017 the label will release ten EPs from artists that are close to their hearts; artists that have shaped Dekmantel into what it is today and producers who never fail to inspire them.

On this first EP in the series, Italian musician Gigi Masin makes his Dekmantel Records debut and delivers the first instalment, bringing his deep listening signature sound to the label: 'Maja' is a sublime and spaced-out juncture of jazzy ambient and foggy electronics. On the flip, the ever-brilliant Dekmantel family member Vakula delivers a Kraftwerk-esque house meets electro jam, while Roman Flügel tops things of with a springy and loose, asymmetric rhythm cut.

After Ipoly Mate's bracing ignition worlds are colliding on Ipoly Mate 002, just as Alec Troniq loves it. Strong voices and discreet acoustic instruments meet electronic grooves. Electronica hits Rock music, Pop strikes Tech House. Alec involves Rock, Jazz and Pop musicians here. When Alec found the love for the smashing songs of a rattling steamrolling Rock duo named "The Naked Hands", they decided to meet and fuse their ideas. A deep-freezing voice, a bluesy piano, a rolling bass guitar and recorded noises make up a shaking Indie Dance track of it's very own.
Alec Troniq's original "Pimpernuckel" was one of the independent dance music hits of the penultimate summer and inspired the then still unknown Gabriel Vitel to sing along. Here we release this primal origin of Alec Troniq & Gabriel Vitel's joint venture after their impacting successes "Mind Doodles", Gabriel's "Feeling Better" and beside their constant common live act touring.

Our fourth release follows the ebb and flow of a night out in a strange mood.
For starters, guided by the concerned voice of Query D, we turn a few corners and go to the local 24h store to pick up some Night Shop Gold, aka the best midnight snack, a samosa. After that we do some Doomstrolling to a tune that invites us to indulge in the night’s pleasures, absently grinning through it’s darkest hours. When the sun comes up again, The Sleepless rounds out the EP for all the insomniacs out there, with some reflections on the dangers of sleep deprivation set to a melancholy beat.

Irakli’s new album is due to come out October 2023 on Live at Robert Johnson. Mechanical Moon is a retrofuturistic adventure of beautiful compositions and pulsating rhythms which are weaved together over the span of eight tracks.

We are immersed into evocative atmospheres, full of intricate textures. This is techno where you close your eyes and board an ocean liner that slowly rises and floats towards the moon.

Happy human with sad eyes roamed the neon-lit streets of the artificial island. This section of the metropolis had been designed as a necessity more than any other amenities. It had been allocated a budget surpassing the one for waste management in a city housing over a billion inhabitants.

Society had managed to eradicate love, yet it still grappled with untamed primal instincts such as dancing, sex, or violence. The island provided a discreet haven, away from the prying eyes of telescreens that silently stared into all souls. Similar to Las Vegas centuries ago, it was a safe space where anything was fair game.

Once there, night time lasted all day. Everything retained an analog essence. Music emanated from vintage record players. Amidst the laughter and tears, the artificial glow of the mechanical moon had become the last reminder of life outside.

A life so repetitive that he had been consumed by the desire to transform into a machine or a human satellite. Yet, breaking the cycle in such a manner remained impossible. And so, he wandered for hours on the island, among the weary faces.

Happy as one could be.

At the very coalface of the UK rave/breakbeat/techno/call it what you like scene since the 1990s, Jerome Hill is something of a hidden treasure amongst the plethora of DJs and producers to have dropped both bangers and bloopers over the ensuing three decades. With minimum of fuss and fanfare, Hill has steered record labels like Super Rhythm Trax, Don’t, Fat Hop and Hornsey Hardcore to revered acclaim, as well as firing out a consistent stream of releases for imprints such as Matthew Herbert’s Accidental Jr, Exalt Records, and I Love Acid, to name but a few.

Surprisingly, ‘Flow Mechanics’ is Hill’s debut album after a production career that kicked off in 1998 as one half of Groove Asylum. And its collection of unabashed acid and rave bangers is a perfect fit for the Hypercolour label, whose personnel over the last few years has included Luke Vibert, DMX Krew, Shelley Parker and Gary Gritness. Tracks produced directly for club play; the album features 8 cuts destined to fit in cross-genre sets.

With pumping electro cuts such as ‘Deafening Lull’ and ‘Knob Jitter’, four to the floor acid stompers like ‘Walk The Plank’, the mutant garage of ‘Brought Up Badly’ and the house groover ‘Stax Had The Funk’, ‘Flow Mechanics’ is a joyous romp through rave’s sound palette, replete with playful samples and skits (featured on the vinyl LP version), and a mischievous demeanour that affords the listener an lively album that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
