'Galactic Alignment' is the new single by the elusive Jump 'Chico' Slamm, whose otherwise sparse catalogue includes the classic 'Slamm Project' which got released on Cajual in 1993 and features the legendary track 'Feel Free'. Another notable song in his catalogue is 'Fuk Dat', another 1993 recording (under his Sagat moniker), which became a worldwide club and radio hit.
While working on a reissue of aforementioned 'Feel Free', an unreleased recording came to light which immediately lit our fire. 'Galactic Alignment' was just too good to remain in the vaults, so it
got dusted off and readied for release. Although this jewel has been lying dormant for some years, it sounds very current. Better yet, it
has a timeless feel and has the unique appeal to take dance floors both intimate and extravagant. Another essential from the mind of Mr. Slamm!

oh yes, Steve Pickton pops up again.. this time on Delsin! The man is kind of a legend in the UK electronics scene in his various guises - putting out greatness on Peacefrog, B12, Pure Plastic, Mo Wax, Clear, Soul Jazz, Smallfish etc etc etc! Here he is under his deep Detroit vibed 223 moniker.. ending the EP to a heartfelt ode to ESSEX! TIP!

The latest offering from Jacques Renault and Marcos Cabral's On the Prowl features the work of Evan Stalker, a Los Angeleno who's a visual artist by day and a production wiz by night. The four songs included on this 12' are meticulously-layered, lusciously-arranged deep house jams of the highest quality.
The record kicks off with 'Parkway,' the chillest of the package. It's an easy, swinging tune that ebbs and flows like the Pacific during high tide with jittery synth ditties dancing off the atmospheric washes.
The A2 is Runaway's remix, and while they leave the original structure mostly intact, they add some oomph to the bass kicks and distort the melodies, fuzzing and glitching them out to yield a more hard-edged final product.
The flip's first tune, 'Downtown,' is, as the name implies, of a more urban nature, and definitely intended for a late-night warehouse rager. Anxiously, the song pushes ahead with an aggressive, pumping bass line and frantic, sharp synth chords, assertive handclaps, and a hi-hat that's got plenty of swagger.

Three killer tracks by Mr.Tophat, Art Alfie, Adam Stromstedt on their own Junk Yard Connections label. Openings track is straight away a huge track that will make them bounce like crazy. Bakey Usti the swedisch way. Great fresh approach by these young producers. Vinyl only affair!

The wind up of Phillip Lauer's album debut 'Phillips' (still available in all formats including gatefold double vinyl) is in the hands of NYC remix/production outfit Runaway and Versatile's very own I:Cube. Runaway do their best to turn 'Tentatious' into one of those early morning deep house dubs that you could find on the b-side on vintage designer labels of their hometown. Music for baby powdered wooden floors. I:Cube does the opposite and manufactures a bumper car boogie beat that also works as a UK rave dub. He likes to move it. On the flip, Lauer himself turns in the hidden album track 'Boringtone' - his very own secret ode to the Café del Mar - and the super exclusive smashing pumpkin that is 'Highdimes". 100% Overground melodies

After a busy 2011, Nicholas slowed down the pace of production in 2012. Here the Italian producer returns with a new single for 4lux and what a banger it is! Title track Life Goes On is a great club tune with uplifting bass, beats, rhodes and cut up vocal bits. NY Stomp comes with a killer remix in the vein of the famous NY House Trak: hard hitting old school beats and tough groove. On the flip two deeper but equally good nuggets in All I Can Give and Messed Up Generation. Some of Nicholas' best work to date!

After Simon Weiss debuted on Rush Hour with his 'Amsterdam Wave' track on the -Amsterdam All-
Stars' compilation at the tail-end of 2011, he now returns with his first solo EP for the label. And what a first solo release this is. He literally has up bouncing up and down at the office for weeks with this four tracker. With his 'Wave EP' Simon delivers a tasteful and fun package. Four house tracks that ride the thin line between retro and current, without trying to sound like either one. Conclusion, this young buck has arrived and brings along his signature sound.

It's been a long time coming but House Sound is back with its fourth release. Nicholas' label brings together five emerging talents for a huge 12 release. Mat Chiavaroli and Massimo Di Lina take care of the A side with two low down deep house grooves. The B-side is a funky affair with tracks from Jordan Peak, Bubbin' Dub and Yuri Shulgin. Absolute killer!

For our 5th release on secretsundaze we are very happy to welcome back Jamie Taylor, more commonly known as Flori to the fold. Of course some may have already heard Secretsundaze 003: 'Shelter', a charming track Flori wrote with sometime partner and friend Ethyl, both regular guests playing at secretsundaze from our 10th Birthday Party in London to Sonar, that came complete with a more technoey Rolando remix. Well he's back already, this time flying solo with the 'Lucy' 12".

Welcome to the hugely anticipated 'Philadelphia International Classics: The Tom Moulton Remixes'.

Tom Moulton's involvement with Philadelphia International spans the entire 40 years of their existence with many of his early mixes unaccredited in the era before the 12' Disco Disc. In 1977 PIR released the ground-breaking historic original double LP 'Philadelphia Classics' which featured 8 ofTom Moulton's greatest PIR mixes. The album has subsequently been reissued several times and is rightly hailed as a 'must have' classic for ANY serious music lovers' collection.

Honing her skills with the same dexterous elegance showcased in her LED sculptures, the Deniz Kurtel sound can be experienced across many shades in the spectrum of house. Here she adds her own spin to Solomun's 'What the Funk' with a bouncing bassline and jacking beat. Hot Natured star Richy Ahmed provides his smooth twist on Mathias Kaden's original 'Jackathon'. Not too much, not too little, it's just right. At the forefront of the new breed of British DJs redefining house through inspirations of funk and disco, Richy has spent the past few years taking his unique sound to the best parties in the world including Burning Man, DEMF, Glastonbury and Sonar. 'Whiff It Yawl' by Jamie Jones is taken into the hands of Bristol's finest Eats Everything. Adding space too it, an airy mix of sound reverb adds ambience and energy, while the track slowly reveals itself and the powerful kick drops with full force. The third man to take the baton in Delsin's new house aligned sub-series is Helsinki's Trevor Deep Jr. The man himself states his sound is "somewhere between Detroit deepness, classic Chicago house and the moody soundscapes of Helsinki, something backed up by the three new tracks offered here.

Sasha's ever growing label Last Night On Earth presents the first in a series of releases from Electronic wizards Ghosting Season.

The growth of Ghosting Season came naturally from their previous project worriedaboutsatan, in their own words: "Our work was still a network of dark, brooding - yet euphoric - electronica, but there began to appear towering, vibrant, and inescapable moments of dance music. The sound was expanding beyond the identity of worriedaboutsatan."

Hailing from Manchester the duo deliver their first single 'A Muffled Sound Of Voices', featuring the vocal talent of Knox. A superb orchestration of music put together in a way these guys do best, this is pure electronic music at it's finest.

The package includes a range of standout remixes from recognised and upcoming talent across the globe. First of which from Luke Abbott, who in the past has heavily featured on James Holden's Border Community label. Panorama Bar regular Ed Davenport provides his mix, well suited to the Berlin sound where he now resides. Bubba - with recent releases on Hot Creations, steps up to deliver his mix and London's Jack Dixon changes it up with a groovy tech-house number. Newcomer Jamie Funk rounds off the package nicely, with previous releases on Vitalik and 1Trax he adds his flavour to the original, a great deep house re-work.

Roundabout Sounds is back in 2012 with a project that was over a year in the making. 'The Power EP' is a tribute to the late Aaron-Carl that contains the last track he made before he left us. As a result, we gathered a handful of supporting artists to put together this double-vinyl (only) project. Rest in peace Aaron-Carl and thank you for the memories!

Time to welcome Ben Sun to D.O.G with his incredible Love Momentum EP containing three tracks of the raw stuff to groove to. Some may know Ben Sun from his previous releases on the brilliant Voyeurhythm label, his own vinyl-only imprint distributed by Clone which was established in 2009. Others might have his remixes of Reggie Dokes on Royal Oak or Deep Space Orchestra on Boogie Originals. Whatever, this man is making serious waves right now and adds yet another feather in the collective cap of young Antipodean producers making underground house music with their own unique and authentic approach.
You Should Know Better kicks off in fine style bringing the thump and the funk with a doff of the cap to the Moody one in this ten minute excursion into sampled basslines and cut-up beats. Nagging strings and filtering horn sample increase the tension, interspersing the vocal clips perfectly and driving the track to the midpoint breakdown where the rousing speech pushes the energy levels further still. The second part of the track introduces the soloing rhodes hook which loops up and builds slowly before letting loose in an all out jazz jam bringing things to a suitably funked-up conclusion.
Flip over for the slightly straighter classic house bounce of Yesterlife, all splashing 909 hats, pads that Mr Heard himself would approve of and a warm bassline bringing the boom to the track. We can't get enough of the raw energy Ben's got running through this one.
Finally, we have the epic beauty of Love Hotel to get your teeth sunk into. Once again, the production is completely on point, sounding sweet, deep and musical but staying raw and gritty. This one features NYC's finest exponent of slo-mo, sultry house Slow Hands so that should give you an idea of the quality we're talking about here

release debut on Morris Audio great beats and sexy basslines are the key elements of the hypnotic JS sound. And the remix of Nico Lahs (Ovum,
Pokerflat) reminds us of some of these old killer Svek releases. Yeah, music wont stop!

Next up on Good Ratio Music is Baldo, an artist who spent the past few months working in the
back of this label getting prepared to release the third chapter in his own imprint. Spies & Lies is the name
of his work which follows some brilliant remixes and tracks he did lately in labels like Stranjjur and
Elevation Recordings.

When Dynamodyse made his debut on WPH back in 2009 he struck a chord (pun intended) with lovers of emotional deep house worldwide. Hailing from Dortmund, Mathias 'Matze' Schmitt is a special character that immediately fit the bunch of WPH nutters, so it was only a matter of time before he would be back with a second release. Which incidentally will be his second release ever, which goes to show how much he trusts WPH and how much WPH trusts Dynamodyse.

Manik, aka M A N I K. Since exploding onto the scene with his debut Ovum releas
he has gone on to develop and strengthen his own sounds & styles. Never

own unique identity.

Luke Solomon is a survivor. Starting out in the early '90s, he's still going strong, with a classic label, an enormous chart hit and plenty of memories behind him. He's connected to some of the most respected names in UK house—Justin Harris, Rob Mello, Kenny Hawkes. And the US too. Classic, the label he started with Derrick Carter, hardly needs an introduction: It was among the best underground house imprints of the late '90s and early '00s, and one of the most idiosyncratic, reflecting Solomon and Carter's wide-ranging tastes perfectly. Solomon, in particular, has always surprised, whether it be via his Freaks collaboration with Justin Harris or his solo work for Rekids.

Cómeme means a body that gives itself away. Everynow and then worldwide heralds of the loony beats, ritmo lunatics and self-styled electronic primitives join in for a nightlife fiction to become reality. This collective fantasy, utterly devoted to the dark side of the mirror ball, keeps a certain wanderlust. So, if you happen to have your globe at hand, let´s twist the ball around and spotlight the places of Cómeme, episode 15.

Mercury are on fire. Already they are called the "new Swiss House Mafia".. with their brothers from Round Table Knights (on Made to Play) they are working on a new, funky, heavy energetic kind of house music. Here is Mercury's third single on Gomma. Three deep jams. Deeper then the last single. Paris House 1998.... and gospel percussion from the 20th century.... if you know what we mean...

Ok, to call this album long awaited or highly anticipated would be a non sequitur.

Semtek leaves the comfort of his excellent Don't Be Afraid imprint to supply the third 12 inch on Andy Blake's In Plain Sight label, following stellar turns from YoungTee and Maarten Van Der Vleuten. It's not the first time Blake has called on the London-based producer's services - World Unknown devotees will remember the monolithic "Tacos For Dinner" cut in association with Chardonnay that appeared on that label's most recent 12". "Couer De Lyon" is a chunky house jam of the highest order; shuffling hats, a stripped back bassline and a vocal many of you will recognise from one of MK's most legendary remixes combine for a cut that overflows with sultry late night passion. Flip over for some soundtracky house in the shape of "Beaufort", an analogue jam in the mould of Legowelt that retains a club-ready potency and thus offers a more heads-down alternative to the A-Side.

When I See You Again', from Canyons' 2011 debut Keep Your Dreams, is a slice of the most relaxed paradise you could imagine. Tribal drums, slinky synth lines, Balearic beats and a little saxophone - the song should come with a Pina Colada.

London based Welshman Chamboche returns to the label that launched him with the Smoke Screen EP. His unquantifiable sound swerves genre classification, hovering around house but with enough musicality to please the hardened disco head.
Swirling pads and a bubbling bass line set down the groove, while keys fall around horns and vocals to make the lead track a refined, uplifting work out. Slowly unfolding, the track is hypnotic and absorbing, showcasing the style of a producer as able to work the mind as the hips.

Bicep toughen up the drums and work the arpeggio, stripping down the track and bringing the Chicago influence higher in the mix. While the original subtly unfolds, their remix demands attention from the outset, building to a climax then recoiling for another bite at the cherry.

Thinking big, KRL ramps up the intensity with a bright, kinetic reworking. Aimed squarely at the peak time, he harnesses all of Smoke Screen's most propulsive elements to really work the floor.

Tucked away on the B side is the expansive Mind Your Mind. Trademark Chamboche percussion is woven around a blissful riff, swelling majestically to round off the EP in slo(w) burning euphoria.
