Jeremy a.k.a. 'Underground Paris' is a renowned record collector & crate-digger. He is the founder of "My Love Is Underground", a vinyl-only label that's been responsible for the revival of the "authentic House groove" in Europe recently. Also a DJ, he travels all over Europe every week-end to spread his message! Pascal Rioux has worn many hats in the music industry over the past 15 years: Founder of Favorite Recordings, Rotax Disques and Big Single labels, he's also known for his many DeepHouse productions in the late 90's When those two House lovers met they immediately got along, building the idea of reissuing some obscure gems on a compilation. This is what My Love Is Underground is all about: a triple LP with 12 rare, underrated or unknown tunes from the golden days of House music, finely picked in Jeremy's collection!

Argentina has a rich history when it comes to dance music and Gonzalo Solimano is one of the country's finest electronic flag-bearers. With his Unlock Recordings imprint he's created a heavy back-catalogue that the likes of Barem, Guti, Luca M and Daniel Sanchez have all contributed to.

After a short break Solimano is back with his 'Factor H' EP and the original mix is a tropical, cow bell laden treat, one that sums up the nation's sound nicely. On remix duty is both Fase and fellow Argentinian maestro Guti.

The producer's last full-length was the jazz-inspired 'Rompecorazones' and now a remix LP is set to follow but here we focus on his amazing edit of 'Factor H'.

Guti has maintained the percussive elements of the original but added a significant amount of groove and focused on adding in thick kick drums and more drive. It's one you can imagine on the terraces or at 4am in a darkened room and this is why Guti is such a don. Check it.

We're really happy to get Andy on Heist after his successful collab with his buddy Max Graef on the Jungle EP back in 2013.

He delivers a great 4-track EP that ranges from the synth-arp love affair of 'The same for me', to the heavily sampled disco jam 'Epsilon girls.' Check out 'Hermano' and 'Merkin' for a dreamy old school Chicago vibe, both done with a great sense of history and an added touch Andy's modern production and sampling skills.

The Belgian Stereo Express joins forces with AKA AKA & Thalstroem as well as vocalist Timmy Shimmy to increase the anticipation of the long-player with the first single 'When I'm With You". Together they create a wonderful house gem that is initially driven by strings and claps, before the crystal clear guitar will be flanked by a grooving bass line. The lyrics are a declaration of love towards our soul mate, to life in general and radiate this positive attitude that defines Burlesque Musique - including a delicate French touch and a chime final. With its dominant kick drum, the club edit starts a bit harder and dispense the hedonistic vocals, even though the warmth and grace of the strings as well as the flattering melody constitutes the attention of 'When I'm With You". The Bremen-based producer Oliver Schories equips his remix not only with a lowered bass line, but relies on the trinity of hi-hats, long-drawn chords and dreamy soundscapes. The down-pitched vocals top his purist approach tremendously off. The second remix comes from Sakso. The saxophonist is both the studio mate of Stereo Express as well as his partner in crime during their live gigs. He puts focus on the vocals and impresses with a swarming sax solo that longs for summer and evokes daydreams. A phenomenal appetizer for the upcoming debut album by Stereo Express!

From winning a DJ competition in Bristol to now readying her highly anticipated Defected In The House mix compilation, the past 10 years have been both a hard-earned and well-deserved rise to the top for Sam Divine. The Bath-born DJ has gone from practicing in a shed at the bottom of her mum's garden to main stage festival headliner, while also becoming a label owner and the presenter of Defected's In The House radio show, the #1 house music podcast on iTunes.

Sam Divine In The House is a pure representation of Sam's refreshingly versatile approach to DJing in 2016, but also touches upon her many musical influences and showcases a selection of her own forthcoming productions, along with releases on the D-Vine Sounds imprint. Believe it or not but Uncanny Valley looks back on five years of releasing records this summer. There was a bit of discussion on how to celebrate this occasion properly. Instead of just turning into the typical Greatest hits-routine the label heads Albrecht, Carl, Conrad and Philipp decided to look back and forth. So, besides a record with completely new material there will be a record that unleashes four tracks from the vaults of these five years. As you can imagine, there are lots of tracks that are good too but doesn't fit on the record in question because of the whole record's atmosphere or just because there's not enough space on the vinyl. But it would be a shame if those tunes stay unreleased forever. So, here's "Uncanny Valley: Five Years On Parole - gems from the vaults"! For example, you'll get "The Music", this catchy House banger from Jacob Korn and San Soda didn't fit on Jacob's debut collaboration album but has seduced so many people to dance since it was produced. The combination of the vocal sample, the catchy piano chords and the percussions are just too hard to resist. Also, "In Circles" by Cuthead is a favourite since its release on the digital-only "Resteessen EP". No wonder, after all this track has all the ingredients a Cuthead fan is longing for. Many have waited for another signal of C-Beams, the project from Break SL and Sandrow M. "Beaming City" is not a new song but a wonderful one with its combination of tricky drumming and melancholic synths. It's a reminder of what is so special about the project. We'll see what the future will bring for C-Beams. Finally, Credit 00 slows down things and seeks for an "Elsewhere Girl" that seems to hide in dark and spooky swamps. Besides lots of other artists it was former Dresden and now Berlin based artist Paul Waak who had a formative influence on all the visual aspects of Uncanny Valley. Sure thing that he was the man to create the artwork for both records in true Paul Waak style.

This EP for us represents a period where we've been enjoying loads of new music, and have gotten inspiration from many different sources, to see in what way we can expand the Detroit Swindle sound. Magic Waves delivers the third and final installment in its series of EPs focusing on established artists working in disguise and encouraging the listener to put the music first' ahead of names, trends or gimmicks. 'Music First Vol 3' opens in serious style with Fashionable Male's epic EBM/New Beat stormer 'Hardbody', slow, deep and hard, building pressure to a crushing crescendo and guaranteed to drench any industrial basement dancefloor in litres of sweat. As if that wasn't enough of an audiophysical workout we're also treated on Side A to Deflektor1000's 'Krunch', a punchy analogue technoid jam for the DJs that raves the bpm's up to the next level in classic Detroit-Chicago style featuring whooshing strings, grinding bass and generally heavily elevating vibes. Flipping over to Side B things quickly get deeply hypnotic and very acidic indeed courtesy of Pagan Ritual's squelching and jacking box-jam 'Think Like Me', another bomb no doubt destined to sit in many a DJ-bag for a long time. And closing things off we have an analogue Italo-Electro instrumental hard-rocker from Albert Ross in the shape of 'Fly Away', one that has been doing the rounds in the underground for some time and even popping up in the occasional I-F mix or two, finally available on wax but just as mysterious as ever. Copies are limited so don't be slow...you snooze, you lose!

The first release of 2014 on Busy P's Ed Banger imprint comes from the head man himself and he's served up a solid set of remixes. Breakbot turns his hand at reworking 'This Song' and although it features those dreamy synths and quintessential guitar licks it displays a slightly deeper feel for the disco producer. Desirre and Djedjotronic also remix 'This Song' with very positive results, and there's even a wild and erratic Bok Bok remix of 'Procrastinator'. The stand-out, however, comes in the form of 'Rainbow Man 2.0' which sees the cracking original get a shiny and more outrageous makeover.

All roads lead to Croatia this summer. In August Defected will host its first full festival at the celebrated Garden Resort in Tisno on the stunning Adriatic coast. Defected Croatia 2016 is set to bring five days of pure house hedonism to this idyllic spot with an incredible line-up of quality artists and DJs, a unique blend of talent that will seefresh underground performers, superstar DJs and a community of discerning house enthusiasts share a truly special week of music.

The album Defected In The House Croatia truly reflects what the new festival is all about. Our debut Croatia release comes in three parts, with each side mixedby a producer not only taking their place on this year's line-up but also making genuine waves in the house music world right now.
