Sleeve004 is a collection of six of the best tracks selected by Sleeve Records from Luca Palmerini's work, made in Italy in the 90s. An essential record for club music lovers.

Omar S treats us to a second release in the space of a week, with a much deserved reissue of some 1996 Roy Davis Jnr rawness across the A Side. The Stevie Wonder classic "All I Do" gets chopped up, laid over a killer Chi town beat filled with instantly gratifying raw drum edits and augmented by some evil bass thumps. Relentlessly brilliant and sounds just as fresh some 14 years on. Echoing a current trend this side plays outwards from the inside groove. On the flip Omar S teams up with DJ B Len D for the bongo heavy deep groove of "Da Teys" a track that's characterised by melodic keys which increase with curveball drama as the track progresses.

King of Town (KoT), originally from Johannesburg but now in the UK, is back after a nearly a decade hiatus from his mutant disco-inflected remixes.

Prior to his long break, King of Town remixed the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Slow Club, Alice Russell, the Detachments and the Phenomenal Handclap Band.
His remix of Desmond and the Tutus' 'Kiss You on the Cheek', released on Tigersushi in 2009, has become a regular feature of Spotify playlists and has racked up a few million listens across various streaming platforms.

For this release KoT serves up four exclusive re-edits.

Lord Have Mercy is a retouch of Willie West's slow-burn R&B lament of his own elegiac defiance, where KoT underpins West's groove with a 303 acid bassline and synth flourishes.
Swimming in Your Eyes is a beefing up of Pasteur Lappe's 1979 Rhodes-heavy space disco groove.
Troubles of this World takes OV Wrights ridiculously soulful take on a gospel classic and transforms it into a retro-futurist track aimed firmly at the dancefloor.
And with Khomo Tsaka Deile Kae KoT nods towards his roots and inserts drive and snap into fellow South African Marumo's 1982 kwela-touched stomper.

As always the artwork has been completed by the very talented Pedro Carvalho de Almeida.

Named after their infamous Brixton club night, Basement Jaxx’s second album Rooty saw Basement Jaxx continue to push the boundaries of pop and club music. The album mixes classic house with generous lashings of punk, funk, R&B, jazz, hip hop, 2-step and pop song-craft in a mad genre crash that works like a charm. It features the massive tracks “Where’s Your Head At”, “Romeo” and “Do Your Thing”.

Toolroom present a very special collaboration between Mark Knight and label regular Rene Amesz. The artists last collaborated with their big impactful single 'Live Stream' alongside Green Velvet (2017) which has gone on to achieve more than 3 Million + global streams. Mark Knight comes hot off the back of the lockdown anthem 'If It’s Love' which not only went viral socially, but continues to stream impressive numbers globally.

Mark goes back to his Soulful roots once again here and utilises that classic bassline and sax riff from Brick’s ‘Living From Your Mind’ meaning the house heads out there will be able to connect instantly, but also due to its instant appeal the younger generation will appreciate it’s creative vibe at the same time. The record is set to continue to highlight Mark Knight’s more soulful house roots and follows his desire to create timeless dance records that stand the test of time! On March 24th, in 1992, German act Snap! released their international awarded album “The Madman’s Return“, which includes the singles Colour of Love, Exterminate, Do You See The Light and their worldwide hit Rhythm Is A Dancer. The album proves Snap!’s special flair for massive dance beats, driving lyrics and beautiful vocal lines. From the album’s opening number Madman’s Return to the end, the synthesizers will make you move to the dancefloors of the 90s. The track “Keep It Up” has been originally produced for the movie soundtrack of Rocky 5.
The album charted in more than 10 countries and was awarded with Gold and Platinum.

Celebrating 30 years The Madman’s Return will be released remastered as 2LP set on transparent red and yellow vinyl on October 21st 2022.

Shall Not Fade regular THEOS returns, this time teaming up with his brother El Rod. NMW EP shows the brothers love of deep, techy goodness on this killer 4 tracker. Also featuring a killer remix from artists of the moment Oden & Fatzo on the B-SIDE.

Four tantalising cuts taken from the forthcoming full-length album ‘Operation Disco' that Greg ‘Dr’ Packer has put together for Z Records. On an unstoppable run recently, the quality shows no sign of slowing down as Packer showcases his talent for splicing and dicing tracks.

Sounds vary from the original 80s synthesised boogie of Colors, the early disco house of ‘Love Fantasy’, through to the mid-tempo grooves of Sunburst Band featuring Leroy Burgess. All reworked by the good Doctor. That’s right, this EP is just packed full of Packer.

Ralph Falcon last collaborated with Victoria Wilson James on the Number 1 Billboard charting tune “I Need Someone.”

With its distinctively hypnotic, dark pulsating beat and haunting vocal, “I Need Someone” went from being a Club Space Miami anthem to a worldwide club hit. Now Ralph is back with Victoria Wilson James on a new song that is destined for greatness but with even more potential given the unending worldwide demand for fresh house sounds.

“Fade Away” has all the unique sonic elements that Ralph Falcon fans have come to expect over the years. Heavy Kick drums combined with synth sounds that you wont find in any software program. Ralph’s sounds are creations that only he could produce. This vinyl release gets a uniquely international remix treatment. Included are a remix from Ralph’s Murk partner Oscar G, rising Dutch producer star Dennis Quin, and emerging French producer star Ténéré.

Audio Soul Project is back with their latest vinyl-only EP, Simurgh. With a title inspired by the mythical Persian bird, these four tracks fuse elements of house, R&B, dub, and drum & bass to create an ecstatic and hypnotic experience.

The EP kicks off with "Deliver Me," a dreamy house track with warm filtered chords and bouncing synth bass. R&B female vocal ad libs pepper the groove and the refrain "Deliver Me" adds a sense of yearning. The percussion, including morphing 4x4 and breakbeat drums, piano and synth stabs, nod to the cerebral Detroit and Chicago house compositions of the mid 90s.

"Azizam Dub" takes a more stripped-down approach with a subsonic bass line bump and Juno 106 stabs. Frantic percussion and deftly cut vocal samples accent the ebbs and flows of the arrangement, making for a dynamic and engaging dance.

The B-side of the record starts with "Internal Vybrations," a bass-heavy drum & bass track that winds and jumps with multiple layers of deep, fluttering bass and ambient pads and strings. Percussion layers like hi-hats, shakers, and maracas lift and relax the rhythm in parallel to the rest of the composition, making for a hypnotic and trance-inducing vibe.

The B2 track on the EP, "Celebration Dub," is a bass-heavy swinging house track with ecstatic diva "Whooo" samples that punctuate the ups and downs of the groove's energy. Classic reggae and dub-influenced vocal samples and heavy tape delay on certain key instruments add to the joyful and uplifting vibe of the track. The keyboard

and string section can transport a dancer to other realms of consciousness if they let themselves go to the groove.

Simurgh is a masterful fusion of various genres that showcases Audio Soul Project's production prowess and ability to create an entrancing sonic journey.

A sound that defies time and spans generations The Flirts – Passion was yet another Bobby Orlando production spun in clubs around the world.

Orlando conceived the idea for the Flirts in the early 80’s, wrote the songs, played the instruments, and produced the tracks. He then auditioned girls to be the faces of the group. Orlando released six studio albums under The Flirts name from 1982–1992 and numerous singles.

What many describe as trouser opening 80’s dance this sound has a drive and power within its relative simplicity. This release has three newly remixed and mastered versions by Ben Liebrand., who needs no further introduction. The ‘Sweet-N-Simple’ & ‘Midnight’ Mixes are todays interpretation of how The Flirts will conquer the clubs again, whilst the Ben Liebrand Old School Mix is the pick of the bunch with its super phat synth work, rock-steady, and bringing that original Bobby Orlando feel back!

Three years after Reno Wurzbacher’s entry into the series, Cook Strummer now offers up his own Berlin Gets Physical, a collection of all-new and exclusive tracks.

Berlin-based, Belgium-born Strummer has been a Get Physical associate for several years. He has dropped various singles including the standout 'Rising' which also featured on the Words Don't Come Easy series, and always crafts the perfect mix of rhythm and melody with plenty of hints of his homeland's famous cold wave sound. He often uses his own voice, drum machines, synths and guitars in his music, and since his debut album in 2018 on LOK Recordings, he has had high profile support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Adam Port and Ame. This summer, he dropped 'Atmosphere' on Obsolet Records which proved another successful outing and now Berlin Gets Physical finds him digging deep into the famous city's freshest and most essential house sounds across 15 well-sequenced tracks.

His own new offering 'For Berlin' kicks off with a dark and edgy vibe, gothic vocals and tense drums. Glitchy hits and blurting synths add to the prickly atmosphere and immediately lock you in while Los Cabra & Manuel Sahagun's 'Italian Groove' then takes off on waves of serrated dark disco synths and Freudenthal feat. Nowhere People continue that macho disco vibe with the rugged chug and cosmic rays of 'Cipher.'

The twinkling 'Bad Karma' by Marvin Jam & Le Mythe then allows you to catch your breath with a slower, more spacious dub disco sound and the twanging bass riffs and exotic effects of Daniel Jaeger & Valenti's 'Quarantine Cowboys' rebuilds the atmosphere with some innovative house blues. The mid-section brings brain-frying synth work on 'Out Of The Blue', bubbling dub house and disco courtesy of dramasquad's sprawling 'ziggy' and percussive deep house looseness from 'Abayomi.'

After KEENE's rubbery and rolling Afro sounds comes more cosmic house richness from Dan Buri and Max Joni & MUKKIMIAU, the driving tech of Red Pig Flower & Lulla and heady sounds of Mike Book. There is a raw house heaviness to FreedomB's 'State of Shock' and things shut down with Electronic Elephant's tightly coiled minimal drum funk on 'Ask Yourself'.

This on point collection is an authentic snapshot of the contemporary underground sound of the Berlin.

Colombian multi-talent (Musician, producer and dj) Felipe Gordon isup next on the Clone Royal Oak Series! 4 classy deep house cuts that land in that sweet spot of the deeper, jazz infused stylings of Chicago and even a bit of the catchy French House vibes of the mid 90's. Felipe takes these influences and expertly crafts irresistible grooves and sounds into a modern take on house music.

In a very special edition of our Basement Tracks series, house legends Alan Fitzpatrick and DJ Deeon team up on a Chicago-inspired house track, later flipped by Shall Not Fade family member, DJOKO.

A figure who needs little introduction, Alan Fitzpatrick has long been electrifying dance floors with his big-room selections and production. This EP sees the tech-house icon collaborate with the equally illustrious DJ Deeon on a track which gleams from the Chicago producer's musical heritage in juke and Ghetto house. "Shake That Thang" cruises along a deep house beat whilst Deeon's unmistakable vocal chops float over the top, offering a blissed-out take on the genre before Cologne's house music stalwart DJOKO who brings the funk on a buoyant flip. Rounding things off, "Learning to Love" sees Fitzpatrick fly solo with a sunshine-doused melody and euphoric drops. This one's sure to be heard on festival stages all across the globe this summer.

Purple Disco Machine unveils sophomore album ‘Exotica’ in all of its disco glory.

With the release of his debut LP ‘Soulmatic’ released in 2017 via Sweat It Out, Purple Disco Machine gave us the first glimpse of what we could come to expect from the now world renowned producer. Responsible for a multitude of hit singles from the club world including ‘My House’, with the debut LP also birthing the massive successes of ‘Devil In Me’, and ‘Body Funk’.

Now the formidable producer offers a more intimate side to his artistry, inviting us into the world of his sophomore album ‘Exotica’. The lead ‘Riptide’, features original vocals from synth-pop trailblazer and founder of New Order/Joy Division Bernard Sumner. A slice of euphoria streaked with melancholy,

'Big Eff Off Groove' was the first track of the EP to be released as a single, following on it's massive Summer of 2022 where it garnered support across some of the biggest festival stages and clubs internationally. Mella Dee speaking on the record describes it as “Exactly what it says, heavy hitting no frills groove, complete with full on dubbed out effects. Enjoy.”!

Followed up with two cuts of rolling house music on track 'Find Love Yourself', the 'Deeper Love Mix' explores Mella Dee’s affinity for the murkier corners of dance music, whilst the original mix is a deep-in-the-dance groover paired with a haunting Little Dragon vocal sample.

Harrison BDP embarks on the sixteenth expedition into the exotic lands of palm trees and blue skies with the ambient and spacey 'Be Like Water' EP for Shall Not Fade sister-label Lost Palms. Expedition sixteen features four jams packed full of dystopian-esque pads, crunchy drum sequences and ambient soundscapes.

The Blessed Madonna has remixed Dua Lipa’s ‘Levitating’ featuring Missy Elliott and Madonna.

This is the first track from ‘Club Future Nostalgia’, an entirely remixed version of Dua Lipa's global #1 album “Future Nostalgia”, created in collaboration with The Blessed Madonna.

After the happily received and critically acclaimed Running Back Mastermix retrospective of Hamburg's seminal Front club by Klaus Stockhausen & Boris Dlugosch, another look at the playlists, hits, classics and unclassics is overdue. Now, the menu is solely set to the nineties - well after Stockhausen's departure and into Dlugosch's prime at said club.
Starting the dance is the sought-after evergreen Deep Introspection. Produced by Rob Mello and Zaki Dee for the legendary Jump Cutz series on their Luxury Service outfit in 1995, it's as ageless as deep house can be and on heavy rotation since its release. Same goes for Agitate It by Body Moods from 1993. Still an insider tip, and touched by the hands of Jazz-N-Groove it wouldn't sound out of place on a Louie Vega tape from that time.
The flip comes with DJ Disciple's Street Experience from 1993 and its Todd-Terry-esque Hide-A-Way. Snare roll, please. Rounding off with two home made co-productions by Boris Dlugosch himself: the remix for U96's Come Together (yes, the one from the submarine-movie-score-sampling techno chart topper Das Boot) and his exclusive edit for VDT Strangest Music. Both proofing the fact that to what seems odd at the beginning (if classic US house is the indicator), can withstand the test of time and even gradually mature. Rmx of famous track “Dance On The Groove And Do The

Italian purveyor of the deep sound Ruff Stuff is dropping another 4 tracker on his homonymous Ruff Stuff Music label.

Italian producer Ruff Stuff - which has already released on labels like Shall Not Fade, Sloth Boogie, Madhouse - returns with a self produced record on his Ruff Stuff Music label.

The EP is a solid mixture of tracks showcasing 2 sides of the producer's sound: the more dancefloor oriented one on the A Side vs the deeper and housier one on the B side.

Each of the tracks expresses in its unique way Ruff's own style and inspiration: the A side is composed by DJ tools, with 'High Club Alive' inspired by French Touch and the deeper 'Badass Groove’.

30 years ago Dutch trance duo Lex van Coeverden and Rene van der Weyde penned one of dance music’s most distinctive yet underrated hits ‘Waterfall’.

There have been several reincarnations over the years but now it’s the turn of retro remix king Dr. Packer to get to grips with this gem. He stays true to the original, beefing up the groove and adding a late-night pulsating bassline. A fine remix that brings the track bang up to date. The Disco Dandies are also called in. As one would expect, they add an upbeat disco groove with a looped percussive groove, disco stabs and phasey bass line – again the original melodies sit on top perfectly and make this version a winner!

It started with a night out at New York’s Sound Factory - and turned into an obsession, Inner City main man Kevin “Reese” Saunderson and his then manager, Neil Rushton, were at the NY uber house club when The Pressure by The Sounds Of Blackness got its’ debut World play, with the ecstatic response from the crowd meaning it was spun three times in a row.

Nobody was more knocked out than Kevin who vowed there and then to come up with a Detroit answer, much to the delight of Soul mad Rushton, co-owner of the Network label.

The idea of The Reese Project was quickly turned into House Heaven reality as Kevin recruited Detroit vocalist diva Rachel Kapp to record the anthemic Direct Me & The Colour Of Love as the first two singles.

Network made the group a main priority, coming with a whole slew of remixes to complement the original USA mixes on the subsequent album. Three of the most loved Network remixes are on this wonderful timeless 12.

The Dave Lee Joey Negro mix from 1991 is rated by many as one of Network’s finest moments, and maybe Lee’s finest ever “remixed with extra production” epics.
Rushton remembers meeting Lee to collect the remix, and instantly phoning Saunderson proclaiming “you won’t believe this”.

Underground Resistance’s Mike Banks added his magic to the 1991 original mixes of “The Colour Of Love” and the results were so overwhelming great that the idea of subsequent remixes was daunting.but the classic 1994 Network remix by The Playboys flew the flag for U.K. House.

C.J, Mackintosh set the production standards for U.K. Soul filled House and his 1993 remix of “So Deep” - sung by La’Trece - is a gem to be cherished forever and a day.

Network’s passionate crusade to crossover The Reese Project from House Music superstars to Pop success came tantalising close but never quite happened. But the Network remixes are a glorious legacy of House Music’s golden age and three of the very finest are remastered here and presented on one glorious 12.
