Golden Gate Club Records presents the second "Golden Gate Quartett VA“.

Four different acts and a diverse collection of tracks from Minimal, Deep Tech to Acid House.
One of them, is Mothership, a collective, with Jakob Seidensticker, Boronas and Snad, presenting their Track „Buy or Die“.
A very interesting peace of music of spacy and drifty sounds, driven by jazzy rhythmic elements and a dubby soundscape. The Belgium producer and DJ Jerome.c, delivers a rather dry and minimalistic track with his origin attribute of a dominant beat, pushing you back and forth, wrapping you in a hypnotic loop and making you shake in trance.

A second collective on this compilation is Rozin & Kahru. Rozin, better know as the experienced producer Tyler Brunton met Kahru, a young DJ and producer from Liverpool at the Golden Gate Club in Berlin. Both became residents at the club and realized their common music taste, leading them to studio sessions and resulting in some great productions.

An outstanding track is given us by Tim Etzel, a rising young talent from Mannheim. With his track „Acid Feelings“, he is showing a fresh, joyful and contemporary interpretation of Acid, that makes smily just going wild.

The fast rising FUTURA imprint from Leon, releases its new release from Mexican DJ Producer Mike.D with stellar remixes from Len Lewis and Do Or Die to complete the package .



Salomon Records founder Mike.D hails from Juarez Chihuahua, and is considered one of the new generation talents of DJs and producers from northern Mexico. His music selection and mixing abilities have given him the opportunity to play at the legendary Mexican venue Hardpop for many years. As a producer he’s released on labels like Kanja Records, Kina Music, The Lab, Dream Culture and more which has cemented his place in the scene. His music is regularly supported and played by the likes of Arapu, Sepp, Cosmjn, Maher Daniel, Mihai Pol, Sublee, YokoO and more.


For his debut release on Futura, he drops 2 originals the first of which is the title track ‘Mente Trascendente’. An edgy minimal deep tech house track with a grooving electronic bassline, deep atmospheric pads, classy beat pattern all combining to create an elegant 8 minute journey. The second on the package is Len Lewis’s remix of ‘Mente Trascendente’. Len Lewis released his first track back in ‘93 on Jumpin & Pumpin, which then led to records on the likes of the legendary Swag. Lewis’ designated name for his sound is, SiTH, Sinister Tech House, claiming its mysterious name after a Mixmag reviewer used this description for his music many years ago. His remix fits this name perfectly, powerful low bassline drives the track effortlessly, and smooth breakdown combining with eerie incidentals and pads, treated vocal cuts providing the signature hook for the track. This is a remix that’s perfect for the heads in the scene.



Next up we have ‘Sendero Interno’. The original mix is a pure minimal work out right from the outset. The stripped back and delicate beats use popping sounds for filling the frequencies, and work perfectly against the backdrop of the brooding pads and synths make this an classy introspective underground track, which is everything the Futura label is about. To round things off we have the final remix which comes from My Own Jupiter DJ Producer, Do Or Die. Well known for producer techno and electro the fast rising producer, delivers an acid house sci-fi esq work out on this remix with punching beats cutting through the mix, whilst retaining the brooding synths and samples from the original and adding in some special vocal cuts to keep this remix unique and perfect for the floor.

Relevant recordings have been produced and are available now via both 12' vinyl and digital mediums.

A1 - ´Going In Hard´ is a peak time, groggy bomb with bit of something for everyone! The track welcomes a whole host of synth lines and keeps on lifting throughout its 6+ main duration.

A2 - Snatch - Josh welcomes a hypnotising bassline for his second track on the EP as he showcases a more dubbed out, simplistic side.

B1 - Truth Expression comes with a static but driving bassline throughout the whole song and a lead sound that takes you on a path through different moods and themes. Accompanied with professor like vocals and the occasional old skool rave sounds his rounds up for a high energy track for peaks sets.

B2 - Kilobyte Cafe takes a different direction after an intro full of suspense. The bassline makes up the track's main theme and gets complemented by a similar but stripped back sequenced lead sound resulting in a quirky track full of fluffy drums, trance arpeggiators and playful organs.

Known for their deep minimal productions with an edge of the unknown, the two embark on a journey with this Reggae inspired “Iz No Good”. A deep warmth and positivity evolves and grows throughout the composition. “An Da Le” introduces some passionate latin riffs while “Wis Pe Ra” equally morphs the EP together and lets you glide into dark and gloomy textures that represent the firm underground of Paris in its essence balancing light and darkness. To top it all off, the producer Crihan has remixed the title track of the EP to give it the typical Romanian depth and psychedelic soundscapes we have come to love and respect so much.

Fifth release with dusty jams from the Swedish label run by Per Hammar. Edvin Wikner’s ”Skritt” comes as an original, together with remixes from fellow Scandinavian S.A.M., Rowlanz and Per Hammar himself.

The original has been a frequently dropped club weapon among Per Hammar and his friends for a while before he decided to snatch the track to Dirty Hands before someone would reach for it.

Wikner is a Swedish artist who runs the Instance club and Maraton label, a talent that has a refined sound and slick technique that leads to some absorbing rhythms and classy house grooves, as this new one proves.

The opener track is a bubbling deep house groove with deft percussion sprinkled over a warped bassline that keeps on pulling you in. It is mind melting and hypnotic, sure to build a real vibe amongst a club setting. The Rowlanz remix smooths it out into something dreamy and atmospheric, with gorgeous sci-fi pads drifting about in the distance, sinking you into a reverie.

The Dirty Hands founder, Per Hammar, then comes correct with a remix which gets busier and more driving, with supple drums and wavy bass all working you into a tasteful minimal lather, a direction we are familiar with from fellow Swedish man. Last of all, S.A.M. gets freaky with a trippy after-hours vision that is dubbed out deep techno with haunting vocal whispers and subtle sound designs that all occupy your mind. A well rounded and killer EP, with a variety of producers showing their cards.

Kapture returns with their second installment, an intriguing 4-tracker EP from upcoming duo Haokah, that also includes an impressive remix from Arapu.

RE.FACE LIMITED has come to its 9th vinyl output which sees label head Toguè finally releasing on his baby. The Italian DJ and producer delivers three club missiles within which sonic atmospheres and enchanted twisted synths are free to take the skies above heady grooves and bulbous basslines. The label also welcomes Berlin-based Lorenzo Chiabotti who enrich "Cosmic Echoes" with some modular magic and a pinch of pure Italian flavor.

Attracting attention from world-renowned DJs such as Daniel Bell, Rhadoo, Brawther, Samuel Deep and Mariano Mateljan, Nagoya based label RICE will be dropping it third edition. With high expectation, this third edition is a solo EP that will be a debut by Masa, a track maker who also works as a live duo Shibamasa with Shiba whose work previously released from Rice. Gradually builds up base with a bottom, bounced hat, unique synth and voice samples as A side. Rhythmic B side pulls while driving with fluffy shuffle and tricky tone. Both are bouncy DJ friendly tracks which are compiled fully with fun and ideas.

The Cobblestone Jazz trio team up with kindred spirit The Mole for a double single of cascading grooves and stretched-out club burners.
It’s been over 20 years since the first Cobblestone Jazz EP, and Danuel Tate, Mathew Jonson, and Tyger Dhula continue to unravel expectations, creating outside-the-box rhythms and shifting, explorative musical structures for the dancers. It’s an approach that has seen them play countless shows at festivals and clubs around the world, while reinventing their style on the fly, and whipping up a timeless blend of classic and modern sounds.

For this single they're joined by friend, bandmate and hypnotic discotheque collagist The Mole. Hip Waders comes from one of the group’s long studio sessions, and this gem of a jam was laid to tape after a couple days of playing. Usually the group likes to set the studio up first (tuning the room, picking their instruments and setting up the patch bay), before exploring and recording musical ideas over the rest of the week. Although bouncing along at 120bpm, Hip Waders still strides into deep waters, courtesy of jazzy, tremolo chords that ripple across its skittish electronic groove, which constantly unfolds across a full 13 minutes.

In contrast, the B-side isn’t so meditative, but rather more classically arranged, and sprinkled with some live passes over the top. Does Yo Mama Know ups the tempo and rolls along on a broken, garage rhythm, before a sweet descending organ progression pulls the pulse into tighter focus. The title is in fact a nod to the Hollywood club that West Coast house pioneer Marques Wyatt did in the mid ‘90s - all about the music and sound, no lights except for those of the 1200s, and a killer vibe.

In this way, the 12” is split along true Cobblestone fault lines - a contrast of long-winding and concise, macro and micro, vintage yet (re)inventive. Cobblestone Jazz and The Mole find the pocket as they always do: those coordinates somewhere between the dance music of the past and the present, while adding a twist to create new, forward-looking versions.

Vids of said tune have created a veritable feeding frenzy in Track ID groups. Speculation of its origins can now be put to rest. It’s new. It’s on their label. And it’s absolutely essential!

Argentinean - Berlin based emerging talent producer Lakeman, delivers his debut EP titled Inner Rythms on the second release of Federico Molinari and Dfunklub’s imprint Hold On Catalina.
Six trippy and effective tracks for all moods, that go from downtempo, to dub, house and electro with analog sounds that reminds the 80’s euro electronic scene.

The mysterious trio Pandilla LTD provide the first release on Ozy, a new sub-label run by Miguel Melo from Lisbon’s Carpet & Snares family. Never ones to tread the easiest path, Pandilla show off their full range of moods and tempos on this 4-tracker, opening with the jazzy and glitchy breaks of vignette ‘Beat Untitled’. This leads into ‘aWARe’, a downtempo epic of cinematic ambience and released tension that contrasts with the more dancefloor-ready cuts on the B. With its patient dubby tick-tock, ‘Mind Trick’ feels like a long-lost Basic Channel side-project, while the more extrovert ‘Trying To Go’ closes things in style with a shimmy and a shake.

Into The Woods marks the start of a brand new journey in its history with an iconic three-track EP from one of the most versatile producers in the scene, Sepp. 'About Us' leads the way as an iconic end-of-summer anthem, whilst 'Kiss' and "Delta Quandrant' standout as underground dancefloor bombs with twisted vocals, sharp basslines and unique drum patterns that keep the body moving.

Valencia based “only vinyl” label delivers a new installment after the success of TS004 by Silat Beksi & Florian Meffert.

This time a VA collaboration between the rominimal maestro Direkt, Miami based underground stars Amo & Lulla + executive producer, label owner & mastering engineer of this release Alex Font.

Borde05 sigue sorteando los lugares más comunes de la música electrónica actual, expresándose en texturas deli y ritmos refinados. Evocando una especie de lenguaje antiguo en “Sucre” y su rito extrasensorial, el tema en manos de Vince (UY) abre el lanzamiento de forma dinámica y un tanto impredecible, de esqueleto mínimal pero con el alma house, este track es ideal para el comienzo de cualquier dj set. Inmediatamente después, los acordes junto a unos sutiles hihats dan bienvenida al tema “BeB” de Antonio Lentini alias Ezzy (ITA), cargado con una vibra de influencia electro y una progresión de acordes que destila una especia de nostalgia positiva, es la pausa meditativa necesaria para el cierre del lado A.

Al comienzo de la cara B, “Global Heat”. La voz de Camilo Castaldi alias Tea-Time (CHI) tratada con efectos y sobre-grabaciones, habla sobre la sociedad actual y su relación tóxico-dependiente con la tecnologia, animales encerrados y contaminación infinita, invita a la reflexión y toman por sorpresa cualquier pista. Esta composición de ritmo dub pero de pulso uptempo ha sido producida por el dúo chileno Area 51 (Rodrigo Valdivia & Camilo Gil). Eso nos llevará al final de este V.A,"See You" es una conclusión ambient con matices IDM y unas progresiones melódicas en eterno ascenso en una amena despedida del disco, ideal para el cierre de cualquier set, una obra hermosa creada por el artista Sasha Nevolin (CZ).

Andrew Macari joins up with Paka Project for a first outing on the fledgling Greenhouse Recordings labels here and delves deep into some true-school deep house. 'Beeston Fields Drive' is a warm and diffuse opener that rolls on loopy drums with balmy chords melted over the top.

'Hold Dat' has jazzy motifs and funky bass riffs down low that remind of early West Coast tech house sounds from the likes of Fresh & Low and 'All We Need' then layers up r&b samples and even more smooth and silky late-night chords into a real smoocher.

'PR Process' ends on low-slung and lumpy drums and spoken word samples run through with dubby chords.
