Moon Harbour is delighted to announce the Autumn 2016 release of Momentum, the second full length album
from label boss Matthias Tanzmann. Arriving eight years after his debut LP Restless, the outstanding follow-up
impressively demonstrates that his artistic restlessness has not been decreasing over the last couple of years.
On the contrary, Momentum undoubtedly proves once more that Matthias' impact on the scene is still steadily
growing with an end not in sight and that his efforts to advance are ever moving forward.
Recent times have found Matthias having huge success via fruitful collaborations with the likes of Martin
Buttrich, Davide Squillace and Daniel Stefanik, amongst others, but now back on his own and more energetic
than ever, he is firing on all cylinders as a solo artist. Loosely rooted in a variety of house styles, Momentum
shows a subtle return to some of Tanzmann's earliest musical roots. Just as Matthias declares himself, It is stuff
to listen to at home, stuff I like to listen to away from the club', before adding that, of course, it also contains
tracks that are 100% what I love playing in my DJ sets.'
The ten track release is an impulsive and emotionally moving affair that offers a fantastic snapshot into the
current musical mind of the artist. With a process initially starting during his times abroad in Thailand and South
America, this most coherent and complete album has been slowly coming together over the last five years. In
customary manner, the album is quite different to a normal EP from the German producer, given that it features
plenty of deeper and more cerebral moments than most of his past works.
With a perfect mixture between listening pleasure and pure dancefloor material, Momentum contains tracks
ranging from deep and broody house style with warm pads streaming over infectious drums to serene and
atmospheric jams with real funk in their bones. Next to more downtempo sultry house vibes, the harder, more
freaky tunes will get floors bumping with their punchy drums, wiggling synths, drilling bass and loopy vocal
sounds. With more soul infused party grooves rounding up the experience, the release truly brings along the
whole range of carefully plotted ups and downs necessary for casting the listener under a hypnotic and heartfelt
spell of house music.

The album will be celebrated with a worldwide release tour from October to December 2016, highlighting once
more that only a few have the exact same sense of electronic music artistry as this man does.

This year we got 100 releases , we never though that we will arrive so long with the label and also enjoying it as much as we do releasing all cain of artists and music always close to our Minimalistic mental sound. So to celebrate this number hundred we will release 2 vinyl one now and a second one at the end of the year ,beginning of next one having inside some of the artists that have released with us. The release will be a full Vinyl only with no digital release or promo. If you want it you get it in this format. Between the artists for this first one Bolumar , Juan Zolbaran together with Deep Mariano and label boss Eddy Romero. We hope this one makes you feel where we will go next year with our ten years of the label.

The first vinyl of the label Variété Music starts the journey with a 3 track VA release. On the A-Side with a groovy dancefloor track from Jakob Seidensticker, Snad, Boronas, its dreamy melodic parts will send you out of this world while the tight groove keeps you dancing. The B1 by Gorbani & Amae presents a groovy oldschool touched house banger, that will keep you moving for sure. The B2 presents Drea, he delivers a more breaky and dub beat touched track with a driving bassline and interesting melodic elements when it starts to get late as usual.

This mirror-like musical progression starts with lots of dynamics and harmonies which then continue with a more sonically tranquil section while heading towards a dynamic ending, thus completing the symmetry and binding both parts in a seamless album.

Eliptic returns with the third chapter... Frequency & Harmony EP signed by the man himself, Timofti, a talented producer who has enjoyed a tremendous success with his previous release.

On the A-side you'll find the deep and rolling 'Frequency Delusion', where fluttering, outer-space ambient synths drift around a crunchy rhythm track rich in fizzing electronics, solid snares and angry bassline.

B-side 'Counter Of Harmony' is, if anything, even deeper. Featuring a bolder bassline, the bubbly electronic melodies and incredible synths, FX's and voices, it's arguably the more satisfying of the two tunes.

Originally released on Montreal's long defunct Intr_version label in 2001, Primordia was Scott Monteith's first foray into the album format, and some 13 years on serves as a remarkable document of the driving aesthetic touchstones which even at this early stage were bubbling to the surface and have gone on to define the sound of his Deadbeat project in the many years since. Over the course of 7 colossal slabs of crackling digital atmospheres and rumbling drone, a dirge of muted kick drums serve as the only steady anchor in a sea of wildly unhinged and naive sound experimentation, with the whole lovely mess plummeting into a endless cloud of decaying echos, granular processing, and cracked software reverb plugins. With it's production coinciding with the first years of his tenure at the Montreal based music software company Applied Acoustics systems, Primordia is the sound of the young dub Padawan reveling in the endless possibilities of modular software synthesis, and relishing each and every new discovery and mistake along the way.

Re-released on CD and for the first on lavish double vinyl with remastering by long time friend and cohort Stefan Betke aka Pole, Primordia is an essential cornerstone in Monteith's now vast catalog, and a must have addition to the collection of any serious dub techno historian.

Dass Mathias Kaden durchaus weiß, wie eine gelungene Mix-CD auszusehen hat, stellte der Vollblut-DJ und House-Enthusiast bereits 2011 bei der Zusammenstellung der Groove-CD Nummer 40 unter Beweis. Für die 14. Watergate-Compilation bannte er Ende vergangenen Jahres schließlich erneut ein schlüssiges Set auf CD, das zeitgemäße Releases mit immergrünen Klassikern vereint und so auch in einer Samstagnacht in dem Spreeufer-Club sowie überall sonst funktionieren würde. Nicht zuletzt dank der drei darauf befindlichen exklusiven und zuvor unveröffentlichten Tracks von Rodriguez Jr, Marco Resmann und Christian Burkhardt. Die gibt es nun endlich auch auf Vinyl, erhältich über Freude Am Tanzen, gemacht für den Einsatz im Club oder auf den anstehenden Festivals und Open-Airs des Sommers. Limited to 200 copies, this release is the third of the 5 12" from the Thomas Brinkmann Retrospektiv 5xlp box set. The 5 individual 12" will be released through 2018/19. Thomas Brinkmann is one of the great producers of Techno music and modern dance music. He initially gained notoriety in the experimental electronic music and Techno community for his full-length 'variations' of material by Wolfgang Voigt under his Mike Ink moniker, and Richie Hawtin. The variations were made by playback of the original artist records on a turntable of Brinkmann's design, which has two tone arms with separate outputs for left and right channels. The turntables were then pitched down from 33rpm to 27rpm and the results recorded and mixed. Both Voigt and Hawtin were sufficiently impressed they released the results on their own labels. Since then Thomas Brinkmann has produced some all-time classic dance tracks, many of which are collected here in what is a personal selection by Thomas Brinkmann himself. There are unreleased tracks, different versions, and tracks that have never been released on vinyl.

It was just a question of time to reach the point when Wayne considers himself to be the one to create a musical statement in order to show what he thinks about all the current status of some parts of the electronic dancemusic circus. He still suffers from too much so called 'minimal' in his eyes and he wants back the energy he is missing on many occasions... 'You know, techno without bass is like f...... without screwing him in...' Some might say he`s too late with this song, but that`s simply Wayne! In his universe the meaning of time is different to what we all would expect. Anyway, he finally checked out Garage Band on the Mac he recently "lended" from somebody he does not even know, and here we go with his first very own song. Lyrics in german only and heavily inspired by one of the biggest hits from the 80ies from the german cult-formation "Trio", but to make a long story short: it`s Wayne`s message that the so called "minimal" sound is definitely over now: "Always klick and always klack, I can not tell how much it sucks..."

Following their highly successful debut release 'Visions', industry brand Unic are back with a truly magical follow up. Channeling the essence of 'Xanadu', that mysterious and idyllic place where nature rules supreme.. Romanian talent RQZ takes centre stage as he flexes his production prowess across three transportive slices of minimalist techno. Once again Juli Jah delivers a stunning visual accompaniment for this highly collectible release.

This rock solid tech-house four-tracker marks the return to Norse Projekt of the brilliantly named Bertalan Bagylas, better known as Giash. The well-regarded producer begins his first NP 12" for three years with "Lyskamm", a gently undulating late night roller rich in glitchy noises, ricocheting percussion hits, strange noises and subdued orchestration. Bagylas serves up some deeper, darker and dubbier fare in the shape of "Urban Landscape", before alternating between Romanian style minimal techno grooves and spooky breakdowns on bleary-eyed cut "Balfrin". To round off the EP, Vincentiulian gives that track a loose, dreamy and gently positive tech-house makeover.

This is Glenn Storey's 2nd release on Jupiter Label which comes in the form of a four track EP on an exclusive purple vinyl limited to only 250 copies, across the four tracks the sound is Glenn's deep percussive house sound that has found its way into many a dj's selection over the last two years all across the UK, Ibiza and as far as South America.

"Wub yew" is a straight up club track with plenty of groove, built around a bassline and shuffling percussion and vocal. "Funk in the trunk" has a deep funk guitar bassline which drives the track along with a varied drum pattern which is held together with use of a trumpet and ride cymbal. "catacombs" is more of a slow burning affair with a rolling drum pattern and haunting sax breakdown. "nomaD" completes the four tracks with its quirky jazz samples.

The FireScope Records adventure goes from strength to strength with release number 8, and we are very proud to present on this label Mr Derek Carr. Established in Ireland in the early 90's Derek has released many ground breaking and classic EPS for labels such as 'For Those That Knoe', 'Revoke' & 'Why So Series'.

Born and raised in Westmeath, Ireland, Derek got an early taste for finely crafted melodic techno through compilations like Network's 'Bio-Rhythms' and Warp's 'Pioneers of the Hypnotic Groove'. Having been a fan of bands such as Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode through his formative years, Derek felt drawn to this new sound coming from Detroit.

In 2001 Derek launched his own label 'Trident Recordings' and released the 'Copper Beech e.p.' (the only release to date) a collection of deep soulful techno, it has since become something of a collector's item. Subsequent releases on 'Digital Soul' 'Headspace' 'Nice & Nasty' and 'Geek Records' further cemented Carr's place amongst a new generation of techno producers that looked to combine soul and melody with electronic dance floor grooves.

The EP entitled Distant Systems is a musical adventure for a quest for a new home land, a new planet, a new start, It is proper techno, proper melodies , beats and pads for this adventure. Derek is a master at creating thoughtful emotive and simply wonderful techno that fits in so naturally on FireScope Records

Following a three year hiatus from Cadenza, the label is delighted to welcome back Felipe Valenzuela and Dani Casarano for a third release on the Luciano's imprint. Both producers are respected individually for their prowess in the studio and as DJs, but as a combined force collaborate with magical effect in the studio. Together the pair run Melisma records and considers each other as musical soulmates. The pair's familiarity with dance floors across the world is reflected in these two tracks for Cadenza, continuing the labels rich musical history of electronic dance music fit for all purposes. 'Instinct' opens the release with an instant bubbling groove, supported by a groovy bass melody, crunching claps and shimmering rides, dancing around the tracks core rhythm. Subtle drum edits, reverberating snares and warm pads grab the listener's attention, whilst the tracks central rhythm maintains the pulse and lively feel of this exceptional production. A versatile slice of intricate house music that will find it's way into many sets this Summer. 'Impulse' sees the pair venture into more avant-garde territory; exploring themes of dissonance, syncopation and tension and release. Lo-fi electronics and discordant pianos notes create a unique pallet of sounds responding to each other. Offbeat string arrangements and shimmering synths evolve over the 14+ minutes track duration. Perfect headphone electronics with stacks of detail and fresh touches.

The EP's exorbitant success and it's makers constantly evolving sound brings their relationship into late summer 2011 as Cadenza announce their sixty seventh cut; the 'I Ching' solo EP from Felipe Venegas. The two track EP triggers with "I Ching" and its spell binding intro of thundering gong crashes and jangling bells, betraying an almost story like theme as sporadic tom's and intense brass melodies converse with one another intensely.

Fourth release on Floorpiece comes from Berlin based Just_Me with his 'Side Step' EP which comes with 2 massive remixes from Lorenzo Chiabotti and Cosmjn. Supported by Janeret, Arapu, Swoy, Monika Ross, Chad Andrew and more

Originally released in 2014, Luciano's 'The Great Amael' is an enchanting and endearing trip; a lo-fi bubbling groove and dusted Hammond organs that hustle along whilst live percussion cuts through the oceanic atmospherics. Two years on, and Cadenza Music call upon a brace of remixers to provide fresh and unique interpretations of this hidden gem in Luciano's catalogue. Having recently released his first album in over 10 years, Matthew Dear AKA Audion boldly steps up to the mantle and stamps his intelligent techno sound all over 'Amael' in the first of our remixes. Cutting a sprightly pace from the off, Audion melts stuttering sine waves and bulging tones over concrete beats, tweaking in the original organ riff and fathoms deep pads whilst adding additional vocal refrains as he playfully teases the arrangement before dropping a superb riff in his 'Backward Melody' Remix, which takes a most psychedelic and unexpected twist! Two other musical heavyweights collaborate on the second of the remixes; Phil Moffa and Seth Troxler are no studio strangers, having released a joint project on the British Hypercolour label last year, and remixed for Tiga a few months back. Their LSOS LOVE/GOD Remix builds from ambient beginnings, save for a rhythm carved out of spongy electronics, a sturdy beat kicking in and setting the controls destination unknown, as the duo steer through breathy vocal cuts and propelling bass, stripping the remix back before leaping back into hyperspace with some adventurous and dubbed out vibes, before coming back down for landing with those unmistakable pads from Luciano's original.

'Moonshine Heater' is the debut release from Marlowe, a new studio and live project from Laurent Bovey (AKA Laps). The title track is a crisp and melodious piece, the mechanical groove bubbling with dubby FX and heavy synth shots against the hypnotizing melody. On the flip, 'My Minds Mine' comes in a darker shade, paranoid synth sweeps and a brassy analogue riff weaves around a minimal yet funky drum arrangement. Another great groove from Marlowe, and capturing that classic early Cadenza sound perfectly. Wrapping up the release is 'Power Plant', another detailed and precise mood piece, deep and unique, taking it's time to build and take effect. Marlowe does not deal with 'bomb tracks', these are sophisticated tracks for the more discerning music fan. Marlowe AKA Laurent Bovey has amassed an impressive catalogue of work since the mid-2000s, solo and as part of Digitaline. Releases on Cadenza, Smallville and Cityfox have set the standards for minimal electronic music.

Six years on from his debut album on Cadenza, Mirko Loko returns to the fold with a follow up album ("Comet Plan") and a single ("Kolor"). 2009's 'Seventynine' long player helped catapult Mirko's profile, not only as a producer, but also as DJ, regularly spinning alongside the Cadenza crew, and with Detroit luminaries such as Derrick May and Carl Craig. And it's on this single that Mirko invites friend and peer, Carl Craig, to remix under his C2 guise. Wearing his influences on his sleeve, Mirko is obviously indebted to the techno music of the Motor City, and these classic Detroit tropes are certainly used in the building blocks of the original mix of 'Kolor", a sprawling and pacey intergalactic journey sprinkled with a dusting of xylophones, bells & chimes, as the melody is driven forward for a heady trip across the night skies. On the flip, Planet E founder, and highly respected Detroit electronic producer, Carl Craig, weighs in with the first of a two-part remix (part two features on the digital release of the single). Keeping the 4/4 framework of the original mix, and stripping back the percussion somewhat, the C2 Remix Part One is brimming with Craig's trademark sound, from the elastic synths and flanged percs to the heavy low end line that comes in about two thirds of the way through. A perfect introduction to many of the aural treats in store on the 'Comet Plan' album out on Cadenza in May.

Santo Sangre is a project by San Francisco-based artist, producer and DJ Gonzo Manuel. On its first release, Quetzal, perhaps a reference to the central-American bird with bright, ornate plumage Gonzo taps into a Latin-accented, tribal feel that is ably carried on rolling, syncopated percussion with an organic essence, a birdsong-like chant, sporadic and light bursts of actual song and haunting string chords that cut across the sound spectrum, adding dark energy and urgency to the track. This one will sit nicely out on its own, bringing a hybrid organic/robotic essence to the dance or would work equally well rinsed around in the mix, with all its elements appearing and disappearing at just the right time as a transition ascends and peaks.
Oakland producer Indy Nyles remix builds on the tribal theme by enhancing the syncopated aspect of the percussion. He augments this further with a pretty and drifting melody line composed of glassy keyboard sounds. The sense of drama this creates is boosted further by a breathy and repetitive voice sample. This concoction drives along nicely until around the 5 minute mark when Nyles drops a menacing, snaking thread of 303 bass, stabs of icey strings and echo and delay effects that amplify the shadowy, seductive allure of his remix. Its a new sounding track but the acid line and syncopation bring to mind some of the psychedelic, breakbeat classics of San Franciscos halcyon, rave era.
Rounding things up is the Slope 114 Remix. Here Dmitri Ponce and partner
Elise Gargalikis take the track on a house journey that is, like Indys mix, brand new sounding but possessed by the spirits of the classics. Elises vocal flourishes bring to the mind the Latin house, tribalist dynamism of Louie Vega and Indias River Ocean numbers while Dmitri nudges the bassline from chunk and funk to acid and massive without sacrifcing the subtlety of the maneuver. The subtle aspect being that a techno, a tech-house and a straight up house heads will be able to bounce this one to the box without leaving her generic comfort zone: the true mark of a classic.
This release is a strong start for this new artist, look out for more fire from this Bay Area talent

with our What We Like series a Various that will put together our fav underground artists. This time we
have V.I.C.A.R.I. the other side of Tommy Vicari Jnr , Frink and Eddy Romero owner of the label. As
you can listen also we going to keep a more housy sound into this format and we hope is in the likes of
yoall of you.
