The long awaited second release on Potency Records.

Cromby returns to his Potency label skilfully crafting three cuts to satisfy every mood on the dance floor. Whether you’re seeking to raise your hands in peak time euphoria, lose yourself in the hazy after-hour, or be consumed by the overflowing acid banger, Cromby’s got you covered.

‘Potency 002’ lands quickly after his second EP on Phantasy Sound, keeping the appetite satisfied and the momentum strong. Kicking things off with a huge presence is ‘Obsessed’, another coveted track from his Streaming From Isolation Boiler Room back-to-back with Sally C that’s set to make an impact in 2022. Kick drums with attitude meet slinky basslines, engulfing synths, all leading up to a drop built to send the rave into hysteria. ‘Body Rush’ is a low slung, moody after hours track, fit for smoky dance floors. ‘Cromby Excavator’ is a high energy acid cut, reaching heights of 140 bpm.

Emi Ömar has been, from his first steps at Recordeep, one of those versatile producers feeding from multiple influences and always in for some experiment. He does not hesitate to mix groovy old school sonorities to more contemporary notes, always with an efficient baseline. His performances are live oriented, and his tracks are often housy and always club friendly.

For his first release with Momo’s basement, Emi Ömar dropped 4 golden sounds. The EP is introduced with Humm, an electronic and freshly optimistic track, followed by Shuffle, an energetic piece that will put dancefloors on fire. The B face stands for bouncy, Doom Mouv and Oyé have influences so retro that nobody will stand quiet.

Back in 2015, Mancunian DJ and Producer Hidden Spheres aka Tom Harris joined the Rhythm Section family for our twelfth release. Storming into 2022 and approaching 50 releases Tom has a long overdue return to the label with a synthesis of electronic house vibrations.

‘You Are Not Your Body’ is a stellar collection of five tracks, which touch on the sensations of euphoria and the blissed-out intersection between early prog and Detroit House. Channeling energies for meditation and self love, things kick off with ‘Improvisation’ an electro infused eight minute workout, whilst ‘Euan 92’ is a festival-defining ‘hands-in-the-air’ anthem tried and tested by Bradley Zero on the road throughout 2021.

Love Your Body is a delightful disco-esque chugger reinforcing joyful energies and an infectious bass line to keep you wiggling on the dance floor. Things come to a close with a spaced out balearic house

Bitterfeld Musik returns with their second sampler, FOR A BITTER TOMORROW: Band 2. With this we welcome back label mainstay, Interviews along with additions to the label, Salomo, Qwerty and Jónbjörn for a collection of detriot electro, techno and braindance.

Anthony’s discovery of this ingenue remixing her on a project has grown to Lailah being one of his favorite vocalist to record. We Are One is an unconventional and minimalistic approach with haunting chords layered over pocket synth bass creating an abstract and artsy yet groove driven undertone. Ardalan’s debut album, “Mr. Good” was a perfect launching off point for the bright, young artist. A genuine reflection of the producer he has become with a considerable nod to the future. The album was widely admired by critics, DJs, fans and industry alike, and we’re super proud of what Ardalan continues to accomplish.

For the remixes of the album, Ardalan’s music receives re-interpretations from DJ Deron, Delano Smith, The Martin Brothers and Ardalan himself.

Cosmo Vitelli, I'm a Cliché's founder and head, heard the voice of our unruly feet after taking us on a long car journey with Bot'Ox. Night Dogs is his first solo EP in a long time. And he's back to the dancefloor with an unexpectedly nervous pace.

M.E.R - Montevideo Electric Recordings is an Uruguayan record label named after its capital city, Montevideo. Supporting vinyl's cultural heritage, this was the chosen format for releasing their work. For its third release they present the debut for the label of two local artists. One track from one of the minds behind the project : Cabanelas, with a hypnotic techno track for the dancefloor. Also debuting, M.E.R proudly introduces a great Uruguayan artist, Hernán González as Two Phase U.

The third instalment of the Best OF Various series sees Malta's Melchior Sultana return to Ten Lovers Music with an amazing new track called Spectres. Following that we have a special reprise of Secret Garden by Paul David Gillman Presents Red Earth Design, from England. The main mix of Secret Garden features on Paul's debut album (TLP004) of the same name, we thought this reprise was too good to remain unreleased. On to the AA side and we have two tracks back to back from Italy's ReeKee with his debut release on TLM, Here We Stay and Next To Me showcase his unique sound. We have been a fan for a while so great to have him on board. Finally someone who needs no introduction, from the USA, Detroit's very own Javonntte following up his TLM 7' release last month with this superb track called Satellites and Dreamers.

Eddie C descends out of the clouds with a real fun EP to mark the 16th release from Lips & Rhythm Records.

The Canadian producer and edit wizard was last seen at the helm of his seaplane en route to the island of Madeira for surfing and sunshine.
Before he took off he left us some heat we are ready to share with you all.

The title track 'Infinite Wait' is a smooth & rolling mid-tempo flute-laced groove, while EverybodyEverybodyEverybody is a thick and chugging "acid-lite" cut that's going to thump across dance floors.

In a true celebration of Italian electronic music from across the generations, Bosconi is honoured to present unreleased works from the legendary Alexander Robotnick. A true titan of Florentine music who helped define the Italo disco scene with a glittering run of evergreen club classics, Robotnick is still as creative now in his 70s as he was when first firing off his trademark arpeggios in the early 1980s.
For a few years now Robotnick, real name Maurizio Dami, has mainly released new or previously unreleased music via his own Hot Elephant Music. As such, we're thrilled to present three original tracks on vinyl, cut hot and ready to set a disco alight. Transcending the trappings of retro-fetishism, vintage this or old-skool that, the tracks on this 12" could be called techno or electro as easily as Italo - it's quite simply impeccable dance music as delivered by a master craftsman.
Adding to the sense of occasion celebrating the foundations of the Italian scene, we're equally thrilled to welcome Marco Passarani to remix Robotnick's 'The Hidden Game'. His appropriately titled 'Legacy' mix operates as an alternate version in the traditional style, holding true to the essence of the original while offering a slightly altered perspective. It's a distinct mix with Passarani's own distinctive Italo flair plain to hear - if anything his version sounds more retro than the original - but it's still very much invested in what Robotnick created to begin with.
Given the influence both these artists have had on the musical culture our own label is built on, this release holds a special place in our hearts, and we're excited to be sharing it with the world, where the throbbing basslines and sparkling pads can work their magic under the disco ball in a thousand dimly lit dance spots.

Having been lost in the Discogs realms for many years, without many sound clips online, each of The Piroman’s EPs began to gain a lot of traction online.

The Piroman EP, the first of 2 projects released back in the 90s, features three tracks with rolling electro/ breaks elements throughout, inspired from the West Coast. All 3 tracks were given a European twist and will fit onto modern day dance floors comfortably.

For the first release of the label we would like to welcome MASI. Two brothers from Amsterdam who’s sound could be described as old meets new school electro and minimal.

The A1 of the EP represents that old meets new school electro club focused track while B1 is an atmospheric cosmic inspired minimal track.

B2 is a smart club driver track that gradually adds deep low end bass throughout the track for a unique build up that will be noticed best on a proper soundsystem.

The Abstract Eye is back once again with his first offering on the Technoindigenous Studies label, and it’s a heavy one! Here he gives us another mega banger with his Nine Oh Nine EP. This record uses one of the most historically important drum machines throughout its entirety: the Roland TR-909. The classic drum machine used by his predecessors in electronic dance music also happens to have been released during the year of his birth. You almost surely know the sound of the TR-909 in other contexts, but, as he always does, he adds his atypical twist to it and uses it in a timeless context. Each of the record’s four pieces could have been released decades ago or far into the future. Another Gifted & Blessed production sure to please and set the dancefloor ablaze!

DJ Haus Enters The Unknown is a yearly compilation looking back at the last 12 months of UTTU releases - some obvious highlights but emphasis on overlooked b sides too. It's also an opportunity to work with friends outside of the UTTU label by including exclusive collaborations and tracks from the UTTU extended family. Ahead of the full compilation release UTTU present a triple vinyl edition of the exclusive tracks and collaborations featuring: Legowelt, DJ Deeon, DJ Seinfeld, DJ Normal 4, Marquis Hawkes, DJ Boring & many more.

ES-Q Brings us another 4 tracks of other worldly, synthed out, drum machine club cuts with his latest outing on his own label PARALLAX UNKNOWN. Giving us all the bleeps and weighty basslines we come to expect from the label, direct from its Sheffield roots. Fellow sheffield-er and Klasse records regular DJ STEVE is part of the crew with a stomping acid remix!

“… an album which shows that Carter Tutti are in a state of continuing evolution” – The Wire. 2007’s Feral Vapours of the Silver Ether will be available here for the first time on vinyl, and was the second release under the Carter Tutti name. On it, the electronic and the acoustic are merged in a seamless, crafted album that is awash with echoes of the sea, the moon, the open road, and flatlands.

Syrup House is the follow up to Jilk’s 2022 Castles In Space album, “Haunted Bedrooms”.

Haunted Bedrooms established the Jilk sound with a clash of cascading chamber instruments meeting brittle electronics and experimental noise. Frequently quiet and emotional but also edged with spikes and sharp teeth. On Syrup House, however, the collective dig out a much smoother and sweeter sound. And while ‘expect the unexpected’ should still be your guiding principle, here you can dive deep into luscious droning textures and swelling orchestration which sits alongside the warmth of analogue house and techno.

A series of church based improvisations are reworked into clockwork symphonies of clattering percussion and driving, joyous synth workouts. Vocals are much more present in the Syrup House, as Jilk draws from ethereal dream pop motifs while deconstructing traditional song structures into warm blankets of cloudy dynamics.

Syrup House follows a loose narrative about a magic-realist night club that appears and disappears at will. Inside, a labyrinthine interior contains corridors of ecstatic love and self realisation. Ultimately, during testing times, it is compassion that will prevail and Syrup House is where that compassion goes to dance away the blues.

Jilk are a UK based collective of musicians, fusing a bewildering collage of home-found sounds with the ambient soundscapes of washy synths, exquisite strings, insect-like clicks and cuts, and huge gorgeous waves of all encompassing experimental noise. Collaboration and open minded exploration are at the centre of all that they do.

On this album Jilk were: Cags Diep, Paul Eadie, Neil Gay, Jon Gibson, Nuala Honan, Emma Hooper, Andreas Laudwein, Kayla Painter, Beth Porter and Jon Worsley.

Pals FM: Floor Materials Vol.2 is the second dance music compilation from WALLS AND PALS. The aim is to share various ideas of dance floors instead of lingering on a certain genre or style, and while being DJ Friendly, it also serves as an exchange ground where production techniques of artists co-exist. All four tracks in Vol.2 correspond with the common purpose of bringing out ‘Floor Materials’, keeping distinct identity from each musician. In ‘Cofrica’, rapper and producer Simo of Y2K92 injects his long-time affection of Detroit flavor into a minimalistic form. Conversely, DOTT from the Thai label More Rice brings intricate and complex rhythms centered around the step sequencer in ‘Antibody Movement’, walking a fine line between House and Techno while the essence of Tech House is preserved . And in ‘Pump It Up’, ACIDWORK demonstrates what the outcome would be when Electro runs through digital instruments and samplers. Last but not least, Seo John, who put out his first EP DIVE last year from the label GODDEZZ, follows up with ‘miQro’, creating a different side of Trance that is more adequate for clubs or concrete spaces rather than outdoor raves or festivals. In the same manner with the preceding release Pals FM: Floor Materials Vol.1, Vol.2 is a compilation executed by fellow Asian musicians across the region. Beyond the reopened borders, and just like the excitement and stimulus at unusual events, this compilation serves to contribute to the dancefloor as an interesting ‘Material’ than simply as a ‘Tool’.

Ukrainian folk instruments dissolve into abstract psychoactive sounds from the improvisational universe. The meditative engine of multi-instrumental music drives the magical means of influencing perception. This is the sonic amulet, which is decorated with radiant tones and the colorful ceremonial musical outline. Mythological music is spirited by epic historical times and ideas of freedom, dignity, and bravery. The acquired knowledge of ancient generations is infused into the present tense and crystallized into the art of liberation.

Transform pain into gratitude, fear into love, rage into action, self-importance into empathy, fatigue into inner peace, anxiety into courage, and hatred into strength. Say "no" to darkness and direct the light on it, disagree to compromise with yourself, create on the destroyed, free yourself from stipulations, believe in wonders, burn and resurrect free. Always remember your own path to walk. And plant the blossoming cherry tree in the funnel from the bomb on the heart.

After a break of some 10 years producer and DJ Mat Carter felt the time was right to wake his imprint from hyper sleep.

It was started as and will continue to be an outlet for both Mat’s own material and that of other like-minded beings and as the name Varial suggests the label is not limited, instead it reflects Mat’s tastes and touches on many styles.

Varial launches with the remaster and re-release of the much sought after cult classic, Zark Time E.P. Written and produced by Mat himself, this E.P. pulls on influences of fractured imagery, fuzzyelectronics and dense soundscapes to form five tracks of warm, funk-fuelled jams that 17 years on still refuses to neatly conform with any one genre. As Mat himself says, “I can’t help my influences.”

During his time away from the music scene Mat’s focus was on raising a family and honing a physical craft but the pull of music never went away.

NYC's Disco powerhouse West End Records should need no intro. The home of too-numerous-to-list club classics for over 30+ years is still impacting today on what we know to be club culture. The label started by one Mel Cheren (RIP) with assistance from Larry Levan and more way back in 1976 is still held in such high regard today with it's catalogue constantly being played, rediscovered, reinterpreted and loved by waves and waves of new fans and admirers. One such admirer is one of the UK's longest serving DJ's and editors, a truly legendary Northern selector who's unique reel to reel DJ sets and reworks has gained him fans worldwide and continues to do so. Ladies and gentlemen, we give you Greg Wilson's West End versions, 4 tracks of unparalleled funk touched by the man himself who has also kindly supplied some choice words about this special release:

"West End has a particular place in my heart. Along with Prelude, it was my main go-to label during the early '80s, an underground New York powerhouse issuing a relentless run of now classic and cult-classic club cuts during the time I was DJing at Legend in Manchester. For me personally, the label is forever connected with this then futuristic venue, West End's progressive approach to dance music, incorporating electronic elements to play a key role in ushering in the Electro-Funk era, finding its perfect environment at Legend, with tracks by Stone, and especially the Peech Boys' hugely influential 'Don't Make Me Wait', providing major stepping stones. This is a project that holds a deeper resonance for me, given my personal relationship with the label, and I'm so happy to contribute the series; the 4 favourites tracks I selected for this release illustrating West End's best qualities - serious grooves and soulful vocals.

The edit of 'You Can't Take Your Cake And Eat It Too' by B.T. (Brenda Taylor) was originally featured on my first Credit To The Edit compilation, back in 2005, whilst Raw Silk's 'Do It To The Music' was also edited around the same period, but has never been made available until now. 'Keep On Dubbin'' by Forrrce, although not as big as the other inclusions at the time, was an ahead of its time hybrid, mixed by Francois Kevorkian, whose dub awakening had taken place the previous year, and Shirley Lites 'Heat You Up (Melt You Down)', which draws from the instrumental 'Melt Down Mix', the version of choice at Legend, where dub and instrumental mixes often trumped the main vocal versions"

Comprising of Chicken Lips’ own Dean Meredith and crate-digging DJ extraordinaire, Eric Duncan, both tracks come complete with additional playing from

Andy Meecham, AKA, The Emperor Machine. Initially rolling like an eighties-era cop show theme, ‘El Cid’ gradually prises open a wormhole of rubbery machine funk, unleashing an electromagnetic weapon that seemingly triggers each and every drum machine and synth in the duo's respective studios. The resulting jam, comprising patches of wonky key work, frenetic
percussion and an anything-goes approach to FX, is a nail-biting, hip-shaking showdown between collaborative chaos and dancefloor (dis)order.

In response, the hide of ‘Fast Leather Jacket’ arrives stitched with a parallel patchwork of sonic pleasures. Cosmic and tropical in even measure, this is hard-wearing club apparel tailored with a deliciously catchy melody and guaranteed protection from musical tedium, subtly shapeshifting from is-it-balearic charms to a delightfully mixable freestyle conclusion.
