Despite the post-industrial label often affixed to Factory Floor, there's a greater complexity of sound within the band's music that defies such facile descriptions. Yes, there are rigid, fixed beats, and other sounds from the manufacturing plant, as suggested by the trio's moniker. But there is also an underlying danceability that belies the seeming austerity of the sound; a hint at warmth that cuts through the permafrozen exterior. That curious balance has paid endless dividends thus far: they've been remixed by producer Gavin Russom, Liars' Angus Andrew and No Age's Dean Allen; remixed and released by Optimo; remixed and collaborated live with Throbbing Gristle legend Chris Carter; and remixed and produced (!) by Joy Division and New Order's Stephen Morris. It's been a whirlwind few years in terms of musical accolades, and Factory Floor's DFA debut is a glimpse into why.

Oliver Koletzki's highly anticipated second album is an electronic album of the finest proportions. The Berlin-based techno and house producer and DJ Oliver Koletzki has fully committed himself to his roots for this album. They can be traced back to pop music of the 80ies and 90ies, while his productions still manage to transport the fresh energy of today's electronic music productions.

Calvin Harris' welcomes Burns and his first release on Fly Eye, 'Iced Out'.

Burns has been tipped by the likes of the NME, The Guardian, The Times, Mixmag, DJ mag, and many more. Recently signed to Deconstruction by Calvin (who's joined the Sony imprint as A&R), Burns quickly acquired notoriety via several releases on 2112, a collaboration with Fred Falke ('You Stopped Loving Me'), the compilation 'European Sex Music', and remixes for Kasabian, Dizzee Rascal, Gossip, Missy Elliot, Hurts, White Lies and many more. He's also just finished adding his touches to Tinchy Stryder's new single.

CITIZENS! met, tragically, at a house party. Lawrence was trying to chat up the host, Tom was there trying to impress a date. They both failed miserably. But Tom did walk in on Lawrence and Mike sitting, drunk, and, alone, listening to music. They foolishly decided to form a band. So, thanks to a couple of providential female rejections CITIZENS! came into existence.
