Feadz and Kito met in 2008 at a music festival in Australia and bonded instantly over their passion for
music and music production. The pair kept in contact over the years and met up a number of times when
hey found themselves in the same city. In 2011 Feadz invited Kito to visit him in Paris to work on some
music. After a week in the studio an exciting new project was born; a project that celebrates their mutual
ove for techno music.

Last year's 'The Age Of Compassion' by Chicago underground house don Tevo Howard was one of the standout tracks for Buzzin' Fly in 2011with widespread DJ and media support. It joined his burgeoning body of work on other acclaimed labels such as Rush Hour and his own Beautiful Granville. Now Tevo returns with his follow-up for Buzzin' Fly.
If 'The Age Of Compassion' was a simple and elegant dancefloor bump wrapped in warm analogue melancholia, then the 'Monument EP' is its nemesis - a stark future-retro reinterpretation of the origins of house music build from the bare components of machines: raw drums, sub bass, sine waves, square waves and oscillators.
And yet there is still a burnished beauty to this EP. All three tracks seems to find echoes of each other in their arrangements and brittle harmony. Machine music for the modern age edged with passion and feeling, and another fresh step for its producer.

"In music, phrygian mode is dissonant, dark, depressive and gloomy. Its use was even forbidden in classical Greece for centuries because it was considered pagan.

The debut Debukas EP firmly planted him as one to watch, with four tracks that explored underground electronics with a pop sensibility and a grounding in classic house and techno. This new seven track EP continues down this route with his rich analogue sound and soulful vocals again taking centre stage.

The originality of his music stands out with the use of his voice combining as riffs, fx and melodies alongside the more traditional lyrics, and from his well stocked studio of vintage synths and drum machines where he has been honing his craft and developing a sound which is as much indebted to Arthur Russell and Gino Soccio as it is Underground Resistance and Model 500.

The Pleasure Patterns EP explores the outer edges of 4/4 club transmissions with the locked in groove of 'Loads Of Time' and the muscular synths of 'Rings'. Hits an almost disco feel with 'Golden Mind'. Drops the tempo for the loose and percussive 'Titanic' and trippy, hypnotic vibes of Send Me Out' and 'Knowledge' showcases some deft drum programming and vocal editing for futuristic disco dancefloors. It's left to Pional to round the EP off with his remix of 'Golden Mind'. He spots the disco feel of the original and filters it through some Madrid sunshine into a dreamy house epic. We've been fans of Pional for some time, and he's currently riding high after his two collaborations on the John Talabot album which are arguably the finest tracks on the album.

Debukas has recently featured on Mary Anne Hobbs XFM show with a DJ mix and she has played three tracks from the EP on her show. He's also remixed indie darlings Spector, label mates Crazy P and the new single by Drums Of Death. His live show which features a trimmed down version of his studio and live vocals is now hitting the road including a Crazy P support slot at Koko on Saturday 17th March. Already working hard on his debut album, this EP gives you an indication of what to expect from the all singing, all producing Debukas.

Five lines lay the foundation for a new sound community: KOMATON. Tomá Ivanov and Sebastian Lehner are two young Austrian sound artists living in Vienna and Linz. Always focusing on their passion to touch and move the body and soul of their audience, they express their musical sentiments through the utter infinities of electronic sounds without compromise.

But the dynamic duo didn't just pop out of nowhere. Their joint musical history already began in their early youth. Initially connected by their fascination, the freedom and emotionality of rich electronic sounds, the two freethinkers in their mid-twenties never cared about genre borders; the main point has always been that the beat kicks and the message is credible.

Since 2009, Sebastian Lehner alias Beppo Ton and Tomá Ivanov aka Garnet Ivanov go a part of their journey into the electronic realms as KOMATON. What the producer duo is about in their releases, live or on tape Short and sweet, compact but beautiful: Getting those big human emotions and desires on a record and making them perceptible as electronic music - using all it takes: polished songwriting and delicate arrangements, at all times steadily supported by driving beat constructions. Inspired by contemporary colleagues like Clark, Matthew Dear, Modeselektor or the dreaded Wighnomy Brothers, their authentic way to sing makes them stand out from the masses.

The youngsters present themselves via Myspace and Facebook. Basically, that's modern and absolutely right - but KOMATON's real show happens on stage. Their live act is electronic sound entertainment combined with comatose surprise effects for all free listeners and dancers of the world - always in touch and on a level playing field with the audience. The two musicians' artistic ideology is in their continuous exchange with the like-minded and the processing or scoring that is fueled by their thereby newly found inspiration. KOMATON is a passionate musical profession, pooled in a sound community for body, spirit and soul.
