Re-igniting the danceoors twenty years after its original release, Steve Bug refreshes this classic Chez Damier production, origi-nally from 1992. "Can You Feel It" is one of those classic New York / Chicago House jams that just defines a moment in dance music history. Dessous label boss Steve Bug arranges two special mixes that celebrate and rejuvinate this very special record.

Matthew Puffett, the artist most commonly known as Future Beat Alliance, presents a retrospective of selected works under his most lauded moniker. The name - taken from an Afrika Bambaataa sleeve - may have been a nod to the early-80s hip hop that was his first musical love while growing up in Oxford, but the music bore the unmistakable influence of the Detroit techno that had become his obsession. 'Collected Works 1996-2017' maps an illustrious discography over two decades and will be released on the artist's own imprint - FBA Recordings. Preceding the compilation, a brand new track entitled 'Chemical Cloud' will also be released. The realisation of this project follows a 3 year period of co-writing, programming and engineering on the new UNKLE album -The Road' part 1, which is now released.

The Activ-Analog collective return under this name for the first time in 10 years with a blistering new EP on Lisbon's Assemble Music. Taken from group live jams which are mixed down and tweaked on the fly, these four tracks recall the explosive simplicity of Daniel Bell's output on Accelerate, both A-side tracks all whacked-out acid and basslines cut through by razor sharp hats and claps. The B-side sees the addition of the same woozy pads that defined their venerated Night Shift EPs from the late 90s, taking the mood far into the afterhours. Hard but with a light touch, funky and clean - in one word, irresistible.

No need to check Discogs for WPH 020, it's just not there... But we digress! WPH 021 hails the return of Spain's Nacho Marco, who was responsible for WPH 010 together with Raoul Lambert. For his WPH comeback our Valencia kid has teamed up with the vocal talents of Aqeel, bringing you the acidic soul masterpiece 'Open'. Think Deetron on a dark day!

On remix duty we find young WPH buck Kiani & His Legion who came up with two remix versions. His 'Basement Remix' will go well info any Levon Vincent set and his 'normal' version is vintage Kiani. That says it all really, vintage Kiani, after just 6 tracks officially released. Raw Belgian talent at its very best!

During the mid-80s and early 90s Movin' Records defined the New Jersey sound. A skate-shop-turned-record-store run by the so-called fairy godmother of house' Abigail Adams, Movin's first output was 'I've Got The Music' by Boyd Jarvis in 1987, followed by music from game changers Blaze, Kerri Chandler, Tony Humphries and Smack, straight up Jersey jams' that producers are still attempting to replicate to this day. Still the Movin' Records catalogue throws up gems that sound super fresh along with plenty of lightbulb moments of musical discovery.

After becoming a surprise hit from the B-side of Kamar's 'In Every Way', Movin' Records presents this remix single to give dancefloors a serious shake-up. Kerri produces some heavyweight remixes of this single, along with regular collaborator Yahya McDougald. As with all of Kerri's early productions, this sits proud alongside his latest, more mature output thanks to his naturally instinctive style. The single features vocals from Calvin Reed Sr., Kerri Chandlers actual Grampa!

The next reissue classic on Henry Street Music comes from Scott Kinchen AKA Scotti Deep. Originally released in 1997.

Nach der Fertigstellung von "Computer Disco" (1982) machte sich Marcello Giombini daran, das Album "I Adore Commodore" zu komponieren, welches zum größten Teil nur mit einem Commodore 64 eingespielt wurde. Giombini war ein Veteran der Musikanwendungen auf Personal Computern - angefangen mit einem Apple II Europlus, wandte er sich kurz darauf dem C64 zu. "I Adore Commodore" wurde von den damaligen Videospielen inspiriert, was sich auch in den Tracktiteln widerspiegelt.

An amazing, rare beauty of a track from deep within the Trax vaults, Eric Bell's "Your Love" originally came out in 1987 and features a stellar instrumental version courtesy of the legendary Frankie Knuckles.

Since it's original release it has been a heavily sought after piece of wax often changing hands on-line for hundreds of pounds and it remains one of the most cult Chicago House records and rightfully so!

Re-mastered and re-pressed here for the first time, "Your Love" is an unmissable re-issue complete with original Trax label artwork, utterly essential.

There was a time in the mid 90s when the next Barbera Tucker / Masters At Work collaboration was the most eagerly awaited single of all - the follow-up to "Beautiful People" was another strong New york soulful houser - but its all about the Duck dub and the very useful Duck beats!

There's not much to say about such a groundbreaking record such as this - the 1991 Dj Pierre-produced classic is a fine song in its own right featuring the vocals of Paula Brion but it was the Wild Pitch mix (Pierre's first) which laid the blueprint for a particular sound / mix / track development which was much copied.....the instrumental is a great mix too.....still sampling "The Power" from Snap (well, it is Jocelyn Brown originally)! Accapella too.

Another of Louie Vega's pseudonyms, Sole Fusion's first release 'We Can Make It' was a straight disco cut-up with new vocals from Pierre Salandy. But with 'Bass Tone' the MAW man showed his versatility by branching out in a different direction. Its percussive minimalism and melancholic keyboards sound like a blueprint for Derrick Carter and Classic Records' (which started the year after this came out) style of deep house. An undiscovered classic.

Part Two, featuring Logic, Erick Morillo, Barbara Tucker, Logic and Black Magic. Heavy hitters!

Ocean Parkway, the new sublabel from Brooklyn's Names You Can Trust, continues into the deep with a future dance sureshot! Prince of Queens aka Felipe Quiroz normally lends his talented musicianship on keys and bass to the live ensembles of Combo Chimbita and MAKU Soundsystem, but behind the closed doors of his Bunker Studio a new sector of blissfully solo, machine-made electronic rhythms are steadily bubbling to the surface. Call it techno as imagined by a tropicalista, as the vintage analog tones of classic house are twisted by a kaleidoscope of influences both Caribbean and Chicagoan. From the wavy beachside vibes of the EP's opening number, to the deep, evolving arrangements of The Scene Over and The End Scene, on to the jazz-chord-fueled robotic timbale rhythms of Thank You Friends, and finally forward to the future-tropical polyrhythmic sequencing of Winter Islander, it's an impressive range of style and skills on display from this talented and up and coming producer.
