Parisian veteran Dj Deep and Romain Poncet (well known for his Traumer allias) released their first Sergie Rezza album on Desire records in 2015, the album received heavy support from Dixon, Laurent Garnier, Hunee, Antal to name a few. They now decided to start Sergie Rezza's own imprint. Sergie Rezza's sound is heavilly influenced by Ambient, Electronica, Dub, Jazz, Industrial, Funk, and also Techno and House roots. This is the second release on their newly created imprint.

Following the success of last year's Kunta Kinte 2017 riddim, Brooklyn-based label and collective Dub-Stuy add a new instalment to their popular dancehall inspired series with a fresh riddim from in-house producer DJ Madd, featuring international vocalists from Jamaica, Spain and Bermuda. Jitta Riddim is a brand new production from DJ Madd; a sturdy yet spacious riddim carried forward by a lilting melody and guitar stabs that are anchored by slapping snares, dub flourishes and a rolling bassline. This is a weighty but energetic riddim with the dancefloor in mind. Bringing the riddim to life are a trio of vocalists representing the roots and global expansion of dancehall and sound system music. Spain's Sr. Wilson delivers an anthem in the making with 'Zapatillas', a song dedicated to all the sneaker heads worldwide who like to sport fresh kicks when they hit the dancefloor. Singing in his native Spanish and English, Sr. Wilson shares tales of daily shoe addiction around a catchy refrain that name checks the best known brands. His blend of reggaeton-flavoured autotune and kicks geek outs is sure to resound loudly around clubs worldwide. Backing him is Jamaican veteran deejay Cutty Ranks , a man who's been lending his distinct flow to productions for over 30 years. On 'Double Trouble' Cutty speaks to the daily realities of life on the streets and the ills keeping people down, warning of the trouble that awaits those in charge. Wrapping up the release is Bermuda's Troy Berkley who aims his vocal rifle straight to the orange-skinned resident of the White House, spitting rapid fire lyrics about the deteriorating state of things in 2018 America. The latest release on First Cut, comes from a new act, TapesJamaican. Based in Dublin, they deliver three beautiful techno soul tracks, underpinned by rickety drums and dusty break beats. From their minds to ours.

Bristol based rising talent Sam Binary enters the junglist fray with his rendition of Dead Man's Chest's Westworld, twisting the breezy atmospherics inside out with discordant hardcore stabs and thunderous break edits.On the flip, Sam drifts into deeper territories with hints of Photek shimmering amongst the film noir haze of Sentinal Era.

Subtle Audio unveil their latest sub-division with the launch of 'Treaty Treats' - an imprint dedicated to beats originating in Limerick (aka the Treaty City) - the home of Subtle Audio. The first release features Subtle Audio head honcho Code and long time associate K3Bee with a track each. The label output will be mostly developed in their studio's but they'll be broadening the scope by collaborating with other artists / collectives based in Limerick as well as remixing other Irish acts across different genres.

London based Grime MC and Producer Jammz continues to build upon his I Am Grime Imprint, and once again caters to his instrumental fan base, with the instrumental release of Warrior 2 (on Vinyl only). Written and produced in 2017, this release stands to be the most well rounded body of work Jammz has released yet, and shows Jammz's growth and development as one of Grime's most promising mainstay producers. In recent years Jammz has managed established himself as a very sought after producer, with previous releases such as Keep it Simple & the world being underground favourites (of both fans and DJ's) which have managed to remain in rotation even today. Once a part of 2014's 'pirate radio renaissance', Jammz has also managed to infiltrate his way into the playlists of DJ's such as Sir Spyro & Logan Sama (amongst others) who always have a Jammz instrumental to hand. Yes - I Am Grime is the label, however Jammz takes this opportunity to explore the boundaries of Grime, playing with a range tempos and influences on this EP, with music ranging from 130BPM to 150BPM. Songs like 'Everything Dead' nod to Jammz's Jamaican and British influences, with minimal weighty baselines and vocal stabs, whilst songs like the 'Intro' and 'Interlude' see Jammz experiment with the idea of Grime without drums or percussion. B side tracks like "Set You Free' and 'Play That' nod back to an earlier era of Grime and Garage; with simplistic brass-backed riffs and vocal chops. Additional production credits come from the likes of Sebastian Sartor, Bristol favourites Joker and New York Transit Authority, USA's Collapsing Scenery and Jack Dat who also has his production hat on for the occasion. Over the last 3 Years Jammz has spent his time building his I Am Grime Imprint, which is fast building a reputation for releasing sought after releases. With a newly announced Rinse FM residency and a brand new line of merchandise - it's safe to say Jammz isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

* Pev re-masters and re-issues a lead track from his debut LP 'Jarvik Mindstate' on Punch Drunk alongside a newly unearthed and previously unreleased track from 2008.

* A leading protagonist of a nascent, more techno indebted sound in the 07/08 dubstep era, alongside peers such as Martyn, 2562 & Appleblim, Peverelist released a series of tracks that helped shape and define that scene. Alongside 'Infinity is Now' (Tectonic), Circling (w/ Appleblim - Skull Disco) and 'The Grind on Punch Drunk to name a few, Bluez was a standout track fusing melancholic Detroit style synths with the dub-wise aesthetics of the UK underground. Peverelist has since explored these themes further with his pioneering Livity Sound label. This release revisits the roots of his sound a decade on.

The follow up to the Quest for Intelligence album. This collection is made up of the last remaining unreleased Fast Floor tracks salvaged from Ron Wells's DAT Tapes. Restored by the Music

Presenting the long sought after, groundbreaking and classic 1990 UK long-player finally remastered and reissued for 2018. London's Warriors Dance label was a unique operation and a pioneering London label during the late 80's acid house phenomena. Home to an assortment of DJs, MCs and soundmen, they went on to make their own original and indelible mark on the rave scene from the infamous 'Addis Ababa' studio on Harrow Road on the North-West side of the city.

A former reggae and soul studio that was instrumental to the output of influential artists like Soul II Soul and more, a steady diet of reggae, bass, hip-hop, house and techno kept their edgy, and die hard UK sound and style right at the cutting edge of the dance music underground across the globe with the top DJs and producers of the day celebrating the label.

The studio, helmed by label owner Tony 'Addis', acted as an incubator for artists whose names would go down in the history books - No Smoke, Bang The Party, The Addis Posse, Melancholy Man, Hollywood Beyond, The Housemaids and more all featured heavily on the label and contributed to its legendary output. The attitude and approach to the music was utterly and unapologetically a London thing, with heavy African and Caribbean influences also drawing on the sounds emanating from Chicago, Detroit and further afield.

Years later, and with the advent of the internet, Discogs, Youtube and any other digital platform you'd care to mention, Warriors Dance continues to be discovered and rediscovered again by curious diggers and music heads with a thirst for heavyweight tracks to play in their DJ sets. This saw the WD mythology rise again, making their records much sought after by fans from all over the world.

When 'International Smoke Signal' landed in 1990 there was nothing else quite like it in the musical landscape, the perfect sonic example of the Warriors Dance ethos and style incorporating all of the influences and grooves that made the label's output so unique, a sound heavily inspired by the preceding period in London and the UK where hip-hop, soul, reggae, rare groove and acid house were played side by side in the warehouses and empty spaces of former industrial areas. Throughout the late 1980's these often drab and dangerous places were transformed by local DJ crews like Soul II Soul and Shake 'N' Fingerpop with more to offer those looking for an open-minded party scene new places to explore, in turn switching people on to broader styles of music.

It's all in here, the heavy breakbeat driven B-boy house flavour of the album version of the classic 'Koro Koro', the Manu Dibango featuring tribal acid groove of 'International Smoke Signal' to the percussive and ultra-deep stylings of 'Oh Yes (Freedom)' the LP encapsulate a time and place yet continue to capture the imagination today.

Timeless music. There's no doubt the No Smoke project is a direct influence on the deeper, tribal house sounds around today and pioneered the afro house sound alongside 'Yeke Yeke', 'Motherland' etc as the acid house phenomenon swept the world. 'Koro Koro' is the omnipresent anthem which was broken at London clubs like Confusion by Bang The Party's Kid Batchelor and RIP which went on to blow up in New York, and was then signed by Profile Records. Hugely sampled and still played to this day.


'International Smoke Signal' fuses the otherworldly science of dub and reggae with Bronx breakbeats, synth laden ambient house excursions and the heartbeat of mother Africa with the technoid thrum of the motor city effortlessly, all while maintaining its London roots and swagger. A true dance music masterpiece. This is the first time the LP has been remastered and reissued, spread across 2 heavy slabs of high quality vinyl for maximum sonic impact. Made in conjunction with the Warriors Dance family and Tony Addis.

Yak presents his first solo EP on the 3024 imprint! Three intricate percussive excursions showcasing this man's amazing talent. Rhodes Island is a vibey drum 'n bass number with dazzling edits and beat trickery, reminding us of the legacies of Nucleus and Paradox while still sounding extremely 2018. Don Greno is a more garage influenced roller that has been doing the rounds as a dub on Rinse. Ocean Floor is a sluggish, dubbed out drum groove perfect for those late night early morning vibrations.

"Recorded in St. Petersburg over the course of 2015, this first release on Glasgow based imprint 12th Isle is a collaborative effort between Dices & - (aka Flaty/Dada Ques), affiliates of the Udacha and Gost Zvuk record labels. Titled '' (Thoughtstream), the LP eschews trend in favour of meaningful sonic discovery, and in doing so offers as much to the adventurous DJ as it does the attentive home listener.

Side A encompasses ambient synth textures reminiscent of '70s-era library music, established upon rhythms that evoke turn of the century Detroit house. At once melancholic and playfully optimistic, the six tracks range from rhythmic experiments to sketch-like beatless vignettes. The flip side sets off in a slightly darker tone that is succeeded with pace and persistence in the drum patterns and winding arpeggiated bassline of Caleidoscope'. Alongside the heavily swung Hologram', these tracks are very club considerate, a function that in no way offsets the records assured narrative purpose.

Across both A and B the music maintains this singular intent, channelling aspects of early sequence-based electronics and vintage space rock around a diverse and playful compendium of rhythms.

Finishing Up The B Side Is 'soft Touch' A Mellow Track For The 100bpm Crew, With A Hip Hop Feel

A collaboration of seismic proportions, we present 'The Last Renegade' from Safire, DLR & DRS, backed with two experimental DLR forays called 'Dreaming Of A Place'. Sinister, brooding and shaped with intent, 'The Last Renegade' sees Safire & DLR combining to create a half time beast, with the piercing vocals of DRS a perfect fit. Developing the 'Dreamland' themes from his last album, DLR explores dub and techno influences and more downtempo vibes on two mixes of 'Dreaming Of A Place'. Digressing from the more typical Dispatch format, DLR, along with Safire & DRS,
express their artistic freedom to display the depth in quality within the label today.

For the vinyl heads, there will be a limited run of heavyweight clear vinyl pressed, shrink-wrapped within a bespoke, full colour sleeve.

* With a number of high profile releases already behind him for labels including the legendary XL Recordings and Dusky's 17 Steps imprint, Hugo Massien has carved a sound for himself that sees him bring together elements from house, techno, dubstep and hardcore, all combining force to produce this killer 4-track EP, running at the techno-friendly tempos of around 128bpm.

* 'Advanced Aerial Threat' kicks things off with a fractured half-step rhythm that gives more than a nod to his formative years as a fan of the early UK dubstep movement. Stark, deadly and meticulously constructed, the rhythm taps a pace as wild bass stabs rip across a theatre of sound.

* Next up is the delightful melancholy of 'Ursa Minor' which takes a rolling breakbeat as its backbone before a Reese-like bassline emerges from beneath, rising and empowering. An intimate piano line comes in, providing an introspective element, balancing the otherwise rave-savvy ingredients in place.

* 'Candy Flip' takes things into a more electro direction, providing a reliable work out for the dance floor as the tightly tuned drums and bass hold down the spooky synth stabs.

* Last up, closing the EP is 'Divisions From The Start' where once again we see Hugo's intuitive sense of soundscape grandure, creating a kaleidoscope of moods all strung together with precision drum programming and heavyweight sub work.

A kind of intimate scrapbook of the startling collaboration between the techno maestro and this long-standing musical collective based in Bishkek, devoted to the roots music of Kyrgyzstan. Loose-leaved but balanced, lucid and intimate, it sets out from stunning a cappella and virtuosic komuz and kylak, mouth harp and traditional percussion: not field, but expert studio recordings, using marvellous vintage microphones, made over several days in Berlin. Further, a few of these are deftly treated by Moritz, using Reichian de-synced double-tracking, and discreet effects. Also two ten-minute dubs: a deadly, signature Berlin steppers, plus its version; and an echoing, mystical drum session, recorded live on stage in Bishkek. And a side-long, dream-like summation: the locomotive, oceanic, clangorous, dread Facets. Ravishing, rooted, searching music; beautifully presented.

London based hardware specialist no data available joins the null+void family with a four track EP of rugged, playful and effective electro driven tracks for the rave - ending in a blissful introspective 7am moment with title track the night.

Acid fans will have already heard nda's work alongside Matt Whitehead on Jerome Hill's much respected Super Rhythm Trax imprint under various pseudonyms. It's his live sets that have been winning on the dancefloor though, as much as his studio work - 100% improvised and raucously executed - this year they've brought the fire at Berlin's Greissmuehle and London's Corsica Studios.
