A truly bold sound explorer, Lucy has always added a skewed, angular version of modern techno. The outer edge of his experiments bare particular mind food, and his release for Horo adds a new slant to his sonic identity.

Those intrigued by Lucy's live performance at Mutek 2015 or his monthly sound bath meditation sessions in Berlin, will find 'Eat, Drink, Shop, Relax' represents a combination of both these events. Recorded live to tape in Lucy's Berlin studio, the 4 tracks work together in a perfect continuum. The mood achieved is a warm, comforting bubble of hypnosis that feels at times like the machines have developed their own language and Lucy is their chosen conductor.

The EP title finds its meaning in a critical perspective on consumerism, but while the world continues to move at a breakneck pace driven by people's acquisition of 'things',Lucy's experiments exude a notion of peace and contentment. Perhaps the underlying theme of 'Eat, Drink, Shop, Relax is a time and place where freedom from the clutches of consumerism can, and will be the norm. If this is the soundtrack to an idealistic future, it's an attractive place.

Mirrors is the second album by endlessly influential South London producer Mala. It follows his 2012 Brownswood release where Gilles Peterson invited the producer to soak up Cuba's music and culture to turn the results into Mala In Cuba. But Mirrors is less Mala In Cuba Mk II and more the realisation of a creative method that works for this most understated and intuitive producer: digging deep into the roots of a culture, recording local musicians and sounds, and using the recordings as source material and storyboard for a record.

The product of repeated visits to dive into Peru's music, it revolves around tempo and flow, working local Afro-Peruvian percussionists, grassroots tap dancers and an Andean soprano into its fourteen tracks. Mala went there for a month, visiting Lima along with Cusco and the Sacred Valley just outside of the capital. I was introduced to music from the jungle, music from the mountains, Andean sounds, native sounds, Afro-Peruvian music,' says Mala. It all goes back to the roots and the rhythms and I related instantly. That primal rhythm is in all of us.'

Dancers bring another sound to Mirrors' palette. Colectivo Palenke are masters of Peru's stomping battle-dance, zapateo, and their feet-first percussion graces the track titled 'Sabateo'. On 'Sound of the River', meanwhile, you can hear field recordings of a stream running through the Sacred Valley and soprano-anthropologist Sylvia Falcon. It's a fragile and human performance that soothes and uplifts in equal measure, and it's a most subtle production.

Mirrors is a bridge joining Croydon and Lima. It creates a link between traditional instruments made from donkey jawbone and dried-out pumpkins and the contemporary box of tricks inside Mala's laptop. Like all bridges it links the past to the present, giving a clear view of where Mala has been - and where he's going next.

This summer UK production talent EVM128 AKA Luke Meads returns with his new single "Strangers" and a new album titled "Nova."

His new material follows on from the lush neo-soul of "Beyond" featuring UK legend Omar. "Nova" sees EVM128's restless search for new directions create the freshest sounds on the dance floor, fusing broken beat, addictive central bassline hooks, uplifting funk, skittering garage beats and boogie rhythms.

Originally hailing from the trip-hop/drum & bass-innovating south-west city of Bristol, EVM128 later moved to London where his eclectic music taste started to expand even more as his journey into broken beat and nu-jazz began. There he soon became a regular at Plastic People's Co-Op club night and Cherry Jam.

For EVM128 sensual rhythm and a bassline that makes you shiver is key. Having grown up on a healthy diet of Blues and Soul, punk and the raw inner city vibe of trip hop; "Nova" is a collection of tunes that come from Mead's musical journey; taken inspiration from the places he's called home around the UK. The album is a snap shot of all his influences and see's Mead collaborate with vocalists that he's met along the way too, including Shyone and Omar.

EVM128 is an artist whose contribution to underground music is growing at a fast pace. Over the years he's continued to reveal the talents of his production chops. From his first "Groove Content" EP on Ross Allen's Meltdown Music Recordings to taking care of album production duties for Greg Wilson and Kermit (Black Grape)'s band Blind Arcade, whilst steadily gaining support from Giles Peterson, Radio1's Annie Mac and Rinse FM.

Lubomyr Melnyk returns with his new album 'Rivers and Streams', the embodiment of his signature style

Ukrainian pianist Lubomyr Melnyk has often felt that his unique Continuous Music playing is akin to water - flowing and ever connected. As he further developed his technique, and the more the notes flowed, the closer to water he felt. 'I found my hands and arms and everything inside them changing from normal muscle and flesh to well... water.'

With his latest album, 'Rivers and Streams', Lubomyr focuses deeply on this connection to water, to the point where the music itself begins to embody its liquid form. Produced by Robert Raths and Jamie Perera, the album flows seamlessly from the live recordings of 'The Pool of Memories', captured in a church, to pieces entirely born in the studio, such as 'Sunshimmers' and 'Ripples in a Water Scene', which feature Perera on acoustic and electric guitar.

Amorphous, ever-changing, Lubomyr as performer becomes subsumed into the natural ebb and flow of the keys as the album drifts between nascent upstream trickles and deeply reflective passages through winding river valleys. The album reaches its climax in 'The Amazon', a 20-minute piece dedicated to the world's largest river. Raths invited Korean flautist Hyelim Kim to guest on the first part, before Lubomyr closes the album with cascades of arpeggio figures, stretching across the breadth of the keyboard with rapid virtuosity.

Following on from 2013's 'Corollaries' album and last year's 'Evertina' EP, Lubomyr's latest offering compounds upon his existing fluid signature style, and breathes an organic vitality, both nuanced and thoughtful.

"In the body of the Continuous Piano Master, the fingers and the hands turn into Water, Air and Stone. These are the three manifestations of the Continuous Technique. And for the Continuous Pianist, the fingers physically transform the music into one of these three elements.

The cover artwork shows the surface of vines captured with macro photography by French artist Marion Benoit, which Lubomyr discovered in early 2015 as the perfect visual counterpart.

Arthur's epic minimalist orchestral composition, conducted by the late Julius Eastman, originally out on Chatham Square in 1983 in an edition of only 320 copies is available again on vinyl through Audika records with replicated artwork and remastered audio!

Beginning in 1974, based in New Zealand, the sound-performance group From Scratch used an evolving array of percussion instruments to create a distinctive rhythmic music, texturally rich and tonally sumptuous, making use of found and repurposed objects as well as custom-made percussion instruments.
And while the music has a sophisticated, fluid and intelligent polyrhythmic drive, pitched percussion features prominently, using microtunings and just intonation in tightly structured pieces which evolve and mutate, making use of intricate interlocking of melodic and rhythmic elements. Given their Pacific identity, one can find similarities with a number of Asian Pacific musics, their music will appeal to open-eared listeners interested in such musics, and it will also intrigue admirers of the early
work of Steve Reich and Terry Riley. Formed by Phil Dadson on his return to New Zealand following his late-60s involvement in the U.K.
with Cornelius Cardew's Scratch Orchestra, Auckland's From Scratch embraced an egalitarian ethic, focusing on co-operation, integration,
and the union of opposites. These principles are clearly heard in the music here, with all the players interlocking, with the music exploring and exploding the polarities of melody/rhythm, local/global, group/individual, minimal/maximal. These four tracks, ranging from 1974 to 1982 are propulsive and yet serene, percussive and yet
sweetly tonal, and toe-tappingly alert, an immersive and distinctive soundworld. All tracks here are newly remastered from the original
master tapes, "Passage" was their first recording and is previously unissued.

Felder is an infinite, boundless creation that unravels upon every listen. Werner has created sounds that are listenable and inviting, complex but approachable and, mostly, completely unidentifiable. 'Felder' means 'fields' in German, and here the word refers to conceptual frameworks and subjects, and sound fields. Werner is a cultivator — a farmer — of the various sounds, from metal scratched on a big glass window to piano phrases found on a private Popul Vuh compilation. He mixes organic sounds from French horns and cellos seamlessly with synthesized notes created with one-of-a-kind programs. Werner builds layers of sound with differing cadences upon one another, creating intricate patterns that connect with each other structurally, rhythmically, semantically, and historically. Suggestions of jazz, industrial music, drone and even folk float in and out of the electronic compositions in a seemingly effortless manner, paradoxically, Felder was meticulously constructed over the course of four years.
Werner's refinement process for the pieces on Felder was simultaneous with the lofty goal of challenging himself as a musician while still creating a record that is melodic and complex. Werner recorded the album in Marfa, Texas, Berlin, and around the world while touring with Mouse on Mars. Just as the album's creation and production cannot be tied to a specific setting or time, the sounds heard on the album have no clear boundaries. They are unexpectedly malleable and mutable. Context and perceptions play with sounds to yield a fresh new experience with each listen. Samples and instrumentals bounce off one another, starting from central points and radiating outwards. With so many new sounds to discover and new inspirations to be found, Felder is an entire new field of musical possibilities — a landscape that at first appears simple and beautiful that reveals its utter complexity upon closer inspection. The album is joyful experience for both the mind and the soul.

Now you notice there's 'something in their motion', they been looking for the 'dance floors of England' . The 'sons of the bass bin' try shouting, 'hey you lets dance', but that doesn't disturb them. Jaumet is back, but not alone: he asked 3 artists to revise music from his latest album La Visite. On the A-side, we have a brand new band from Düsseldorf, called Die Wilde Jagd. We know those boys from their previous band Der Räuber und der Prinz, released on Desolat, which is a favorite from everyone at Versatile. They deliver a surprising mix of La Visite, in pure Kraut fashion. Neu is not that far... On the flip-side, the Frenchman Low Jack turns La Visite into a dub marshland, multilayered as is typical for Low Jack's music. And finally, Gilb'R delivers his own ambient version of one of the highlights of Jaumet's album; Midnight Man, a tribute to I:Cube who used to come to the studio at night.

Chew From the Mind is a raw yet elegant synthesizer album that is surreal, beautiful and evocative of previous horror-score theme work, while expanding his sound toward more raw electronic influences. The album draws from a heady mixture of early new wave and synth-pop, '70s-era Miles Davis, science fiction literature and the past 15 years of the American underground. Within its thematic unity, Chew From the Mind paints a variety of scenarios, ranging from claustrophobic to vast, ethereal to rawly physical. The tracks were recorded and mixed in his home studio, employing a diverse set of drum machines and synthesizers in various states of functionality or development. Chew From the Mind is not only a defining statement for Alex Barnett, but for the Midwich and the midwestern electronic underground. It is an alluring and addictive listen.

Flesh For the Living is HIDE's vinyl debut. This 3-track EP contains 3 soon-to-be anthems. Showcasing top-notch production values, these tracks have a physicality that matches their live show. Bruce returns to Hessle Audio with a 3 track EP, following his debut on the label in 2014. The A side is given over to the shape-shifting dancefloor mechanics of 'Steals', with the eyes-down 'Relevant Again' and 'Petal Pluck' completing the release on the B side. Each tune demonstrates Bruce's unique approach to sound design, and confirms his status as one of the most versatile and exciting young producers in the UK.

Know V.A. - For the last years the two Amsterdam based producers have solidified their position in the Dutch scene. The two host a cutting edge experimental party in Amsterdam called HOAX. They've been invited to support the Warp & Lucky Meshowcases two years in a row during ADE as well as the R&S label nights. In their monthly radio show at Red Light Radio they showcase their latest discoveries. The name Know V.A. can be seen as a call for people to keep looking for new angles in music. Trying not to be confined and limited by genres. Something that is retraceable in the development of their productions.

Influenced by the Los Angeles beats scene as well as the ever changing UK sound.

Their own music can be described as spacious, with strong percussive details constantly contrasting the sluggish low-end

Clusters - Producer duo Know V.A. returns to Lowriders Recordings for their second release Clusters. Since their first EP O Horizon the guys have been growing in their production to a more mature and daring sound.

Kicking off the new Dazzle vinyl only series, the duo set out to create tracks that would fit the exclusivity of a limited printed vinyl.

After several studio sessions in November 2015 the producer duo presents Clusters.Determined to push their own boundaries musically, they used a different approach in comparison to their prior releases. The three tracks originated from a sample/synth pack, specially designed for this EP. The Clusters EP should be seen as one track, solely divided by the track names. The release implies a dark and gritty experience, but excluding any aggressiveness.

Clusters EP already got some early support from Mssngno, Ryan Hemsworth, Mumdance, Ivy Lab, DJ Shadow, Noisia, Om Unit, Desto and others.

This release contains dancefloor orientated bass music.

Following the recent release of So Low, a compilation of early '80s synth, industrial and cold wave classics and undiscovered gems curated by Optimo's JD Twitch aka Keith McIvor, The Vinyl Factory are set to release specially commissioned remixes of two tracks on the 16-track compilation by rising UK producer Powell and Hamburg's Helena Hauff.
Powell's pneumatic sound is perfectly suited to '49 Second Romance' by German minimalists P1/E, which he deftly deconstructs, while Hauff adds glistening synths to Belgian electro-industrial group The Klinik's 'Moving Hands' for a driving, nocturnal version.

This is the first album Oscar Mulero has released under his own name, after two acclaimed LPs under the moniker Trolley Route. Well known for his skills as a hard-edged, raw and floor-orientated techno dj, his productions go far beyond, digging deep into the intricate landscape of intelligent techno, floating moods, reminiscent atmospheres, harmony and detail.

Gidge announces new LP & 24 minute film in collaboration with Lampray "Lulin" is a joint creation of electronic duo Gidge and film production company Lampray - all friends from school in Umeå, Sweden. Usually, a film comes with a soundtrack and an album comes with music videos, but Gidge and Lampray wanted to make something different: a project where film and music are separated, yet strongly connected. This resulted in a 24-minute film & 42 minutes of audio. The film revolves around a man (Victor Lindgren) who sees something he can not explain at the edge of the woods surrounding his cabin. The audio are two 20+ minute tracks by Gidge with music derived from Lulin's lonely world and mind. Lulin is filmed close to Umeå where the Swedish friends grew up, and more specifically, right where Gidge recorded most of the sounds for their debut album Autumn Bells.The film is written, directed and edited by Ludvig Stolterman (Gidge), cinematography and production by Martin Gärdemalm (Lampray), lighting and further production by Linus Andersson (Lampray), sound recording by Jonatan Nilsson (Gidge), sound editing by Johannes Oscarsson. Everything else was done with and by their close friends.

House Number 44 is the first volume of The Composite Moods Collection, a new cycle of Dalhous recordings that examines the relationship between two individuals co-habiting in the same confined space - their interactions, their sense of self and of each other, and the pregnant space between. The title of The Composite Moods Collection nods to the world of film and library cues, riffing on the utilitarian idea of music 'to suit the mood' and the appealing if archaic notion that a 'mood' can be a discrete or fixed thing, a unit of feeling. Longtime followers of Dalhous will observe that House Number 44 contains some of their sparsest, most malevolent-sounding electronic music to date (see especially the brooding synthesizer throb of 'Response To Stimuli' and 'End Of Each Analysis') but some of their most disarmingly beautiful too, with indelible melodies and atmospheres as deep as thought: 'Methods of Élan', 'On A Level', the elegiac 'Lines To Border'. Marc Dall's enduring affection for neo-noir film scores of the '80s and early '90s, with their gleaming electronics and submerged existential torment, is more palpable here than ever, and you may hear echoes too of Klaus Schulze, Pete Namlook, or Eno's The Shutov Assembly - but Dalhous continue to plot their own course, obsessively and meticulously, oblivious to contemporary trends and unconstrained by historical influence; driven, indeed, by their own demons.

Cooked straight on the searing streets of Glasgow and served up for mind-bending, floor-filling pleasure - Golden Teacher are back with Sauchiehall Enthrall, an all-new four track EP released directly by the band. Following a slew of snapped-up releases on Optimo Music, Soul Jazz / SOTU, Huntleys & Palmers and Akashic Records - which saw the band meld the worlds of acid-house, leftfield disco, EBM, dub and afrobeat - Golden Teacher have redrawn the boundaries of their sound yet again, giddily embracing jacked-up UK funky, dancehall, musique concrète and further tripped-out stylings from the badlands of Escocia. Slithering, rattling and snapping like a snake with a toothache, this EP is further proof that Golden Teacher are one of the most infectious and unhinged dance acts around at the moment. The EP comes in screen-printed silver sleeves made by the band's own hands.

Stepping into a mighty fine tradition of the likes of UB40, Black Uhuru or Massive Attack, SINKANE are announcing today the release of the SINKANE x PEAKING LIGHTS EP entitled 'MEAN DUB', a bass rich enhancement in dub of four original Sinkane songs from last year's celebrated MEAN LOVE album that have been given the magical Peaking Lights dub overhaul by Aaron Peaking. The two bands had met while on tour with the Atomic Bomb/Onyeabor project and quickly developed a mutual admiration for each other's work.

In a similar fashion to previous Eps 'So So So' and 'Apache', 'Vood(oo)' acts as a medium between two albums, gathering a handful of exclusive and essential tracks. Initially entitled '(oo)', 'Vood(oo)' well and truly set itself free of its original studio carcass to become a brand new live monster; malignant and roaring, powerfully transported by a demonic loop. With a fine strings epilogue composed by Vacarme (a group that labelmate Gaspar Claus is a part of), your favourite shaman is summoning his creature for the last time in order to impose a silence that will leave us all dazed and confused. 'Pankot' initiates a strange symphonic ceremony animated by a ghostly organ and a belligerent orchestra of industrial sounds. On 'Dolls' the musician enthrals the listener with a nocturnal and contemplative nursery rhyme. 'ETC' is an orchestral introductory piece that releases vital energy as the producer's precise electronic interventions collide with Bachar Mar- Khalife's bow and piano.

June Records presents RR Hearse - Call of Oedipus. Completed between 1981 and 2013, Call of Oedipus is a collection of solo works and collaborations of RR Hearse with S/M, A.Rib and Mr. Cricket. The tracks were recorded live at concerts on Greek University campuses, squats, in studio as well as in RR Hearse's bedroom. This mini LP is a never released before document of the Greek underground music scene, transferred from cassettes and reel-to-reels's from RR Hearse's personal archive.

Philosophie zum Tanzen: Dubby Disco aus Österreich mit theoretischem Überbau.

Hinter dem österreichischen Elektronik-Duo Discozma verbergen sich keine Geringeren als Alois Huber (Elektronik, Klänge, sonische Ideen) und Didi Neidhart (Beats, Klänge, sonische Effekte). Sie verbindet eine tiefe Leidenschaft für Disco, House und Dub. Wenn's ans Musikmachen geht, dann drehen sie am liebsten so lange an den Reglern und Knöpfen, bis das Ausgangsmaterial eine stattliche Space-Komponente erhalten hat. Nur Disco und nur House allein kommt für die zwei Künstler nicht in Frage. So weit, so gut. Das wirklich Besondere an ihrem Tanzmusikkonzept ist jedoch, dass ihr Weltraum-Sound nicht nur in die Beine geht, sondern auch den Kopf beansprucht. Für die vier Tracks ihrer auf grünem Vinyl gepressten 12'' "Discozma" spielen der französische Star-Philosoph Michel Foucault, der französische Psychiater und Psychoanalytiker Jacques Lacan sowie die berühmte österreichische Malerin Elke Silvia Krystufek keine unerheblichen Rollen. Welche das sein könnten, darf jeder selbst aus der dubby Disco herausinterpretieren.
