Amidst the lush environs of his northwest roots, Manatee Commune has fermented an organically molded electronic sound that has been teasing the synapses of audiophiles over the last few years. While not a stranger in the Pacific Northwest, Grant Eadie's tracks have grown tentacles that stretch deep into the dance floor, fueled by natural overtones that he extracts from field recordings. Following the head-turning EP 'Thistle' on Brooklyn-based label Bastard Jazz Recordings (Illa J, Lord Echo, & others) from earlier this year, he comes to the label armed with violin arrangements, nuanced programming and pressure-sensitive LED drum breaks peppering the audio-visual experience of his participatory live performances. His debut album Manatee Commune is set for a September 16th release on Bastard Jazz, and displays the elevated confidence and deft touch of a producer truly finding his footing. Already opening for Bonobo, and recently touring with Chad Valley and Blackbird Blackbird, Manatee Commune has been featured on NPR, Stereogum, and Spin, amongst other outlets.

Eadie describes the inspiration behind his approach: "Learning how to share my creative process with my friends completely revolutionized the last of year of music for me. Inviting those I trusted and loved into my studio to spend even just an hour talking or jamming opened fountains of inventive energy for me, especially from the ones who lacked any musical knowledge. I soon found myself incredibly inspired by the originality of even the smallest interactions with people, and so I pointed my field mic at anyone who had a story, a melody, or a stumbling beat they had been absentmindedly drumming, all in the hopes of capturing their individuality and framing it with my ever expanding insight into audio production."

Reimagining his musical approach by opening his studio and microphone to friends, collaborators and loved ones, Eadie was able to release fountains of inventive energy from these deeply personal interactions, inspired by anybody who had a story, a melody or a stumbling beat to share. Key elements are amplified that get Manatee Commune audiences bouncing, while cultivating his warm and textured production aesthetic to further complexity, layer by shimmering layer.

The label's first reference, HOODED001, is a two tracks EP called "Los Dinosaurios" by Personal Mythologies. The two cuts have been recorded from live improvs by the artist. The A Side, homonym to the title of the EP is a slow, rugged and abrasive techno jam that passes the 11 minutes mark. The second extract, "Cuando Los Dinosaurios Dominan La Tierra" is an ambient odissey of fourteen minutes that features a static melody around which different melodic and rhythmic elements are developed.

Berlin based duo Africaine 808 will release their debut album 'Basar' via NY imprint Golf Channel (home to Mark E, Juju & Jordash and DJ Nature) in January next year.

'Basar' pushes their divine blend of West African bass and rhythms, disco, island-funk and house to newer heights. Their deep and timeless debut is about 'Freedom and Freedom only' and is an album that reaches for the party Arthur Russell was talking about when he said 'I wanna see all my friends at once.'

Africaine 808 are Dirk Leyers, formerly one half of Closer Musik, and Berlin DJ and established artist Nomad. The pair met in Berlin at the city's annual summer techno demonstration Fuckparade in 2000, where they caught the infamous 'Techno Viking' scene live as it unfolded. Nomad got his first drum aged 6 years old, from a church collective yard sale. Now an avid collector of African influenced musical styles, from South African Shangaan to Westafrican Funk, his rhythmic quest has lead him to study and explore African and world music for almost 3 decades. The Africaine 808 project grew out of Nomad's Vulkandance parties, a melting pot of African, Latin, and Caribbean club music.

The title 'Basar' comes from the ancient term for 'oriental marketplace", a place to experience a multitude of impressions with your senses. Like an exotic marketplace, 'Basar' is filled with different sights and sounds around every corner. From the deep and mystical 'NGONI' which takes West African music to the rave with wobbling bass and hints of 90s ethno-dub to the killer squirmer of a bassline on 'Language of the Bass ft. Alex Voices' which keeps things heavy but nimble whilst recapturing UK bass histrionics. The smokey, soulful tones of OFRIN on 'Ready For Something New' offers a mystical downbeat gem. Whereas 'Basa Basa' takes it back to the dancefloor for a sweaty rhythmic number that bounces off the walls with it's tribal funk groove. Recent 12' single 'Rhythm Is All You Can Dance' also makes an appearance, wedding funk, earthy rhythms and frenzied African grooves to the gurgle of an 808.

The duo made their debut back in 2013 with 'Tummy Tummy', which featured on Will Speculators W.T. Recordings compilation "DJ MUSCLE." The following year Golf Channel put out "Lagos New York." Pairing New York flecked disco with West African bass and rhythms, "Lagos New York" made for one of 2014's most essential electronic releases.

Having found the right home with one of the best labels (and parties) in New York City, the Berliners debut album 'Basar' has the feeling of an essential piece of music all over - a big, brooding, emotional and uplifting record that you can dance, laugh and cry to.

The album is inspired by the music of Eric Dolphy and John Coltrane, Indian Raga and African Polyritmic structures and evolves around the story of Paddy Roy Bates, a british major and pirate radio broadcaster, who founded the micro nation 'Principality of Sealand' two months after the death of Coltrane.

'Late Style' is a collection of live takes recorded directly from a Hohner church organ at the point of collapse. This circuitry of this hulking synth, long-installed at Kit HQ, has inexplicably decayed over time, rendering drum loops and melodies as raptures of white noise, squelches and bizarrely spiralling clangs. These weirdly moving digital swan-songs are clearly labelled after the presets that were triggered during recording - 'waltz', 'flutes', etc.

On the B-side, pianist Devon Loch and experimental producer Antidröm join forces, arranging recordings from the organ together with contact mic and field recordings, to create four new pieces. In music and art, late style often means an unfettered outpouring in later life. Perhaps these recordings show that circuitry and software have lives too, too. Like creatures and plants, they change over time, they decay, confront mortality, and their functions adapt.

33 offers the most fine and rare form of sensitivity. Nery blends electronic and acoustic patterns as if they grew up together, proving that having differentiated influences can result in something particular. If "Silent Light" brings the uttermost Flying Lotus feelings, where Nery's beat dizziness and its multiple percussion atmosphere drags to a Super Mario gameplay, "Snake's Head" pushes soul to a modern era, where every backing vocal, drum beat, and synth is exactly where it should breathe. Demonstrating an incredible understanding to drive us between worlds, each track presents something fresh but somehow related with our own innocence: from the organic and delicate textures in tracks, "Give U" and "Mom" where Teebs and Shigeto can be felt on the horizon, to a dauntless and original pop beat in "Jealous" or to the swirly dance between synths and guitars creating a sui generis coloured pattern ambience in "Jigsaw About Noise Known Illusion" like an aurora borealis. 33 takes us to journey of reality and fantasy where the Portuguese producer spent more time in studios, while recording musicians and searching for unique details than producing his tracks. To fully dress his musical drawings, Nery summoned fourteen artists, including jazz musicians, percussionists, singers and producers: including for instance the Austrian-Taiwanese Soia (worked with Raashan Ahmad (Jakarta Records) and Jazzo & Melodiesinfonie (Soulection) - the Belgian movie director Margo - remixed by LTGL (Tangram) - or the Portuguese Elisa Rodrigues - vocalist from These New Puritans - as singers, the wonderkid producer Holly and the Berklee College awarded Andre Fernandes, which make 33 even more balanced and brighter. As a debut album, 33 reflects an immediate and impregnated delicate sense of palpable feelings. Nery's meticulous management of silences and texture dynamics lead us to an odyssey of each one's own essence.

* Matt Preston aka Phaeleh reprises the sounds of his 2014 album 'Somnus' with a second long playing ambient deviation. Intended as a soundtrack to explore the perception of self-importance, 'Illusion Of The Tale' operates with a reduced sonic palette of effected live synthesiser workouts and experimental recording techniques infused with worldwide field recordings.

* The majority of 'Illusion Of The Tale' is based heavily on live synth recordings, recorded live with inherent human mistakes and imperfections kept in to avoid the heavily repetitive process of working 'in the box'. A selection of tracks are recordings using Phaeleh's live show setup, which resamples and manipulates existing material. Some are constructed using more traditional composition - 'In the Emerald' is a live piano recording and live doubling of that part with classical guitar - whereas others are strongly experimental - 'Origins' is made from his thumb holding the end of a cable running through a pedal board, then looped and pitched down.

* Layers of field recordings were added to the tracks to create a sense of noise or the real world. Recorded over a few years, collecting these sounds took Phaeleh from Bristol cemeteries, libraries in Wiltshire and Welsh rock pools to getting lost in the Costa Rican rainforest, riding the Hong Kong MTR underground, walking through cicadas in Colorado and watching Melbourne skateboarders. Ideas for the album's cartographic artwork, evocative of the minimalism movement, started flowing after the music was mostly finished, informed from the idea of recordings from around the world and the travels that accompanied them.

* Since his debut release in 2008, Phaeleh has developed an inimitable style of electronic music, cementing his position as one of the most consistently exciting producers to emerge from his hometown of Bristol. He returned from a hiatus this spring with the 'All That Remains' EP, five tracks ranging from icy house dystopia, heartbreaking solo piano, garage roots explorations, classical themes and guitar driven melancholia - supported by DJ shows at Motion, Bristol and Fabric, London. 'Illusion of the Tale' satisfies the demand for new music from his incredibly dedicated fan base and cleans the palate for a new full artist album currently in development.

* "The album title is my polite way of saying we live in a world of bullshit and bullshitters. Essentially I feel we all live in a constant lie, whether it be our Facebook profile pictures, the need to present our lives as perfect, with good looking partners, intelligent children, the perfect job etc. People feel the need to present their situations as being something they're not. We all suffer. We all have setbacks and difficulties, but we live in a world where people always want to pretend everything is fine. I feel that the music provides a chance to pause and escape the illusion of the everyday lie we present not only to the world but also ourselves. One of the most important things I did was embrace the ultimate pointlessness of all our existences in the grand scheme of the universe. I still believe that we should make the most of our time here and lead positive lives and be nice human beings, but I do find it funny that we as a species think we matter, when really we don't. So I guess it's my way of saying nothing really matters, stop pretending everything is perfect, and let go of this collective lie and just take some time to chill the fuck out. I want the album to be an escape from everyday lives. I want it to be a soundtrack for people to let go."

Adelbert von Deyen ist heute als Maler eine bekannte Größe, aber als Musiker verwirklichte der gelernte
Grafiker und Retuscheur seine ersten eigenen visionären Werke. 1978 erschien seine Debüt-LP "Sternzeit",
für die er natürlich auch selbst das Cover malte. Auch den Rest besorgte der Keyboarder mit Pioniergeist in
Eigenregie. Seit Anfang der 70er-Jahre experimentierte er mit Synthesizern und elektronischer Musik und
nicht nur sein damaliger Wohnort weist ihn als Vertreter der sogenannten Berliner Schule um Künstler wie
Klaus Schulze oder Edgar Froese (Tangerine Dream) aus. Auf "Sternzeit" lässt er sich beim Aufbau der
Stu¨cke viel Zeit und verweilt oft unbeschwert in tonalen Interferenzen und Schwebezuständen. Auch der
Ho¨rer muss sich Zeit nehmen, wird dafu¨r aber mit einem kontemplativen Zen-Effekt belohnt. Nicht zufällig
veröffentlichte das in Krautrock-Kreisen hoch angesehene Label Sky die Original-LP in seinem exquisiten
Katalog. So wurde von Deyen Labelmate seiner Idole Michael Rother, Hans-Joachim Roedelius oder Brian
Eno. "Sternzeit" bezirzt mit vollen, analogen Synthesizer-Flächen und mit gefühlvollen Space-Effekten. Die BSeite enthält nur einen einzigen Titel, dessen Basis ein gehaltener - oder besser gesagt: mit Klebeband an
der Taste fixierter - Orgelton mit Vibrato ist, der eine hypnotisierende Wirkung entfaltet. Adelbert von Deyen
ist ein höchst unkonventioneller Musiker, der sich später lange Zeit ausschließlich der Malerei widmete,
mittlerweile aber auch wieder Alben veröffentlicht.

Beau Wanzer returns with another LP of archival material plucked from the mutant mounds of shitty coughs and smelly feet. Wanzer digs deep and delivers twelve tracks in his inimitable style, with some dating as far back as 1999.
The brutal electronic punk productions like 'Something Stinks' are balanced with moldy movements such as 'Staring at at Fish'. This LP takes a more vocal heavy and menacing approach, but it's not without moments of respite. Undoubtedly another oozing outing from the Chicago deviant.

He has produced records of Jacuzzi Boys, Ho99o9, Jessica Hernandez, and Girlyboi. In 2013, he has composed soundtrack 14 short films for Steven Sebring's Revolution series. In 2014, his first short film "The Good Gray Poet" was an installation at MOMA PS1-Rockaway

Alpha Pup Records presents Mù Chè Shan Chu by Howie Lee: an innovative producer, master sound curator, and ambassador from the Chinese musical underground. Born in Beijing where he lives now, Lee has lived in London, recorded in Taipei, and is now releasing his debut album on a Los Angeles label - truly a global phenomenon. After being hit up by Snoop Lion for a remix in 2012, Lee's future music from Downtown Beijing' busted out of China to captivate crowds with its thoroughly unique style. His distinct approach blends local samples, traditional Chinese sounds, and inventive modern rhythms. Tracks are drenched thickly in bass and imbued with the fresh feel of youth - and often, are right at home on the dance floor. Gripping from the very beginning, intro track The Gate' invites you into the artist's underground world and sets the tone for an expansive, epic journey. Syncopated beats strut through Cloud Lamps,' and Sinka (feat. Zhang Yang)' steps right into a thundercloud. Bei Hai' is a riveting experiment with an alluring rhythm, a warm wash of sounds that pulls in unexpected directions. Mù Chè Shan Chu is always in motion. ständig verwandelnden Ganzen. Insgesamt stellt "Glass Bird Movement" das achte Studiowerk des
Bandprojekts dar, welches 2016 schon zwei Dekaden auf dem Buckel hat. Was zwischen den Zeilen
geschrieben bedeutet: Der Austausch von Ideen zwischen England und Dänemark, wo sich Ryan derzeit
aufhält, funktioniert immer noch tadellos. Über die Nordsee hinweg haben die Zwei in solider Handarbeit ein
Album gesponnen, das nicht weniger als an die Blütezeit von Boards Of Canada, an die freundlicheren
Produktionen von Aphex Twin und an die fokussierten Momente von Ulrich Schnauss erinnert.
Nichtsdestotrotz, und das gilt selbstredend auch für den beeindruckenden Backkatalog, besitzt "Glass Bird
Movement" eine ganze eigene, ausgeprägte Signatur. Denn letztlich ist Isan eine Formation, die in einer

Kindred spirits Boards of Canada and Teebs make an appearance in dreamy collaboration with Odd Nosdam's Sisters Remix EP. Throughout, the producers split time between cosmic, slow burning beats and reflective soundscapes littered with intriguing textures and mind-bending samples. Analogue sounds are generous and knowingly manipulated. Gorgeous samples are deployed, sturdy yet emotional. Cymbals explode. When the sun finally breaks through on an overcast day, Sisters was very much inspired by that wonderful moment... and the longing for it.'

Yamaneko's debut album Pixel Wave Embrace was highly praised by Dummy, Dazed, Resident Advisor, FACT and Juno Plus, who ranked it #14 in their best albums of 2014. The album is already considered a cult classic (its limited cassette run sold out in a matter of weeks), with DJ support from Mumdance, Logos, Objekt, Kassem Mosse, Peverelist and more. Ahead of new solo albums for both artists, Yaroze Dream Suite finds them collaborating at the top of their game and promises to be one of 2015's most arresting experimental records.

The first of the three creatives brought together by Total Freedom is musician and visual artist FATIMA AL QADIRI. Al Qadiri is a Kuwaiti music producer and artist. She has released music as a solo artist on Tri Angle, UNO, Fade to Mind, Hyperdub and as a member of Future Brown on Warp. Al Qadiri is also a member of the Gulf-based collective GCC, whose work has been exhibited at MoMA PS1 and others.
Joining Fatima on the project is award-winning, Berlin-based artist and writer, HITO STEYERL whom is one of the most critically acclaimed artists working in the field of video today. Steyerl's work focuses on contemporary issues such as feminism and militarisation, as well as the mass proliferation and dissemination of images and knowledge brought on by digital technologies.
JULIANA HUXTABLE, the third creative involved in 'Nothing Forever', is an American poet, artist, and DJ living in New York. Huxtable is co-founder of the queer party in New York City called #ShockvalueNYC and is a member of the House of Ladosha.
'Nothing Forever' is now available to pre-order now and will be released here and on site at the 9th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art and The Store, Berlin at the end of the month.

Lieder schreiben, um Rührung haltbar zu machen für raue Zeiten: Odd Beholder wurde 2013 in einem Luftschutzkeller in Dietikon gegründet. Daniela Weinmann schrieb die Lieder in der Wohnung des Künstlers Curdin Tones in Amsterdam. Aufgenommen wurde die Musik in Berlin. Live ist Odd Beholder von minimalistischem Drumprogramming und Synthsounds geprägt. Den Videoclip zur Single "Landscape Escape" drehten die Berliner Filmer Grambow & Kirchknopf in Aserbaidschan in Zusammenarbeit mit der Azerbaijan Social & Modern Dance Association. Für das EP-Cover konnten sie die Künstler Taiyo Onorato und Nico Krebs gewinnen. Ihre Debüt-EP erscheint am 16. September 2016.

Downwell brings back the retro - of course its soundtrack deserves a proper vinyl release. Black Screen Records is releasing the official soundtrack to the celebrated and much praised video game Downwell on audiophile 180 gram vinyl. The pressing will be available limited edition, audiophile 180g red vinyl. The music was composed by Eirik Suhrke who also contributed his impressive work to the soundtracks of games like Spelunky, Ridiculous Fishing, Hotline Miami and Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom. The soundtrack also includes two additional tracks by Ilkae (Aaron Munson). Composer Eirik Suhrke on the soundtrack: For the Downwell soundtrack I set out to create somewhat sparse, exotic, dark little chiptune-centric jazz pieces. Inspired by the likes of Erik Satie, Ryoji Yoshitomi, Minako Hamano, Alex Mauer, Ilkae and Jun Ishikawa. Parts of the soundtrack were written on- and recorded off a Game Boy, other parts were written with the sample-based Impulse tracker. Myself, Joonas and Ojiro all worked closely to make sure music, sound design and gameplay all worked in tandem, with each element influencing each other throughout development. It's also my personal favorite soundtrack I've written to date. A curious man' with guns for boots, who started out on mobile platforms and PC and due to overwhelming response made it to PS4 & PS Vita in May 2016. Downwell is a game that works as short pastime or for hours of madness, excitement and addiction. While developing and unlocking new features the player will find himself rapidly spurred by the minimalistic and yet haunting music that contributes to this games joyful and unique style and makes it a experience you find yourself returning to over and over again.

Known for his diverse releases on labels such as Bunker, Panzerkreuz, Further or Shimmering Moods Ian Martin has developed his very unique own brand of electronic music. To categorize his music is difficult which adds an immense appeal to his approch on his releases. Clairvoyant is no exception to this. It's been five years since his acclaimed debut 'Severant' and time has proved it prescient, its futuristic trap influence is now ubiquitous. 'Slow Knife' seems to return to where 'Severant' left off, but with the intricate sound design of last year's haunting EP 'Assertion Of A Surrounding Presence' subsumed into the compositions, making them more exacting and beautifully crafted. Between albums Kuedo has been working as a sound designer and composer for hire and the application of intent and widescreen rigour that commercial work requires has definitely found its way into the new album. 'Slow Knife' has the subtlety, ambition and pacing of a brilliant soundtrack - a sense of an album of scenes, that easily lends itself to an impressionistic narrative. But, as with 'Severant', the title suggests relationship unease, with the slow knife being a metaphor for the building resentment in any close relationship. 'Slow Knife' is almost two albums, the first half, according to Kuedo, invokes the seduction of the city, taking the music of Michael Mann's 'Manhunter' as a cue, with the latter half being inspired by the bloody starscapes and voodoo wilderness of films such as 'Angel Heart', 'Night Of The Hunter' and more recently the 'True Detective' series. Both halves of the album are also in thrall to Mica Levi's inspiring 'Under The Skin' soundtrack, especially in the turbulence of the mid-section. The songs of the albums first half are synthetic and seductive, a gelatinous veil with shades of the pseudo-sophisticated trance of Enigma, of all things, underpinned with dusky unsettling shadows and atmosphere. 'In Your Sleep', perhaps surprisingly, features the vocals of Hayden Thorpe from Wild Beasts, who settles his dark, whispered vocals into the moonlit shadowy atmosphere. 'Floating Forest' is the first track to allow back some of Kuedo's experimentation with the Southern rap template, which he explored before it became commonplace, with echoed drum splashes and a sinister repetitive motif, ending with a haunting growl. The second half of the album enters wilderness territory with 'Approaching's slow descending notes, before 'Broken Fox - Black Hole' throws the record into the cathartic darkness, as undulating chords play hide and seek with riotous reeds and scratchy strings grown from challenging collaborations with cello player Koenraad Ecker (from Lumisokea). 'Breaking The Surface' shivers and coils, before metal and strings dominate while 'In Your Skin' feels like being lost in a vast hinterland before 'Warmer Light' introduces some memories of sunshine, with its plucked bassline and spiralling dub. 'Halogen Light' opens with the sound of crickets and a clear piano, cleansing the soul before 'Lathe' brings things down to earth with a short, yet powerful coda.

HVNX is a new Hivern sub-label focused in concept EP's and mini- albums from artists in the label's orbit. The series will be a platform for more adventurous sounds, with a special accent in techno and hard- ware jams. Every release will include a photocopied inlay with a mood board of the artists' inspiration for that release.
Bep Kororoti is a mythical ancient astronaut worshipped by the tribes of the Amazon Jungle. It's also the name chosen by Alejandro Rodri´- guez aka Kresy for his new side project. The music on this 12' mostly comes from hardware live jams recorded in one take, which translates into the primal energy of the tracks. Constructed around raw drums, decayed tones, corroded synths, acid bursts, ritualistic chants and an overall toxic haze, it's music that sounds primitive, menacing and intri- guing all at once. Just as the tales of ancestral visitors from outer space that inspired it.
All the releases of the series will come wrapped in a special sleeve designed bi Hivern's in-house designer Arnau Pi.

Love Means Taking Action' is the new album from the multifaceted Copenhagen-based artist Loke Rahbek under his alias Croatian Amor. It is the first full-length Croatian Amor recording since 2014's 'The Wild Palms,' a release that was made available on cassette for a single month, and only in exchange for a nude self-portrait. 'Love Means Taking Action' will receive a wider, conventional release on vinyl through Posh Isolation, on CD through Alter, and across digital platforms. The artist will also be giving away stems of the entire record. A free download will be made available on from September 30th, the album's release date. With the stems comes an open invitation for anyone to use them as they see fit, making them public commons. Since the inception of the project, Croatian Amor has dealt with a mixture of fiction and reality, often using real events and places as a platform for a largely fictional play. Where there is playfulness, there is revelation. On 'Love Means Taking Action'—without a doubt the project's strongest work to date—the effect of the perpetual collaging of information is keenly felt. Short, unnerving moments appear with slick familiarity. Voices repeat and quietly glitch through tonal shifts. We are ushered along by the shuddering effect of the samples and field recordings on the pristine synthesis, with motifs and plot lines presented as quickly as they disintegrate. We are enticed to find comfort here but we are not guided through a space as with much ambient music. The textures and terrains that 'Love Means Taking Action' present form an array of scenarios with what at times feels like a punishing degree of indifference to the listener. We are bluntly shown snippets of impassioned architectures. It is a process that draws the listener in through alienation. There is something in the way that the music and track titles progress which is not unlike the experience of submitting to social media news feeds, where love stories become the neighbours of civil wars and selfies, and reports from refugee camps are presented next to advertisements for lifestyle magazines. 'Love Means Taking Action' lets the fragmented motifs of fictions tenderly tug at reality's patchwork veil. In the artist's own words, 'Love Means Taking Action' is "twelve tracks of very human electronic music."

Experimental synth quartet S U R V I V E's sophomore full-length and Relapse debut is a dark, sweeping exercise in analog synth mastery. "The pulsating, 9-song instrumental release showcases immense diversity between tracks - RR7349's compositions range from grim tom-tom thunder to space-age epics, pairing tense plodding grooves with meditative ambience and driving, rhythmic beats. Inspired by IDM and horror scores alike, RR7349 is simultaneously ominous and hopeful, tense and relaxed, percussive and melodic. Additionally, two of the group's members also recently scored the soundtrack for Stranger Things"

"Sabina" is a suite of improvised music about nature and magic. About the kind of traces we leave or want to leave on Earth. All music on this tape (except A4) was improvised and recorded in one take in Corbeil-Essonnes, France, during the last week of October 2015. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Richard Frances.

Frances is a French composer/musician born in Alicante in 1981 and now based in Paris. His project Acid Fountain seeks to bring together abstract and representational art, improvisation and composition, experimental and dance musics.

Other projects by Frances include Juju, his "electronique libre" duo with Adrien Kanter. He also composes, arranges and tours with French pop artists such as Owlle and Adrien Soleiman, to name but two..., As a live performer, he has worked on Julien Lheuillier's kosmische musik project Pointe du Lac and in 2015 has collaborated with the French art/dance collective (LA)HORDE. Previously, Richard played drums and synthesisers with French underground psych/kraut/drone band The New Reformed Church of Napalm Katia.

In January 2015 Richard founded the label Hyle Tapes: an experimental electronic music label releasing limited edition cassettes by international artists like Takahiro Mukai, Raphael Leray, D. Burke Mahoney, Jay Glass Dubs and Mortuus Auris & The Black Hand.
