New PMR Records signing SG Lewis releases his debut single on sister singles label Beat Club. The 20 year old producer and DJ who had a long standing residency as Liverpool's Chibuku club, has already received incredible support from club from the likes of Tensnake, Todd Edwards, TCTS, Sinden, DJ EZ, Icarus, Breakage, Motez, Moxie and Tom Findlay. Plus strong radio support which has included Annie Mac, Pete Tong and Toddla T. The Warmed Up Edit which features on the B side, is exclusive to this heavy weight vinyl release.

Montreal-based composer Drew Gragg conjures those rapt moments of music that burst from solitude. Here's an artist who understands boredom, its sublime ambience, and how an idea builds to wake you from it. 'Adsr Toms' takes three things, a piano, a fuzzy pitched drum and an infectious rim-shot that shape and reshape before dropping casually into the proximity of a gentle four-four. Grooves build to elegant cairns, sounding of stones as they beat in a cold undertow. Sometimes things seem formless. On 'Ostinate', a piano and pillowy tape hiss play alone before a single bounding kick threads their sounds together. Gragg studied jazz guitar and classical composition before beginning to explore electroacoustic production. His experience manifests in an elegant intention of melody that drives and switches directions thoughtfully throughout. While one might say 'techno,' or 'downtempo,' 'Over-Under' defies obvious labels with a clear-eyed fascination in the bare mechanics of sound. Results are spare and meticulous, musical sparks of mathematical intricacy, without a bit of lost humanity.

In recent times, Phantasy have provided the soundtrack for many adrenaline fuelled nights and hazy mornings with critically acclaimed albums from Daniel Avery ('Drone Logic') and Connan Mockasin ('Forever Dolphin Love' & 'Caramel'). From Norway's oldest city Tonsberg comes the stargazing sounds of Klaus Lunde: an acclaimed and prolific electronic music composer, his array of releases under the Xerxes Music pseudonym explore a unique take on ambience and tonal electronica that's a mesmerising and accomplished body of work to be sure.

This, undoubtedly many people's first introduction to his work, is a perfectly pitched collection that highlights the familiar themes of the Xerxes work, but fits easily into the Drum Island blueprint of music for the midnight sun. On the Exerxes EP, we're treated to pulsating Balearic trance and zero gravity house before gliding into relaxed ambience, soothing New Age and horizontal night music.
We then dive further into the psychedelic ocean hidden below with truly tripped out Kosmiche vignettes of warping and spine-tingling odd-pop.

From a festival to a feature to friendship, from techno to electronica to a band. In this manner towards twitter compatibility, one may describe eating snow's previous path, which has really just begun for Douglas Greed and Mooryc, with only few characters. The two of them met in 2010 at a festival in Poland, only shortly afterwards the joint tracks - Pain and - Morning Gloria developed, which can be listened to on Douglas Greed's debut album - KRL . However, - Dougi and Mooryc weren't just in tune with each other quickly, they also automatically arrived at a common sound despite their different musical roots, which ranges from sensual indietronica to powerful house right up to perfectly grooving pop moments.

The young duo work at the Kitchenstudio3 since 2011, where they produced a lot of good stuff, including a track featuring Kyle Hall (released by Wild Oats Music), their debut Ep on Bosconi Records, two tracks released by Nick Anthony Simoncino's Hotmix Records, and many other cool works.
On the other side there is a power track, spinning at 45 tmp, produced by the mysterious Grienkho, appeared on Pushmaster Records and Austerity, and Kosmik, legendary record collector from south of Italy.

Collezione MONDO The name MONDO has its roots in "MONDO MOVIES", an italian movie genre born in the 60's. Mondo movies are characterized by documentary-like content that addresses several topics from around the world ("mondo"). The Mondo label has the goal to produce music that is descriptive of concepts, images and environments. Mondo is inspired by library music, a genre frequently used as theme or background music in radio, film and television in that very same period. Production music libraries typically offer a broad range of musical styles and genres describing everything ranging from deserts to war and sports. Library music composers and session performers had no constraint at all. They typically work anonymously, have rarely become known outside their professional circle and they have produced what probably is the most creative music catalogue ever. The Mondo productions started with four releases to describe locations: dedicated to seascapes; scenarios range from sea fauna to poaching, from natural parks to sea dunes. Two-thirds of Sigur Rós, bass player Georg Holm and drummer Orri Páll Dýrason, have teamed up with Icelandic composer Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson and Sigur Rós touring guitarist, and Georg's brother, Kjartan Holm to create an uninterrupted 72-minute instrumental album inspired by 100 years of archive footage of vaudeville, circuses and carnivals. A pulsating work throughout, the 14 track album, which has been made to accompany the forthcoming BBC documentary film The Show of Shows, was written and recorded at Sigur Rós's new studio space in Reykjavik, and features contributions from the celebrated South Iceland Chamber Choir.

Rote Liebe releases Tim Keiling's new album under his 'Erdbeerschnitzel' moniker. In contrast to his recent dancefloor-oriented EPs on Delsin Records, 'The Attendants' is hovering over more subtle grounds, featuring a mixture of contemporary electronic composition and hazy experimental pieces just outside the dancefloor proper. Rote Liebe is a Cologne-based collective, founded in 2006 with a focus on events in various off-locations and clubs around the city. 2013 marked the launch of the Rote Liebe label with the aim to build a catalogue which features a broad musical spectrum, featuring House, Techno, Broken Beat and Experimental Electronics just as the regular Rote Liebe nights.

Skye Klein's Terminal Sound System is a project born in a dingy Melbourne warehouse at the turn of the century. On the more than ten past releases, TSS merged epic doom, post-rock and jazz with electronica, drum'n'bass, heavy dub and ethereal vocals into a style wholly unique. The new album 'Dust Songs', which sees its release in December 2014 on Denovali Records, ist a logical extrapolation and a surprise at the same time.

Classic/ Experimental.. Skeylja"" An invented word combining the Frisian word for Terschelling, ""Skylge"", and the Icelandic word for island,"Eyjan" Skeylja is an international multimedia project, based around the ideas of improvisational music and the coming together of musicians from different countries and musical backgrounds to create a spontaneous sonic landscape. The project started when The Alvaret Ensemble (Greg Haines, Jan & Romke Kleefstra, and Sytze Pruiksma), who you may know from their eponymous debut on Denovali in 2012, travelled to Iceland to try to find a shared music language with the Icelandic musicians Ingi Garðar Erlendsson, Kira Kira, Borgar Magnason and Eiríkur Orri Ólafsson . They were joined by the 33 1/3 Collective, a group of visual artists from the Netherlands, who began to collect footage that would later be used as source material for the visual side of the performance. Some months later, after a successful week of traveling to beautiful locations and playing music together, the group met again, this time during the Oerol festival on the island of Terschelling in the Netherlands, for a series of nine sold-out shows in an old church, all of which were being recorded. Each artist ""curated"" a rough plan for one evening, which could be anything from hand-drawn images to be interpreted musically to more precise plans of structures and combinations of musicians to be explored. Never were the notes, or the content of the music itself, discussed - this was instead left up to chance and developed through listening intently to each-other, trying to create an atmosphere where each player was vital, but where everyone always worked towards the whole. After ten intense days on the island, all that was left were the memories of the audience and, luckily, a hard-drive with over ten hours of recorded music. After everyone had had a chance to listen back to rough mixes of each night and make comments, the material was taken to Greg Haines' Electricity Works studio in Berlin, where the long process of selecting, editing and mixing began. Finally, almost two years after that first initial meeting in Reykjavik, the album is complete and ready to be released into the world. We hope you enjoy it. mpermanence is the third full length album from Gregory Pappas' OKADA project and his first for emotive electronics outpost n5MD.

The title is taken from one of the three marks of Buddhism where it is believed that all existence is in a state of flux. The four long play tracks
that make up Impermanence equal such a pragmatic whole that perfectly affirms such an album title. Moments of solace and hope give way to momentary passages of happiness and love only to unknowingly become anxious, dark and claustrophobic blankets of uncertainty.

The segments of gnarled aggression that rear their head seem to never let up. Yet when released are consoled by warm ambient passages highlighting magnanimous emotive piano. Such beauty is ever present but just as in life is ever fleeting.

These ephemeral passages are what makes Impermanence so special.
Much like life where nothing is truly permanent.

Next up on Optimo Music is the next wave of unique talent to emerge from Glasgow, once again recorded in the near-legendary Green Door studio.
Four tracks of highly original, impossible to pigeonhole, dancefloor-not-dancefloor music.
Junto Club are four men from Glasgow who have remained friends since they were teenagers through creating music they love. Whilst learning new instruments during a long winter, their sound was fashioned unexpectedly with sporadic melodies overlaid on taut drum machines, synthesizers and bass guitar. Many humble dance moves followed as the band began to carouse behind closed doors with their newly-found rhythm.

After three albums recorded as Papik and having being in charge of producing albums for Ely Bruna, Matteo Brancaleoni, Neja and Fred Buccini, the great passion for Nerio 'Papik' Poggi are the tribute albums dedicated to his inspirational music myths. The first project came out two years ago and was dedicated to the great singer and composer 'Bruno Martino', a fantastic album called 'Cocktail Martino'. This new work is dedicated to the greatest Italian singer of all times, Mina Mazzini, best known as 'Mina'. Mina is an unbeatable performer known all around the world for her vocal skills and for the vastness of her recordings. Back from 1950 to date, her Albums are constantly in the Italian charts and are exported in a large number of foreign countries. The choice of songs from her immense catalogue was not easy for Papik, who tried to select not only the most classic songs but also some lesser-known gems. Among the most classic: Parole parole, Le 1000 bolle blu, Grande grande grande, L'importante è finire, La banda e Città vuota (also in English) and the most peculiar : Ancora un uomo, Improvvisamente, Brivido Felino, Io innamorata, Non credere, Neve. Darkel is the solo project of Jean-Benoît Dunckel, who is also known as half of the french duo AIR. His first solo album came out in 2006, at the same time as Charlotte Gainsbourg's '5:55' album that he produced alongside with his acolyte from AIR.

As well as participating to mythical soundtracks with AIR (Virgin Suicides, Lost In Translation, Marie Antoinette, Quartier Lointain, Pioneer...), Jean-Benoît composed the score of 'Bee', 'Je M'Appelle Hmm', and also the quirky film 'Cyprien' but always in a very organic and solar electronic spirit. Recently, Jean-Benoît finished the soundtrack of the film 'L'été de Sangailé' by Alanté Kavaïté, to be released in July 2015.

With the breathtaking transevangelistic comedy, 'Moth', written for and featuring the compelling vocal of Money Allah, Elysia pays tribute to legendary Afro-American comedians Stepin Fetchit and Bert Williams against a sweeping backdrop of vapourous synths and strings perhaps best compared, in terms of sonics, with the deep synthetic topographies of TCF and Arca (or is it the other way around). In the most striking sense, it's a song that will stick with you long, long after it's finished. The immersive instrumental B-side, 'Lake', is Elysia's version of a Bolivian Saya, a work song/dance style which can trace its roots back to the original mixture of Andean and African traditions during the first days of slavery in South America, and also makes reference to John Bunyan's 17th C religious text, 'Pilgrim's Progress' and the railroad path near the Shenandoah Mountains, Virginia, where the piece's crepsucular patina of field recordings were sourced. Quite simply, it's a hugely recommended record from a genuinely exceptional and incisive artist.

Since the release of his second album Eleven in 2012 ( Stunning' - Dazed & Confused, Brilliant' - NME), Mr Fogg has continued to tread an unconventional path. In 2014 he spent several months working behind the scenes on the evelopment of Thom Yorke's BitTorrent experiment, recorded a duet with the singing comet 67P and unveiled a previously unheard collaboration with Under The Skin composer Micachu.

Stratford-raised Denai Moore signed to London independent label, Because Music (Metronomy, Little Dragon, Django Django...) and then Ben Drew was in touch; he'd heard a couple of Denai's songs and wanted to work with her on production, eventually producing The Lake EP in 2013 (he's since signed her to his publishing company.). A much vaunted solo spot on the BBC's Later... with Jools Holland followed, Denai commanding a grand piano under the studio spotlight. 'This girl's really special!' remarked a YouTube commenter days later. Special indeed. To discuss influences is to give very little indication of what route Denai was to take or indeed has ultimately taken. She's as passionate about the music of Joey Bada$$ and Tinashe as she is of Bon Iver, Kendrick Lamar, and Foals. Raury's music excites her, whilst James Vincent McMorrow contributed to a track on her 'I Swore' EP. Denai's cover of Band of Horses' 'Part One' was heard by the band and her version re-recorded by them. At the tail-end of last year, it came as little surprise that Denai's distinctive soul voice could be heard on SBTRKT's acclaimed 2014 album, on the track 'The Light', which she co-wrote with him. Denai recently completed a UK and European tour in support of and in collaboration with him. Fresh from those album sessions, the captivating 'I Swore EP' drew 2014 to a melodic close and gave a hint as to what's to come. Denai (aided solely by piano) performed a live session on Huw Stephens Radio 1 show at the tail end of the year, whilst the EP's title track was lauded as BBC Introducing Track of the Week on 1Xtra.

Copenhagen-based label Music For Dreams are proud to present the new single from Danish duo Visti & Meyland. Written and produced during winter in a remote forest cottage in the far north of Denmark, the two songs included here represent the pair's current state of mind. 'Open Your Arms' conveys the simple idea of openness - a desire to open your eyes, open your arms and carry on, despite the hardships in the way. The production is driven by a very catchy bassline, acoustic drums, mixed with analogue synths, arpeggiated swirls, vocals, piano stabs and a c-part reminiscent of 70s progrock - a funky track for the Balearic brigade. The next track Hand In Hand' started out as a homage to a Visti & Meyland favourite - 60's cult-icon Bob Lind - but took a completely different turn than originally intended and evolved into a beautiful love/relationship song with a summerish yet melancholic sound. Opening with vocals, gradually introducing slow vocoder beats, hand played analogue arpeggios, old-school picked bass and one-take improvised vocals, the track culminates in a piano potpourri of recent Visti & Meyland compositions. Remix duties go to Manchester DJ and production extraordinaire Be Garth Be who delivers a classic Chicago house-influenced dubbed out version of "Open Your Arms". Another strong package from the label that carries the Balearic flag in 2015.

Includes an instant download of the album** Lifted is a stellar new project sparked off by Matthew Papich (Co La) and Future Times overlord Max D for PAN. Realised and rendered together with Jordan GCZ and Gigi Masin, among others, their debut LP '1' is an elegant exercise in breaking free of the grid, consolidating a spectrum of congruent ideas and idiosyncratic styles with a beautifully communal spirit putting a contemporary spin on the freedoms of '70s jazz fusion. From initial studio sessions recorded by Matthew and Max in their respective Baltimore and Washington DC studios, they incorporate synth and piano overdubs dialled in from Amsterdam and Venice, hashing out an inter-continental web of hyaline electronics, jazz ballistics and alien dance patterns that surprises and delights with every turn. Stepping into vividly new territory with the fractious post-footwork spurts of '3D', their kaleidoscopic world twists between the sheer computer jazz fusions of 'Intoo' and visionary 4.1 World house in 'Total Care Zero', glyding on the digitally creamed quintessence of 'Bell Slide' to the intra-dimensional ambience of Gigi Masin's keys and Papich's 3D FX in 'Silver', and adroit Afro-futurist jazz in 'Mint' starring 1432R co-founder Dawit Eklund on bass + synth. On a lysergic level of production detail, '1' is up there with Pete Kember's work on the recent Panda Bear album, but the dextrous grooves and intoxicating jazz vibes place it over the horizon, just beyond Move D's classic Conjoint project or Detroit's Urban Tribe classics. Haunting in it's ardor for subdued atmospheric murk and dissipating electronic dream-pop transmissions, Pazes' debut full-length album 'Induced' is loosely an exercise in musical intent vs. unknown forces that forge the end result in-between. Commenting on the process, the Berlin-based (by way of Brazil) Pazes remarks, "I like to think feelings and ideas are separate things and if I'm expressing anything with music, I want it to be the latter. However within the process it becomes very hard to control what you're doing and where you're going. Naturally, this is analogue to many other realms of experience, this difficulty in exerting some sort of control over actions even when things are very clear and defined."
Focused and fluid, 'Induced' curiously exudes a uncommon sense of mystery and melancholy presenting itself in vaguely menacing starkness, wistful ambience, creeping bass groan, and the exploration of textures ranging from almost-weightless to gritty. Cascading arpeggios meet off-kilter rhythm structures containing element traces of hip-hop/trip-hop and leftfield techno/dubstep, yet the mood of 'Induced' has as much in common with bleary-eyed post-punk or shoegaze as it does with any contemporary electronic music scenes. Largely an instrumental journey, Istanbul's Biblo returns for two otherworldly songs ("Sion" and "Every One") on 'Induced', while Paris-based pop chanteuse Andrea Balency contributes to the heart-wrenchingly gorgeous album closer 'Remnants'.
