It's a venture we all have been looking forward to for a long time. As an artist who has become an integral part of the Liquicity family since his debut "Dreamcatcher" release in 2016, Edlan has taken us on a journey with some incredible releases over the years. From his recent "Take A Bow" single to the "Go Back Home" EP. But his next project is a particularly special destination - Edlan's debut album, "Landmarks"!

It couldn't be a more fitting title for a project representing a landmark occasion for Edlan. Three years in the making, the album is one directed at appreciating the moments in life bringing us joy. For Edlan, times spent road tripping around Europe with his parents were some of the most joyful, and it's this inspiration he has built the story of Landmarks around.

Unfortunately, we couldn't rent a car big enough to fit the entire Liquicity family in... But it has always been the Liquicity community ambition to take everyone on a journey to positive horizons - especially at the moment. Over the course of 12 tracks, Edlan invites listeners to join him in doing exactly this, each track comes with its own story to explore.

Australian producer 'Well Being' returns to the Fokuz imprint with that sort of track we would place in the 'halftime' segment nowdays. 'There's A Place' contains a soothing trumpet, spaced-out strings and delayed piano riffs all blending together perfectly. Souful vibes on this one!
On the flip Technicolour and Komatic deliver a track called 'Ever After'. It seems this duo has the Midas touch, they can simply do no wrong! A moody vocal, deep bassline and tight cuts. The kind of track track that makes you reflect on whats important.

Black Yukon Sucker Punch returns with a bare-knuckled follow-up to his 2020 debut. "Buried" is a bulldozing reese-bass monster with all the mettle and simplicity of its classic neurofunk influences. The flipside harbors a fearsome, high energy remix by Vegas of Bad Company UK / Bad Taste Recordings.

most distinct voices in dance music come together over a bittersweet wobbler written about

alongside an impressive array of electronic artists including Hybrid Minds, Sub Focus, My Nu

Inja is no stranger to tearing things up on the airwaves with support from the likes of DJ

After a weighty 2019, Tyrone returns to Guidance Music for another two barnstormers.

No time to fuck about. From the T-O-P we have bonafide jungle legend and producer extraordinaire, dubzilla himself Digital teaming up with the master of the low-slung dub-flex Morphy, together with deadly rhythm technician 9 Tails, to bring you the chunky bar-brawl beats and earth-splitting bass quake of 'Rhino Gun' on the A side.

Next up we have the B-boy break extravaganza of 'Culture' by Champa B & QRE8R, slicing up the dance with its switch-hitting drum patterns and warping mentasm riddim in an unrelenting fashion for the pill munchers.

Raw Science (Drum Cypha & Skru) close off this monstrous EP with 'Deicide', a reese-led beast that tumbles along with crunchy sledgehammer breaks and robotic stabs, building into a hectic crescendo of synths and relentless bongos.

To sum up this 12" in one word? Weapon.

Jem-One takes a little detour from Metalheadz and returns to with Network. The gritty, twisted tech stepper with that dark metal sounding bass riff.

Section makes his first appearance since the XXV Project. Dark Phrases is a little nod to the style and sound of the late, great Spirit. Steppy, stabby and clinically clean production.

Future brings a nice minimal stepper with Daffy’s Secret Project. A different style to what he’s usually know for. A hard hitting head nodder with a serious sub that will shake up your insides.

Sicknote returns to Skeleton with a collaboration alongside Sweetpea and Dissect, who are no strangers to production. Jahlocia is on a lively bouncy vibe that fills you with energy. A nice step away from the usual dark vibe of the label.

"The latest release on Textasy's Berlin-based imprint further mines the interface between electro and jungle. DJ DR-660's EP is, as the name suggests, dedicated to carnal pleasures, whether it's cleverly flipping a familiar spoken word sample into speedy bass-heavy beats and slow jam smoothness on 'Talk 2 Me (Consent)' or combining Miami bass style lewdness and rolling breaks on 'Fuk Me From The Back (Da Bomb Edit)' The latter is especially good, fluidly alternating between rhythms and hip hop samples in a way that will excite dancefloors. Elsewhere, 'Rhodes Rec' has the kind of smokey keys you could expect in an ambient d&b number, but riding speedy juke/ghettotech drums and another rude vocal. This might be his last Bubblers EP but it’s definitely not the least.
Teaming up with North London-based MC Subten, drum & bass meets grime on ‘Headlines’. The infusion of styles sees two of the UK’s most loved underground genres collide as Subten lays down his impeccable flow over Whiney’s production mastery which brings the sounds of 140 into 174 territory.
‘Freedom Dub’ draws for ambient soundscapes and enchanting vocal samples as it rolls into a deep drum & bass cut fuelled by a signature bubbling bassline and crunch-packed breaks. Smooth amens and gliding mid-ranges keep the track moving as Whiney continues to make his mark on the scene.
Flipping over to side B, dreamlike vocal melodies and luscious chord swells induce a hypnotic state on ‘Mirage’. A nod to Whiney’s old-school jungle influence, raw and rugged breakbeats and addictive 808 throbs pay homage to the
classic sounds of the 90s.
‘Yesterday’ incorporates mesmerising synth arpeggios which float above chugging drums, saturated with elements of techno inspiration. Hissing basslines and skippy percussions transform the track into a no holds barred weighty stepper.
With ‘Bubblers: Part Three’ marking the last edition of his trailblazing EP series, this is only the beginning of Whiney’s new chapter. Renowned for creating futuristic and forward-thinking productions, and an impressive back catalogue including two albums ‘Talisman’ and ‘Waystone’ under his belt, it’s no surprise that Whiney’s music receives consistent support from leading radio tastemakers including Rene LaVice, Laurent Garnier and DJ Target. Proving himself to possess an arsenal of highly sought after unreleased tracks often showcased in his Bubblers Mixtape series, if one thing’s for certain it’s that the only way is up for Whiney.

Daniel Bortz, a staple among electronic music producers, returns with his new album "Stay". After "Patchwork Memories" on Suol from 2013, it's the second album for Berlin-born and Augsburg-rooted Daniel. From his early days of James Blake editing and riding the slow house wave, Daniel has perfected and diversived his production skills over the seven year course between the albums. His range spans euphoric techno, cinematic breakbeats, heart warming electronica and classic deep house, you can witness on his eps for Innervisions, Pastamusik (the infamous Bella Avgvsta trilogy) or even on the legendary DJ Kicks mix series from grandmaster Moodymann, who selected one of Bortz's tracks on his volume. After his three eps (one with his friend and long time collaborator Sascha Sibler and one under his DJ Hotel alias) on Permanent Vacation, Daniel takes the consequential step and releases his second full-length album with the Munich based label. With the 11 tracks on "Stay", Daniel Bortz evokes his teenage years and dreamwalks through his upbringing during the 90's. Musically he brings together what never should have been separated: House, Acid, Downbeat and Breakbeat all rooted in the sample aesthetic of Hip Hop, thereby capturing the full emotional spectrum of life and love. Music that came to stay.

Bringing glitch aesthetic into the new decade, Aaron Spectre (aka Drumcorps) gives us Computorr, a look into digital dystopia through eyes of jungle, punk, noise, & rapid-fire sampling. This energetic EP features Aaron's signature cut-up yet concise beats, and unites several subcultures at their roots.

Artwork for this record was also made by Aaron, using analog video synthesizers & old CRT televisions, for the medium is the message. Vinyl is top quality and hits hard, its clear highs and powerful bass mastered and cut by Keith Tenniswood, and comes in several different color varieties.

Germany's JAHMONI are on release and distribution duties via Rubadub UK, hot on the tails of their diverse multi-genre releases by DJ Marcelle, BELP, and Summer of Delete.

Expect a whirlwind of swirls, swooshes, bleeps and FX alongside raw junglistic beats and the most positive Synth bass motif you've heard in a long while.
