For PRSPCT RVLT 025 we traveled deep down into the darkest parts of jungle in search of: Jungle. It was a harsh, heavy and above all an expensive journey that, to be honest, only taught us something we knew already... Jungle is MASSIVE! Just not a lot of amen breaks in it so not particularly the place to look for a new RVLT record.

Turns out we should have looked way closer to home as some of the hottest Jungle out there gets produced in our own home country "The Netherlands". We could have known this of course. Come on, we release great records by Dutch artists all the time. As the legendary quote goes: "If it ain't Dutch it sure as f*** ain't much!"

So... After the massive jungle trip failure we've searched in our own surroundings and found these 2 talented Dutch artists Coco Bryce and Tommy the Cat so we've asked them for 2 tracks each.

Few weeks later PRSPCT RVLT 025 was a fact and oh boy do these tracks make you want to drop your pants, shake your hips and poor beer all over your self while trying to MC like Skibadee! Great succes b***hes!!

So whats the point of this whole bulls*** story you might be thinking by now? Absolutely nothing! Just like the majority of promo texts out there.

Dimension has revealed the title of his debut album, ‘Organ’, alongside the artwork and full album tracklist. To be released on the 5th of March, 2021, ‘Organ’ features 17 tracks; alongside 11 unreleased new songs, the album includes Dimension’s latest single ‘Remedy’ (feat. TS Graye), plus his recent singles ‘Saviour’ (feat. Sharlene Hector), and ‘Hatred’ (feat E11E), and the UK chart hit collaboration with Sub Focus, ‘Desire’. Elsewhere, ‘Organ’ features Liam Bailey, MC GQ, Arctic Lake, Cameron Hayes, Billy Lockett (Culture Shock, ‘Love To Give’), Poppy Baskcomb, and Clementine Douglas.

‘The Pulse of Iron’ an apt reflection of modern progression into the unknown industrial world. It comes from Narrm based artist, Consulate who has found a home on Pure Space Records for our 10th label release. On this EP, Consulate delivers four tracks of dance music for the dystopian with a slick DnB sheen.

On the A-side ‘Postrach’ the centres the record squarely within the realm of its influences, its intricate percussive patterns offset by industrial ambience. Here a half-time snare cuts through the abyss of ambience, while a floating topline carys you through dreary territories. Completing the A-side is ‘Spec 4’, a subtly staunch percussive track that is fueled by acute vocal sampling, weighty breaks and a hypnotic dub infused bassline.

The flip side heads back into half-time territory with ‘The Fear’. Delayed vocal samples paired with dub-style stabs pulse in a heady but immersive rhythm. Rounding out the record is ‘Warlock’, a percussive track that proves the restraint Consulate has in his craft. Moody, sliced vocals skitter through delayed percussion creating a sense of tension. When it feels as though the storm is just about to hit, you are enveloped by fast-paced jungle breaks drawing you deeper into the eye of the storm.

Pure Space Recordings is the label venture from the beloved radio show hosted by Andy Garvey, and produced by Mija Healey which has broadcast weekly on Eora Nation (Sydney) radio station FBi Radio for over four years. The label focuses on Australian music both for home listening and that made for the club.

Side One is heart-pounding Techno, Hardcore and Electro. Side Two is 90s inspired UK Jungle with an excellent rework from Tim Reaper.

D&B stalwart Kasra returns with new AA single "Guilty" & "Kanjiru" on Critical.

Kicking things off, title track "Guilty" asserts itself with cinematic synths that make way for high-energy breaks and North London artist Catching Cairo's soulful vocals. Next up, "Kanjiru" is a heavier affair that channels classic darkside D&B energy with contemporary precision.

Stockholm native Viggo Dyst joins Shall Not Fade's roster for their new Classic Cuts series, serving up ear candy and sparkling sounds on Everything Else Is Secondary EP. Fresh from a successful release with Swedish label Vivrant, he is also joined by stalwarts of the scene Baltra and 1800-GIRLS for two gorgeous reworks.

The title track is a breathless, hopeful opener that overflows with feel good energy, sunshine melodies and personality. Baltra flips the lead melody into a hazey, UKG style club remix, maintaining the shimmering core - while 1800-GIRLS creates something tenser, a persistent beat and a warped breakdown.

On the B side, "Time After Time" carries strong Aphex Twin influence pairing sombre orchestral instrumentation with a hurtling yet delicate break throughout. "Weekend Special" is a classic Shall Not Fade sound; gentle, swelling house that needs to be danced to, closing out the record on a high.

Before drum‘n’bass there was Jungle. Born on the progressive reggae sound systems of the early 1990s, jungle was the UK’s answer to dancehall and one of Soul II Soul’s enduring legacies - take what’s already there and adapt it to make it unique. Fittingly, next up on the Funki Dred label are two of 1995’s most elusive jungle mixes: the sought after version of 'Missing You', giving vocal outtakes a deserved new life; and Dillinger’s Genius mix of 'Do You Love Enuff'. Both only previously available as limited-edition white labels, each has a strictly junglist foundation – edgy, headrush and dubwise haziness – overlaid with dreamy Funki Dred-style vocals, as Soul II Soul in the jungle gives a distinctive take on an under-appreciated black British style.

Back in 1993, Aston was the one half to the SUBURBAN BASE act 'Rap and Aston' as well as part of 'Engineers Without Fears' and earlier 'The Blapps Posse', he then went on to form the hugely successful group 'The Freestylers'. He produced for artists such as Rebel MC and created some of the Sub Base classics which include Vertigo, More Time, Jeopardy and is now back with a brand new release of old skool inspired bangers to launch a new era of Boogie Times Records.

First up Aston introduces Pirate Jams with the the stunning ‘U Know The Score’, from the very first old skool lead stab and catchy vocal you know that here is a tune from a master of their craft, with all the years of experience and success condensed into one tune to make the definitive early 90's vibe with and updated twist. This has instant classic and future anthem written all over it, fingers crossed we get out and about to hear this at raves across the summer.

Next up is '4EVR' alongside Quicklung, a bolder driving piece of old skool inspired genius, from the early days of rave almost an 89/90s Belgium import vibe to it for those that 'Know The Score' as the A side says!

Rhythm Syndicate Records, Conspire, and Soul Connection, are proud to announce the upcoming release of the "Deep Beats EP". The Second release on the new label will feature four lush Liquid gems that will be a welcome addition to anyone's prized collection. Conspire, a Shrewsbury native, has been a valuable contributor to Soul Deep and Smooth N Groove over the years, and now his productions are being enshrined on an RSR imprint vinyl release. His first track, "Deep Beat," is a smooth rolling tune that boasts snappy drums, lush atmospherics, and slapping percussion, that create the perfect backdrop for the soaring melodies. The song has received heavy play from LTJ Bukem and others in the scene. Conspire"s second offering is a track called, "Late Night," which ditches the smooth rolling sound and attacks the dancefloor with an all out Liquid-Jungle tune, that will heat up the clubs during prime time.

The B-Side of the vinyl release features 2 undeniable cuts from Serbia's Liquid master, Soul Connection. Over the years, soul Connection has released his timeless songs on Soul Deep, Smooth N Groove, and was featured on Big Bud's classic label, Sound Trax Records. "Dub Music," leads off his offerings with its punchy drums, smooth pads, and ticking percussion. The song lives up to its name and pays homage to the Dub music genre, with its washed out reverbs and echoing efx, that softly drift off into the distance, as the lead sounds surge the composition forward. His second offering entitled, "Keep Me High," takes a more Atmospheric approach, but encompasses the critical elements to work in any setting. The ethereal pads lead things off, and when the drop hits the Amen drums are introduced, which help elevate the tune to another level of greatness. The lead sounds fade in and out of the song, creating more interest and allowing the listener to feel the heart and soul of the tune. Overall, Conspire and Soul Connection have crafted 4 masterpieces worthy of vinyl immortality. A trio of tunes from Diahgonal’s brilliant debut LP “Spiral” gets remixed by label mates for this Special 12”. We’ve packed a sonic spectrum into this release: a tech-house shaker from Adriano Mirabile,
autonomic goodness from Driftsystem, ambient soundscape from Louis Haiman, abstract IDM chillage from Maps Of Hyperspace, and tribal techno tones from Robert Roos.

For the second release in our Re-Issue Series we've teamed up with London duo Euphonic for a cherry picked deep dive into their back catalogue exploring some of their finest works, fusing Jungle, Breaks, and Down Tempo with unique programming, bass lines and traditional jazz/blues instrumentation.

The "Low Orbit Archives" 12" features a number of artists whom they have collaborated with since the project's inception back in 1997, including dr. Israel, Soothsayer, Kirsty Rock and Neech. Euphonic is led by producer Rob Henry and former Graffiti artist turned DJ Nick Trimm.

Following Part 1 of the project, the recently released 10" vinyl "Jah Science", the full LP follows, featuring an additional 5 tracks with Part 2 offering a wide spectrum of music for audio lovers and record collectors. Bringing things back to the future, Hugh Hardie’s soulful slammer ‘Tearing Me Apart (feat. Kyan)’ provides ‘Classic Symptoms 15’ with alluring groove and, of course, that infamous double bass melody. Initially released on the ‘Hospital: We Are 18’ compilation back in 2013, it’s safe to say this one is timeless.
Sending it way back to 2006, Q-Project steps up with the title track of his 2006 ‘Computer Love’ electro-infused smasher. Rugged breaks and future-retro synthesis, this one sounds just as good now as it did back then.

After his recent easter eggs EP, this four tracker is a blend of trance, breaks, drum & bass and experimental electronica.

Starting off the A side with the ‘Jelly Bean (Virus Outbreak Mix)’, this monster of tune will rattle your subs (and brain) with his crunchy kicks and trancey sequencing. This track will blast you off into oblivion eventually bringing you right into A2, ‘Level Quest’, a trancey chugging progressive tune building energy from the moment the first kick ignites.

After a much needed break, the B1 puts you in an immediate trancestate lasting just a few minutes and before you know it you will be blasted into drum and bass land with ‘Tasteful Nudes’ closing out the EP.
