Hafiza (INNOCENCE)is OLUGBENGA's debut release. Having built a following DJing at festivals and clubs worldwide, crafting remixes and producing mixtapes, OLUGBENGA's music draws on elements from techno, gospel and the claustrophobic soundscapes of post-rock.

As a producer, OLUGBENGA's work has seen him receive support on BBC 6Music from Lauren Laverne and a selection of BBC Radio 1 presenters including Rob Da Bank and Huw Stephens. The support has continued online, with press articles on Dazed Digital, Mixmag, Drowned In Sound, The Independent and a 'Track Of The Day' with Clash Magazine. There have been remixes for the likes of Alt-J and Esben And The Witch - all of this support arriving before he has officially released a signed piece of solo material.

Otherwise known as Olugbenga Adelekan and as bassist from the Mercury nominated band Metronomy, Hafiza (INNOCENCE) sees this artist creating unique and personal music electronic music with commercial sensibilities. What originally seem like vocal samples are in fact OLUGBENGA's own recordings pitched and edited in ways that span forlorn choruses to percussive melodies. Saw-wave synthesisers and huge bottom ends back up these three tracks, which feel equally at home in both the club and headphones.

After hearing 'Tubular' turn the Samurai Music room at Cable in October 2012 inside out at the hands of Skeptical, Samurai Music's
Presha contacted Dutch producer Fre4knc (pronounced "frequency") the very next day and signed the tune for a 12" release on the
label. To complete the 12" some solid hours of collaboration and mix-down perfecting were put into 'Relic' which sees Fre4knc
working with rising stars Mtwn and seasoned veteran Mindmapper. Solid support on this release from Friction, Doc Scott, Loxy,

A "Stop Me" - Crazy J

Crazy J serves up a deep minimal D&B track heavily loaded with rich, original and interesting ideas. Stepping away from his usual comfort zone, Crazy J proves that he is undoubtedly able to adapt across platforms and transfer his unique and bass heavy style to a more minimalist approach in DnB. One to watch in 2013.

Taking control of the buttons on the flip side is Twisteds' latest signing Cranium Breach. Offering a techy and powerful production style that sets himself aside from other producers; after listening were sure you'll agree that 2013 will also be a big year for this budding producer.

On the A side we have Riget by Limewax. On this monster track Limewax has gone completely back to his old signature sound and for me personally this track one of the sickest tunes I have heard in a long time. Pure next level amen filth! Uniquely produced and 110% Limewax signature sound!!

There is no B side on this release as we chose to have that side of the 7inch engraved with some pretty occult fucked up artwork.

However, with every PRSPCT vinyl release the buyers get a free download code for the digital files so there is a (digital) flip side to this release by PRSPCT's newest signing: Acid Diaper
There is quite some mystery surrounding this 'new' producer. Even us at PRSPCT HQ have no idea who he is and where he is from. He has chosen to keep his identity secret to the world. Kind of like Batman but instead of fighting bad people this vigilante's goal is to terrorize the world with pure Audio Violence. 4/4, Acid, Gabber DnB designed to torture the average mainstream music listener.

4 drum titles to dig. Sounds intersting actually... Sober and dancefloor, with some orignal sounds and structures, all tunes are very different to each others, the vocal uses is never too mutch or too mellow.... A good record.

* Not one, but two releases from the quite amazing Horizons Music. The Brazilian phenomenon Nitri has so much good music around at the moment, and the good people at Horizons have decided to spread the love across their next two releases, Horizons 65 and 66.
* The nucleus of both slabs is Searching, featuring Jinadu. The track has been remixed by some big names, and these reimaginings appear across the two releases. The original is perhaps Nitri's best work yet, with a deep internal structure, and yearning, contemplative melody. Jinadu's soulful vocals match the production perfectly, as Nitri transports you into his own world, one where heartfelt emotions come to the fore, showing the power of his music to the full.

* D-Region is the founder of the Canadian independent label Furious Records and has worked with respected music groups like Universal/EMI, Moonshine, ZYX, Moist and Toronto's Nice and Smooth in his 12 years in the DnB scene. In his career, D-Region has landed four singles on Beatport's coveted Top 10 sales chart (drum n bass) and dozens of tracks on the Beatport Top 100. His single 'The Terminator's Theme' debuted at number 1 on Beatport when it was released in 2005. DJ Code hails from London and has been on a steady accent through the ranks as the latest addition to the Kool FM roster. His past releases on Emotif including 'Brainstorm' & 'Rudeboy Rebellion' with fellow producer Sketch were absolutely massive. It's good to see him back!
* Hustle From Born feat. Shutdown and Trinity Chris' is a synth-led powerhouse. It kicks off with a modulated lead line and dub skanks before a huge saw-wave bass heaves into motion over the pounding beats. Shutdown provides additional beef in the production whilst Trinity Chris delivers the hype with his dancefloor-riling vocal. This is hi-energy peak time material. Trinity Chris is a JUNO nominated (Grammy Awards of Canada) artist who has toured across North America sharing the stage with the likes of Mavado, Buju Banton, Beenie Man, Ghostface Killah, French Montana, D-Block, Shabba Ranks, Sizzla & dozens more.

Futurestep DnBduo Shadow Bloc, hailing from Toronto, step-up for additional production duties. Between them they have classical training and Juno-nominated songwriting skills, which is apparent in their multi-faceted energy. Best Female MC at the 2012 National Drum & Bass Awards, Lady MC has been an integral part of the jungle and drum & bass scene since as far back as 1995.
