Turn Back Time, out 23rd December. The single follows the huge hit Turn It Around, featuring Kele Okereke from Bloc Party and is taken from Torus, which debuted at #11 on the Official Albums Chart. With Turn Back Time, Sub Focus was inspired by people on YouTube talking about how they missed raving at The Hacienda in 1991. It samples old ragga and is mixed with 90's rave, with the lyrics too focused on the nostalgia to that time. On the forthcoming release, Sub Focus has announced remixes of Turn Back Time with Metrik, Special Request and Bro Safari. All will be released, along with the original track, as an exclusive bundle on iTunes on 22nd December.

With one of the most talked about, impressive live shows in electronic music, which uses ground breaking audio reactive and circular LED technology, Sub Focus wowed a sold out crowd at the Roundhouse in Camden as part of his impressive sold out UK headline tour last month. * Mako has his first full outing for the Headz camp via METH XX, the fertile breeding ground for new Metalheadz artists that gives them a chance for to express themselves with the music they are making right now.
* Tell Me Something (Ft Detail)
First aired by Goldie high up in the London skies for the Metalheadz X Red Bull London Eye event and instantly rewound. The track takes a creative drum pattern and edges forward with mutant bass and space age pads very much reminding of bygone Headz tracks, breaks and edits keep the track popping through its course.
* The Gully
Exactly that, gully. It's an exercise in how to get a dancefloor moving, contorted bass, big stepping drums. Great for DJ's and dancers- kept interesting and even changing its step at the very end of the track showing an attention to detail sadly missing in this day and age.
* Ju-Ken (Feat Throwing Snow)
For the final track on the release Mako and Throwing Snow go head to head on a track that takes he the meeting point of broken beat, jungle, dubstep and house- Full of energy, drum breaks, and vibes. Its perfect meeting point of the two producers styles and will no doubt get massive attention from both sides of the spectrum.

Once again Impish and Vasilisa return to Occulti with some new stuff to show, and this time its a 6 track album "Underwater", which brought together the material written in the course of 2008 to 2013.
The mini album is dramatically simple in its concept, but deeply soaked with rainy vibes and loaded with powerful bass lines that have proven themselves worthy over the years on Moscow's underground dance floors. The two dark dance floor shakers Keep Quite and Tunnel have been chosen for the 12inch vinyl. The CD topped off with beautiful photograph by Ilya Kisaradov is released alongside with the vinyl. It contains the oldest and the most stormy of the tracks Don't Let Me Down, the heartfelt Why, Lonely Street and Haze, which has been released on vinyl in the early 2014 at the fellow label Audio Plants and had already make some noise on the dance floors.

A. Stentah
Since proving a fine collaborative duo in their last Horizons Music release, Dabs and MC Kwality return with a doubly as powerful effort. Stentah is ruthless to say the least, Kwality's aggressive, yet controlled delivery is complemented by Dab's huge, kick drum driven groove. Junglistic at its core and massively original.
B. Half Truth
Smooth yet edgy, ethereal yet raw, Half Truth is one of those tunes that combines all the elements. A repeating piano sample delivers a constant harmony whilst the faultless beat cuts a passage through the ambience. A throbbing sub provides a resonant, yet tamed bassline that seamlessly pulses underneath the ample body of sonic elements.

Subtle Audio makes it's return to the vinyl fold with this brand new 3 tracker by Austria's Sub. Living at high altitude in
his native land, it comes as no surprise that these tracks exude an icy sound. 'Tensions' is a beautifully delicate piece of D&B. Sharp snares, hi-hats and drifting atmospheres are underpinned by a sub-zero bass sound. Suddenly the beats thicken and become twisted and glitchy. It's almost as if a frozen lake you were standing on is beginning to crack and give way!'Halleluja' is on the half-speed tip and will not even sound like D&B to most. Choir voices are interrupted by a stepping beat and a shuddering, dirty bassline, offset by a world of icey atmospherics, echoes and feedback. This sound is truly from another planet. "Hydra" is something a little different for Subtle Audio - clocking in at 120bpm but it certainly doesn't sound like house or techno!It's a nicely mellow track with a lurching, jerky beat that is filtered and reversed but always rhythmical. Dark Rhodes keys and then a bright piano line ensure a nice variance of mood in this beautifully balanced piece.

Tempo Records is proud to announce & release three brand new tracks by DJ Trax. He has been releasing records since 1991 on labels such as Moving Shadow, Goodlooking, and many more. As well as solo releases, he has recorded with Paradox under various aliases including Mixrace.

Tempo Records picked three of DJ Trax' latest creations, and since it's hard to describe them here's DJ Trax' own words: "The title track 'Attack Of The 50ft Amen' was inspired by 50s B-Movies, in particular Attack Of The 50ft Woman. Fifty Foot beats meet atmospheric drum and bass. Bring It Back is a nod back to the mid 90's. In particular nights like Speed down at the Mars Bar. It also shows how my love of Funk and Soul influences my music. Finally 89 'Til Infinity is a reference to Souls Of Mischiefs - 93 'Til Infinity. That track really captured an era in hip hop which still continues to influence the scene and will do for many years to come. I wanted to do similar but to capture the Detroit type sounds of 1989."

This release comes as a limited 140 gramms clear vinyl pressing with full artwork sleeve, including a limited hand numbered insert/poster (this artwork inspired DJ Trax to write the title track), also included: a mp3 download voucher. As rapper Rakim would say: 'It's been a long time' .. Mischa van de Bilt aka Mav (and earlier - Maverick) is back in the game. Old-timers will surely remember him from his groundbreaking 'Me Against the Machine' released on Fokuz back in 2005, as well as his atmospheric and futuristic creative output found on Citrus, Red Mist, Camino Blue, Offshore, Warm Communications or KOS.MOS, Soul & Ice (to mention a few), as well as on the now defunct ASC's Covert Operations Recordings. It's hard to believe this is actually his first full-length album.

Starting off with the light-amen-laden progressive and atmospheric 'Skylines', with its airy pads, quick-paced hi-hats and stepping beat, setting you up for the more lively and uplifting jazz-flavored
'Jackie Style' (featuring the sweet duo of P-Gemma and Jackie Valerie on the vocals). Then it's the laidback, liquid and leisurely 'Open Your Mind', followed by the mesmerizing, rolling straight-to-the-point 'The Dolphin and the Bassline' adding a great classic atmospheric touch to the whole.
Mav also shows his versatility by pursuing some more experimental sides of D&B, such as with the crazily-syncopated 'Trigger the Rabbit' and the lush, variously-paced 'For the Little Ones (Sweet Dreams)' (again with the voice of Jackie Valerie). And if you're looking for a heavy punch he offers the razor-sharp broken beats of 'Makati Oasis' and the dirty 'Break Is The Legend', a remarkable tribute to one of the essential elements of drum & bass music - the amen break.

Fleshing out the album further, Mav has recruited some massive names from across the D&B globe on remix duties. From Jazzsticks' honcho Paul SG and his lush remix of 'Open Your Mind' to Hungary's one and only Chris.Su rendering the classic 'Me Against The Machine' into his own razor-sharp and deep neurofunk language. Brazilian maestro Bungle offers a fresh, tranquil, broken-drummed remix of 'Skylines' and French producer Naibu's riveting drums and mysterious backgrounds take centre stage on his rework of 'Between Heaven and the Deep Blue Sea'. The same track has been also treated by Scandinavian bigwig Seba, who delivers a punch in the face with unique subtlety like nobody else. The circle of remixers closes with 'Makati Oasis' revisited by the mighty Future Engineers, lending their expertise to transform the original fierce amen breaks into a smooth, overwhelming bass-machine!

Mav has certainly served up a banquet with an audible focus on the Chef's Special - traditional atmospheric, energetic drum & bass with a twist of contemporariness, all of this served as a finger-licking feast of dishes, each of a different flavor, but all of them equally exciting.
