Ending their most high profile, prolific year with an explosive finale, they deliver another mind-blowingly heavy two-tracker. Jungle Cakes returns with two original tracks from Deekline. 'Alibaba' blends together all the ingredients you've come to know and love from Jungle Cakes. Snare driven junglistic broken beats, rolling subby bassline interchanged with a more wompy bassline on the drops and ragga aspects merge into one delectable recipe of rinse out business.
"On the flip" Deekline adds 'Still Passin', which takes the vocals and some other components of 'I'm Still In Love' by Sean Paul feat. Sasha, adds lyrical flows from the classic 'Passing Me By' by The Pharcyde and applies the proven Jungle Cakes formula. Sounds like an interesting match on paper, but it culminates into a fluid, cohesive roller thats fills your speakers with warmth and sunshine!

killer vintage Dub derived & leftfield half-stepping Drum & Bass related cuts

The name Chroma has echoed through the drum and bass community since their output as a collaborative project.
Individually, they've already been hosted by a number of pronounced record labels, being met by critical acclamation from across the business. But returning to underground tastemaker Program, Chroma's next production will resonate in your minds for a while. Their style has ensured longevity, whilst dipping into the futuristic sounds that makes contemporary drum and bass so forward thinking. And trust us, this one is no different. Rolling out first is '201 Dub' which highlights the trios consistency at putting out heartfelt bass-slabs that can reach an intimidating depth of musicality. Plucky, powerful and precisely laid out, this track leaves a lasting impression for the whole release. Beginning with a skit that lays beneath its structure, you're instantly aware of the ragga-style vocal that fades between carefully constructed beat patterns. Enticing you further into the mix, its driving pace never fluctuates yet continuously holds the wraithlike vibe which Chroma seem to conjure seamlessly. A record that quivers with power and with a bassline that reverberates throughout, 'Sovereign' continues with the same authority. At times you're caught unaware by its drifting humanism and the slight nod to the record's softer elements. This track opens their repertoire like a door, with the insistent kick of drums and skip of sample which weaves between loops of the amen break. Peppered with dynamic riff patterns, commanding your attention, the record is broken up by thoughtful breaks. As a result, they give you time to reflect on the versatility that Chroma is renowned for.

Going beyond the prototype and establishing themselves as a formidable force within the genre, this isn't the last you'll hear from the trio. So once again, it's time to get with the Program!

Fierce and dark hardcore drum 'n bass mayhem from PRSPCT veterans Cooh and Limewax!

* Renegade Hardware are proud to present the debut album from Maztek: ThreePointZero. Over a year in the making this body of work is without question Mazteks finest work to date. Encompassing his trademark uncompromising dance floor style as well as explorative sonic journeys into elaborate textured sound design and hip hop fused productions. This sampler provides an entry point into what to expect from the full album, which will be released in early December.

*The Oxford / Freiburg partnership Cosmology & Enea deliver their debut co-lab and it's a stunning statement of intent. The immaculate drum work ignites the groove but it's the evangelistic piano hook that will really get heads turning and spines shuddering!
(B1) Sight Unseen - Expressions
*The Mysterious Sight Unseen develops further momentum with this dynamic roller. Progressive in nature, muscular in tone, the balance between dreaminess and deadliness is kept in check with precision production on every element.

A real bassline mover full of horn stabs and some old skool touches, 'Corrupt Level', is the work of three mighty production heads in Austria's Paul SG and Swiss producers Flowrian and Pulsaar. Ones to watch out for no doubt.

Kasper - Classic goodlooking vibe with some very top notch production.  A track by just one of these artists would be enough to catch my attention, but all three makes for a sure-fire dance floor hit! 
Malaky - Wicked tune.Smooth rolling breaks plus haunting samples,with a bassline that cuts through just right.Top stuff!!!!
Jrumhand - I really like the futuristic double bass twanging that memorable melody throughout the track. Coupled With some classic breaks and moving piano elements, the track fuses together perfectly.
* (B1) Random Movement - Alone This Way (No Need To Stay)
* Flip over and we're treated to the huge sounds of one of America's most soulful D&B producers, Random Movement. With a discography that's second to none this guy always shows up on point and delivers the goods in spades.

Bryan G - First heard this at a warehouse party I do in South London and was the track that stayed in my head all week. So happy to find it, so much funk and soul up in dis track, its ridiculous horn sections, mad sexy.
Jack Frost - Alone this way is one of my fav records of the year so far .. The layers and build up are in true Good looking style with that extra edge and big bassline
Technicolour - Mike Random Movement always brings the funk, and this is no exception. I've been playing this A LOT.

One of the most infectious slices of drum & bass to hit the speakers in some time, 'Stray Strong' is a dance floor gem. All killer, no filler, this one bounces like a springbok right the way through with some smart cut up vocals riding the wave until the end while the smooth horns give it an added touch of class.
Munich's Rowpieces brings his Germanic funk to proceedings for a track that could only be on goodlooking. A heady mix of jazz keys, sultry vox and a bassline groove to move you. Wait for the vibraphone to rock in and you could be forgiven for thinking Roy Ayers was in the room!

(A1) Phat Playaz - Sandy Dance
Graham Barber, aka Phat Playaz has been around the D&B scene for a while now and has featured on many labels. Here he makes his goodlooking Records debut with a very clever, intricately produced grimy slice of Drum & Bass. This track has a melodic, almost hypnotic feel to it, interspersed with a nagging double bass.
(B1) Funkware - Walk On The Wild
This track has winner written all over it. Racing breaks, great bassline rumbling along with a huge sounding horn. Very catchy & yet another international Artist, this time around hailing from Bulgaria, making his goodlooking debut. One to watch.

The Outside Agency and Deathmachine had never collaborated until this release, and in retrospect they were most likely doing the world a favor. The simple reason for this is that the two monsters they're letting loose upon the world on this release can only be described as extremely dangerous. The Outside Agency's signature hard-hitting kicks and drum & bass percussion combine with Deathmachine's ignature hard-hitting kicks and drum & bass percussion to provide us with weaponry for the next two millennia. This is definitely one of the most hardcore releases on One Seven Five thus far. Guaranteed to work on most dancefloors it finds in its path, as per usual. In all honesty it's all just a big load of noise, but who doesn't love that

* For the second chapter of our 'Fast Music' series we take a journey through the sounds of jungle. From the 19-year Hospital Records and Med School back catalogue we draw from the core, proving just how deep the roots go in drum & bass of past and present.
