After releasing tremendous EPs for labels like Terra Null or Modern Ruin we are happy to announce a four tracker by london based producer Noh Vae on Through These Eyes. Being a broadcast assistant at the infamous Rinse FM station really shaped his own sound which lies somewhere between Hip Hop, Dub and Jungle. It's hard to find someone operating in this niche so talented and unique, so we had to sign Noh Vae for a full EP! The A side already hits you with big and bad rave horns and a hard hitting halfstep beat which Noh Vae combined all in the right - flow'. Spiced up breaks and flickering drum patterns complement the tune in perfect dancefloor style.

After the first release in June 2016 and #002 following in early 2017, the Berlin- based imprint Through These Eyes is ready to announce the next release.
This time it features two heavy jungle tracks by austrian based artist Sun People.

On the name giving A-side of his Through These Eyes release Sun People uses an iconic vocal sample, adds a gut-wrenching '95 style bassline
and tops it all off with some of the finest razor sharp percussions in the genre to deliver one of the most stomping tunes you'll hear this summer.

Nu Gun on the flipside gets a lot more dubby with it's perfect jungle beat edits and moody chord stabs - all that laid out over a well known vocal sample.
It can easily be considered a prime example of Sun People's signature sound which is heavily rooted in Dub, Jungle and Juke/Footwork.

Nous'klaer welcomes Rotterdam based DJ and producer Konduku to the label with his debut called Kiran. Altin and Mavi Saat (Golden and Blue Hour) form the framework of the trip, easing in and out with a 4x4 groove. In between the opening and closing act Kiran is less straightforward - A powerful polyrhythmic hybrid of Eastern Europe sounds mixed with UK resulting in contagious grooves that will surely spark many dancefloors.

"The third vinyl outing from Lossless Music's leftfield off-shoot label features the return of Elementz Of Noize with a stunning 'DJ Shadow meets Drum & Bass' track called "The Grand Escape". It's 10 minutes of emotionally charged breakbeat unlike anything you've heard before.


On the the B side label boss Soul Intent offers up two half-time slices of emotive electronica. 'The Fire' includes the amazing voice of jazz singer Sula Mae while "It's OK To Be Sad Sometimes" demonstrates yet deeper levels from the talented Lossless Music founder."

The Lanterns EP includes a phenakistoscope, a turntable-powered animation illusion. Follow these steps to see the full effect!

First, place the disc on your turntable, next, shine a bright, direct light on the surface of the disc. (The brighter the light, the clearer the image, so try to use as many light sources as possible!)

Finally, watch the disc through your camera phone to view the animation. (If the image appears to be moving too quickly, make sure that your camera is set to shoot at 30FPS rather than slomo. You can also view the effect with the naked eye by watching the phenakistoscope under a strobe light in a dark room! This replaces the need for a camera. "VinylStrobe" is an app on the iOS store which is already coordinated for phenakistoscopes, but any smartphone strobe app that can flash at 30Hz will work.

After the success of Gti008 8ball is back with another jungle excursion, although this time they have gone for the more smoother side of the genre. On the flip side is a complete reworking from the house legend that is MR G. After pumping the parts through his MPC, MR G has put a hard breaky house dub together, which should hit the mark with a lot of people.

Making his long-awaited Dispatch return, Cern brings us the superb 'Spirit House EP'.

Dylan made his Artilect debut for Samurai Music with 'Ashen' on our Decade compilation. He now follows through with Blurring The Line, his first full release with the label. This EP serves as an audio cv for his current sonic repertoire. Cosmic Bridge continues its dedication to new talent with "The Gift", a four-track EP from Oliver Yorke. Since his first release in 2012, Yorke's output has been minimal but that hasn't stopped the music from catching the ears of label boss Om Unit. On The Gift, Yorke pulls from travels and visual experiences to deliver a strikingly detailed blend of classic drum & bass and Autonomic vibes that deftly balances mood and energy.

The title track draws from jungle's storied past - think golden era Metalheadz and Prototype - for a dynamic yet melancholic ride, a sonic image of watching the city wake up in the crisp hues of dawn. Opening with sweeping pads and an ominous vocal sample, the track comes alive with tight drum breaks, repeating snares, resonant, cavernous bass and a simple but captivating progression that brings forth the power of the music. "Silver River" is the soundtrack to Yorke's attempt to capture a clear picture of the Milky Way, the name a translation of the Chinese word for our galaxy. With a clear nod to the Autonomic school of drum & bass, the track balances a half-time pace with percussive elements, gravelly stabs and soaring melodies to evoke both the excitement of the journey and the grandeur of the sky above us.

The B-side opens with "Ryoan-ji", inspired by and named after the Zen temple in Kyoto best known for its contemplative dry garden. "Ryoan-ji" emulates the details and intricacies that lie beyond the garden's seemingly simple surface. The track builds up progressively without any obvious drop structure, carefully adding layers towards a complete sonic picture that asks patience of the listener and rewards them with a gripping ride. The EP closes with "Totem", inspired by another temple visit this time in Myanmar. Using recordings from the trip - including shimmering bells and a voice - Yorke builds another gentle Autonomic roller that captures the serene and peaceful atmosphere he witnessed, a blissful trip that shies from obvious tropes and instead envelopes the listener in its spiritual experience.

With The Gift Yorke truly captures the cinematic potential of drum & bass, transporting the listener to the places and times he experienced with an astute blend of musicality and sound design. For fans of melodic dance music that can be both emotive and still move a dancefloor, The Gift is sure to be well received.

* The Death To Digital series on Kniteforce serves to introduce new talent, and at the same time bring a wide variety of styles on to one EP. Still keeping within the 1991-1996 era, this EP brings together Ant To Be and Shadowplay, a collaboration resulting in a deceptively cheerful piano tune for the summer. Meanwhile, Luna-C & Saiyan do the exact opposite with 'Demogorgon' - possibly the darkest tune Kniteofrce has released since The Trip's 'Snowball' back in 1992. The style flips again to slightly faster and definitely a tad cheesier with Luna-C's 'My Kinda Rush, and the EP is rounded out with a rare 4x4 track in the 1996 hardcore style, 'Fat Hands' by Paul Bradley. So named because...well...no one knows.
