The original sister label to Ram Records from the old Ram HQ studio in Essex, Liftin Spirit Records now celebrates it’s 25th year with a special ‘RELOADED’ limited vinyl series of remastered classics, alongside rare and previously unreleased tracks since the beginning in1992.

DAT's from artists such as Andy C, Ant Miles, Shimon, Joint Venture, Interrogator and Red One have been located in the archives.

Also from the Ram & Liftin HQ came tracks for the Deep Seven label in 1993 and all these rare DAT masters have been located and now re-cut by Simon, the original Ram & Liftin vinyl masterer at ‘The Exchange’.
Initially, Deep Seven remasters will present on a printed white label and unreleased tracks will have a black label.

The fourth release is a big one for Holding Hands as they branch out into brand new territory with their first new signing on the label. Breaka usually runs in very different circles, producing footwork, juke and DnB from his home in Leeds. These are the first tunes of his at a slower tempo to be released but you can certainly hear those in6luences loud and clear in these certified UK 125-130bpm bangers.

Rory's Theme has the tension of an early Metalheadz release but when it drops it makes the hair stand on the back of your neck. The synths fly high with exultation whilst the 808 sub kicks and rolls up and down your body. The track has the truly rare combined qualities of a pure elation mixed with enough stank face to get your gun fingers punching through the heavy air of a pounding club. Basically, it's a certified peak time weapon.

As has become customary for Holding Hands, Puffer Jackets sits bang in the middle of several difference genres and influences. The sound of 2009-2012 UK bass mixed with the grime and 2-step of 2018. This one will turn a club upside down and inside out. You better hope you aren't standing too close to the subs when it kicks in...

For the B2 Holding Hands head honcho Desert Sound Colony steps in for remix duties of Puffer Jackets. Slightly slowed and dubbed out, this one rounds out the EP perfectly with a deeper take on the Breaka sound. Perfect for the beginning of a night or for a hypnotic section of a set late on, this one is built to captivate you and take you drifting away...

Apzolut & MC Goatzak are two brothers with a pretty damn unique background. These viking brothers measure over 2 meters in height each and most women out there wish they had long hair as good as them. Meeting them for the first time we expected them to come from somewhere near the fjords of Norway, but this turned out to be seriously mistaken...

These metal heads grew up in the Caribbean island of Aruba and lived there till somewhere in their 20's before finally making the move to the Netherlands. With no real metal scene on that tropical island
and definitely no breakcore scene it's still a bit of a mystery to us what drove these guys to start producing and playing such extreme music - but we are happy as f*** that they did.

This brand new 5 track EP is one seriously brutal death/black metal breakcore rave mash up. Definitely not suitable for the top 40 radio listening weaklings out there. But if you're a wo(man) that has a hard spot for extreme out of the box music, then this one just might be something for you.

To keep the nostalgic memories alive and as sort of an ode to those dark times years ago - when for a lot of the youth trading and copying cassette tapes was the only way to even be able to find and enjoy underground music - we've decided to make this release physically available only on cassette tape and those are limited to just 75 copies!!

Osiris is connected with life-giving power, righteous kingship, and the rule of Maat the ideal natural order whose maintenance was a fundamental goal in ancient Egyptian culture.

"We've been writing music on and off for the last 5 years and following on from the Space Age mixes we did online we felt it was a good time to do a full release together. Initially we just considered doing an EP but then went on tour in America twice in 2 months in early 2019. During this time we had 5 days off in an apartment in Dallas. So we borrowed a sound card and using Del's tour mic began writing together. We got 6 tracks written and took them back to the UK to be developed into final versions.

It was then that we thought we may have an album on our hands and as we both wanted to really grow as artists, push beyond what we've both done before...so The Blue Hour was born.

You'll hear DRS pushing his voice a lot more, personal lyrical content, experimental arrangements and live instrumentation that all combine inside and out of the D&B sphere to make an album we're immensely proud of and hope people enjoy listening to." - LSB 2019

Calling all foot-soldiers to the floor! Hold your positions as Critical stand firm ready to drop one of its most rowdy releases in quite some time. Looking back to go forward we see Bladerunner and Serum going in hard with a 12' brimming with jungle riddims guaranteed to have the rudest of rudeboys skanking out as Critical shows its undeniable versatility once more. Bladerunner steps up first with the evocative, cinematic intro of 'Back To the Jungle', that manages to set the scene perfectly for what's to come with tom-tom hits, deep forest atmospherics and a certain 'every time I think I'm gonna wake up back in the jungle..' sample. As he says it that's exactly what we do as in crash the breaks, mentasm stabs and the largest of basslines that takes so things old-skool you could almost swear it was 1994 again. Sometimes they really do make them like they used to and we're very pleased that they do, phenomenal.
Teaming up with Serum on the flip sees the pair continuing the theme with 'Who Jah Bless', another excursion right back to the roots. Skipping breaks, bleep fx and sax pave the way to one of the all time classic studio techniques synonymous with jungle/drum & bass - the time-stretched vocal! Sitting perfectly in the mix it signals the drop of smashing drums, massive rise & fall bass and pitch shifting snares that finish this one off with a touch of class. Another very special Critical release indeed.

The allmighty PRSPCT arsenal gets expanded big time with the coming of PRSPCT XTRM. The name says it all extreme... Over the top underground vibes!!!

The first release sees The DJ Producer going head to head with Bong Ra in a collaboration that's just too much. It starts off with "The Abominable" a track that's insane in every way. Heavy hardcore kicks combined with destructive Jungle breaks is something only this duo can combine! Sitting firm on the edge of Hardcore, Breakcore and DnB like only these 2 can. "Bloodclot Techno" is something totally different. This one focuses more on the jungle/break core side of things but combined with almost Terminator-esque vibes. Definitely an epic production if there ever was one!

As bottom end provider for Cinematic Orchestra and Paper Tiger, Hunrosa (AKA Sam Vicary) already has something of a pedigree for a man of such tender years. His music glides effortlessly between Bonobo at his most sonorous, Jon Hopkins at his most ethereal and Flying Lotus at his most freaky. Currently based in Manchester, his music captures the wild organic senses of his Cornish childhood, anchoring it with a darker 2am undercurrent. Following the success of 'Ransom' (a firm favourite of BBC 6 Music's Tom Ravenscroft) Hunrosa returns with his newest offering 'We Know'. An eerie, ethereal track full of haunting atmospheres, Vicary enlists Austrian percussion maestro Manu
Delago, who lends his hang drum expertise to the proceedings weaving it amongst the twisting, intricate beats and Anna McLuckie's delicate vocals. the original is accompanied by a white label 12' containing three reworkings from burgeoning producers Lavan, Etherwood and Danvers. Newcomer Lavan is up first, moulding the organic melodies and earthy percussion into a dubbed out, soulful and bouncy 4/4 number. Hospital Records golden boy Etherwood (whose band Hunrosa is also a member of) brings a late-night liquid DnB atmosphere into play, harnessing the raw emotional power of the lyrics, as reverberating piano chords strike out into the darkness. Having turned the
heads of Bradley Zero and Gilles Peterson with his recent releases, CoOp and WotNot Music's Danvers resets the atmosphere with a zen like extended intro, before launching headfirst into a hypnotic and enthralling looped rhythm section. The groove locked in place, it rises and falls with precision, joined by spaced-out synths throughout the nine-minute duration, allowing the majestic instrumentation to gather pace as the spine chilling vocals drift overhead.

* Seasoned Shogun duo Technimatic are proud to celebrate 10 years working together with the release of their 3rd studio LP 'Through The Hours'. Born of time spent behind the boards, on the decks and travelling the world honing their craft, this is their most profound work to date.
Their first single 'Sometimes', 'Goodbye Kiss' and 'All Our Yesterdays' are loaded with floor filling nostalgia while the tempo changes of 'Recurring Dream' and stand out 'Resolution' are thrilling explorations away from the pair's trademark liquid sound.
Technimatic fans will rejoice at the sight of previous collaborators appearing. Jono McCleery's devastating ability shines on 'The Nightfall', while 'Weightless' ft Lucy Kitchen is vintage, sublime drum and bass. Matt Wilson also joins the project as 'Holding On' finds its feet firmly on the dance floor revealing a fresh side to their production skills. Just looking at the three vocal tracks highlights the passage of time in the Technimatic sound, seamlessly manoeuvring from classic to current.
The grit and swagger of 'True Believer' matched with the hypnotic lull of 'Let It Fall' give the album a conscious edge to satisfy all tastes.'Through The Hours' moves harmoniously through sonic timelines appealing to both new and old school heads simultaneously. Lastly and most importantly, the music is fantastic. The Technimatic sound is as rustic as it is contemporary and after some time away, it's clearly well worth the wait.

Back In 1994, Ant Miles collaborated with DJ Rhythm from the Essex based underground station Cyndicut FM. They came up with the amen smasher ‘Cold Fresh Air’ which remains one of the biggest releases of that year. With the remix being signed to Moving Shadow their Higher Sense monicker had several further releases with MS.
Natural High and Cascade were created the following year but the master DAT was lost and finally unearthed in 2019 for our 3rd, previously unreleased 12".

De:tuned proudly presents the return of one of the UK's pioneering drum & bass producers, Peshay. 'Reflections' is Peshay's first new drum & bass album in more than 10 years that looks back while pressing forward. Jazzy and acoustic flavours combined with deep bass and rolling drums will have you grooving from the get go. It's that classic fusion sound that Peshay does so well, fully updated for present times and 100% future proof.

The accompanying cover and label art was designed by Openmind (aka Strictly Kev, DJ Food, Ninja Tune) and captures the warm and funky vibes perfectly. The tracks have been mastered by Matt Colton at Alchemy Mastering to ensure the highest playback quality.
This album will be available as a triple 12" pressed on 180 gr vinyl. A separate digital release will also be available from the usual digital shops. Paul, it's been an honour and a real pleasure working with you. Stay Tuned!

After the great success of his last EP, 8Ball is back with a 3-track single featuring the already well known Jungle staple "You" plus two brand new cuts.

"Been Higher" is ode to the sometimes overwhelming dread of a post party dip. It features haunting synth lines with a looping vocal and deep under-laying bass. This is taken straight out of the 8Ball hardcore revisited back catalogue.
"Table Spice" is a jam roly poly wrapped in custard being eaten in the garden of De Skool Amsterdam. 8Ball here strips back the drums to leave the bare bones of atmospheric hardcore tune.

Comes housed in a hand-screen printed sleeve and stickered centre label. Designed in house by Grade 10 International.

The Sauce has been formulating (marinating?) in the lab for quite some time now. They have been getting the music ready for your collective ears, brains and feet(s) and the result is a first release that is very special indeed. For those not in the know, The Sauce is DLR, hydro and Spinback of Total Science. Formidable business. The tracks themselves push what each individual artist does to a new level and we're given a new aesthetic because what would be the point of making something they can do on their own anyway right?

The 'Your Moves EP' will be Workforce's third release overall and the first release to appear on a different label other than his native, Must Make Music outlet.

In a short time Workforce has already carved out a strong identity in the music he is releasing. There are values, details and characteristics that set his work apart from anyone else. This singularity is of course underpinned by a strong sense of function, the sense of function is something that connects all of his work.

On Your Moves EP, we are given six tracks that further the Workforce mission, a confident and assured release from Jack Stevens that will no doubt be held in as high regard from peers and listeners alike.

Two of Russias finest drum & bass producers have combined forces for an exciting new project. St Petersburgs Microfunk mastermind Bop, and Moscows minimalistic groove guru Subwave, unite for their debut collaborative release Love & Other Drugs. With their elegant approach to drum & bass, this four-track EP fuses futuristic indie-electronica, 2-step UK garage, glitchy beats and 80s inspired vocal stylings.

Progressive euphoria is the name of the game in Teardrops as Bop x Subwave pick apart the structure of D+B in this warm, delicate and hypnotic glitch number. Following suit is Space Warp - darker with eerie undertones, packaged as a sub-heavy stepper. The second half of Love & Other Drugs sees the duo branch out beyond the realms of traditional D+B. The bittersweet ballad Dont Wake Me Up is kitted out with a definitive 80s style. Seeing the EP home is The Touch with the syncopated beatwork of 2-step UK Garage, complete with skippy breaks and snappy vocal sampling. In the decade since the release of Hospital Records Future Sound Of Russia LP, Bop and Subwave have produced an impressive array of tracks across Hospital Records, Med School, Liquicity, Shogun Audio, Metalheadz and Microfunk, cementing their reputations for going beyond the boundaries of D+B.
