Thomas Siffling was one of the first German trumpet players who used electronic devices for extending his sound on the trumpet. For many years, he belongs to the pioneers of electronic influence in jazz. He is known as one of the most important representatives of the "young" German jazz scene and has made himself a name by numerous guest performances in Germany and foreign countries, i.e. Russia, India, Sri Lanka, Canada and numerous European states. He sees himself as a border crosser between various genres and connects in his music jazz forms with pop music and electronic elements without denying his musical roots at any point. He changes between natural sounds and specific
sound enlargements by the electronics on trumpet and flugelhorn in order to create for the listener a wonderful diverse sound experience. In 2005 he was awarded with the Jazz prize Baden Württemberg. On the 26th of July, 2013, Sine Music will be releasing the new album from Softwaver entitled Movies for Listeners. Softwaver is the producer and musician Alex Houser from Berlin who has been active in the electronic music segment for some time now and has several releases under his belt with labels such as Lemongrass Music or Ambiente Domain. somewhere between Bonobo, Moby, Mike Oldfield and Depeche Mode. Their Headquarters is in their Production Studio called 'Groove' in Terni (Abbruzzo), an important and named Place for Top Italian and International Music Productionas having hosted over the years Artists such as: Mario Biondi, Amy Stewart, Katia Ricciarelli, Ellade Bandini and Awa Lee. The Blue Hammock are an International focal point in the Chill Out / Lounge circuit. Their version of "With Or Without You" (U2) with 'Cellar 55', was the opening Track of the Radio Montecarlo produced
"New Classic" compilation. m=minimal führt die Reihe der Veröffentlichungen von Ernstalbrecht Stiebler mit "Ton in Ton" fort. Der 1934 in Berlin geborene Komponist gehört zu den wenigen Großmeistern die mit wenig Mitteln sehr viel erreichen. Seine Musik ist leise und behutsam, doch nicht zaghaft. Farbig ohne vordergründige Brillanz. Sie ist eindringlich ohne aufzutrumpfen. Sie entfaltet sich organisch, ist von eigensinniger Schönheit. Aus der Differenzierung von Tönen und Klängen erwachsen Kontraste und Spannungen, die der Musik eine in sich ruhende Lebendigkeit verleihen. Mit dem Werk "Extension 1" (1964) ließ er die Fachwelt aufhorchen. Bereits in dieser Komposition beschäftigte er sich stark mit reduktionistischen Kompositionstechniken. Vergleichbare Beispiele sind in der Neuen Musik vor 1965 in Deutschland nicht zu finden. Sein Werk wurde bis vor kurzem nur von wenigen wahrgenommen, dies ändert sich zum Glück nach und nach und m=minimal freut sich zu der Verbreitung seiner Musik beitragen zu dürfen. Die erste Komposition "Ton in Ton" für Kammerorchester, ein Auftragswerk der Hanne-Darboven-Stiftung wurde vom weltweit renommierten "Ensemble Modern" unter der Leitung von Frank Ollu eingespielt. Das Werk, von Ernstalbrecht Stiebler im 2011 komponiert, hat die besten Voraussetzungen als Klassiker in die Geschichte der "minimal music" einzugehen. Das Ensemble Modern, hat während seines mehr als 25 jährigem Bestehens Kompositionen der herausragendsten Komponisten des 20. Jahrhunderts aufgenommen. Künstler von Helmut Lachenmann bis Frank Zappa schrieben Werke für - oder ließen ihre Werke von diesem Kammerensemble einspielen. Künstler wie Sakamoto und Alva Noto gehören zu den Bewunderern vom Ensemble Modern. Die Orgelkomposition "Torsi" aus dem Jahre 2002 wurde vom Stiebler-Kenner Hans-Peter Schulz auf der Heintz-Orgel der Stephanskirche in Konstanz eingespielt. Das dreiteilige Werk besteht aus den Sätzen: Torso, Organa Minima und Cantus und hat nichts gemein, mit den vielen geschwätzigen zeitgenössischen Orgelwerken der letzten hundert Jahre, wo die Komposition oft zur Leistungsschau für die Orgel wurde. Stieblers Komposition dagegen ist schwebend und kommt auf einer Orgel wunderbar zur Geltung. Als Bonusstück auf der CD und Download-Coupon der LP erscheint das Frühwerk "Betonungen", das Ernstalbrecht Stiebler 1968 für die Orgel schrieb. Eine Gegenüberstellung beider Orgelwerke lässt die Entwicklungen Stieblers wunderbar hörbar machen. Das erste von m=minimal veröffentlichte Album mit Werken Stieblers bekam hervorragende Besprechungen auch außerhalb des Neuen-Musik-Zirkels. "ctm 13" widmete einen ganzen Abend den Kompositionen von Ernstalbrecht Stiebler. Das Konzert war ausverkauft und Intro schrieb: "Zu den spannendsten Programmpunkten gehören wieder einmal die Veranstaltungen, die die aktuelle elektronische Musik in einen historischen Kontext einzuordnen versuchen. Das Berliner Label m=minimal etwa präsentiert am Donnerstag Werke des Komponisten Ernstalbrecht Stiebler, einem der ersten Vertreter des musikalischen Minimalismus im Deutschland der Sechziger Jahre. Seine an diesem Abend von der Cellistin Agnieszka Dziubak, dem Bassisten Werner Dafeldecker, dem Ensemble L'Art pour L'Art und ihm selbst aufgeführten Werke für Solo-Instrumente und Elektronik können es in Sachen Radikalität und Innovation trotz ihres Alters locker mit modernen Laptop-Produktionen aufnehmen."

Scott Mou, known as one half of the duo Jane - the folk techno drone duo he had with Panda Bear - aswell as part of Manhattan's famous record store Other Music, debuts with his Soloproject Queens. 

Johan Jacobsen describes the wonderful music of Queens "in oxymorons; "colorful monochrome," "myopic depth," "sad joy," "driven slowness," "enlightened darkness," "universal intimacy ' , "ethereal earthboundness" ... As it should be. Queens is one of those wonderful artists who are hard to catch on the fly, who escapes easy definition. When Dial Records' David Lieske and Peter Kersten listened to a performance of their New York based friend in 2009, it was one of those unforgettable unique experiences you only have once in a long while these days. BettingOn The Mouse' is the first international album by the Copenhagen and Berlin based band BettingOn The Mouse. A band which is more tha anything the brainchild of singer and songwriter Martha Marie Skou.With a background in various fields of the Copenhagen creative scene Martha Marie Skou is somehow the anchorwoman of the band with members Xian Foo , brother of Sharin Foo /Raveonettes (drums), Kristian Haarløv (guitar) and Jonathan Aardestrup (bass). Betting On The Mouse joined together in 2009 and have since played several concerts around Denmark. In 2011 their first EP 'BOTM' was released and applauded wildly by public decision makers all over. A-Sun Amissa is a project formed out of Leeds, UK in 2011 by members of Glissando and The Rustle of the Stars.. Built on the foundations of the unknown, a project that encompasses minimalist drones, modern-classical movements and avant-garde tendencies. Richard Knox (Glissando, The Rustle of the Stars, Of Thread & Mist) & Angela Chan (Glissando, The Rustle of the Stars, Ten, Tomorrow We Sail) began forming the initial ideas in the Autumn of 2011, moving away from the piano-led ambience of previous outputs.
