We’re happy to announce the “Planetary Shift” EP by our friend O-Wells with an additional remix by Bangkok’s finest Sarayu from More Rice. An EP that combines friendship and a long overdue Ozelot-cosmos release. After we heard “Planetary Shift” a while ago for the first time, we kept insisting on releasing it- Now we’re happily presenting it to you in the form of a 4 track EP.

The record orbits around O-Wells’ signature style: dub-inflected drums, slithering synth lines, and percussive patterns that never sit still. There’s a sleek futurism to these tracks, but they feel worn-in, like spacecraft that have already charted the edges of known space. Across the EP, O-Wells embraces tension and release—rolling low-end pressure that swells, only to dissolve into weightless melodic fragments.

The result is music that feels in constant flux, forever shifting through sonic terrain without losing its pulse. Anchoring the EP is a remix from Sarayu, a key voice from Southeast Asia’s flourishing electronic music scene. His version turns the track inside out—primal percussion and humid atmospheres pushing the original’s spacious minimalism toward a more grounded, earthy palette. Love Quantum is the seventh studio album by Grammy Award nominee Theo Croker since his 2007 debut. The album finds Croker making his first-ever foray into the concept of love, once again inviting listeners on a genre-defying journey across time and space in discovery of the self and our shared human experience. Of the album, Croker says, “It's a love story. It's a tribute to all the different levels of love that can exist - love of a friend, love of a partner, love of a parent, love of yourself and a love of life. It's really about the journey of love, the experience of it, and how powerful that energy is for us as human beings.”

Joining Croker across the album's 11 tracks are Jill Scott, Jamila Woods, Wyclef Jean, Ego Ella May, Teedra Moses, Chris Dave, Gary Bartz, James Tillman and Kassa Overall.

Love Quantum is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on solid gold coloured vinyl. The album is housed in a gatefold sleeve and includes an insert with liner notes.

Everybody loves a disco gram or two, wink wink, but Spanish label DiscoGram is also a sign of a good time. The main label has put out more than 30 juicy tunes but here they launch a new sub-series, again with the in-house production team at the helm. 'Linda' kicks it off with bright, extroverted and slightly camp disco energy and diva vocals. 'Pages' is a slinky strider with a pained vocal bringing the soulful heat and offering a hugely impressive falsetto crescendo. 'Tabaco Y Ron' gets more florid with its Latin flutes and rhythmic vocal coos, then 'Xulipa' ends with swooning strings and a graceful air of disco cool with some recognisable vocal hooks.

Puglia-born Bress Underground brings his reverence for early US house and garage to a new outing for Spanish label Mate. 'This House' opens with chopped up vocal stabs, acrobatic drums and percussive rhythms. 'Connected' is smooth and seductive with dusty swing and muted chord work. 'Ready Or Not' brings some electronic futurism with sleek, liquid metal lines over deep, dynamic drums and 'Take Me Higher' is a big finish with Kerri Chandler kicks and chords, all finished with a true school house vocal. It's timeless, effective tackle for cultured floors.

Soft Rock to Riches announces our first original songwriting winner: Jonathan Kirby from Winston-Salem, North Carolina! “This Is Your Song” is an evocative beat ballad dedicated to seemingly endless Southern summers, late night drives, and romantic realism. In the early morning hours of August 9th, 2018, Kirby layered the drum patterns, chords, and hushed harmonies through a Tascam four track while his dad slept in the next room. Written and recorded in just three hours, “This Is Your Song” fits comfortably alongside privately pressed electronic soul ballads from home recording’s heyday.

The Devin Dare Dusk Mix introduces Vivienne on Side B, adding a graceful harmony that champions Kirby’s pining refrain. The Dusk Mix flips Kirby’s ballad over a head nodding breakbeat with a hypnotic synthesizer line and light, airy brushes of strings and delay.

Jonathan Kirby is a musician and archivist known for his ambient jazz LPs Safe to Disconnect and Safe To Disconnect II, his writings for Wax Poetics, compilations for the Numero Group and his exhaustive archival research on the music of his native North Carolina.

Their first full length LP, Khana Bierbood are a fresh Thai band with their hearts in a lot of musical places. . Produced by Go Kurosawa (Kikagaku Moyo) in Tsubame studio in Tokyo.Starting track Rustic Song, from the jet sound at beginning, you will realize that you arrived in Thailand. Followed by Track 2 Starshine, you can find surf vibe but it’s different than the West coast surf music. The topnotch is the B1 track Badtrip where you can hear lo-fi garage with heavy doomy fuzz jam part. For fans of Oh Sees, La Luz, or Thai’s morlam music. Khana Bierbood (translated as Strange Brew in Thai), formed in 2012, in Bangsaen Beach in Thailand. After hours of jamming together they started create their unique sound influenced by 60’s surf music, 70’s garage rock with Thai traditional music. It has been said of Hiroshi Suzuki, one of Japan's leading trombonists, "If you want to sound good, you need to have him as a member of your group”. Suzuki moved to the U.S. in 1971 when he was invited to play with the Buddy Rich Orchestra, and had been living in Las Vegas ever since. The album Cat was recorded when he returned to Japan for the first time in about four years, and released on Nippon Columbia in 1976. The musicians are the same as in Freedom Unity, the group Suzuki had been a member of until his 1971 departure – consisting of pianist Hiromasa Suzuki, drummer Akira Ishikawa, bassist Kunimitsu Inaba, and saxophonist Takeru Muraoka.

Cat is a kind of second chance for that group, which once had a promising future but came to a premature demise. Based on the synergy that they had cultivated together in the past, the players brought their individual technical and musical growth to the album and collectively refined their efforts even further. Each of them had been active on the front lines of the jazz scene, and the quality of their compositions, arrangements, and performances here are extremely high. Cat is one of the most revered albums in the extraordinary Japanese Jazz discography and an essential piece of any music collection.

The Album Leaf shares his new ambient LP, Rotations. The record is a mediative experiment into atmospheric sound. Creator Jimmy LaValle explains, “This collection of music is a true reflection of my creative process—rooted in sound exploration, experimentation, and spontaneous response. Each track captures a moment of creative discovery, free from the pressure of achieving a polished result. Throughout my career, I’ve often placed significant weight on what an album should be. With this release, I’ve let go of those expectations to share a body of work that feels genuine and authentic.

The Album Leaf began as the solo project of Jimmy LaValle, who came up in the San Diego music scene playing in hardcore bands and the instrumental rock band Tristeza. He had inked a deal to release his next solo album through the indie label Tigerstyle Records, so he put the modest advance towards a self-recording starter setup, building out the sound with occasional studio access. The music that emerged — vivid, rhythmic, soaring instrumentals guided by lines of Guitar and Rhodes — not only set the path for The Album Leaf over the next two decades of acclaimed releases (for Sub Pop, City Slang, and others), it became a touchstone for the next generation's wave of melodic and meditative electro-organic music.

Der Wald im Pazifischen Nordwesten ist das Leitbild. ,Eternity's Pillars" ist nach der Fernsehsendung aus der Mitte der 1980er Jahre benannt, die von der Jazz-Visionärin und spirituellen Guruin Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda kreiert und moderiert wurde und sich auf ihren unerschütterlichen Glauben an die Fähigkeit der Musik konzentriert, spirituelle Transzendenz zu erreichen. ,Raise the Chalice" ist nach einem Schlachtruf benannt, den die Hardcore Legende des Nordwestens, Ron Guardipee, Mitte der 1990er Jahre oft ausstieß. ,Reverential" zollt denen, die vor uns mit den schwersten Lasten kamen, Respekt und lobt sie lautstark, wobei Musik und Kunst als Materialien für einen Antiphon dienen. Das Cover zeigt das Duo in den Wäldern nordöstlich von Seattle, aufgenommen durch die Linse von Charles Peterson, der für seine ikonischen Fotos der Musikszene von Seattle und klassische Albumcover von Soundgarden, Mudhoney und anderen bekannt ist.

In ihrer kurzen gemeinsamen Zeit schufen Albert Ayler und Don Cherry ein Musikwerk, das wirklich im Moment existiert. Ohne Rücksicht auf Regeln und ästhetische Grenzen spielten sie, was sie fühlten, und nahmen Fehler und falsche Wendungen als Teil der Erfahrung des künstlerischen Schaffens im Moment an. Auch nach über sechzig Jahren klingen diese Aufnahmen noch genauso kraftvoll und lebendig wie damals, als sie entstanden sind. Dieses 4xLP-Boxset enthält vier Aufnahmen aus dem Herbst 1964, darunter Live-Auftritte im Jazzhus Montmartre in Kopenhagen und eine VARA-Radio-Session in den Niederlanden. Der Ton wurde remastered und zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl zusammengestellt. Albert Aylers bedeutendes Free-Jazz-Quartett bestand aus Don Cherry an der Kornette, Gary Peacock am Kontrabass und Sunny Murray am Schlagzeug. Flipside brings synth line driven stepper SONIC ATTACK OF THE CIRCADAS. that one and the following two versions of DUBMENSIONAL SACNTUARY are both supported by the old Hohner Rhythm 80 percussion machine. “Golden Flower – Live In Sweden” is the first official release of two concerts from Swedish television and radio archives of legendary saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Yusef Lateef recorded live in Sweden on September 13, 1967 with pianist Lars Sjösten, bassist Palle Danielson and drummer Albert "Tootie" Heath, and on August 1, 1972 at the Åhus Jazz Festival with pianist Kenny Barron, bassist Bob Cunningham and Albert "Tootie" Heath once again on drums. This is the second official release from Elemental Music in cooperation with the Yusef Lateef Estate, following 2024's Atlantis Lullaby: The Concert from Avignon. In Sweden was transferred from the original tapes and restored and mastered by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab. The limited-edition 180-gram 2-LP edition includes an extensive insert with rare photographs, newly-commissioned liner notes and interviews and testimonials from Kenny Barron and other musicians who were inspired by and knew and played with Lateef.

ensemble 0 (pronounced zero) is a band /contemporary music ensemble, whose line-up and instruments can change according to the repertoire performed. Directed by Stéphane Garin and Sylvain Chauveau, performing pieces by, mostly, contemporary composers including its own members, and working with numerous collaborators.

The year 0 of ensemble 0 was 2004, when four friends decided to assemble a vessel, essentially dedicated to acoustic music for the present time. A light and adaptable vessel, of varying geometry and geography (its members are based in different cities and countries, including France, Catalonia and Belgium.)

Zero, in cartography, is the reference level from which altitudes are erected. In other words, where the field of possibilities stands. Depending on the chosen direction, the disentangled or deciphered compositions, the musicians and instruments brought in, ensemble 0 performs upon a unique range of reliefs. First, its own compositions are specifically performed by the pulsating heart of the collective, i.e. a trio made of Sylvain Chauveau (acoustic guitar, glockenspiel), Stéphane Garin (metallic percussions) and Joël Mérah (acoustic guitar). Then, with a contemporary repertoire the ensemble expands according to the needs of each work. ensemble 0 occasionally performs pieces by Moondog, Julius Eastman or Ligeti but is particularly keen on living composers such as Tristan Perich, Michael Pisaro or Rachel Grimes.

Here, ensemble 0 plays in according to the movie: L’Incroyable Femme Des Neiges (directed by Sébastien Betbeder with Blanche Gardin and Philippe Katerine) a soundtrack with their own strong and beautiful imprint.

Schon immer schwirrte im Kopf von Husky (Drums / Asphyx, Rotten Casket, ex Sodom, ex Desaster, ex Metalucifer, ex Metal Inquisitor) die Idee herum, eine Band zu gründen, die sich dem puren Thrash Metal widmet und dabei auch einen kanadischen „Razor“-Touch aufweist, ohne jedoch die musikalischen Wurzeln aller Musiker zu verlieren. Auf einem der unzähligen Treffen mit seinem alten Kumpel Patrick (Bass / ex Crematory, ex Apophis) kam es vor zwei Jahren dann auf dem Party.San Open Air zum finalen „lass uns doch mal jetzt was zusammen machen“. Patrick rekrutierte zusätzlich Holg (Gitarre / u.a. Abandoned, Roxxcalibur) und Husky verpflichtete Benni (Vocals / u.a. Knife, The Earwix), um das Line-Up passend zu komplettieren.

Im Juni 2025 traf man sich im niederländischen Enschede, um bei Tom Meier Recordings (u.a. Asphyx, Soulburn, Cryptosis, Graceless, Rotten Casket) ein erstes Demo aufzunehmen. Die Band hat im Anschluss bei niemand Geringerem als High Roller Records einen Deal erhalten, um das Demo als MCD/MLP zu veröffentlichen und auch das folgende Debütalbum wird dort erscheinen.
Und dies ist erst der Anfang…Seid bereit für „Razorsharp Thrash Metal“!
