Synth enchantress Poly Chain returns to Dom Trojga for a smashing full EP release! Hailing from Kiev, she first made a name for herself during the years she spent in Warsaw, releasing her debut LP and becoming a fixture on Poland's underground scene. After returning to Ukraine, she spread her wings further, with exciting releases and regular international appearances only briefly thwarted by the pan-demic. Her long-anticipated EP for Dom Trojga is a treat in her signature style - filled to the brim with incessant, psychedelic arpeggios racing over raw and direct beats. The opener "Kie?" is an unfor-giving electro tune with a huge snare (we like) and tight, unsettling synthwork. "Visa" offers some much-needed hypnotic comfort, and on the flipside, "Acid Regular" hits the floor again with a serious groove, while "Visa Reprise" closes off in a deep, echo-laden fashion. The cover is a drawing by the inimitable Bartosz Zaskórski - an illustrator, sculptor and sound artist, whose uncanny, twisted bio-mechanical visions have been haunting us for years. The Unsound Festival resi-dent and We Are Radar crew co-founder is undoubtedly one of Poland's most beloved DJs, with deep crates and a singular musical vision spanning electro, techno, industrial, EBM, Italo, and wave music. She had been active on the underground circuit, both locally and internationally, for over a decade before she moved to distill her style into her own recordings. After well-received releases on K-Hole Trax and Pinkman Records comes New Life EP, dedicated to her newborn daughter. As un-compromising as ever, and refusing to adhere to the norms of more conventional dance music, the material is teeming with - well - life, and displays a subtle, non-linear playfulness often lost on techno and EBM music these days. Whether it is the constantly building title track, raging "Laser", housed-up "Hidden Gem" or the mutant-disco of "Magic Walk", the record's squelching 303s, wild drum pro-gramming and unhinged synths take you where you need to be! The multi-talented singer, songwriter, producer, and cellist, Dom La Nena’s new
album, Tempo, is about time. With the new album the Brazilian-born, Parisbased artist created a series of small, crystalline moments - sometimes sunny,

Slowly but surely, the Dom Trojga saga continues, and there could hardly be a more fitting way to start off its next chapter than with jamaszka FT's untitled extended play offering. Conceived and executed entirely during lockdown rule, the record is a pointed expression of the angst and confusion that we all fell prey to - aimed at a dancefloor that was not to be, yet delivered with a gripping honesty that in itself offers consolation. Difficult to pinpoint stylistically, the music shifts from dense to sparse, with hazy un-rave anthems, hints of fourth-world minimalism and hazy, dreamscape echoes - all in keeping with the protean genius of jamaszka FT himself, who remains one of the most spontaneous, and idiosyncratic, if somewhat cryptic, artists that populate our scene. In keeping with this very aura, we had Miko?aj Moskal take care of the cover art - a distinctive stylist if there ever was one, his work constitutes a language of its own, traceable across his incredible output. DRP (Dom & Roland Productions) was started in 2006 for Dom to collaborate with like-minded artists. Now 15 years in with an enviable roster from “Noisia” to “Amon Tobin” it is now the main home of Dom’s work.

Mando is one of Doms closest friends. He has been writing music for over 25 years. A gardener by day, he shuns the limelight and has always maintained writing music is his secret hobby! He had a studio in the room next to No-U-Turn in the 90s which was eventually taken over by Optical and Edrush.
Until fairly recently he never released anything! He has an amazing ability to create sick grooves, his style is raw and refreshing and not over produced like a lot of modern music. If i had to pigeonhole his style I would say 90s neurofunk.

Both these tracks play to his strengths. This is his first release on vinyl, so will become collectable!

Dom (and his Roland s760 sampler) was once described by seminal magazine NME as the “Ridley Scott” of drum and bass. His epic early records helped form the blueprint of the scene today.

Originally releasing on No-U-Turn in 1994 and credited as one of architects of “Tech-step”. Dom was signed by the legendary Moving Shadow label in 1996 where he released 3 solo albums and a plethora of singles becoming their most prolific and influential artist in the history of the label.

Well known for his early alliances with school friends “Optical” and “Matrix”, Dom started his own label DRP (Dom & Roland Productions) in 2006 to collaborate with like-minded artists. Now 15 years in with an enviable roster from “Noisia” to “Amon Tobin” it is now the main home of Dom’s work.

Lost in the Moment is Doms 7th Album. In his own words “I wanted to make an album that gets back to the core of the elements I love about drum and bass. The timelessness of simple tracks! A sense of being lost in the subtlety of evolving soundscapes, rhythms and loops which hint at more complex detail and emotions. These are the things I find harder to find in this era of instant gratification and easily consumable music.”

Dom’s previous album Last refuge of a Scoundrel was signed to Metalheadz in 2016. It sold out on its first day. Mixmag gave it 10/10 and named it album of the year. It was runner up in DJ Magazines “Best of British” category across all genres.

Dom Trojga bounces into 2020 with an EP beautifully crafted by one of Warsaw's finest young talents - 2shy. Best known for his work as one half of the burgeoning duo Private Press (of Indigo Area & REKIDS fame), Night Conclusion is his long-awaited solo debut. Citing late 90s US house luminaries and Polish underground hiphop as some of his main influences (WSP's deep classic Faktem Jest was an actual reference during mixing), 2shy combines deep sensibility, great skill and genuine vehemence across the four tracks, telling a story that blends right into the greater narrative of house music, while adding to it its very own emotional touch. To use other words, Night Conclusion is a tender slammer, and does it good for DJs, dancers, lovers and night-time dreamers alike. The label art is an acrylic painting by Micha? Ratajczak, whose work we admire greatly. We've only just begun - look out for more Dom Trojga!

After launching with Jaxe’s acid bomb Seekings earlier this
year, Dom Trojga is back with a bang (and five smiles). Uniting
artists from Ukraine and Poland, and ditching genre
considerations in favour of a shared wavelength, Domownicy
Różnoracy Cz.1 is all about further revelation of the imprint’s
purpose. First up is synth enchantress Poly Chain with the
storming ostinato of Moonhaze (first track ever signed to the
label, but not her last, by any means), followed by the beaming
legend SLG and his soother-shaker Hello Utopia. On the B-side
Jaxe strikes back, teaming up with the uncanny Bejenec
(CHECK OUT HIS LIVE SHOW, FOR REAL), for a hefty slab of
tekno-funk that is Seamless. Finally, label founder Eltron
rounds things up with his own quirky Rym Cymcym. The
beautiful label art has been drawn by the inimitable Martyna
Bolanowska. Playing this record is good for you, so don’t
hesitate.

Big Sound! In a large warehouse in Kingston Jamaica, a kid turns up with his laptop and a keyboard full of playable samples. The kid's twisted some funk era breakbeats into gigantic proportions and is trying out song structure ideas whilst listening back on the the huge sub bass system. There are a lot of people sitting around, everyone stops to listen, they never heard anything like this. It's raw, and powerful, and they like it!

Time for something a little different from Cosmic Pint Glass' secret weapon Dom IV. Nothing Happens is a strangley poignant DIY/pop song, with two versions of the title track. Its the first in a series of 7 from CPG. Ltd to 200 with painted sleeves by Liam Buckley.

A big hitter at the Metalheadz sessions in the 90's this was smashed by Doc Scott and Randall in many of their sets. This turning point in Dom's history is now finally mastered and seeing it's release on vinyl 20 years later.

'Ela Mandou Esperar' is a stomping, soulful Brazilian funk taken from Cassiano's sought after 'Imagem E Som' LP from 1971. A big hint of Northern Soul to this one to!

'Uma Vida' - big drums, piano and lush backing vocals as you would expect from Dom Salvador - a dramatic start that flips into joyous call-and-response funk/ soul. Taken from the awesome 1971 'Som, Sangue E Raça' LP.

We have released several of Brazilian jazz legend Dom Salvador's records on Mr Bongo. He worked with artists including as Elis Regina, Jorge Ben and Edu Lobo and led Salvador Trio, as well as releasing under his own name. Dom lives in New York and plays a Hotel piano bar daily.'Barumba' is an uptempo funk-jazz monster with heavy drums and piano right from the off. Soaring horns add to the drama.Originally released on his self titled LP on CBS Brazil in 1974.

'Morre o burro, Fica o Homem' is the third Osmar Milito track to feature in our Brazil 45's series. A classic samba-rock track; funk drums fills and punchy horns underpin the MPB vocals, building in tempo slightly over the track. The song was originally written by Jorge Ben.Taken from his expensive and hard to find 'Nem Paletó, Nem Gravata' LP released on ATCO Brazil in 1973.r

Known for his strong live performances, swedish producer Celldˆd creates music for the body as well as the soul : his influences range from punk, industrial and dub music over to acid house, techno and EBM. That new five track banger EP is dealing with subjects such as sadism, masochism, unhealthy relationships, and the fact that the good never prevails. But if the world is going to hell, we can at least dance on the way down. Let us move, together. In darkness.

Mid last century. Commercial Music is a machine that generates dances that run each other over in the urge to reach the audiences and mark their place in time and history.

A never-ending list of choreographies co-habit: hully gully, madison, rock, limbo, twist and a long etcetera, until a new dance, bossa nova takes over the dance floors. Joao Gilberto, Tom Jobim or Vinicius de Moraes reach stardom in Brazil with this mix of samba and jazz, but the genre doesn't explode internationally until a few American jazzmen decide to import it. From there it reaches Europe, via France, thanks to Sacha Distel, the first on the continent to record an EP completely dedicated to this phenomenon.

It is 1962.

Shortly after in Spain, the number of artists including original or adapted tracks in their albums, escalate: Tony Vilaplana, Mina, Duo Dinámico, Latin Combo, Los 4 Brujos, Gina Baró, Grau Carol, Salomé or Marisol, who popularizes the new trend by recording 'Marisol rumbo a Río', a blockbuster film partially filmed in Brazil. The maestro Augusto Algueró writes the films soundtrack.

For this compilation we have consciously dug into the archives of three Barcelona based labels like Belter, Discophon and Olympo to serve Spanish sung bossa nova songs that have never, inexplicably, been released on vinyl, all songs are recorded during those two (musically speaking) prodigious decades: the twentieth centuries sixties and seventies.

Like a message in a bottle, carried round by the ocean streams for decades, Henrik Rylander's album 'Fran En Obestamd Plats I Rummet' has floated around in the space of Swedish underground music. Hoga Nord pulls the cork and unfolds the message that is a piece of music that was ahead of its time, sounding 'now' 20 years after its first release in the late nineties. This album is a well-kept secret even for the most initiated music lovers in Sweden! The music, influenced by Flying Saucer Attack and other reverb/distortion drenched acts from the early nineties, Harmonia and some of Kraftwerks earlier works and minimalism, still sounds fresh!

Rylander, a member of legendary acts such as Union Carbide Productions and The Skull Defekts, has been pushing the envelope for electronic music, varying between ambient and noise. Rylander's solo works could be described as sophisticated music and 'Fran En Obestamd Plats I Rummet' combines the sophisticated sides with his band oriented works that holds another kind of tension.

This record is the first release on the sub label 'Hoga Nord Arkiv' on which releases from the past, that hasn't got as much attention they deserve gets re-released in an appropriate context.

Was als musikalisches Interesse begann, entwickelte sich zu einer tiefen familiären Bindung. ,Rundinas" (,Schwalben" auf Sardisch), von Vieri mit tragbaren Geräten aufgenommen, dokumentiert diese Beziehung sowie die Klänge der Insel und den Rhythmus von Maria Teresas Alltag. Mothers of All is Mark Gomes' second album as Blue Chemise for Students of Decay, following 2018’s acclaimed Daughters of Time. Though built from very different materials, it shares its predecessor's economy, sense of proportion, and fascination with the ways domestic life can open onto larger and less easily defined realms. Where Daughters of Time evoked tender, if alien, nursery songs, Mothers of All takes the form of spectral salon music heard at a temporal and geographic remove.

These pieces feel fundamentally receptive, with Gomes allowing his chosen fragments to retain their own histories - both personal and aesthetic - while revealing unexpected tonal relationships through their idiosyncratic arrangement. The resulting music is at once deeply personal and strangely unmoored, a space where the intimate and the distant occupy the same plane.

What lingers about this project as a whole is the paradox that the most private experiences can also be the least singular: that family, memory, and devotion become most legible at the point where they cease belonging to any one life.

Better Living Through Chemistry wasn’t just Fatboy Slim’s breakthrough - it helped redefine what electronic music could be in the mainstream. Released in 1996, the album arrived at a pivotal moment in UK club culture, fusing big beat, acid house energy and sample-heavy experimentation into something irreverent, accessible and unmistakably British. Tracks like “Everybody Needs a 303,” “Going Out of My Head,” and “The Weekend Starts Here” captured the anarchic spirit of the era while laying the foundation for a sound that would dominate late-’90s pop culture.

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Norman Cook’s career as Fatboy Slim, BMG will reissue his debut album ‘Better Living Through Chemistry’, also turning 30 in September.

The 2LP will be remastered at half speed, following previous Fatboy Slim classic album remastered reissues and feature new liner notes from journalist Alexis Petridis.

The 2CD will include a bonus disc, b-sides with a brand-new remix with inclusion of the Alexis Petridis liner notes.

Auf seinem 1961 erschienenen dritten Album für Blue Note Records, präsentierte sich Freddie Hubbard
nicht nur als äußerst dynamischer Trompeter, sondern zeigte auch erstmals wirklich sein kompositorisches
Können. Während das Repertoire seiner beiden vorausgegangenen Alben “Open Sesame” und “Goin’ Up”
noch überwiegend aus Standards und Stücken seiner Jazz-Messengers-Kollegen bestanden hatte, zeichnete
der Trompeter diesmal für vier der sechs Titel des Albums selbst verantwortlich. Zu hören ist er hier mit
einem Sextett, dessen instrumentale Besetzung an die Jazz Messengers erinnert. Im Guardian schrieb John
Fordham im Jahr 2003 in einer Rezension des Albums: “Die Musik versetzt einen zurück in eine Jazz-Ära,
in der die kraftvolle Dynamik des Hard Bop den erfolgreichen Jazz dominierte.”

durch die Amerikas fort. Mit Mi Historia Americana – Sur richtet er den Blick auf Südamerika und die
Karibik mit einem Programm, das beliebtes Repertoire des Kontinents mit neuen Entdeckungen Trifonovs
verbindet.
Zu hören sind unter anderem Klavierwerke von Gabriela Lena Frank, Ginastera, Guarnieri, Lecuona und
Villa-Lobos, dazu Trifonovs eigener Tango. Zwei orchestrale Werke mit dem São Paulo Symphony Orchestra erweitern das Album um Ary Barrosos populäres Aquarela do Brasil und die Weltersteinspielung von
Osvaldo Golijovs farbenprächtigen Cuadros del Sur.
Dabei spannt Trifonov einen Bogen von Brasilien über Kuba und die Dominikanische Republik bis nach

A companion postlude album, The Further We Go The Deeper It Gets, will follow on October 16th, 2026. Together, the two records complete an ambitious body of work that has seen Viken explore a broader and more introspective musical landscape than ever before. "Fleeting Glimpse" provides an evocative introduction to the final chapter of the GIANT SKY trilogy. While Viken"s band Soup has become renowned for its emotionally charged, crescendo-driven soundscapes, GIANT SKY allows him to embrace an even wider palette of influences. Drawing from alternative art rock, post-rock, electronica, ambient music, indie, folk, and progressive rock, the project balances immersive atmospheres with memorable melodies. In an era increasingly dominated by algorithms, artificial intelligence and digital perfection, Viken has consciously taken the opposite path. GIANT SKY is built around the human element of music-making, embracing imperfections and authenticity as artistic strengths. "This album has been with me for a long time.
