Get Up! ist ein moderner Blues-Klassiker in der großen, aber allzu seltenen Tradition der Zusammenarbeit von Künstlern auf einem ganzen Album. Harpers zwölftes Studioalbum, das 2013 bei Stax Records erschienen ist, vereint Gospel, Roots, Country und R&B. Craft Recordings is excited to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Otep’s inspired 6th album, Hydra. The release will see this uncompromising album spread across two LP’s. Originally released in 2013, the album was a top 10 Billboard Hard Rock Album and features the fearsome single “Apex Predator”.

Initially released in 2007, For Those Who Have Heart was A Day To Remember’s first album on Victory Records and saw the band start their rise to the very top of the Warped Tour Metalcore scene. Featuring the single “The Plot to Bomb the Panhandle” the album hit number 17 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers Chart on release. This 10th anniversary release of the record sees the album newly remixed by Adam D, and remastered.

The party goes on! Here, in the second part of the historic Christmas salsa album Asalto Navideño, Willie Colón and vocalist Héctor Lavoe treat us to more of the special sounds that made Volume 1 of the collection one of the most popular Latin music albums of all time. In Volume 2, the team of bandleader/trombonist Willie Colón and inimitable singer Lavoe joins forces again with premier cuatro player Yomo Toro and legendary percussionists Milton Cardona and José Mangual Jr. to cook up New York salsa versions of typical Christmas songs familiar to Puerto Rican audiences of all ages. This típico sound of traditional country music, called música jíbara, is mixed and blended, salsa-style, with a range of other rhythms, starting with Cuban guaguancó and son montuno and African-American jazz.

Originally released in 1962, jazz multi-instrumentalist Yusef Lateef’s “Eastern Sounds” fuses hard bop with middle eastern music as he is joined by Barry Harris on piano alongside Ernie Farrow (double bass, rabaab) and Lex Humphries (drums). This new edition of the album is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl at RTI with all-analogue mastering from the original tapes by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio and presented in a Tip-On Jacket. The set uses newly remastered audio with lacquers cut by Jeff Powell. The packaging includes expansive liner notes by producer Jim Rooney and critic/ writer Holly Gleaso and the booklet includes rare photographs.

There's a Light Beyond These Woods' is Griffith's debut album and was recorded ive to two-track in 1977 and 1978. All but two of the nine songs were penned by Griffith.

Poet In My Window' is Griffith's second album, released in 1982. All but one track are written by Griffith.

Once in a Very Blue Moon', Griffith's third album, was released in 1984 and had more of a country sound than her previous work. This album is different from her previous in the inclusion of more instrumentation; musicians Béla Fleck, Mark O'Connor, Pat Alger, Lloyd Green, and more appear on this record. The title song was covered by Dolly Parton in 1985.

The Last of the True Believers' was released in 1986, and Griffith continues her turn into a more country- oriented sound. It also includes "Love at the Five and Dime" and "Goin' Gone," which were later hits for Kathy Mattea. This album was nominated for a Grammy for Best Contemporary Folk Album.

Is the first solo album from the jazz-funk legend Idris Muhammad, a New Orleans-bred rhythm king who successfully made the leap from the finest soulful jazz records of the ’60s to the nastiest fusion funk of the ’70s. Here we catch him literally on the cusp of the two in 1970, with one good foot in the get-down of “Express Yourself” and “Super Bad,” and the other in his own heady excursions into modal rhythm and melody, accompanied by virtuosos Kenny Barron, Ron Carter, Melvin Sparks, who came together for sessions overseen by legendary producer Rudy Van Gelder. Das Album ”Disclaimer” von Seether wird am 20. Januar 2023 mit einer erweiterten Neuauflage auf
Vinyl, CD und digital gefeiert. Diese enthält das ursprüngliche 12-Track-Album mit Hits wie ”Gasoline”,
”Fine Again” und ”Driven Under” sowie eine bisher unveröffentlichte Live-Show, die 2003 im Hampton
Beach Casino in New Hampshire aufgenommen wurde. Abgerundet wird das Bonusmaterial auf Disclaimer
(Deluxe Edition) durch eine seltene akustische Live-Coverversion von Nirvanas ”Something in the Way”
aus dem Jahr 2002, die ursprünglich als B-Seite veröffentlicht wurde. Einmal mehr begeistert die Band
Seether ihre Fans mit ihrer Mischung aus Alt-Metal, Grunge und Lyrik mit Herz auf dem rechten Fleck.
Außerdem verglich der Rolling Stone Seether mit Grunge-Helden wie Pearl Jam und Nirvana und lobte die
”mitreißende Katharsis” der Gruppe.
