With the Do For You EP, Fossar embarks on a deeply personal yet universal journey that’s as adventurous as our label’s name - Zissou. Known for his beautifully textured releases on Fuck Reality and Feuilleton, Fossar delivers a five-track exploration into the highs and lows of forging your own path. Each track reflects a different shade of the journey - passion, doubt, euphoria, and self-discovery, all woven together through Fossar’s signature warm basslines, hypnotic melodies, and crisp, driving rhythms.

More than just an EP, Do For You is a soundtrack for the summer, a call to take charge, and a reminder that the true adventure lies within. The path isn’t always clear, but the music is here to guide you.

Comic relief serves as a refreshing element that lightens up a tense or tragic situation. It creates a moment of contrast and distraction from the seriousness of the scene. This pattern can also be found in literature and film, in humorous characters like Chandler from the sitcom Friends. Especially in difficult times like these, we all occasionally long for comic relief. With his new EP, David Bay tries to create exactly such a moment of escape.

The songs on the EP unite an organic yet modern approach to indie, disco, and house music. David combines the two worlds he is rooted in: growing up in an indie band and, at the same time, running a disco-house label. After two edit EPs and a collection of singles with classic instrumentation and songwriting, this release brings everything together – music that sounds distinctly indie, but with a pulsating house beat.

Next to the four originals on the A-side, each track was remixed and is to be heard on the B-side of this vinyl: 80ies-influenced and well-known producer Lauer contributed his version of disco-gem „1999“, up and coming Dj- and producer Marie Lung flipped the indie-disco track „strangers“ into a deep and housy groover - Electro-legends Digitalism turned the dance-floor-ballad „<3 beat“ into a French-House belter and Dylan C. Greene hailing all the way from San Francisco remixed „dancing on the edge“. Out now on vinyl, only on Zissou Records.

With his debut EP „Big City Days“ the producer and Golden Pudel resident Speckman shares his vision of the dancefloor, where he creates outbreaking sound textures on a soulful base and unfolds his unique and modern approach on dance music.
Dive right in with „Desperate Housevibez“, a dreamy & breaky intro to get you right in the mood. Next stop is „Something Still“ - heavy on the bottom, quirky at the top.
We finish the A side with „Big City Days“, the melancholic yet upbeat centerpiece of the EP.
Flip the record and you’ll hear the bubbly „Run“, a checked out synthie banger. With the outro „Meow“ Speckman goes back to his roots and let’s you of the hook easy.

In 2018, way before we established our quirky little label & our ears were still young and unspent, in the deep sound forrest that is soundcloud we discovered an unpolished gem of a track, courtesy of Rebecca B, upcoming scottish born and berlin based banger producer.

Some years and life changing times later we are holding in our hand Rebecca’s first vinyl, dubbed „Murphy’s Law“, in accordance with the previously mentioned times.

Step right in with the A1 „Militant Margaret“ which rolls you off straight into Rebecca’s world, followed by A2 „Bionic Butterfly“, that certain gem we talked about earlier. On the B side you can follow Rebecca on a journey back to her roots. B1 „Odd World“ is a downtempo anthem with an infamous influence and B2 „Old Rapper“ its upbeat twin sibling. Welcome, Rebecca
