To celebrate the legendary Young Fresh Fellows' 40th anniversary remix/re-release of their first album The Fabulous Sounds of the Pacific Northwest, the band took one day off their hectic touring schedule to head to Wilco's The Loft studio in Chicago. The band got GRAMMY-Award winner Tom Schick behind the boards, cut 11 brand new songs, and later added some legendary friends across the album, including Neko Case (sings lead on "Destination"), John Stirratt of Wilco (harmony vocals), Morgan Fisher of Mott the Hoople (keyboards), Jonathan Segel of Camper Van Beethoven (violin), Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists (accordion, harmony vocals), Mark Greenberg of Eleventh Dream Day (vibraphone), Peter Buck of R.E.M. (12-string guitar), and Dave "Max" Crawford of Poi Dog Pondering (trumpet). This fully realized version, Loft, has never been released before, and the cover is a faded/fated tie-in with 40th anniversary of YFF's second LP Topsy Turvy, released November 1985.

The first solo album from Keith Streng, the legendary guitarist of The Fleshtones, the greatest garage rock band in the world! Featuring 12 tracks that span from psychedelic rock to '70s rock, with a strong garage rock essence. For this special occasion, Keith has invited some prestigious artists to collaborate on the album. Two tracks feature The Limiñanas, with whom he will be sharing the stage as a guest guitarist on all their 2025 tour dates. Several tracks include Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey of R.E.M.. The French scene is also well represented, with the young prodigies Dynamite Shakers on one track and Tony Truant on another. And, of course, longtime collaborators Michael Giblin and Kurt Bloch from his side project The Split Squad. Adding a touch of magic, the Red Chuck Tabernacle Choir brings light to the stunning ballad "More Than Beautiful". Kurt Bloch (Fastbacks / Young Fresh Fellows / Presidents of the USA) also mastered the album. The "most hard-working man" Keith Streng will be on stage in France this June for several dates with his fabulous Fleshtones.

Gonzalez Smith's debut album: "Roll Up A Song" is an album of classic popular songs with music by Jay Gonzalez and lyrics by Pete Smith. Best known as the guitarist/keyboardist for rockers Drive-By Truckers, Jay's musical tastes range from 'baroque' to 'A.M. Gold' and 'power' pop. His collaborations include local pop legends The Possibilities, power pop stalwart Scott McCaughey (The Young Fresh Fellows), and performances with Chris Stamey of The dB's and Bill Berry of R.E.M. Pete Smith, acclaimed lyricist, made waves with his contributions to the legendary jazz composer Gary McFarland's album "Butterscotch Rum". His journey led him to comedy writing for Adult Swim's animated shows. Classic pop composer Brent Cash's exceptional string arrangements elevate the album's depth and emotion, enriching Gonzalez and Smith's melodies and lyrics. Jay Gonzalez and Pete Smith are like a modern day Bacharach/David, if Burt spent his nights tearing it up with one of the best live rock bands in America, and Hal was a writer for Space Ghost Coast to Coast and The Brak Show. Their debut album as Gonzalez Smith, "Roll Up a Song," is a seamless fusion of power pop, piano ballads, bossa nova, and pure spun sugar confection. Jay brings the same multi-instrumental compositional skills found on his first three solo albums, and Pete pens lyrics by turns honest, romantic, arch and comedic, sometimes in the same verse. The results are so stellar, it's a shock to find out that the Drive-By Truckers guitarist/keyboardist and the Adult Swim comedy scribe haven't been writing together for decades. Arriving in December 2023, via Bobo Integral Records, "Roll Up A Song" transcends eras and genres. It's a harmonious journey, uniting melodies and lyrics into a timeless masterpiece. In 2008 they busted out of the box and easily reached first with their Frozen Ropes And Dying Quails. The Baseball Project was on base and immediately posed a threat to go further. In 2011, they moved on to second with some wildness aptly called High And Inside. They were halfway home. Three years later in 2014, the quintet of Big Stars moved on down the line to the aptly titled 3rd, an epic double dip delight of craftsmanship and savvy. And there they stayed.
