Featuring two tracks from the mind of label boss Vohkinne, and remixes from DJ Spider and Ground Loop, AS007 resides in a contemplative place. The music is reflective of where we find ourselves in life.

Label head Vohkinne steps up to the plate again with the sweaty and headstrong 3 rd. release from Atrophic Society, 'Creole Rhythm'. It's concrete rhythm, combined with an analogue lead riff stirs echoes of warehouses, insistently driving forward, mindful of where it's been.
Tripeo remixes the title track with gusto and flair as we've come to expect, staying faithful to the riff whilst aggressively re-paving the rhythm, offering a slight twist on the original idea. Rounding out the EP, 'Be Like the Sun' removes the rhythm to focus on tone, frequency, shades of sub bass and saturation.

For Atrophic Society's 10th release, simply titled X', Material Object has delved into his archives to uncover a previously unreleased co-production with Audio Injection in the form of Cwejack'. Effectual and triumphant. marching forward with purpose. A treasure. A perfect fit.
Grindr', Material object's other contribution, takes us to the wild edge of sonic exploration and back again. Music poised to push us into the abyss with acidic snarls and overwhelming drones, a writhing black sea swallowing everything in it's path.

Following releases on Detroit Underground, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Planet Rhythm and BluePrint Records, Gotshell releases his first EP on Atrophic Society.

The Colombian aficionado has been making waves across the world for his uncompromising take on the darker side of techno. His new EP 'Quarkcima' is no different, with a thick slice of bass-heavy machine music made for late night body moving.

'Quarkcima' follows a bleepy lead with layers of bass, building to a satisfying and tasteful crescendo, which steers clear of the tropes and uses frequencies to their fullest. It invokes a dark and foreboding atmosphere like a creeping black fog.

First on remix duty is Xhin, who takes the bleepy synth lead and twists it into a heavy-but-funky robotic jam, stark and cold on the surface but with plenty of heat underneath.

Jeff Derringer takes the reins for the second remix, wielding the original parts masterfully into a dense, bassline-driven triplet groove that takes the vibe up a few notches.

Finally, label head Vohkinne adds punch and percussion to his charged and clanging remix, which rounds out a fierce package in style.

'Quarkcima' is four cuts of essential techno that will never leave your crate.

Atrophic Society welcomes Brendon Moeller for it's second release, delivering 2 deeply textured and emotive technoscapes. Wielding a warbled bassline and synthetic bleeps with a masters touch, the title track meanders within a natural landscape, fuzzing and washing around descending chirps and following the call of a distant foghorn, leading us through the Passage to Obscurity. Vohkinne takes the delicacies of the original and hammers them into submission, where the original meanders the remix charges, bringing the distant foghorn into focus as a challenging and stubborn lead. Closing out the EP, Contents Under Pressure surges forward with an insistent Bleep, purging and cleansing itself through gnarling bass, never questioning its purpose as it takes you to a higher state.
