Mit 'A Way out' gelingt PERKELE, Göteborgs finest since 1993, erneut ein Street Rock'n'Roll-Blueprint, ein maßgeschneidertes Statement. 10 Old School Bootboy Anthems, eine mächtige PERKELE-Stampede aus Zorn und Leidenschaft. "Dagegen"-Klartext von der Straße, antisocial for life: Der A.C.A.B.-Smasher 'He loves violence' bringt es amtlich auf den Punkt, die Gier-Gesellschaft bekommt mit 'Dedicated to nothing' ihre Widmung ins Gesicht gespuckt und auch "Leave me alone" läßt keine Fragen offen. Den Stillstand während der Covid-Pandemie haben Perkele genutzt, um ältere Songs im Proberaum neu aufzunehmen, die bisher gerne live gespielt wurden und stets ein positives Feedback bekamen. Die Proberaumvideos kamen auf YouTube so gut an, dass die Band mit Anfragen bombardiert wurde, diese neuen Aufnahmen auch auf Streamingplattformen zu teilen. Leider war die Aufnahmequalität zu schlecht dafür, dazu haben sich im Laufe der Jahre die alten Songs weiterentwickelt und es wurde Zeit sie auf den neuesten Stand zu bringen. Ein Studiotermin musste also her. Im Sommer 2022 war es dann so weit und hier ist nun das Ergebnis.
Zum 30jährigen Bandjubiläum gibt es also 5 Perkele-Klassiker, in neuem Gewand. Lasst Euch überraschen!

Deathchain, hailing from the city of Kuopio, was formed in 2001 from the remains of Winterwolf when the band’s guitarist Corpse moved from the countryside to the city to kick things off, and they continue their illustrious and wild axe wielding path to this day. DEADMEAT DISCIPLES (2003) and DEATHRASH ASSAULT (2005) were originally released by Dynamic Arts Records only on CD. The debut gained a lot of great reviews in Europe, paving the way for the band’s substantial touring around Central Europe, Netherlands, and Belgium. The sophomore album DEATHRASH ASSAULT, which ended in the 18th place on the Official Finnish Album Chart, unleashed Deathchain on the Hellhoundz of Doom and Thrash -tour with Candlemass and Destruction, playing live shows in thirteen countries across Europe. The Japanese version of the album was later released on CD in 2006, featuring a bonus cover track of Slayer’s Black Magic. Corpse comments the reissues: ”It's been over two decades since we recorded our first two albums, and finally they will be unleashed to haunt in the format that is closest to our hearts. Seit über 20 Jahren zeigt diese chinesische Punkband der Obrigkeit den Stinkefinger. Derkompromisslose Sound wurde schnell über das Reich der Mitte hinaus bekannt und erreichte Europa und die USA. Nach nur 2 Alben, 10jähriger Pause und Best Of-Compilation erscheint nun endlich das dritte Studioalbum und es wurde verdammt nochmal Zeit! Ein Highlight der Bandhistory war der Auftritt 2009 als Special Guests auf der Chinatour von Sham 69. Kein Zufall, denn The NONAME liefern besten 80er UK Punk mit blitzschnellen Beats und eingängigen Refrains. "Believe In Chaos" klingt wie ein Tribute an The Clash, aber es geht auch härter und heftiger. Urgesteine der alternativen Musikszene aus aller Welt unterstützen die Chinakracher mit ihren Impulsen und bringen neue Nuancen ein. "Waiting For The Day" entstand zusammen mit der antifaschistischen spanischen Punkband Non Servium , die schon ihr 25-jähriges Bestehen feiern konnte. Die seit 2003 existierende Street Hardcoreband Acidez aus Mexiko rütteln mit "Anti" auf gegen Rassismus und fordern kreativen Widerstand. Aus Amiland kommen Big D & Kids Table, gegründet 1995, die bei "Scream To The World" besten Bostoner Skapunk beisteuern. Sie liefern zurmusikalischen Faust in die Fresse einen Sprechgesang mit fast poetischem Text. Melodiöser gehts bei "Warrior Of Faith" mit der Pariser Punk und Powerpop-Band "The Choices" zur Sache. Hymnenartig verarbeiten die schwedischen Streetpunks Perkele aus Göteborg, 1993 ins Leben gerufen, bei "Go Down In History" ihren Oi! zum Kampf gegen Unterdrückung. Kein Titel könnte besser zu den Songtexten passen als "Fortress Besieged". Ein schon marodes Unrechtsregime wird solange belagert bis es zusammenbricht. Der Aufruf zum Aufstand ist ein Schrei nach Veränderung und Freiheit aber auch eine Feier der Lebensfreude in einem chaotischen und aufregenden Dasein. Wer dieses Album versäumt verpasst ein Stück Punkgeschichte.

"Eclipse" markierte anno 2006 den Beginn einer völlig
neuen Ära, als Sänger Tomi Joutsen der Band beitrat und
wieder Growls in den melancholischen Sound der Band
einführte. Bis heute diese Platte vielleicht eine der
wichtigsten in Amorphis' 30- einjähriger Karriere.
Kein Konzert wäre jemals komplett ohne ihren größten
Hit "House Of Sleep", der über 13 Millionen Mal auf
