Seit 2014 ist Junkyard Drive entschlossen, die Band zu sein, die den Soundtrack zum Leben auf der Überholspur mit dem Publikum als Passagier liefert. Jedes Mal! Mit drei von der Kritik gefeierten Alben, vielen Konzerten und Tourneen in den meisten Teilen der Welt haben sie mehr ausprobiert als die meisten dänischen Rockbands. Jetzt ist ihr viertes Album auf dem Weg, und das Ziel hat sich geändert.

Auf "Look At Me Now" liefern Junkyard Drive zehn hochoktanige Rocksongs, die mit Flair, Präzision und viel Energie vorgetragen werden. Man ist versucht, von neuer Energie zu sprechen, denn obwohl Junkyard Drive auf den zehn im April erscheinenden Tracks weitgehend wiedererkennbar sind, ist es in vielerlei Hinsicht eine veränderte Band, die sie abliefert. Ein paar Änderungen in der Besetzung und ein dringend notwendiger Blick in die internen Beziehungen haben den Fokus wiederhergestellt und die Freude am Spielen erneuert. "Look At Me Now" begrüßt zwei neue Gitarristen:
Oliver Hartmann und Kristoffer Kristensen. Beide bringen erfahrungen aus anderen Genres als dem Rock mit, und das bringt neue Ideen beim Songwriting mit sich

Nach einem vielversprechenden Debütalbum im Jahr 2017 waren die dänischen Hardrocker JUNKYARD DRIVE bereit, 2018 mit ihrem zweiten Studioalbum "Black Coffee" in der Szene zu explodieren. Das Timing war richtig, die Band war irgendwie heiß, aber niemand konnte die erstaunliche Sammlung von Songs erwarten, die das Kollektiv für das Album schreiben und aufnehmen würde.Das Album war ein sofortiger Erfolg, mit Hits wie "Where I Belong", "Sweet Little Dreamer" und "Way Too Long", die massives Airplay im dänischen Radio erhielten, die Streaming-Charts anführten und Junkyard Drive Spots auf den wichtigsten Festivals und in Dänemark und den Start ihrer internationalen Karriere gewährten. Heute ist "Black Coffee" eines der meistgehörten dänischen Hardrock-Alben im Internet, mit über sieben Millionen Streams auf den wichtigsten Plattformen. "Where I Belong" ist sogar der beliebteste Junkyard Drive-Song mit mehr als drei Millionen Streams auf Spotify.Jetzt, nach Jahren des Ausverkaufs, wird "Black Coffee" endlich eine neue Vinyl-Edition bekommen. Es wird auf lila 180-Gramm-LP erhältlich sein, limitiert auf 500 Exemplare und handnummeriert. Ein klassisches Format für ein modernes klassisches Hardrock-Album, das sich die Sammler nicht entgehen lassen werden.

Perc Trax's scene leading Forever series returns for its third instalment. Taking a more curated approach to your typical 'release 30 random tracks and see what sticks' approach of most VA projects, the Forever series keeps the track count tight and the quality control even tighter. Featuring four artists new to Perc Trax plus new material from label regulars Perc and EAS, Forever 3 is essential as a summary of where both Perc Trax and the wider techno scene are at right now.

Opening up proceedings is Somniac One, making her Perc Trax debut after well received releases on RAW, Ghostly International, PRSPCT and her own newly launched Somniverse label. 'Junkyard Shift' is everything you'd expect from Somniac One on Perc Trax, huge kicks, hardcore synths and just the right amount of dance floor drama. Next up another Perc Trax Exos debutant, well known for his releases on Trip, Symbolism, Force Inc and more serves up something from the rougher extremes of his musical range with 'Warlion' a 4/4 stomper relying on swooping synths to drive the track forward.

On the B-side Perc collaborates with new Perc Trax signing Million on 'Rotopod'. Working together for the first time the newcomer influence pushes Perc's sound to a faster, more aggressive place. Closing the vinyl is 'Ryu Acid' by Perc Trax regular EAS, an acid fuelled monster that has been a highlight of Perc's sets for over a year now.

The Dutch groove-driven heavy rock band Hell Valley High releases their highly anticipated debut-lp “Welcome To Hell Valley”. The album was recorded at Big Dog Recordings, just outside of Antwerp, Belgium. All music was recorded live to capture Hell Valley High’s true energy. The title is a nod to the legendary 1994 Kyuss album. At the same time - like the band’s name - the title is an ode to the band's favourite movie Back To The Future. “Welcome To Hell Valley” includes groovy & grungy songs and catchy fiery stoner rock tunes. The album also contains a cover of the song “Send Me A Postcard”, that was originally released in 1970 by Shocking Blue. Hell Valley High is composed of seasoned musicians who have played a lot of shows in The Netherlands and toured Europe extensively. The group features ex-members of Wildebeast, Filthy Felons, Note To Amy, Apehanger and Junkyard Safari. Black and orange coloured vinyl edition.

Keepsakes returns to Perc Trax for his first full EP for the label,following his appearance on the 'Forever 2' various artists release back in 2020.
On 'Rant 4 Cash' James Barrett (aka Keepsakes) turns his attention to the lies and fakery of the current dance music scene, with lead track 'Scene Analysis' refusing to hold back when it comes to calling out the issues facing today's techno scene. A deep Green Velvet style vocal floats over a swinging junkyard percussion groove to drive the original mix forwards.
Label boss man Perc can't resist remixing such a memorable vocal track and swaps the swinging groove of the original with a pounding kick heavy rhythm to add even more intensity to the raw rage of the original mix.
Flip the record over and the B-side serves up another two punchy groove based tracks, pairing Keepsakes' unique brand of swinging percussion with cut up vocal shouts and grinding synth lines. B1 track 'Industry Anthem' repeats and warps the word 'money' as an extension of the cash grab call out of 'Scene Analysis' whist closing track 'Prey For Hype' uses other-worldly robotic vocal shouts over a tough kick led groove to finish the EP on an energetic high.
