Von seinen bescheidenen Anfängen bei Wortox/Altar über frühe Vorzeigebands wie Suffer und Nasum bis hin zur Präsentation seines einzigartigen Schlagzeugspiels bei legendären Bands wie Nominon, In Aeternum, Benediction und Deströyer 666 und dem Verleihen seines Könnens an neuere Bands wie Kvaen, Devil's Force und AngelBlast scheint die Liste seiner Beiträge zum Metal schier endlos.
Nach einem Leben, das er im Underground verbracht hat, mit einer nie erlahmenden Hingabe an das Handwerk des Metals, ist sein Name zum Synonym für harte Arbeit und eine wahre Liebe für alles, was mit Metal zu tun hat, geworden. The Monsterican Dream is the second studio album by Finnish metal band Lordi, released in 2004. It features an overall heavier sound with a grimmer look to the band than Lordi's first album Get Heavy. This follow-up is produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa, who worked with HIM, Sentenced and Amorphis amongst others.

The album spawn two singles; "My Heaven Is Your Hell" and "Blood Red Sandman", peaked at number four in the Finnish album charts and was certified Platinum. It was re-released in Finland as a limited edition on DVD, which included Lordi's short film The Kin.

The Monsterican Dream is available on vinyl for the first time as a limited edition of 666 individually numbered copies on translucent red coloured vinyl. The album is housed in a gatefold sleeve and includes an 8-page booklet.

Before the very popular thrashy death metal band Legion Of The Damned was formed, with albums out on Massacre and Napalm Records, vocalist Maurice Swinkels and drummer Erik Fleuren played in the more brutal extreme blackened death metal band Occult.

 Hailing from Geldrop, Noord-Brabant, The Netherlands, the already very extreme barking voice of Swinkels was supported by female vocalist Rachel with an even more brutal grunt. After two studio albums on the Dutch label Foundation 2000 they were on the search for an international record deal and they recorded two demos to achieve that goal.

The first four songs on this album come from a rehearsal room session in 1997, and the last five songs were recorded in the small Harrow Studios in 1998. It resulted in a deal with the German Massacre Records label, and Occult’s third studioalbum, ‘Of Flesh And Blood’, saw the light in 1999.

Now you can finally hear, for the first time, most of these songs in their original, raw and rough demoversions.
