Cosmic Elements' first ever vinyl release is a 10 track album of chillhop, LoFi, old school and funky hip hop beats from Thylacinus & Da Funksta entitled 'A New Beginning'.

For fans of chilled downtempo beats in the style of Pete Rock, MF Doom’s Special Herbs series, Mushroom Jazz and LTJ Bukem’s Cookin Records imprint ‘A New Beginning’ was greatly influenced by these legendary artists and imprints, with none other than Mark Farina, the main man behind Mushroom Jazz, providing the artwork for the record sleeve and centre labels.

From the lush sunshine vibes of 'A New Beginning' with it's dreamy strings and infectious guitar lick, to the thought provoking keys of 'The Times We Had' through to the funky RnB influenced bass heavy 'Ready For The New Day', the album is a journey through all things chill.

Both prolific producers and label owners in their own right under various aliases, expect to see much more from Thylacinus & Da Funksta both individually and as a duo.

Arp Frique returns to the scene with a new album after a string of releases, leaving the cratediggers and dancefloor tastemakers with underground classics like Nos Magia, Voyage and Nyame Ye. On ''Analog People Digital World' he embraces the digital coldness of Yamaha’s classic DX7 synthesizer to create a refreshing listening experience using only the FM synthesis-based sounds from this machine to find new heat for an analog world, reflecting on the digital revolution we are living through. The album features Ghanaian songstress Mariseya (Omampam, Jah Kingdom, Digital World, Roi Salomon), Cape Verdean OG Americo Brito (Go Now Wetiko) and Surinam funkstar Sumy, who joins the record on the opening track “Spiritual Masseuse”. Arp Frique closes the album with “Duncan Truffle”, a very intense and wobbling instrumental echoing Bootsy and Bernie Worrell on a solo exercise. Expect an analog-digital exploration of lofi funk, highlife, zouk and reggae. Does that DX7 sound hot or cold to you?

For their 4th vinyl release, Voyage Funktastique called up one of their close collaborator, Lee Funksta. The Amsterdam resident delivers a stellar double sider, teaming up with L.A. talkbox prodigy B.Bravo on the slapper "The Formula", while on the flip side, he's joining forces with Future Soul Legend Reggie B, delivering a Minneapolis-esque dark ballad "What U Wanna Do".

Umso verblüffender zu hören, wie fluffig und beweglich sich die Atmosphäre in den Mitten und Höhen gestaltet - hier ist schwebende Vogelperspektive vom Feinsten angesagt. Die energetischen Breaks, aufputschenden Filter-Sweeps und lässigen Synthie-Akkorde von Noise No Girls' erinnern an klassische House-Nummern, klingen aber extrem frisch und modern. Das reicht dir noch nicht, du willst noch mehr Abwechslung Dann sei ergänzend zum 10' Vinyl noch die Digitalversion empfohlen. Stephan Zovsky gibt Mighty Fat' einen deepen, hypnotischen Anstrich, ohne jedoch die housige Leichtigkeit des Originals über Bord zu werfen. Zusammen mit Pophop und J.Patterson hat er aus dem Track außerdem eine jazzige Downbeat Nummer mit verträumtem Trompeteneinsatz gezaubert.
