Nearly two years after "Superpaesaggio," Futureslowdubdisco rematerializes with a new album rooted in deconstructed rhythms, suspended atmospheres, minimalism, emotional tension, and ethnic echoes. Simone Ticconi and Francesco Colagrande, true explorers of sound, first delve into dark and shadowy ravines ("Shaman"), then descend into ocean depths ("Wendigo"), and make their way through impenetrable forests ("Natureconnection"), finally reaching the slopes of an active volcano ("Manitou").
The adventurous journey is rounded out with two more danceable remixes by Virtual Reality and Adelmo.

Sonor Music Editions proudly presents "A TEMPO DI JAZZ" by Maestro Piero Umiliani. This lost gem captures the formative years of Modern Jazz in late 1950s Italy - alongside the legendary Basso-Valdambrini recordings in the early 1960s, as well as the early years of Piero Umiliani's long and prolific career as a composer with over 190 soundtracks, 40 library albums, and 35 TV title themes recorded.

A TEMPO DI JAZZ includes seven original compositions by Piero Umiliani recorded in 1959. Here, at the age of 33, he lays a perfect ground with himself as a pianist, accompanied by some of the best Italian soloists at the time: Marcello Boschi on alto saxophone and flute, Ivan Vandor on tenor saxophone, Peppe Carta on bass, and the American trombonist Bill Gilmore. With plenty of room for improvisation, the sextet fuses Big Band moods with West Coast experimentation of Latin American rhythms and Modern Jazz ballads that sit perfectly between his soundtracks for the films "I Soliti Ignoti" (Big Deal on Madonna Street) from the same year that attained him international recognition, and his masterpiece "Smog" (featuring Chet Baker and Helen Merrill) from 1962.

Five compositions are outtakes from Piero Umiliani's mega-rarity "Tempo Jazz", released on RCA Custom in 1960, while 'Tema In Blues' has been published on the two - impossible to obtain - 45 releases "Moderato Swing" (RCA Camden 45CP 112) and "Tema In Blues" (RCA Custom 45 R3) from 1960 as well as the previously unreleased track 'Mezza Cottura.'

The music has been transferred and remastered from the original master tapes and lacquer cut in MONO, preserving the original sound of the recordings.

East London based quintet IAN bring a sense of jovial camaraderie through their heavy, loud and droning post-rock dirges on debut album 'Come On Everybody, Let’s Do Nothing!' through UK charitable label Human Worth.

IAN (the band) are refreshing newcomers in the UK's heavy underground. The East London based quintet will be releasing their stirring debut album Come On Everybody, Let's Do Nothing! on Vinyl and Digital via independent label Human Worth on October 17th – a labour of love between five old friends and ex-bandmates from Exeter’s fertile early '00s DIY punk scene.

Self-described as "a band that appreciates the peaks and troughs of post-rock as much as the crunch of the riff," IAN's striking debut delivers five dirges that merge earth swallowing riffs with the atmospheres and dynamics of their post-rock heroes, such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor, with the bite and visceral heft of Cult Of Luna and Amenra. Thoughtfully captured by Wayne Adams (Petbrick, Big Lad) at his London based Bear Bites Horse studio, IAN craft slowly mounting riffs, with anguished screams, woven with elegant cello playing, field recordings and earthy timbres. Come On Everybody Let’s Do Nothing!, and the band IAN as a whole, is the culmination of 25 years of musical comradeship and the need to find inspiration in films, noise and the drudgery of middle-aged life.

Rising UK independent label Human Worth have pressed up a limited run of Eco Mix Vinyl, housed in a stunning sleeve designed by guitarist Craig Murray, with a very small batch of Bandcamp Exclusive Signed Prints. 10% of all profits will be donated to charity Mermaids – supporting trans, non-binary and gender-diverse children, young people and their families since 1995.

NOTON is pleased to announce12 Conversations, a collaborative album by Ryuichi Sakamoto and Alva Noto to be released on 18 September 2026.

The partnership between the legendary musician and composer Ryuichi Sakamoto and the German artist Carsten Nicolai (aka Alva Noto) has produced some of the most distinctive and enduring works in contemporary electroacoustic music. Beginning with Vrioon in 2002, the artists spent more than two decades fusing and expanding their disciplines, with Sakamoto's evocative, sustain-drenched piano compositions finding their counterpart in Nicolai's skilful and sensitive electronic detailing.
Each successive project further deepened their artistic dialogue: from the five studio albums of the V.I.R.U.S. series (Vrioon, Insen, Revep, Utp_ with Ensemble Modern, and Summvs), to their score for Alejandro G. Iñárritu's The Revenant; Glass (2017), a wholly improvised performance inside Philip Johnson's iconic Connecticut landmark, in which the pair fixed contact microphones to the glass walls, playing the architecture itself as an instrument; and Two (2019), a document of their live performance at the Sydney Opera House.

Across these works, their distinct approaches achieved a rare synthesis, a brilliantly sustained dialogue between piano and electronics, Sakamoto's warmth and melodic finesse meeting Nicolai's abstract electronic formalism to invoke a mesmeric quietude as deeply satisfying in its melodic resolutions as in the merger of its filmic romanticism and meditative subtlety.
12 Conversations brings together musical exchanges recorded in November and December 2022. Rooted in the same creative period that gave rise to Sakamoto's final solo album 12, these recordings were not originally intended as a standalone release. It was only after the completion of 12 that Sakamoto and Nicolai decided to present these exchanges as a work in their own right.
The album reflects the vitality and curiosity that defined more than two decades of shared inspiration: fluid, exploratory, and forward-looking. Created with openness and trust, it captures a creative process in constant transformation - sounds expanding, altering, and evolving through attentive listening.

Conceived as the continuation of an artistic dialogue extending beyond the physical, 12 Conversations honours Sakamoto's wish that these encounters should exist beyond the archive, offering an enduring testament to one of contemporary music's most revered collaborations.


Carsten Nicolai writes:
"A heavy breath can be heard in the recordings. Yet this work is not about remembrance but continuation, vitality, curiosity, and the spirit of experimentation that shaped an artistic relationship over decades.
The twelve pieces we exchanged in November and December 2022 possess extraordinary density: sounds expanded, altered, recontextualized. Initially, every intervention felt almost inappropriate. Yet this was part of our openness and trust: adding, shifting and radically yet softly transforming.
Even in these final exchanges, plans for future projects continued to take shape, mindful of finite yet firmly believing in the power of new ideas. We chose the name Conversations, which has become a space of memory and vision, where past, present and future intertwine.
For a long time, releasing this music seemed impossible. The loss felt too sudden, and the emotional connection too profound. As time passed, it became clear that these twelve musical encounters should have life outside the archive. To honor Ryuichi's wish, these pieces are now being released as the continuation of a dialogue that extends beyond the physical."

The first single, Conversation 3, will be released on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. The second single, Conversation 6, will be be released on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

A DJ, producer and significant figure in contemporary electronic music, Marcel Dettmann steps forward to contribute to Running Back’s ongoing Mastermix series. Whereas previous editions of Mastermix have taken an ear to the sound of lapsed, legendary clubs such as Wild Pitch and Front, Dettmann’s curation deftly captures the man himself in ongoing perpetual motion, raiding the vault for his own precision-tooled edits, long-employed on dancefloors to devastating effect. Alongside a continuous mix, this release arrives as a 3LP gatefold, and as a limited edition cassette.

Closely associated with Berlin’s techno landscape, Dettmann was born and raised in the former GDR, then later immersed in the bleary-eyed counter cultural landscape of post-unification Berlin. Initially oriented by post-punk, industrial and new-wave music, Dettmann has been DJing since 1993, always expanding and perfecting his repertoire. He later began working behind the counter at the city’s tastemaking rave boutique Hard Wax, and a decade after he first dropped a needle, became (and remains) resident at notable local nightspot Berghain/Panorama Bar, where his instincts have helped sculpt the signature sound of both main dancefloors.

Of course, you’re probably not asking, “Who is Marcel Dettmann?” More importantly, you might want to know; just what treats has he gifted us here? The trip begins with a simple pitch-shift skywards, transforming Identified Patient’s creeping ‘The Female Medical College of Pennsylvania’ into a peak-time freakout, before an alternate take on Toctronic’s ‘Bis uns das Licht vertreibt’ emerges from the vaults for the first time. Dating from 1995, and one of Dettmann’s all-time favourites, Cristian Vogel’s ‘Untitled’ clambers back into the box with respectable cuts, while John Bender’s ‘Victims of A Victimless Crime’ kicks off the flip sporting a new arrangement, transporting us back to the foundations of a confident, stripped-back sound.

A few subtle edits to Clark’s perilously funky ‘Dirty Pixie’ takes us to Dettmann’s remix of Junior Boys. Produced in 2010, it transposes the Canadian duo’s sophisticated pop with our curator in his minimal prime, and has since become an irresistible prize for high-minded diggers. The same can be said for Experimental Products’ explosive proto-electro anthem ‘Who Is Kip Jones?’, empowered from pricey Discogs purgatory with just the slightest of tweaks. It’s deservedly sandwiched between the guiding influences of Chicago and Detroit in the form of Mutant Beat Dance’s raw ‘The Human Factor’ and a shimmering new version of previous solo production ‘Water’, featuring close friend and Ostgut Ton ally, Ryan Elliot.

The second half of the Mastermix seamlessly connects the mechanical past and digital present of EBM and industrial in the dance, with Dettmann’s instincts as a guiding hand. Severed Heads’ iconic ‘We Have Come To Bless This House’ emerges with mere nips and tucks, while Nitzer Ebb’s ‘Shame’ is significantly reimagined as a highwire act of rhythm and tension, setting up a sensual second take on a 2017 remix of ‘Limbo’ from Swiss synth heroes, Yello.

Core musical memories are shaken and stirred with a context-shifting take on Frank Duval’s emotional classic ‘Ogon’, while Ian North’s ‘Sex Lust You’ and Ford Proco’s notable Coil collaboration ‘Expansion Naranja’ effectively throb with only minor adjustments, respectfully imagined as “shadow versions”. Meanwhile, a simple breakbeat lifts Albert Kuningas’s ‘Astraalprojektio’ in the direction of wide-eyed dancefloors, while a fresh take on K-Alexi Shelby’s ‘Season of The Real’ inexplicably emerges somehow even funkier than before.

The conclusion of the compilation leads back to Das Tier from the prolific experimentalist Conrad Schnitzler, whose swirling synths and hypnotic vocals are duly tightened by Dettmann, but only as he puts it, “in conversation with the original.” Concluding three discs and thirty years of commitment to the dancefloor, this Mastermix not only offers us the opportunity to eavesdrop on this endless exchange, but to gain some sought-after material for our own record collections.

The rat is back in the building due to circumstances beyond our control! "rat" is an electronic project born from the gutters of Brussels in 2024 by long-standing collaborators "neither" and "Milius." After 15 years of hidden experiments they have been assembling a sonic language where glitch, ritualised circuitry and spectral noise merge. Originally released as a cassette on Futura, "home" now returns repressed on vinyl. Their debut unfolds as a labyrinth of disjointed rhythms, haunted textures and fleeting moments that feel slightly out of time. What little is known, stays buried. All that remains is to keep listening.

When you breathe, you testify to existence itself: "I am." The Moonrover - a child of reason - abandoned on the cold, dead Moon. It does not feel time, know fear, or comprehend solitude. But a human, in its place, would understand: Silence is not emptiness. It is a mirror. And in that mirror arises the question: "If I am alone, and silence is infinite - who hears my breath?" The answer lies in the breath. Each inhale is resistance against entropy. Each exhale is an act of remembrance. To breathe is to remember that you are not just part of the Universe - you are its awakened part. And just as the Moonrover crawls across grey lunar plains, driven by an unknown purpose, so do you move through life, led by an inner light, until you realize: breath is not just life. It is a prayer sent into silence. And if you can hear it - you are alive.

Matthias Reim ist zweifellos ein großfühlender Mensch. Ein beneidenswert produktiver Zeitgenosse ist er sowieso. Er hat rund zwei Dutzend Studioeinspielungen veröffentlicht, etliche davon brachen in Gold- und Platin gegossen Verkaufsrekorde. Auf dem neuen Longplayer "Zeppelin" präsentiert Reim seine 16 neuen Songs so frühlingsfrisch und auf den Punkt gebracht wie ein tatendrängender Newcomer. Einer, der sich gleichzeitig eines enormen Musikmacher- und Lebenserfahrungsschatzes ermächtigen kann. Anders lässt sich die gesteigerte Wahrhaftigkeit in "Zeppelin" nicht erklären. Reims Rock klingt heute handgemacht-rockiger als je zuvor, die Refrains sind größer geworden und die Balladen balladesker. "Zeppelin" ist kurzum der beste Reim aller Zeiten.

Im September 1964 war es Miles Davis endlich gelungen, den Saxofonisten Wayne Shorter von Art Blakeys
Jazz Messengers abzuwerben und mit ihm sein Second Great Quintet zu vervollständigen. Shorters Solokarriere schien darunter nicht nur nicht zu leiden, sondern sogar noch beflügelt zu werden. Und zwar so sehr,
dass Blue Note mit dem Veröffentlichen seiner Soloalben kaum nachkam. Eines der Alben, die zunächst
archiviert wurden, war “The Soothsayer”. Es wurde im März 1965 mit einem Allstar-Sextett aufgenommen,
erschien aus unerklärlichen Gründen aber erst 1979. Denn laut AllMusic gehört es zu Shorters “besten
Werken aus dieser unglaublich fruchtbaren Zeit”.

As has been the case with a number of releases on Punctuality so far, Echo Chambered has already gained notoriety as a sleeper hit for those in the know. Fans of Evan Baggs and Rey Colino’s Radar stream from Dekmantel 2025 will instantly recognise Carousel, pulled from a white-label dubplate about half an hour into the set. Fast forward nine months and a flood of track ID requests later and PNCT011 is finally here: five expertly crafted rollers from a modern master of the craft, Bliss Inc.

It’s easy to see why there has been so much demand for Carousel. Its earworm vocal, delicate percussion programming, undulating low end and spacey sound design land it squarely in the sweet spot between the minimal, progressive and contemporary tech house that so many
diggers are seeking out.

While the A1 is an undeniable hit, each track truly sounds like a hard-to-find early 2000s gem—the kind of record a Discogs shark will flip for extortionate rates. Why? Maybe it’s the rolling basslines, the understated grooves, the organic but club-ready percussion, the vocal samples or the cerebral FX.

Maybe it’s the mature, floor-focused arrangements, or the way Bliss Inc. nods to different corners of the dance music spectrum while maintaining a distinct signature. Or more simply, perhaps it’s because each track is an expertly constructed club tool —built for DJs, but just as rewarding for listeners.

However you want to hear it, Echo Chambered has all the markings of a Punctuality classic. With all five tracks doing damage in equal measures, you know what to do…

We’ve always been careful not to call Balmat an ambient label, because we like having the freedom to move, to drift, to morph. But with our 11th release, we turn our ears—proudly, blissfully—to a strain of ambient at its most timeless. The appropriately titled Dreams & Whispers comes from Warsaw’s Bartosz Kruczyński, who has recorded under a number of guises, Earth Trax, as well as his own name. Over the years, he’s touched upon deep house, breakbeats, acid, techno, electro, IDM, and more; often, the throughline running through a given album is simply the refusal to remain in any one place for long—well, that, and his unusually nuanced ear for harmony and texture.

Those qualities come to the fore on Dreams & Whispers, which might be the most focused encapsulation of Kruczyński’s atmospheric sensibilities to date.. Across 14 stripped-down tracks for shimmer and pulse, Kruczyński evokes overlapping styles in ambient—warm vibraphones, taut arps, massing strings, lonesome delay chains —but always with his own twist. Fitting the album’s title, the album is loosely divided into two distinct moods: The A-side, “Dreams,” is charged with subtle movement, rhythms spreading out like rings around skipped stones, while the B-side, “Whispers,” plunges into a zone of shadows and hush. The two complementary moods flow into one another like the faces of a Moebius strip, yielding an album that’s intuitively shaped and rich in emotion.

This LP features a full side for each artist and is pressed in lavender vinyl. Mindstreams is a vocalized ambient bed of sound by JP Berreondo and Stefanie Naifeh. From opera to avant-garde, neo-cabaret to singing world music in 15 languages, Naifeh journeys through a colorful mosaic of music. She began her classical training at the age of 8, performed with the San Francisco Opera in the children's choir in Carmen, and majored in opera at UCLA. She later formed the avant-garde, neo-cabaret band, The Underthings in 1987. Squash and Biscuit is a Los Angeles based husband/wife team featuring composers Shuwen Zhao and Brian Griffith. Recorded live from 2020-2021, each piece serves as a short investigation into the world between sound and music using found sounds, musical samples, instrument recordings, and voice manipulation. With a new alias, TM404, Andreas Tilliander has created enjoyable ambient dub simmering with life and details. The songs have all been recorded live, in real time in the studio. A unique way of operating within today's electronic music. - Everything is recorded in one take. Nothing is post arranged, says Andreas Tilliander, and adds that this might be his most ambitious album ever. The project's name is also a tribute to Roland, although of the more intricate kind. - When they made these machines in the eighties, they avoided the 404, since the sound for four, 'chi', is the same as the sound for death in Japanese. At that time it was therefore taboo and the 404 was never launched. Not until now, due to my album!

A timeless classic - coming up on nearly 20 years since the original 12's were released and the very first time this LP has collectively been available on wax. (over 15 years since last in circulation) This edition was remastered to analog perfection from the legendary Stefan Betke (POLE) sonically sculpting the original work into a true masterpiece - this album has never sounded so alive! This is truly a multidimensional sound experience; it's like taking a swim in an analogue ocean and being immersed into the deepest end of the Marianas Trench. Reissue of Rudimentary Peni’s stunning debut 12-song 7”. Recorded in 1981 at Street Level Studios and originally released on their own Outer Himalayan label. From the first track Rudimentary Peni pull you in and aurally assault your ears. It’s abrasive, sharp with supreme musicianship. They created a perfect, demented universe of twisted, poetic and needle in the red punk that has never been bettered. This reissue comes with a fold out replica sleeve with the iconic Blinko foetus artwork and booklet.

Cult Argentinian darkwave act Euroshima’s Gala sees a vinyl reissue courtesy of Dark Entries. Euroshima was formed in 1986 by Fabián Iribarne, José Wyszogrod, Ricardo Parrabere, and vocalist Wanda. Originally released in 1987 on Polygram, Gala was a success throughout South America. But to the band’s dismay, they received minimal support from the record label, which meant the album would linger in obscurity outside of the region. A CD issue via Twilight Records surfaced in 2020, but this is the album’s first reissue on vinyl.
Gala’s legendary status among cognoscenti is warranted. The album’s nine tracks display all the hallmarks of the best darkwave: spiky guitars, analog synth basslines, and wailing vocals. But Euroshima make their mark on the genre with impeccable songcraft and a honed sense of the uncanny. While the band themselves rejected the label of “gothic”, it’s hard to resist busting out the black eyeliner when listening to gems like the uptempo “Como Los Otro” or the churning album-closer “Mejor Callarlo”. Highly recommended for fans of Xmal Deutschland, Lebanon Hanover, pummeling TR-707’s, and doom-laden synths.

This reissue is co-presented with Twilight Records, responsible for the 2020 CD reissue of Gala. It has been remastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios. Also included is a double sided insert with lyrics and photos, as well as a postcard featuring a photo of the band.

Mit "Autosmile", ihrem Debüt für das Label 4AD, schärft das US-Duo @ (At) sein unverwechselbares Profil zwischen psychedelischem Folk, Indie-Rock und experimentellem Pop. Die Songwriter:innen Victoria Rose und Stone Filipczak entwickelten ihre Musik zunächst über Jahre hinweg aus der Distanz. Auf dem Nachfolger ihres vielbeachteten Debüts Mind Palace Music bündeln sie diese Arbeitsweise zu einer ebenso verspielten wie ausgereiften Klangsprache. Die elf Songs von Autosmile verbinden klassische Songstrukturen mit komplexen Arrangements, ungewöhnlichen Harmonien und einer ausgeprägten DIY-Ästhetik. Obwohl Stone während der Albumarbeiten nach Philadelphia zog und beide erstmals in derselben Stadt lebten, blieb der kreative Prozess bewusst unkonventionell. Unterstützt von befreundeten Musiker:innen, die Cello, Violine und Schlagzeug beisteuerten, entstand ein überraschend üppiger Sound, der dennoch seinen intimen Charakter bewahrt. Inhaltlich bewegt sich das Album zwischen Verlust, Selbstreflexion und Hoffnung. Der Opener "Bird" verbindet düstere Folk-Klänge mit eingängigen Pop-Momenten, während der knapp siebenminütige Titeltrack "Autosmile" eine Trennungserfahrung in eine poetische Reise voller mystischer Bilder und existenzieller Fragen verwandelt. Songs wie "I Know You Are (But What Am I Thinking)" feiern die Schönheit von Veränderung und Vergänglichkeit, während "Punish My Mind" das Spannungsfeld zwischen Selbstbestrafung und Selbstfürsorge auslotet. Trotz der oft dunklen Grundstimmung bleibt Autosmile von einer spielerischen Experimentierfreude geprägt. Prog-Einflüsse treffen auf Indie-Sensibilität, Melodie auf Komplexität. Victoria Rose und Stone Filipczak verzichten bewusst auf eindeutige Botschaften und schaffen stattdessen offene Deutungsräume, in denen sich persönliche Krisen und neue Möglichkeiten begegnen. Das Ergebnis ist ein Album, das Schönheit und Schmerz gleichermaßen umarmt und selbst in seinen melancholischsten Momenten einen leisen Optimismus bewahrt.

Das 2016 erschienene "Teens of Denial" markiert einen entscheidenden Wendepunkt in der Karriere von Car Seat Headrest und insbesondere von Frontmann Will Toledo. Nach einer Reihe von lo-fi Bedroom-Produktionen, die Toledo größtenteils allein aufgenommen hatte, war es das erste Album, das mit voller Bandbesetzung und größerem Studioaufwand entstand. Veröffentlicht wurde es über das renommierte Indie-Label Matador Records, bei dem Toledo kurz zuvor unter Vertrag genommen wurde. Das Album verbindet introspektive Texte mit energiegeladenem Indie-Rock und greift Themen wie Selbstfindung, Angst, Isolation und Jugendkultur auf. Songs wie "Fill in the Blank", "Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales" und "Destroyed by Hippie Powers" wurden schnell zu Publikumslieblingen und halfen der Band, ein deutlich größeres Publikum zu erreichen. "Teen Of Denial: (Joe"s Story)" ist nun ein komplettes Remake dieses 10 Jahre alten Klassiker. Toledo, der seinen Songbook gerne neuinterpretiert, wechselt hier die Perspektive und erzählt die Geschichte aus der Sicht von Joe. Auf dem Originalalbum verwendete Toledo häufig den Namen "Joe" als Pseudonym - eine subtile Hommage an Daniel Johnston. Als er Teens im Vorfeld seines 10-jährigen Jubiläums erneut aufgriff, verspürte er den Drang, Joe eine eigene Hintergrundgeschichte zu geben, und begann, das Album entsprechend anzupassen, um diese Geschichte zu erzählen. Die Band kehrte gemeinsam mit dem Teens-Produzenten Steve Fisk ins Studio zurück, um das Werk zu überarbeiten - mit angepassten Texten, überarbeiteten Arrangements und neuen Aufnahmen im "Denial-Stil", darunter "Optimistic Son" und die hymnische Single "Joe Drives Again". Das Ergebnis bewahrt die düstere Note und den jugendlichen Zynismus von Teens, lässt aber zugleich eine Spur mühsam errungener Mitmenschlichkeit in den Gesamtklang einfließen.

Das dritte Studioalbum von Holy Motors, ,Heaven's Night", verbindet die für die Band typischen westlichen Traumlandschaften mit eingängigen Pop-Melodien und New-Wave-Klängen, die für die estnische Band Neuland darstellen. Bemerkenswert ist vor allem eine neue Sanftheit in den Songs auf ,Heaven's Night", in denen Figuren vorkommen, die sich von den düsteren Sonnenuntergängen und der Outback-Melancholie des 2020 erschienenen Albums ,Horse" lösen. Wie die Band selbst sagt, ist ihr neuer Sound ,süß wie tropfender Honig, traurig wie Sommerregen". Zweifellos ist ,Heaven's Night" das bisher abwechslungsreichste Album von Holy Motors. Vom rasanten Galopp von ,The Last Ones" bis zum poppigen Herzstück ,Hellishly Hot" verleiht ,Heaven's Night" der Welt der Band eine neue Wendung - eine, die etwas weniger gespenstisch und dafür etwas gefährlicher ist.

Das neue Livealbum "Sutsche" in Red/Orange Vinyl: Zeitlose Perlen und humorvolle Hymnen wechseln mit sanften Balladen und hintergründigen Gesellschaftsbeobachtungen. Allen eigen die kauzige Cleverness der Monsters, mit der sie punktgenau die Pointen finden, die stets den hoffnungsvollsten Ausweg aus jeder Ohnmacht bieten. Ob Schokobusse oder vergessene Feierlichkeiten, alte Freunde oder kraftgebende Pommbären, der Wunsch zur Wahrheit trifft die Erkenntnis des Schicksals und der Mond strahlt dazu gütig. Die Welt der Monsters ist bunt und voller Melodie, und wer auch immer ihnen eine Chance gibt, wird schnell bemerken, wie der monströse Zauber auch den eigenen Alltag alsbald mit Farbe und Freude füllt. Der Weg ist schließlich das Ziel, und dieser hat den besten Soundtrack.

Zwei Jahre, nachdem das Debütalbum "Was für ein Glück" (2024) die deutschsprachige Indie-Szene aufwirbelte, Konzerte quasi über Nacht ausverkauft waren und sich noch vor der Veröffentlichung eine innige Fangemeinde bildete, ist es endlich soweit: das zweite Album von ENDLESS WELLNESS, "Domino Days" (2026), ist da! Musikalisch bleiben sich Milena Klien, Adele Ischia, Patrick "Pata" Huter und Philipp Auer treu, von mitreißenden Tanznummern bis feinfühliger Gesellschaftskritik ist alles dabei - und das nicht selten klug im selben Song vereint. Aber auch einige klangliche Überraschungen hält die Band diesmal bereit. ENDLESS WELLNESS entwerfen auf "Domino Days" (2026) andere, bessere Zukünfte und geben mit ihrem Album einen musikalischen Vorgeschmack darauf, wie sich diese anfühlen könnten. Sicher ist: Diese Zukünfte sind ein Ort für uns alle und sie haben die Musik von ENDLESS WELLNESS als Soundtrack.

Die Welt war nie bereit für The Monsters, und The Monsters waren nie bereit für diese Welt. Nach vierzig Jahren, in denen sie zu einem echten Monster aus Fleisch und Blut herangereift sind, präsentieren sie ihr neuntes Album: gut ein Dutzend kompromissloser, wilder, lärmiger und fuzz-geladener Tracks. Ein Mix aus Ein-Riff-Beat, Trash, Garage, "Bern Metal", Boogie, Punk und Grunge - Songs, die einen von innen nach außen stülpen, aufgenommen mit "Miracle" Robert "Worker" Butler und abgemischt von Jim "Dirtbomb" Diamond - ein echtes Garage-Punk-Dreamteam. Vor vierzig Jahren, 1986, war die Jugendkultur-Revolution in Bern (Schweiz) in vollem Gange, Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene wollten sich aus den konservativen Fesseln befreien. Die Straßen brannten, Clubs entstanden und eine neue Schweizer Musikkultur wurde geboren. Dies markierte auch den Beginn von The Monsters. Vierzig Jahre später hat sich der Zustand der Musikkultur - oder vielmehr der Welt im Allgemeinen - wohl eher verschlechtert. Individuelles Denken und Schaffen sind nach wie vor nicht sonderlich anerkannt oder gar erwünscht (Hey KI!). Im März 2026 blieb der Band also nichts anderes übrig, als ihre Instrumente, das Aufnahme-Equipment und ihre Ideen in den Proberaum zu verfrachten. Sie verbrachten einen Monat mit Robert Butler (u. a. The Miracle Workers) und seinem mobilen "Two Cent Recording Studio". Sie schrieben Texte (insgesamt etwa 100 Wörter - mal sinnvoll, mal unsinnig, über das ganze Album verstreut), tüftelten am Sound und nahmen Gitarren in allen erdenklichen Variationen auf. Das Ganze wurde gewürzt mit Percussion, Schlagzeug, Bass sowie obskuren Orgeln und Synthesizern, die sie auf Flohmärkten oder in den Kellern von Freunden aufgetrieben hatten. Nach diesem vierwöchigen Trip schickten sie das gesamte Chaos an Jim Diamond (Ghetto Recorders Studios in Detroit, Dirtbombs, White Stripes, Gories, André Williams... klar, worum es geht, ne?!), um es einem umwerfenden Mix-Abenteuer zu unterziehen. Das Ergebnis ist ein Dutzend Songs ohne Kompromisse, Schwächen oder Stärken. Einfach nur roher, ungeschliffener Lo-Fi-Garage-Punk'n'Roll voller Energie - und das mit vierzig Jahren "Nicht-Erfahrung". Erhältlich sind schwarzes Vinyl und eine pinke Picture-Disc (beide mit Insert & DLC), eine höchst audiophile CD sowie Kassette, die bei doppelter Geschwindigkeit leiert!
