Neue Farbe - Gatefold-LP (lila Vinyl) inkl. gefütterter Innenhüllen und speziellem Vinyl Master

Tarja Turunen ist seit 2005 auf Solopfaden unterwegs. Die ehemalige Sängerin der finnischen SymphonicRock-Formation Nightwish nennt sich seither nur noch Tarja und hat inzwischen zahlreiche Alben veröffentlicht.
Ob klassisch, live eingespielt oder farbenfroher Symphonic Rock, mit ihrem englischsprachigen Rockdebüt My Winter Storm” legte sie bereits 2007 den Grundstein für ihren späteren Soloerfolg.
Die stilistisch abwechslungsreiche Platte erreichte in Deutschland Platz 3 der Albumcharts und wurde mit
Gold ausgezeichnet. Im Zuge des Jubiläums wird der Album-Opener ”I Walk Alone” als limitierte 10-ZollSonderedition auf weißem Vinyl veröffentlicht.
Der fast meditative, von Metal-Gitarren und symphonischem Orchester untermalte Track zu Beginn gipfelt
in einem eingängigen und monumentalen Hardrock-Refrain, dem Tarja die funkelnde Gesangskrone aufsetzt.
Neben der ”Single Version” und der ”Artist Version” enthält die 10inch-Single drei weitere Mixversionen
des Songs: Den markanten ”In Extremo Remix” mit den typischen Sounds der deutschen Mittelalterband,
den stark elektronisch angehauchten ”The Tweaker Remix” und den wahrhaft düsteren ”The Darkroom
Mix” von Deviousnoise.
I Walk Alone” stammt übrigens aus der Feder des erfolgreichen schwedischen Songwriter-Teams Wollbeck/Lindblom/Sommerdahl (das u.a. auch für Tina Arena, den Jazzer Till Brönner oder Südkoreas Girls’
Generation arbeitete).

Viele Songs der Sportfreunde Stiller sind Klassiker und aus der deutschen Musikwelt nicht mehr wegzudenken: „Applaus, Applaus!“, „Ein Kompliment“, „Wunderbaren Jahren“. Im September kommt „JEDER NUR EIN X“, gesprochen ”Jeder nur ein Kreuz” – das achte Album der Münchner Band, sehnsüchtig erwartet von Fans und Followern.

Der erste Single „I’M ALRIGHT!“ ist 100 Prozent Sportfreunde Stiller. „I’M ALRIGHT!“ macht Lustauf mehr: auf der Oberfläche die pure Lebensfreude – und ein paar Ebenen tiefer eben doch ein Nachdenken über die Welt.

Jan Delay hat im letzten Sommer zusammen mit der Disko No. 1 “Earth, Wind & Feiern” - die Platte für den Club in unserem Herzen - auf die Bühnen dieses Landes gebracht und die Show in Hamburg gleich mitaufgezeichnet. Daraus sind 18 dynamische Live-Tracks voller Bass und Bumms entstanden, die zusammen mit den zwei neuen Studio-Songs „Der Bass & die Gang“ und „Alles gut“ die positiven Vibes zurück in unsere Herzen tragen.

Wie immer bei Jan Delay schöpft “Earth, Wind & Feiern” aus fünf Jahrzehnten Popgeschichte. Vor allem aber spielt die Platte im Hier und Jetzt. In ihr stecken Burna Boy und Stefflon Don, Daft Punk und
Drake, Sly & Robbie und Meek Mill. Es gibt Afrobeats, Disco, Trap und Ska, sogar Stadiontechno und LatinX-Riddims.

“Earth, Wind & Feiern – Live aus dem Hamburger Hafen” ist voll Seele und Bounce und positiver Energie. Denn so bedrückend und komplex die Welt manchmal auch scheinen mag: Ein paar simple Wahrheiten werden nie von ihrer Gültigkeit verlieren. Wenn Hass herrscht, hilft Liebe ganz bestimmt. Und das Wichtigste ist, dass das Feuer nicht aufhört zu brennen. Jan Delay ist wieder zurück, um es am Lodern zu halten.

Als REGENER PAPPIK BUSCH überraschten Sven Regener (Trompete), Richard Pappik (Schlagzeug) und Ekki Busch (Klavier), alle drei bekannt als Musiker der Gruppe ELEMENT OF CRIME im letzten Jahr mit „Ask Me Now“, einer Jazzplatte der ganz besonderen Art. Und gelangten damit auch gleich an die Spitze der Deutschen Jazz Charts im Monat März.

Nun legen sie nach mit „Things To Come“. Und auch auf dem zweiten Album bleiben sie ihrem Konzept treu: Klassikern des Modernen Jazz eine neue, eigenwillige, vor allem aber auch wilde und exzentrische
Interpretation zu geben.

REGENER PAPPIK BUSCH sind ein durchaus ungewöhnliches Trio.
Der Sound ist zuweilen hart und direkt, zuweilen aber auch ausgesprochen zärtlich und cool. Sie schlängeln sich - zwischen Minimalismus, musikalischem Brutalismus und Jazzklassizismus changierend - durch ein Repertoire ausgesprochen berühmter Stücke von Thelonius Monk, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Miles
Davis, Ornette Coleman et alteri und drücken ihnen ihren eigenen, unverwechselbaren Stempel auf. Der Blues als Brücke, als wichtiges Element, gepaart mit der Liebe zum Modernen, zum etwas Schrägen, zum Avantgardistischen, was sowohl ELEMENT OF CRIME im Rock, als auch REGENER PAPPIK BUSCH im Jazz auszeichnet.

Trees Speak are Daniel Martin Diaz and Damian Diaz from Tucson, Arizona and their music often draws on the cosmic nighttime magic of Arizona’s natural desert landscapes. ‘Trees Speak’ relates to the idea of future technologies storing
information and data in trees and plants - using them as hard drives - and the idea that Trees communicate collectively.
Special guests from the hyper-creative hub of the Tucson music scene on this release are Gabriel Sullivan, Ben Nisbet, Saul
Millan, Stephani Guilmette, and Davis Jones.
The album Vertigo of Flaws was recorded in Brooklyn, New York, and Tucson, Arizona during the plague of 2021.

‘As we travel through space and time, avoiding the discarded remains of the industrial period, the
deconstruction of social norms through the expression of art, music, and philosophy guide the human
experience towards the unknown.
All that remains are musical echoes scattered throughout the universe, like ancient vibrations that now
populate the cosmos. These waves now show signs of decay. Melody, beauty, tonality have all but fallen
away as dissonance blossoms. As John Cage wrote in 1937,
“Whereas, in the past, the point of disagreement has been between dissonance and consonance, it will be,
in the immediate future, between noise and so-called musical sounds. New methods will be discovered,
bearing a definite relation to Schoenberg’s twelve-tone system and present methods of writing percussion
music and any other methods which are
free from the concept of a fundamental tone”.
Similarly, George Van Tassel claimed the Integratron as capable of
rejuvenation, anti-gravity, and time travel. So, what remains of the
“people”? We have adopted from them our own Zeitgeber: their pulses
now guide our sun, our planets, our earths, and are the new circadian,
diurnal, and ultradian rhythms of the galaxy. Traumsprache, dream
speech, is now the internal language of trees.
Decaying metal and machines liberated the note unto nature’s table,
and we sip the delicious nectar of music once more irrational, elaborate,
violent, vast. The past is the future, musical disintegration its own rebirth.
We are nature, once more the computer of the Universe.’

While most ensembles are driven by personalities, the Necks are powered by an idea. A very large and simple idea - which now seems completely obvious…. but only because the Necks thought of it and made it work. Now their pleasure (and ours) is sequentially to re-imagine and explore that idea – the prime directive of which seems to be to be that each unfolding step and every passing detail of any performance be allowed to evolve organically out of the musical conditions established at its moment of departure. In other words, we are in the territory of chaos and catastrophe theory; of hurricanes and butterfly wings… And, since one can never step twice into the same river, each beginning has led to wildly unpredictable and variant outcomes; and imperceptibly: you never hear the changes until somehow they have already happened. “We end up, Lloyd Swanton writes, ‘in a very different place from whatever our initial notion … had been.” In the case of Vertigo, we are dropped straight into an almost Feldmanesque musical universe, in which sounds - seemingly disconnected - are already there; creating space rather than inhabiting it. Then, without trying, they mutate. Not mechanically and not according to any pre-determined process - because it’s always clear that what we hear is being played by human beings; that it’s music. A special kind of music that is not pushy or demanding or demonstrative, but rather co-operative, spatial, ambiguous. A music that leaves room for its listeners.

Vordergrundmusik's head honcho re:deep kicks off the Vertigo remix series with his interpretation of Aural Drift. He gives the track a whole new vibe by adding a lively beat and garnishing it with restrained sounds and beautiful harmonies. An oh so cozy affair!

The second installation is of no other than one of Shitkatapult's labelfounders, T.Raumschmiere.
Keeping the vibe of the original whilst spicing it up with effectful and driving elements. An energetic 135 bpm madness to go wild to!

In between the striking synth jabs and arcane vocals of Back to Life, Rittik Wystup spins a net of sharp, crackly drums and fondle, almost trickling piano tones. His elation to combining electronic and acoustic spaces is mirrored throughout the rework, echoing his own unique sound note by note.

Last but not least, we are very delighted to have the german powerduo Extrawelt on the remix duties. The Cluster Buster version takes the original on a dark and imposing journey of huge 808s, raw synths and celestial widescreen pads. Turning it into a sturdy yet cinematic beast of an electro tune. While the Laser Blazer Remix takes things to a whole new level. Ever since Extrawelt started playing this version in their live sets, people have been going absolutely nuts! As the title already suggests, an absolute highlight and surely one for the books!

„Seventh Sun“ ist weit mehr als nur eine Single, es ist ein exemplarischer Song, der die SCORPIONS ihre unverwechselbare, legendäre DNA im neuen, harten Sound zelebrieren lässt. Rudolf Schenker gelingt es am Anfang von „Seventh Sun“ perfekt, uns mit seiner Flying V fast mystisch in diesen kraftvollen Song
zu holen, ganz in der Tradition von Scorpions-Klassikern á la „Animal Magnetism“ oder „China White“.

Einmal mehr unterstreichen solche künstlerischen Bausteine die
Absicht der Band, mit ihrem neuen Album „Rock Believer“ die große DNA der Scorpions immer wieder zu bestätigen.

Das spektakuläre Cover der Single stammt von Klaus Voormann, dem Grammy-Gewinner („Bestes Schallplattencover 1966“), der u.a. für das ausgezeichnete Beatles-Album „Revolver“ das Album Cover entworfen hat.

Nie wieder Krieg ist unser 13. Werk, dessen Entstehung uns zwei intensive Jahre lang beschäftigte. Wir glauben, daß wir mit Nie wieder Krieg eines der schönsten Alben unserer Karriere aufgenommen haben.

Die Pre Order des Album startet direkt mit der Veröffentlichung von Jugend Ohne Gott gegen Faschismus. „Jugend ohne Gott gegen Faschismus“ ist die erste Single aus dem bestürzend schönen Album „Nie wieder Krieg“ von Tocotronic. Es ist ein hypnotischer Rocksong, der den Alltag jugendlicher Drifter in einer durchgeplanten Stadtlandschaft beschreibt und in einer klar antifaschistischen Botschaft gipfelt. Die Botschaft ist tanzbar: Der Bass drängt, die Gitarren fahren Achterbahn, das Schlagzeug drischt nach vorne,
es wird mit Attitude gesungen.

We are very happy to present a new series of limited releases in vinyl, called the Pattern Series. This series will consist of translucent pressings with specially designed artwork, and the first number 'Vertigo' will feature three tracks from label boss Oscar Mulero.
On the A side, the main track is 'Epley Manoeuvre', with funky components, solid drums and a repetitive synth workout which is reminiscent of classic Regis-style bleeps. This one is aimed directly for the floor.
On the B side there are two other cuts. First comes 'Gravity' flanged sequences on an hypnotic vein, sharp shaker driven percussions and a subtle but fat kick drum spiced with white noise details and 909 snares.
Closing the B side we find 'Particle Repositioning', which starts with a round kick drum and bleepy one bar sequences that are soon spiced with claps and reverb. A second percussive sequence appears after some bars, starting a rhythmic conversation until the shuffled hats and rides complete the beat.

Endlich ist der Sommer in vollem Gange, endlich zeichnet sich die Möglichkeit ab, wieder Livekonzerte
spielen zu können, endlich veröffentlicht Megaloh sein neues Album »21«. Es ist der Anbruch eines neuen
persönlichen Zeitalters. Denn auch, wenn der Rapper nie ganz weg war, er veröffentlichte Singles und
Features, nicht zuletzt im vergangenen Jahr die »Hotbox«-EP und 2017 das BSMG-Projekt »Platz an
der Sonne«, ein Soloalbum ist seit 2016 nicht mehr erschienen. Seitdem hat sich das Leben des Rappers
grundlegend verändert: Den Job im Lager hat Megaloh schon lange gekündigt. Vater ist er geworden,
daran geknüpft entwickelte sich ein gesteigertes Bedürfnis nach finanzieller und familiärer Sicherheit. Eine
weltweite Pandemie führte nicht nur zur Verzögerung der Veröffentlichung, sondern gab Raum zur Ruhe
und Reflektion, zur Neuorientierung und zum Wiedergewinn der Freude an der eigenen Kunst. Der Moabiter
hatte die Gelegenheit, aus dem Hamsterrad des Alltags herauszuzoomen: »Ich konnte viel darüber nachdenken, wie ich Musik mache. Was mich stört und was mich heiß macht«, sagt er. Megalohs Erkenntnis:
Die oft zitierte Verkopftheit wirkt manchmal lähmend.
Aus dieser Neuorientierung entstand »21«.
Am 13. August 2021 veröffentlicht Megaloh sein viertes Soloalbum »21«, eine Rückbesinnung auf die

Vertigo is a 1958 American film noir psychological thriller film directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock. The story was based on the 1954 novel D'entre les morts (From Among the Dead) by Boileau-Narcejac. The film was shot on location in San Francisco, California, and at Paramount Studios in Hollywood. It is the first film to use the dolly zoom, an in-camera effect that distorts perspective to create disorientation, to convey Scottie's acrophobia. As a result of its use in this film, the effect is often referred to as the Vertigo effect'. Vertigo received mixed reviews upon initial release, but is now often cited as a classic Hitchcock film and one of the defining works of his career.

Maeckes hat ein neues Album gemacht. “POOL” ist sein Of-Age-Moment: Die elf Songs handeln von der
Liebe, von der trügerischen Kraft der Gewissheit und vom Ankommen, das nie kommen wird.
Der Albumtitel ist dabei gleichermaßen Sinnbild und Mission Statement. Er steht für den Pool als losen
Vibe und konkreten Ort: ein Becken voller kleiner Sehnsüchte, in dessen unschuldiger Oberfläche sich
die großen Fragen unseres Lebens und die großen Ungerechtigkeiten unserer Welt spiegeln. “POOL” ist,
in radikaler Konsequenz, ein Pool an Liedern. Der rote Faden findet sich im Subtext; darüber erschafft
Maeckes in sich geschlossene Welten mit unterschiedlichsten Ästhetiken und musikalischen Referenzen auf
die eigene wie allgemein die Musikgeschichte: von den alten Franzosen über Yacht Pop und Punkrock bis
hin zu 808 und gebrochenen Herzen. Mit “POOL” schließt die Trilogie seiner Soloalben. Nach “KIDS”
von 2010 und “TILT” von 2016 repräsentiert “POOL” auch musikalisch ein Ankommen. Die Melodien sind
ausformulierter, die Worte klarer, der Vibe zärtlicher, auch versöhnlicher als je zuvor bei Maeckes. Das
Ankommen wird nie kommen. Es ist, als als müsste man genau das akzeptieren, um trotzdem irgendwie
anzukommen. Und zu erkennen, dass er vielleicht schon da ist. “POOL” erscheint am 11.06.2021 digital,
als CD und gelb transparente Vinyl (1LP).

Das hier ist unser Debüt-Album - „golden hour“. All unsere Erlebnisse, Gefühle, Seelen und Gedanken
zusammengefasst in elf Tracks auf einer Platte. Wir hoffen und glauben, dass das lange noch nicht zu ende
ist, dass das nicht alles ist.
Die Vinyl enthält ein 12-seitiges Booklet mit den Lyrics und Fotos von Lucio, die Platte in cremefarben

Titled Vertigo, the new record is set for release on Svart Records on May 21st this year with a foreboding sound of lysergic doom. What began on the previous record, ‘The Horse & Other Weird Tales’ is taken further and deeper, towards a conclusion on Vertigo. Songwriter and guitarist Thomas Corpse comments, “To me this album sounds like a dark horse – a brother to the previous album. There’s a strange ominous feeling that hovers upon the entire album, maybe it’s the feeling of nostalgia that’s arising from the lyrics.” Wrapped in a crude tornado-adorned old school sleeve, the album’s eight tracks bubble in a boiling cauldron of vintage pop culture influence and occult-tinged paranoia. Ranging from the softly fiery opening track ‘Burning of The Velvet Fires’ to the almost heavy metal -ish nihilistic banger ‘Born To Kill’, Vertigo is a spiraling journey of heavy Finnish psych rock at its finest. The first single cut “Summer Tripping Man” is a heavy hitting prophecy of doom condensed into the classic three minute garage format, and it has already become a steady part of the band’s live set long before it was captured on tape. Vor 25 Jahren, am 25. September 1995, wurde die Tür zu einer neuen Ära aufgestoßen, die die Rockmusik sowohl in Deutschland als auch global nachhaltig beeinflussen sollte: Die Berliner Band Rammstein veröffentlichte an diesem Tag ihr Debütalbum ”Herzeleid”. Aus Anlass dieses Jubiläums geben Rammstein und Vertigo Berlin/Universal Music am 04.12.2020 limitierte und remasterte Ausgaben dieses innovativen und bahnbrechenden Erstwerkes auf CD und Vinyl heraus. Unter dem Titel ”Herzeleid (XXV Anniversary Edition - Remastered)” wird das Album mit seinem originalen Tracklisting als Einzel-CD samt aufwändigem Kreuz - Digipack in einem Deluxe-Schuber erhältlich sein, wohlgemerkt erstmals in remastertem HD-Sound. Außerdem wird eine Doppel-LP, ebenfalls im Schuber, mit 180 Gramm-Schallplatten in blauer Splattered Vinyl-Optik aufgelegt. Die komplett überarbeitete Verpackung mit zahlreichen neuen Komponenten stammt vom ursprünglichen Artwork-Designer Dirk Rudolph. Die Booklets sind zudem mit den Original-Bildern des Fotografen Praler ausgestattet. Beide CD- und LP-Editionen sind streng limitiert.

"Vertigo KO" enthält unveröffentlichtes Material der 2017er "Light Sleep" und "Voice Hardcore" Sessions der japanischen Avantgardistin Phew, samt eines The Raincoats-Covers ("The Void"). Die 2CD (ltd. Japan-Import) enthält zudem den Sampler "Vertical Jamming" mit langen Drone-Werken von Phew, der zuvor als limitiertes Tape und digital erschien. Beiden Tonträgern liegt ferner ein 20-seitiges Fanzine mit Linernotes von Künstlerin und Label sowie Fotos von Masayuki Shioda bei. Die Kultmusikerin Phew begann ihre Karriere 1978 mit der japanischen Punkband Aunt Sally. 1981 erschien ihr legendäres Kollaboalbum "Phew" mit Holger Czukay, Jaki Liebezeit und Conny Plank. In den 1980ern arbeitete sie mit Ryuichi Sakamoto, Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten) und Chrislo Kaas (DAF) und jüngst mit Ana Da Silva (The Raincoats), Jim O'Rourke und Yoshimi (OOIOO, Boredoms) zusammen.

Side A comes with a special Shed rework. Rene is a huge influence for us and we are thrilled to have him on our catalogue. Keeping the essence of the original, he made a proper raw dub techno banger. On the flip side, Kastil, already part of the family, took Nyame in a whole other level and made a fresh blend of fierce techno.

Starting out in 2001 to tie up some loose ends from our regulars, SPEICHER has since become a guarantee for vanguard dance sounds from all over the planet, allowing KOMPAKT to invite and support electronic artists that comfortably inhabit both the delicate and the more deliberate ends of the electronic music spectrum. For SPEICHER 81, Amsterdam-based DJ and producer PATRICE BÄUMEL presents two adventurous minimal epics with decidedly mind-bending propensities.

As a long-running resident DJ at Amsterdam's renowned Trouw club, PATRICE BÄUMEL certainly knows how to draw in a crowd, having proven his skillful approach to hypnotic techno time and time again, as an impeccable host as well as an internationally acclaimed guest DJ in the world's leading venues. Just as his DJ sets, Patrice likes to infuse his own music with raw energy and a sense for sonic adventure - MILE HIGH GANG serves as a perfect example for his credo, underpinning its vibrant synth sequences with a meticulously crafted - and intensely propelling - beat.

The true mind bender, however, arrives with the flipside's aptly named VERTIGO, a deceptively simple, yet unstoppable son of a pitch shifter, cutting its way through spiralling serpentines in dizzying heights. Never one to let himself get bogged down by genre markers or scene compliancy, PATRICE BÄUMEL commutes between electronic factions with ease: he caters to a purist crowd as well as those in dire need of sonic surprises, giving both daydreamers and nighthawks something to rock out about.

The story of 'Get Tragic' can be traced way back to the relentless gigging off the back of their 2014 self-produced and self-titled record, when the heels finally fell off of Blood Red Shoes at the end of that same year. A near-decade of incessant road time and a non-stop pace of life finally took its toll, with the band stopping only to quickly hammer out 'another ten songs' to release as their next record, before ploughing straight back into touring. The pair exhausted themselves to the point of collapse. 'We didn't, at any point, have a breather,' says Steven Ansel (drums and vocals), 'We probably didn't see each other for about 10 days a year, tops, for six or seven years.' Understandably, such incessant close proximity led to implosion. 'We got the to the end of the fourth record and were like, 'F**k you, I never want to see you again','Steven adds, half-laughing, half-sighing.
