It's dedicated to the 1988 Experimental / Electronic masterpiece by the Italian contemporary guitarist Riccardo Giagni, originally released on Stile Libero (Italy) + a special Balearic Remix by SIMON PETER.
Archeo Recordings is a reissue record label that regenerates old, lost, obscure and forgotten rare gems of mostly Italian music but also all over the world of the 70s, 80s and 90s.
All outputs are licensed by the artists and the vintage labels; audio tracks are remastered in their original form; the sleeves and center labels are graphically recreated for today but all based on the original images.
Archeo would like to make the music available to a wider audience of collectors, DJs, music lovers of a forgotten time.
All releases are hand-numbered limited edition vinyl. The first copies of each release are pressed in coloured vinyls.

Die Psych-Rocker aus Cincinnati kehren mit ihrem vierten Album zurück und drehen die texturierten Synthesizer und spacigen Melodien voll auf, um ihr bisher shoegaze-lastigstes Album zu schaffen. Das zentrale Nervensystem von In The Pines befindet sich in The Lodge - einem alten Freimaurertempel, der als Mehrzweckraum gegenüber von Cincinnati in Dayton, Kentucky, umfunktioniert wurde. Die Band bewohnt eine Ecke des Kellers in diesem weitläufigen Labyrinth, wo sie Foleytronics betreibt - einen kleinen Laden für Vintage-Profi-Audio-Reparaturen und einer der wenigen Läden weltweit, der Vintage-Digitaleffekte reparieren kann. Ähnlich wie beim Konzept von Oulipo in der Poesie und Mathematik entstehen Kreativität und Problemlösungsfähigkeiten aus einem klaren Verständnis und ständiger Überprüfung der Grenzen. Der Aufnahmeprozess ermöglichte es In the Pines zum ersten Mal, sich mit den kleinsten Details zu beschäftigen - ganze Tage wurden damit verbracht, den richtigen Akustikgitarrensound zu finden, nur um schließlich auf ein Stück Klebeband zu kommen, das über die Saiten geklebt wurde; Stunden, die in anderen Studios als Luxus gelten würden, wurden damit verbracht, verschiedene Beckenkombinationen für einen Refrain oder eine Bridge auszuprobieren. Genau wie bei ihrer Reparaturwerkstatt schuf die Band einen Aufnahmeraum, in dem Hyperfokus und Liebe zum Detail nicht nur erlaubt, sondern ausdrücklich erwünscht sind. Das Ergebnis dieser obsessiven Kontrolle ist das bislang ausgereifteste Werk von In The Pines. Sunbeam Dream hebt den Shoegaze-beeinflussten Psych-Rock der Band auf ein neues Niveau. Mit einer stärkeren Betonung der Synthesizer, die sich von einem strukturellen Element zu einem Hauptcharakter im Sound der Band entwickeln (dank eines wiederbelebten Mellotrons von 1971), reiht sich die Band in die Tradition großartiger und kraftvoller Alben wie ,A Northern Soul" von The Verve oder dem selbstbetitelten Album von The Charlatans (UK), bei denen die Produktion der beiden Bands ihrer kreativen Vision zu entsprechen schien. HES049 sees Pangaea expand his sonic palette with two striking tracks that bridge underground club dynamics and bold pop instincts. Mutant, in partnership with Warner Records, are proud to present Z Berg’s beautiful and haunting original soundtrack to JT Mollner’s secret masterpiece Strange Darling. The less you know about Strange Darling before you see it, the better (forgive us for tip-toeing around context). But you can safely listen to Z Berg’s exceptional soundtrack safely without spoilers. Director JT Mollner and Z initially bonded over vintage single artist soundtracks as a days-gone tradition of filmmaking. But what they have produced together is evocative of New Hollywood, 70's-exploitation, right down to the soundtrack you want to have in your collection.

JayWood - the nom de plume of Jeremy Haywood-Smith - is embracing new pastures having moved his music-making from Winnipeg, Manitoba to Montreal, and his new album Leo Negro chimes with a different tone as it looks to reconnect the self and grapple with one's identity. Marking a moment of meaningful change where controlled chaos takes the lead, it philosophises on what it truly means to be an experimentalist building a multi-faceted world where genre is infinite through sounds braver, more playful, and truthful than he's dared deliver before. Despite its astute sampling with layers of twists and turns, Leo Negro doesn't showboat but roars in the presence of vulnerability as it considers one's absolutes as a way of navigating the identity crisis. "Always looking for attention, I admit it, I can't help it, I'm a Leo," he reasons between vintage hip-hop scrubs on `Pistachios,' recalling a childhood need to be the centre of attention then stepping out of the spotlight as a grown-up. "Leos are confident and sure about themselves, but this record isn't that; so really, when translated, the title inspires `black confidence.' It's an uncomfortable, weird, and surreal term which bends the truth and embodies everything within." Experimenting in both life and music, Leo Negro and its first cut, `Big Tings' (feat. California, art-pop duo Tune-Yards) couldn't be further from 2023's Grow On EP and the previous year's slick LP Slingshot. Moving with flow akin to D'Angelo with Toro Y Moi textures, its twinkling intro of whirling synth and playful approach circles back to Jeremy's adolescence when he'd reverse, slow down, and speed up his favourite songs through the media player on his computer. Encouraged by his musical squad Will Grierson, Arthur Antony, Brett Ticzon, and enlisting his stylist and thrifter friends to capture the Leo Negro aesthetic, JayWood's big `in' for 2025 is collaboration, with the tight-knit crew of likeminded musical colleagues captured in session photo grins beaming from his Instagram grid. Nominated for Canada's coveted Polaris Music Prize, it'd be easy to be the cowardly lion; to rinse and repeat what's worked up to this point. But for JayWood, leaning into his natural `what if?' curiosity to make up his own rules as he goes along ("I never really knew what they were to begin with") and venture into honesty's unsafe space to seek comfort, confidence and make even greater connections, really is the only option. Returning for a second release on his own House of Jack imprint: Gunjack serves up another 180 grams of forward thinking techno music with a remix by Oliver Kucera of Djax/R&S acclaim. "Breakfast at the Guillotine" Shows the increasing use of custom modified, vintage synthesizers alongside FM synthesis to achieve a unique sound that is refined, while still maintaining a raw and industrial feel. With nods to 90s electronica like FSOL or AFX, the devil is in the details with each track forming part of a larger narrative while remaining firmly anchored in the Gunjack sound. "This feels to me; more like a concept album than a collection of tracks. I wanted this record to reflect the current, dystopian version of the future we were promised - a place where we are all having 'Breakfast at the Guillotine'."

Ben Pest and ARA-U unite for the next release on No Static / Automatic. Kaos Sympatic EP started life with the pair recording jams of various vintage studio kit, including an EMS VCS3, Roland VP330 and an Orgon Systems prototype known only as the “Silver Box”, which developed into full tracks over subsequent sessions. Ben Pest has been busy releasing high grade club tracks including collabs with Radioactive Man and Kursa for Asking For Trouble and Love Love Records last year, and with solo EPs dropping on Cultivated Electronics and Posh End music. Here he links with NS/A boss ARA-U, turning out some of their headiest material to date.

The EP kicks off with ‘Err Hello’, it’s wholly discordant, lairy, and unapologetically weird. ‘‘Get A Grip’ drifts in with hallucinatory wafts of sound over a warped riff, building into a granular, distorted headfuck of a hoover-bass moment. This one will make the subs rattle on the right side of distortion. On the B Side title track ‘Kaos Sympatic’ gets stuck in with a big broken beat and guttural sub that transforms into a techno drop to drive this track home. Finishing up, ‘Slapback’ serves up a cut of high energy electro funk, coming off like classic ERP on heat. Limited edition purple vinyl.

After a stellar V.A. release, Forbidden Dance continues its story with Brazilian synth virtuoso Pedro Zopelar and his 4-track EP.
Known for his genre-blending productions that traverse ambient, deep house and electro, Zopelar crafts tracks that are both pulsating and sensual. His latest work is a testament to his ability to merge the warmth of vintage rhythm machines with futuristic synth explorations, delivering a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Spectrum marks Shook's bold evolution expanding his analog synth-funk roots into lush, cinematic territory. This 2014 release includes the breakout track Milestones, which reached global audiences through its feature in Better Call Saul. Rich in dreamy keys, retro-futuristic grooves, and emotional depth, Spectrum solidified Shook's voice as a one-man orchestra of vintage soul and electronic storytelling. System is a retro futuristic album that is inspired by that iconic sound of the 80s. It seamlessly merges deep machine-like tracks alternated with surprisingly humanised pop songs.

With an extended palette of pianos and synthesizers Shook’s work will take you along those vintage funk and synth-pop sounds, while keeping you connected with touchy vocals from both Jasper and his partner Juliet.

LA-based composer/arranger E. Lundquist (aka Eric Borders) returns with ‘Art Between Minds’. Having cut his teeth in the LA hip-hop and beats scene and explored realms of cosmic-funk under previous monikers, E. Lundquist’s music displays a rich tapestry of influences including the cinematic & experimental jazz-infused library music that influenced his previous LP ‘Multiple Images’. Now he is back with another ample helping of his hallucinogenic sonics, utilizing a bevy of vintage gear to replicate that warm glow of ’70s jazz-funk. From the Fender Rhodes MKI to the ARP Odyssey, to the Mellotron, the keys and synths he employs on these tracks display a genuine appreciation for the groove-driven music of The ‘Me” Decade.

The album plays like the score to a cult classic B-movie. The sun-drenched haze of “Soliloquy” could easily be what you hear during the calm before the storm in a Blaxploitation flick and the laidback crawl of “Euphoria” seems ripped right out of a fuzzy ‘70s blue movie. But there is a certain sophistication here, like the way the horn section, slinky guitar, and trippy synths combine on “Escape” to sound like liquid one moment and like a summer breeze the next.

While E. Lundquist’s artistry will eventually take him to new plateaus of sound, where he is right now is undoubtedly a high watermark in his career. He has become a torchbearer for jazz-funk in a new jazz revolution, updating the sub-genre with his delicate balance of digital and analog elements that will easily appeal to fans of Kamaal Williams, Surprise Chef, BADBADNOTGOOD, Khurangbin, Robohands and similar.

More than thirty years after their seismic arrival, the legendary Wu-Tang Clan remains as relevant as
ever, whether inspiring an acclaimed TV series or securing a historic Las Vegas artist residency. With a wealth of talent that may never be duplicated, the group’s impact has been amplified by the solo careers of all nine members. Masta Killa has been an important part of this legacy, with four acclaimed solo albums containing countless Wu classics. Now, in the midst of the last Wu-Tang Clan tour ever, Masta Killa is back with the highly anticipated new album Balance. Executive produced by Wu-Tang mastermind RZA, the collection is vintage New York hip-hop at its finest, with thunderous drums courtesy of beatsmiths like Easy Mo Bee, PF Cuttin, Nick Price, and RZA himself. Lyrically, Killa proves his sword is sharper than ever, sharing wise words alongside a diverse set of guests including Method Man, Snoop Dogg, RZA, Raekwon, N.O.R.E., Cappadonna, AZ, Uncle Murda, and more. “What the world and the musical universe needs now is balance,” Masta Killa explains. Itara is the debut solo album by Paul Pèrrim—guitarist, composer, and anthropologist—featuring a set of guitar-driven compositions that blend hallucinatory acid folk, abstract blues, mutant Eastern jazz, surreal ambient, and free improvi-sation into a vivid and distinctive sonic tapestry.
With a background in ethnomusicology and a degree in Music Education, Pèrrim’s work bridges popular and experi-mental music. He contrasts the acoustic guitar’s austerity with the expansive possibilities of the electric guitar, drawing from late ’60s folk traditions, contemporary fingerstyle, sound collage, drone, psychedelia, and improvisation.
A key figure in the Canary Islands’ experimental scene, he released two albums in the 2010s under The Transistor Arkestra, a Catalan collective merging free jazz and psychedelia. As Transistor Eye, his solo project, he merges ana-log electronics with guitar, using vintage synths and effects.
In 2022, Pèrrim gained wider recognition through his appearance on Manos Ocultas (Philatelia Records) and the in-ternational tribute Solstice: A Tribute to Steffen Basho-Junghans (Obsolete Recordings). That same year, he founded GUITARRACO, a contemporary guitar festival in Tarragona, where he has shared the stage with Joseba Irazoki, Buck Curran, and Raphael Roginski.
Itara will be released in July 2025 via Keroxen. Recorded and produced by Pèrrim, the album features liner notes by critic Bill Meyer, who writes:
“While it’s common to call music cinematic these days, Pèrrim goes split-screen. One might say he composes econo, jamming scenes and sounds to psychedelic effect. But economy does not equate with poverty. Pèrrim draws upon a rich bank of musical notions, all of which he makes his own through the alchemy of recombination and transmutation.”

A2. Dark Horse: Dark Horse: an atmospheric arrangement of phase-y pads reminiscent of the peak Autonomic era, filtered through the abstract lens of artists like Actress or King Britt. The pacing and negative space give the tune a weighty but airy feel, punctuated by heavy toms and documentary-style foley. Soulfully cosmic.

B1. Loop Me: polyrhythmic arpeggios, swirling delays, unstable harmonic structure, and chromatic movement form a tense, shifting progression. Built around a single bell sample, the track is reshaped through layering, modulation, subtle changes in texture, and filtered transitions. A techno stepper.

B2. Geiger Scale: experiments with playful but controlled randomness, minimal structure and off-grid sequencing. The idea centres on a toy synth with loose notes and laidback groove formed of irregular, rhythmic patterns. Geiger Scale perfects restraint as the arrangement bubbles along with sparse melodies. Smokey and potent.

Their debut live album captures this high-energy fusion, reimagining Latin classics with a modern, electrifying twist that honors tradition while pushing boundaries. "On a teaching placement during the pandemic, I found a dusty cupboard above our college theatre holding 200+ library music CDs. Most of the discs were from the Arcadia Cosmos library, a prolific production house active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. I spent the next few weeks working through the discs and found several interesting electronic pieces although, pseudonym or not, I didn't recognise any of the composers involved. Further research kept leading to dead ends with Arcadia's owners having long vacated their last known address and web links either broken or abandoned. So more questions than answers remain about the library's provenance. For instance, who was / is the brilliantly named David Beast? Did Kraftwerk engage trans-european lawyers after hearing Endurance Test? Was Sylvia Sommer deliberately channelling vintage 1960's radiophonics by John Baker? What studio gear was used to create the distinctive Arcadia sound? And, for what appears to have been a UK-based company, why are so many of the album titles, tracks and composer names distinctly Germanic? If anyone has the answers please get in touch." For many italo disco fans, Dyva is nothing short of a mythical name. A cult act surrounded by mystery, legend, and endless debates fueled by pure passion. And it all started with their iconic track “Oh Mama Tonight”, which, adding fuel to the fire, was released only as a promo single. That rare Boot Legs vinyl became the holy grail for collectors, a lifelong hunt for true italo enthusiasts.

After just three official releases (the last one in 1990), Dyva seemingly vanished from the face of the earth… Until the early 2000s, when Finnish italo aficionado Kimmo Salo tracked them down in Sestri Levante, Italy. That unexpected meeting sparked a brand-new chapter, both for Kimmo’s soon-to-be-born label Flashback Records and for Dyva’s founding members Roberto Calzolari & Massimo Traversoni. Encouraged by Kimmo, the duo returned to the studio to bring back to life not only their long-lost 80s demos but also fresh new material.

This album is a true time capsule, covering the period between 1986 and 2024, featuring never-before-released single versions, true gems. For any die-hard Dyva fan, this is nothing less than an essential addition to the collection.

Produced in the vibrant heart of Marseilles, France, Extrême Intensité is a raw, unapologetic salute to UK rave, early dubstep, electro, and acid - the sounds that make your head spin and your jaw shake. Yan describes the project as “probably the most heavy and ‘brainless’ (in the best way) bunch of tracks I’ve ever created; the most UK sounding too.”

This new EP was produced in Yan’s home studio in Marseilles in March 2025, amidst a fierce USBJ digging craze and emerged as a most welcome breath of fresh air as he was immersed in the production process of another, more sombre, project. It’s packing hallmark breakbeats, gritty samples, and vintage Roland synths, all wrapped up in a playful, confident package designed to obliterate the dancefloor.

And to cap things off, Mr Ho, one of the current scene’s biggest producers and close friend of the label, has delivered a dark and warehousey remix that’s guaranteed to keep dance floors ablaze. As a big fan of his, we’re buzzing to finally land him on Deadbeat.

Jordan Passmore, an electronic music and sound producer based in Indianapolis, USA, has spent two decades crafting original songs, remixes, and live performances. His work is characterized by the use of both vintage and modern synthesizers and drum machines, creating a unique blend of house, wave, techno, and more.

Over the years, he’s been known for producing finely textured tracks that nod to early electronic traditions while pushing into new terrain.

In his latest release, KEEP IT E.P., Passmore continues to push the boundaries of his sound. This EP features a variety of tracks that range from acid techno to mellow new wave, showcasing his ability to intertwine different genres seamlessly. Each song presents a distinct mood and pacing, reflecting a more experimental approach compared to his previous works.

The EP is a kaleidoscope of styles and moods—an interplay of acid techno grit, minimal wave introspection, and rhythm-driven synthscapes. Celebrated Blues artist Patrick Sweany returns with his much-anticipated new record Baby, It’s Late.

Utilizing ace players from two of his Nashville side-projects (the 50s/60s era Blues combo Tiger Beats, and the Soul/Funk quartet Super Felon), Baby, It's Late is a pastiche of Sweany's wide-ranging influences and history, incorporating Classic Rock, Soul, Country and, of course, a massive dose of vintage Blues.

Sweany produced the record himself - a first in his storied career.

Am 3. Februar 2023 veröffentlichten DeWolff ihr Erfolgsalbum 'Love, Death & In Between. Nun erscheint das Album in einer Vinyl-Neuauflage im limitierten Green Marble Look.
Aufgenommen wurde das Album im Kerwax Studio in einem keinen Dorf in der Bretagne.
„Wir dachten damals, lass uns auf ein Abenteuer gehen“, sagt Pablo. Im Nordwesten Frankreichs gelegen und von Wäldern umgeben, zogen sie sich für zwei Wochen in das Wohnstudio zurück, umgeben von Vintage-Aufnahmegeräten aus den 1940er bis 1970er Jahren.

Die Brüder Pablo (Gitarre/Gesang) und Luka van de Poel (Schlagzeug/Gesang) sowie Robin Piso (Hammond/Wurlitzer) nahmen live und ohne Overdubs auf und wurden bei den Aufnahmen von einer Reihe von Freunden unterstützt.
