Auch wenn sich Sofie von der Lo-Fi-Produzentin zur ernstzunehmenden Popmusikerin gewandelt hat - die bereits als Support-Act für Lana Del Rey, Air und LCD Soundsystem auftrat -, fühlt sie sich nach wie vor nirgendwo so recht zugehörig. Sie nimmt bei ihrer Kritik an der Musikbranche kein Blatt vor den Mund - "Ich bin zu sehr Pop für die Kunstwelt und zu sehr Indie-Liebling für den Mainstream" -, doch am härtesten geht sie mit sich selbst ins Gericht. After making waves in the underground with their first release, psychedelic techno explorations from Winkles, A Sky Full Of Numbers head to the shoreline with a five tracker of misty electronica from Japan’s The Rituals, the new collaboration between Tasoko and DOLTZ. Across acclaimed releases on Explore, Bitta, and Delsin, the duo have separately explored deep techno, ambient, acid house and IDM, showcasing innovative sound design and spacious, understated grooves. For AFSON, the duo apply their unique point of view at a lower tempo, pulling away from the peak time to deliver a shadowy journey through dewy electronics.
Opening transmission 503M feels like tuning into a damaged frequency somewhere beyond the cloud line. Misty lead synths slither through blown circuitry while buzzing sequences and short-circuiting percussion crackle against purring bass pressure below.
There’s an eerie electricity in the atmosphere, as if the track’s been exposed to too much heat and left glowing softly in the dark. From the opening bars, The Rituals instantly establish their ability to make techno feel both mechanical and hallucinatory.
Ugan sees the duo descend deeper into the haze. Reverb-drenched synth motifs hover like distant lights through thick fog while a propulsive dub bassline locks into loose electro-funk rhythms beneath. There are echoes of hauntological electronics and early IDM experiments here, but The Rituals avoid nostalgia entirely, steering the track instead towards something crepuscular and alive.
Stepping out of the shadows, Broken Frog Lamp pushes forward on a rolling rhythmic framework as melodies slowly force their way through layers of sea mist and static interference. Atmospheric without losing momentum, the track balances submerged emotional weight with hypnotic forward motion.
The mood softens but never dissipates on Salty Air, a damp and dewy excursion into dubbed-out psychedelia. Rainfall ambience, skittering stone percussion and swelling pads fold around sliding sub bass and filtered stabs, while jazzy cymbals and syncopated hats gently pull the track forward, as the condensation clings to the hardware.
Closing cut “Night, Castle, Reflection” drifts into darker territories, where redlining drums and pulsing low-end pressure throb beneath thick layers of saturated texture. Woozy synth work smears against tightly controlled rhythms, creating an immersive and slightly uneasy atmosphere that closes the EP at its most introspective point.
Taken as a whole, the EP transports you into the midnight hour, when the comforting embrace of stillness can easily nudge you towards hallucination, dissolving the boundaries between dream state and dancefloor hypnosis.

Landing on the 4th of September via his own imprint Knee Deep In Sound, ‘Obsessions’ is less a traditional dance record and more a reckoning — with where Daley Padley finds himself now, as an artist and as a person. That sense of release runs through the entire record. While rooted in house music, Obsessions doesn’t sit in one place for long — not to prove a point, but because that’s simply how Padley hears music. It moves between deep house, breakbeat, melodic electronica and full club focus as naturally as a conversation shifts tone. Moments of euphoria give way to reflection and tensions dissolves into release.

The album opens with ‘All That Matters’ — a track that feels immediately both expansive and intimate and sets the emotional register for everything that follows. From there it unfolds like a journey rather than a sequence.

Lead single ‘Shaded’, landing on the 12th June taps directly into classic house lineage while feeling unmistakably current — a bridge between where this music began and where it’s heading. Elsewhere, ‘Life’s Too Short’ and ‘Eternity’ introduce warmth and movement, weaving piano, breakbeat and subtle Afro influences into the album’s wider palette.

As the record progresses, the light changes. ‘Wow’ leans into darker, late-night territory — tension, restraint, a hypnotic centre. The collaborations with Kuuda on ‘State Of Mind’ and ‘Time’ bring the album back into full club focus: driving, physical, built for scale.

For any other artist, an album like Asher White’s Love Aggregates might come out of a conscious push to treat no idea as off-limits, to make something bold and new. Jubilant art-funk about cocaine addiction—absolutely. Swooning orchestral pop about Jerry Garcia—why not? Rippling electronic noise, jazzy brushed drums, an elderly motorcyclist with dementia, a profoundly emotional bass solo—put them all in one song. There are threadbare folk tunes, glammed-up power-pop bangers, “Sir Duke” horn charts, Morton Feldman string arrangements, layers of guitar feedback like violins made of liquid chrome. Yes, for another artist, Love Aggregates might be the most adventurous album in their catalog. For Asher White, it’s what passes for settling down.

White is 25 years old and has been making records—writing, recording, producing, and playing almost everything herself—for over a decade. She’d released two dozen of them on Bandcamp before catching the indie-rock industry’s attention with 2024’s Home Constellation Study and last year’s 8 Tips for Full Catastrophe Living. The latter album’s dizzy eclecticism and formidable craft landed her on Rolling Stone’s Future 25 list with the likes of xaviersobased and Oklou, along with a slew of other accolades. That came as something of a surprise to White, who didn’t craft the chaotic 8 Tips with a breakthrough in mind. Love Aggregates feels like a chance, for one of the most thrilling musical talents of her generation, at a more deliberate introduction.

She wrote and recorded her new album while her previous one was gathering
momentum, tinkering in the DIY recording studio where she always works, acutely conscious now that people would be listening to whatever she came up with. At around the same time, her years-long romantic relationship ended in a flurry of betrayal and addiction, her first experience of devastating heartbreak. Even so, Love Aggregates is not a bitter album about wallowing or seething, but instead making use of those impulses as raw materials in work that transcends the specificity of its origins, fashioning them into something surprising and new.

Released in 1991, the Cramps’ “Look Mom No Head!” is a stone-cold classic.

Aufgenommen wurde es nahezu vollständig vom Kerntrio der Band: Schlagzeuger Murph, Bassist und Sänger Lou Barlow sowie Gitarrist und Sänger J Mascis. Unterstützung kam lediglich durch einige Piano- und Orgelparts von Ken Mauri. Das Ergebnis entfaltet von Anfang bis Ende eine enorme Wucht. Der Gitarrensound von Mascis klingt auf "There Near" noch ursprünglicher und animalischer als gewohnt, was möglicherweise auch an einem kürzlich erworbenen Mesa Boogie MK 1 Verstärker aus den 1970er Jahren liegt. "Ich habe denselben Verstärker gekauft, den Chris Dixon hatte, als wir unser erstes Album aufgenommen haben", erklärt Mascis. "Chris hat uns damals bei sich zu Hause mit genau diesem Amp aufgenommen. Er hat einen wirklich interessanten Klang, den ich schon lange nicht mehr hinbekommen habe. Genau zu diesem Sound wollte ich auf diesem Album zurück. Die ROLLING STONES begannen in den 70ern Mesa Boogies zu benutzen, nachdem sie SANTANA damit gehört hatten. Danach machten es THE CLASH nach und so weiter. Mit den späteren Modellen wurde der Sound zunehmend Metal-lastiger. Aber der MK 1 klingt wie ein aufgemotzter Fender. Man hört immer wieder, dass Rick Rubin Bands dazu bringt, ihr erstes Album zu hören und zu sagen: Lasst uns wieder zu diesem Sound zurückkehren. Also habe ich mir seinen Rat einfach selbst gegeben." Für die meisten ein Rätsel - Darondo-Platten stehen bei vielen Sammlern ganz oben auf der Wunschliste. Andere Musiker aus der Bay Area sprechen mit gedämpfter Stimme über ihn. Früher sah man ihn in einem weißen Rolls-Royce (mit dem Nummernschild ,Darondo") durch die Stadt cruisen. Er trat als Vorgruppe für James Brown auf und führte ein schillerndes Leben, in dem er mit Leuten wie dem berüchtigten Fillmore Slim abhing. Hör dir diese Titel an, die zum ersten Mal gemeinsam auf einem Album veröffentlicht wurden, und du wirst vielleicht zustimmen, dass er der nächste Al Green oder Sly Stone hätte sein können. Doch vor etwa 25 Jahren verschwand Darondo.

What is Buck? Buck is a state of mind, a way of life, a demeanor that gets you through the good times and the bad. If you ask Brainstory, It is also the energy that permeates their debut album. Kevin, Tony, and Eric are a trio of brothers bounded by blood, fate, and a small town with nothing to do. Their story begins in the long lost lands of the San Bernardino Valley, in the twilight zone known as Rialto, California: An arid wasteland of boredom and empty lots. Through punk rock and skateboarding they found temporary liberation from the local monotony. However, it wouldn't be long before a hunger for more led them to explore musical realms beyond that of the hardcore punk they admired. After stints at music school and steady disappointment trying to navigate their local jazz scene they moved to Los Angeles and Brainstory was born. Highlights include the sublime slow burner, "Dead End" which was the A-side to their first 45 on Big Crown that sold out in a matter of days. With Kevin's sublime falsetto floating atop Tony and Eric's unflappable and unmistakable backbeat, this tune has become a favorite with the ballad heads, the low-riders, and the slowie collectors. "Breathe" showcases another side of their sound taking a page out of the Shuggie Otis playbook and flipping the script with some stoned out west coast swag. Kev and Tony's father, Big Tone, an accomplished performer himself, steps in on "Peter Pan" to sing lead vocals over a chorus of friends and family. Bassist extraordinaire, Tony, takes over lead vocal duties on "Sorry", a smoked out, G Funk groove that is just waiting to be sampled. These guys have come a long way from their self released EPs and opening tours with Chicano Batman. Their musical growth is undeniable, and taking their California sunshine vibes and mixing them with Michels' NYC aesthetic has proven to be an amazing combination. It's a debut record that pulls influences from so many genres seamlessly it's hard to nail down. Call it Funk, call it Rock, call it Soul, but over here at Big Crown HQ, we've decided to call it BUCK.

Die farbige Vinyl-LP „Master Of The Skies Limited Neon Yellow Vinyl Edition“ von The Quill ist bei Metalville erschienen und vereint die neuen Studioaufnahmen des schwedischen Veteranen-Quartetts. Die LP enthält zehn Tracks mit einer Spielzeit von rund 45 Minuten. Der Titeltrack ist in einer Extended Version und als Reprise enthalten, während das epische Stück „Mastodon“ mit über neun Minuten Spielzeit viel Raum für ausgedehnte Riffpassagen bietet.

Musikalisch bewegt sich The Quill zwischen druckvollem Hard Rock und Stoner-Rock-Elementen, wobei Groove, Schwere und Melodie stets eng miteinander verwoben sind. Auf dem Album setzt die Band auf dunklere, dichtere Klangfarben als auf früheren Veröffentlichungen. Candlemass was formed by bassist & songwriter Leif Edling in Stockholm, Sweden in 1984. Well known for their epic doom metal & continuing their legacy as genre leaders to this day, Candlemass has influenced a generation of the genre’s subsequent greats from My Dying Bride to Paradise Lost - Candlemass themselves taking a large influence from Black Sabbath.

‘Dactylis Glomerata’ was a come-back album of sorts, originally released in 1998, after the band had temporarily been laid to rest after the ‘Chapter VI’ album.

‘Dactylis…’ was an album of more stripped down dirty doom rock, with solid songwriting on display, evoking what some described as a strong stoner vibe, along with some hard rock elements. This was in contrast to the more epic heavy metal inspired compositions from previous albums, which the band were more known for. Having stood the test of time incredibly well, ’Dactylis Glomerata’ is a gem in the band’s rich history spanning four decades.

The album notably also features guitars by Michael Amott of Arch Enemy (ex-Carcass), & also a guest appearance by Ian Haugland from Europe.

Purple Vinyl, limited to 200 copies. A Life Less Plagued, originally released in 2001, is a seminal release in modern hardcore by the California straight-edge band Carry On. Recorded at Godcity Studios by Converge's Kurt Ballou and clocking in at just under 20 minutes across 12 tracks, the album delivers unrelenting intensity, frantic tempos, and cathartic vocals. The album not only became a blueprint for the 2000s "West Coast Hardcore" movement, but was also the first proper full-length album put out by Bridge Nine Records. Carry On didn't live on much longer after their full-length album debut, but it became a definitive release for the label (and California hardcore) as each member went on to form the next wave of West Coast hardcore bands (such as Terror, Piece By Piece, Betrayed, Internal Affairs, and many more). Long out of print by the album's 10th anniversary, its legacy was further set in stone with a 2011 re-issue. Now Carry On is back playing a handful of shows over the 2026 summer and we've got another re-issue on deck. This is a record frequently cited by hardcore veterans and modern musicians as the absolute mold for 2000s American hardcore, so be sure to grab it if you don't have one in your collection yet.

The album closes out with the completely improvised Universal Suite, a 17-minute excursion which begins with a cinematic opening reminiscent of electric Miles at his most introspective before taking flight on passages of hard-driving Latin percussion, shimmering fusion and gritty funk. Radio Retaliation is the fifth studio album by Thievery Corporation, originally released in 2008. Original Gravity Records returns with a fresh take on one of the most enduring songs in Jamaican music as Donnoya Drake breathes new life into "You Don't Love Me (No No No)."

The song's remarkable journey begins with Bo Diddley's 1955 recording "She's Fine, She's Mine," before evolving into Willie Cobbs' blues classic "You Don't Love Me." It was then embraced in Jamaica, where it became a foundation stone of the island's musical heritage through Dawn Penn's original Studio One recording.

Rather than recreating any single version, Donnoya Drake's recording draws together the defining moments in the song's evolution. The unmistakable Bo Diddley-inspired riff, popularised by Willie Cobbs, is reimagined by the horn section, while the middle eight pays tribute to Dawn Penn's original Jamaican arrangement. The result is an infectious ska recording that honours every chapter of the song's evolution while bringing a fresh energy of its own.

On the flip, Prince Alphonso & The Fever present "You Don't Love Me Pt.2", an instrumental version that proved far too good to keep in the vault. Stripping away the vocals allows the arrangement to shine in its own right, creating the kind of infectious ska instrumental that selectors and DJs are always searching for.

Produced by Original Gravity Records founder Neil Anderson, the single continues the label's tradition of creating new recordings inspired by the golden era of Jamaican music—not as museum pieces, but as vibrant records made for today's dancefloors. Respectful of the past while unmistakably original, this is another release that bridges the gap between vintage authenticity and fresh interpretation.

Within the broad church of metal and its many offshoots – rock, doom, stoner and all the rest – it remains a minor thrill to stumble across a group who seem to exist at a slight tangent to everything else. Crumbling Ghost is one such anomaly. Crumbling Ghost are not newcomers. They've been operating for some time, releasing records sporadically, Four' is in fact their fourth release. Along the way they've accumulated a fervent coterie of followers, not to mention the occasional nod of approval from tastemakers such as Stuart Maconie, Stewart Lee and Tom Ravenscroft. And though they've appeared at Roadburn, shared stages with Hawkwind and even Damo Suzuki, they remain (possibly by design) curiously under the radar.
The group's core idea is deceptively simple: traditional folk material refracted through the haze and heft of heavy, fuzzy stoner rock with a chunk of psyche and a smattering of doom. But crucially, this is done without the costumery and theatrical tics that often accompany such collisions. No mock pagan pageantry, no graveyard cosplay, no cartoon Satanism.
What Crumbling Ghost latch onto is not folk as a museum piece, but as a lived experience, the dramas rooted in the culture, stories, and daily lives of ordinary people, the folklore, the tales of love and death, murder and adultery, freedom and oppression. Singer Katie Harnett says. "Doting mothers, possessive, violent partners, vulnerable women, seasonal workers and Royal scandals this album is our representation of the trials and tribulations of human existence and universal experiences that still feel relevant today.

Guitarist John adds. "Themes of murder, betrayal, loss, jealousy, and love are found across the record. In particular, the songs of Martin Carthy have been a particular source of inspiration".
The result is a set of murder ballads, supernatural reckonings and cautionary tales, all wrapped in slabs of heavy, thumping fuzz and atmospheric sonics. Harnett's voice sits at the centre: unmistakably folk rooted, but shorn of prettification, melodic yet capable of real bite.

The album opener 'Bows Of London' is a murder ballad of sisterly hatred and grim sibling rivalry, centred on a haunted fiddle fashioned from a dead sister's bones. The loping relentless, hypnotic backing chillingly and perfectly accompanies the narrative. Of course, the story doesn't end well. 'Bill Norrie' follows, a hooky melody propelled by an insistent bassline and a haunting psych tinged haze punctured with sheets of noise.. The story of young Bill Norrie who sends a token to a married woman, whose jealous husband beheads him, without knowing he was his wife's son from an earlier affair. An instrumental palate cleanser arrives in the shape of 'Valtz Efter Tor Lohne' a Norwegian traditional the band jokingly describe as a "banger".
Then we have 'Lovely Joan' which offers a rare note of sly triumph: a quick witted woman outmanoeuvres a predatory nobleman, escaping with his ring and his horse. Muscular riffs give this tale of empowerment a welcome sense of teeth. 'Gower Wassail' is a traditional Welsh folk tune that captures the raucous spirit of communal ritual, noise making and drink fuelled hope for a good harvest. Captured perfectly here by CG complete with wah wah guitar and a drunken groove catching the song's celebratory chaos. Then we have a little gem in 'Last Of All Sleep' , an original band composition and a genuine highlight: a heavy lidded, shoegaze tinged folk reverie, equal parts distortion and delicacy. It's a drop-dead gorgeous shoegaze-tastic psychedelic grunge mini epic. The album closer 'The Unquiet Grave' is a very apt place to finish. It's about a young man whose constant grief at the death of his true love disturbs her eternal sleep so she cannot rest. Even though the playout on this track, complete with a demonic repeated riff and feedback feels suitably bleak, even this song allows a glimmer of release ... we think.
And there we have it, 7 songs, 7 worlds, all honed to perfection by producer Wayne Adams (Green Lung/Big Lad) that will reward every repeated listen.

Folk and metal/heavy rock do have a connection of course, just look at Green Lung and their 'folk horror' infused musical universe, but Crumbling Ghost are a very different beast.
'Four' amply and beautifully demonstrates that when it comes to 'folk horror' there's nothing quite as horrible as folk ... Here, the horror such as it is, and it must be said, the moments of light, comes not from theatrics, but from the songs themselves – which, after all, is where it's always lived.

First ever commercial / retail release of debut album by acclaimed rap duo Infinity Knives & Brian Ennals. Follows their beloved two albums King Cobra and A City Drowned in God's Black Tears, which have received glowing press from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, the BBC, Anthony Fantano, Spin, Loud & Quiet and many many more.

In 1993 the French funk rock collective FFF (short for Fédération Française de Fonck) followed up their debut album with Free For Fever. The band went to the UK to record the album. This time there was significantly more rock and metal influenced compared to its predecessor, but the funk (or rather, the Fonck) is still ever present.

For production they got help from Mark Wallis who worked with Talking Heads, R.E.M. and The Smiths. Especially in France the album was a great success.

After being out of print for over a decade, Free For Fever is finally back on vinyl, as a limited edition of 1000 copies on white vinyl, Included in the package is a 4-page booklet.

In the early 1960s, beat groups from the Dutch Randstad dominated the national charts. Yet far from the big cities, in the clubs of Drenthe, one band was already being billed as “Beatgroup Number One”: Cuby + Blizzards. But frontman Harry Muskee never embraced that label. Raised on broadcasts from The Voice of America, he possessed a deeper understanding of the blues than most of his contemporaries. Muskee didn’t want to sing ‘songs,’ as he called them, he wanted to sing the blues, raw and unfiltered, in the tradition of Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters.

Their debut single “Stumble & Fall” was recorded in the Bavohuis, a simple gym hall in Amsterdam, with Addy Kleingeld as producer. But the debut album Desolation marked a turning point, recorded at the Phonogram Studios in Hilversum with renowned blues producer Tony Vos, it captured the band exactly as Muskee intended.

The resulting album became a jewel of Dutch music history. Never before had the Netherlands heard a blues singer who poured his emotions into a recording with such conviction and authenticity. Muskee even outshone his British peers. Eric Burdon (The Animals), Paul Jones (Manfred Mann), Mick Jagger (The Rolling Stones) and Van Morrison (Them).

At the 1968 Grand Gala du Disque (the Dutch equivalent of the Grammys), Muskee received an Edison Award for Desolation, handed to him by cabaret artist Wim Sonneveld, whose lukewarm speech couldn’t diminish the significance of the moment.

Sixty years later, the legacy of this groundbreaking album still resonates, an essential document of European blues and a defining moment in the story of Cuby + Blizzards.

This 60th anniversary edition of Desolation is now available as an expanded 2LP-set including the original 1966 album plus fifteen bonus tracks. The gatefold version features songs “Things I Remember”, “Stumble & Fall”, “L.S.D. (Got A Million Dollars)”, is a limited edition on blue vinyl and includes new liner notes by Dutch Blues authority Johan Derksen.

A new collaborative project between Neil Jones (lead singer of Stone Foundation) and Nick Corbin (founder of New Street Adventure), bringing together two of the UK soul scene’s most distinctive voices and songwriters. The project also features legendary keyboardist Mick Talbot (The Style Council) and bassist Ernie McKone (Galliano / The Brand New Heavies), creating a band rooted deeply in British soul tradition while pushing the sound somewhere fresh.

The seeds of the collaboration were sown during the Covid-19 lockdown, when Jones and Corbin joined forces for a marathon live-stream performance that quickly gathered momentum online. The result is Silent Stream — an album steeped in soulful songwriting, rich musicianship and understated groove. The lead single captures that spirit perfectly: warm, reflective and melodic, built around classic soul textures, Hammond organ, and a rhythm section that breathes with the ease of seasoned players. For fans of contemporary British soul with classic influences, the track sits comfortably alongside artists like Paul Weller, Michael Kiwanuka and the wider Acid Jazz / modern soul movement.

It’s a meeting of kindred musical spirits — born in lockdown, but very much built for the long road ahead.

Edena Gardens unleash their most expansive work to date. Quintessence is structured in 4 parts as a Magnum Opus—the ancient alchemical process of transformation. But this is not a work of high fantasy. It is a seismic meditation. A study of deep time, weighted matter, and the crushing gravity of change. Quintessence is massive. 79+ minutes of tethered magnitude, carved into six sprawling tracks. The trio pushes further down into the void, discovering new dimensions. Each piece allow the form to stretch. To break its own boundaries. Shifting terrains and unpredictable geometry. The core remains unhurried: A slow, relentless, unabridged crawl. This sort of alchemy demands patience, allowing every sonic mutation to breathe, shift, and solidify in a new atmosphere.

Recorded by Jonas Munk (Causa Sui), the sound is rooted in a natural, anchored production, as if the band is right in front of you: Causa Sui drummer Jakob Skøtt drives the pulse and adds ghostly, sparse treatment to the mix. Nicklas Sørensen (Papir) weaves angular guitar geometry over the deep sediment of Martin Rude’s bass and baritone strings. Martin also supplies the original artwork, spreading across 4 panels (one for each vinyl side), coloured by Jakob Skøtt: A work in its own right. The final work is a massive, physical expanse: Their Quintessence.

Coyote are back with another typically carefully curated collection of Baleraic re-edits and revisions via the reliable (and hush-hush) Magic Wand imprint. The Nottingham twosome kick things off themselves with 'Carpenter', a dubby and bass-heavy extension of a dreamy, folksy number (all jangling acoustic guitar, stoned male lead vocals and gentle hand percussion), before we're treated to the 'Pointless edit' of 'Six Blade Scalpel' - a languid, bass-heavy revision of a late 70s blues/soft-rock number crafted by Bedmo Disco's Sell By Dave. There's an Americana/neo-folk feel to Andy Kidd's sublime extension of Dan England's 'I Don't Feel That Way', while YZ's edit of 'Sapelo' is a horizontal, Rhodes-laden, spoken word-sporting ambient delight.

The Way I See It puts Raphael Saadiq's love of 60s soul on full display, with Saadiq stating it was "the culmination of a lifetime of experiences informed by the music I grew up on." Recorded on vintage equipment, the set features Motown session musicians, guest appearances from neo-soul singer Joss Stone, R&B vocalist CJ Hilton, New Orleans collective The Rebirth Brass Band, a remixed bonus track from Jay-Z, and even a guest appearance by Stevie Wonder. Throughout the recording process Saadiq immersed himself in the aesthetics and styles of the decade, watching footage of Al Green, The Four Tops, Gladys Knight & The Pops, and others for further inspiration. The end result is an upbeat collection of songs, ranging from the romantic to the mournful, but frequently beaming with hope and positivity. The Way I See It racked up Grammy nominations for Best R&B Album, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. To this day it is considered one of the essential records of the classic soul revival, and one of Saadiq's finest career achievements.
