3024 is excited to announce "Panta Rei", the long-awaited debut album by London-based, Italian artist Ehua. This album, which comprises a collection of songs crafted over the span of a year and a half, is not just an exploration through sound but also a significant milestone in Ehua's personal and artistic development. For the first time, she explores her vocal expression while also incorporating a range of percussive and other analog and acoustic instruments, resulting in a distinctive set traversing various corners of the bass music continuum.

Accompanied by unique artwork created out of concrete by Jeroen Erosie, a booklet with background and photography and a short eponymous film, 'Panta Rei' represents an intricate 'gesamtkunstwerk'. An exciting blend of various media with contributions from a range of artists, of course all centered around Ehua's beautiful and intimate music.

"Panta Rei" will be released in May, available on vinyl, as well as digitally and in booklet format. 3024 X Planet Wax are hosting a launch event on April 24th in South London.

Zoe Heselton is a British-born poet and musician based in Strasbourg, France. Alone with her Telecaster guitar, she channels her multiple and influences into flamenco-folk-blues fingerpicking techniques, carrying her voice into the strings as she spits out rhymes about change and desire. For this first album, she gathered her beloved and talented friendships around her to sing from places of tenderness and anger, balancing melodies with the band's arrangements and dissonance. Since her songs are stories, spells, poems and prayers, there additional personalities give a crafted power to regenerate from the limbs, surrounded by caretaking souls and generous love-spreading hearts. When we last heard from Southern California's rock n' roll sorcerers Death Valley Girls, band orchestrator and mastermind Bonnie Bloomgarden was summoning the element of water and celebrating its tempestuous power on the triumphant 2023 single "I Am a Wave." Surrounded by a new cast of supporting musicians, Bloomgarden returns from a brief hiatus to pay homage to the magic of celestial bodies and to honor yet another classical element on a new two-song single. The Arockalypse is the third studio album by Finnish rock band Lordi. It includes the hit single "Hard Rock Hallelujah", which won the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 for Finland. The album was certified with a triple Platinum status in Finland, Gold in Germany, and Sweden. It reached the number one chart position in Finland, Sweden, and Greece. Taba voices a subtle yet surprising shift for the Japanese musician and producer Satomimagae. Observing and absorbing the fleeting scenes and sounds of life flowing outside of her home studio, Taba unfolds as a series of vignettes that document the personal and the universal. Satomi sings beyond herself in an orbit of souls and systems known and unknown, seen and unseen, in the present and in the strange flux of memory, leaving linear songwriting to rest for circuitous stories expanded and expansive in tone and texture. Following the logic of taba, a Japanese term for a bunch, bundle or grouping together of different things, the album is assembled as a loose collection of short stories. Shapeshifting into something like a poet-narrator, Satomi casts her writer's eye to the often perplexing shapes that form from quotidian events and exchanges defining our increasingly alienated age. Where Satomi's last full-length, 2021's Hanazono, bloomed from the lush soil of a private inner sphere, the bird's eye of Taba searches to place the artist_somewhere, somehow_within a wider, wilder world. Collaborations with other artists and musicians close to Satomi's universe further elevate the album's sweeping sonics. Synthesizer lines from Norio, who also helps define the album's visual identity through photo and video, enliven the tender ballad "Kodama." The bell-like Rhodes piano ringing in and around Satomi's guitar on "Dottsu" is played by Akhira Sano, who created the cover art for her 2021 Colloid EP. Yuya Shito's clarinet was the missing puzzle piece that completed "Spells," and it was also Yuya who mixed Taba with an ear for its organic textures and elegantly frayed edges, giving utterance to a distinctly different energy than Satomi's earlier expressions. The tonal and rhythmic play that lay the foundation of these songs also animates a colorful palette of melodic gestures, noisy resonances and pointed moments captured by Satomi's close-at-hand recorder. While Taba is still carried by the innate intimacy that has defined Satomi's music to date, these songs channel her newly spacious and inquisitive songwriting approach, unlocking unusual layers in the process. Some are subsumed in the speculative poetics of sound design, while others peer through the window of bedroom pop. Gathering imagistic reflections, tracing vast ideations and quietly lingering in humble moments, Taba connects vivid lines between the individual and the collective, the constructed and the cosmic, the articulated and the felt. Satomi's sonic tales gain an eloquent coherence by the simple fact of existing in conversation, humming a harmony of parts that buzzes with the tangled circuitry of a life in motion. Following the launch of his solo career in 1988, “Moz” would spend the next 10 years composing and releasing six studio albums and a string of hit singles before going on a brief recording hiatus. On November 6, 2001, THE BEST OF MORRISSEY, a collection that brought together his most memorable work as a solo artist up to that point which was originally released on CD in North America only. In celebration of Morrissey’s career, we will revisit that classic compilation this year by releasing it, for the first time ever, on vinyl. THE BEST OF MORRISSEY will be available on 30th August as a black double-LP.



All the other studio albums the singer released between 1988 and 1997 are represented on THE BEST OF MORRISSEY with “Sing Your Life” from Kill Uncle (1991), “Do Your Best And Don’t Worry” from Southpaw Grammar (1995) and “Alma Matters” from Maladjusted (1997). Grandmas House release their second EP "Anything For You" via Duchess Box Records on 11th April 2025. "Anything For You" gives rare energy with songs about sacrifice, love, lost and .won. The punk rock group from Bristol, UK, have bave performed at on the BBC Music Introducing Stage at Reading Festival 2023 and played as support on tour for acts such as The Breeders and Idles had a song from their debut EP synched on Apple TV's Bad Sisters which helped start their hype.

Lascelles Perkins was one of the first stars of the Jamaican music scene. Studio One's leading balladeer and one of the most underrated singers from that time. Lascelles Perkins sang sentimental ballads and he scored massive local hits for Coxsone Dodd's Studio One label. Songs like 'Lonely Moments' and 'Together Forever' other big hits followed 'The Mighty Organ' song as a duet with Hortense Ellis, Alton Ellis' sister, 'Destiny' and a whole catalogue of standards or foreign songs as they were called. Lascelles could sing any song, make it seem effortless and at the same time address it in his own unique style.

Lascelles Perkins was present at the birth of Studio One, at the initial sessions carried out in 1959 alongside the other big singers of the day, Alton Ellis and Basil Gabbidone. The session took place at Federal Studios and as was the method of recording at the time, the studio would have one mic hanging down in the middle of the room. The singer would be nearest to the mic and the musicians, depending on how loud their instrument was, would place themselves accordingly in the room. Everything was one take or you would have to record the whole song again. The singers and the musicians would have to be at the top of their game and would be paid for each side they cut. Doing things over would mean less songs finished, time and money was tight but this discipline made the great records we know today.

We have captured Mr Perkins on some lost tapes from producer Bunny Lee's archive that capture Lascelles singing some of the big Studio One hits of the day.

Toulouse appears to be a proper soundsystem town, a real Dub and Bass music hot spot. We were happy to get in touch with with Stefan Dubs from the former Folklore crew, running a handmade soundsystem with up to 6 full super scoops. He released several records under Folklore and later Maquis Son SistÈm, started a liveact which meanwhile runs under SÚn Du MaquÌs, organises soundsystem gatherings and raves around town with the ComitÈ Des FÍtes collective.

Luckily we were able to invite Jan Loup and him to Leipzig in 2023 to shake Bassmaessage with their soundsystem, including the amazing multi-track tape into vintage FX & mixing desk performance. If you ever have the chance to catch them live, you'll hear a special vividly rooted analogue sound, incorporating modern influences, covering various BPM from 120 to 170, but definitely bass heavy all along!

Irie skanks keep you floating along "Mogale Stepper", which shows SÚn's warm but forward bass abilities and the knowledge to keep it steppy without any militant aggressive kicks. "Puur Dub" has a the same instant reminiscence of digital reggae skanking, but adding a brilliant layer of Think break incarnations on top - killing advanced sub connoisseur meetings with ease. On the first check this plate may appear a bit different from the label's cutalogue, but if you settle in these lush textures and twisted dubs you'll see: this is a definitive 45seven sound!

Released in early 1976, the title track of Bad Company's third album Run With The Pack is, what one critic described as, "a male-bonding type of song" that frontman Paul Rodgers was inspired to write about the group's non-stop touring adventures.

"Run With The Pack" is notable for its string arrangement, which Rodgers said he had in mind from the outset. "I wrote that song on the piano, and when I played it to the guys they fell right in. In my head, strings were always part of the song."

The album was recorded in France using the Rolling Stones Mobile Truck in September 1975 with engineer Ron Nevison, and mixed in Los Angeles by Eddie Kramer.

The Run With The Pack album reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and No. 4 on the U.K. chart. It was also Bad Company's third consecutive platinum-selling album.

Grimm Grimm's new release, Untitled II (2025), is a distinctive sound collage/mixtape that blends grainy cassette recordings with demo tracks from a 4-channel recorder. The original release, limited to only 30 copies, included a cassette tape, a pillow cover, and a bundle of sleeping pills. Sold exclusively at the London record shop Atlantis Records, it sold out instantly and has become a rare, sought-after collector's item. The album features guest contributions from contemporary artist Naima Karlsson and Colorado-based singer-songwriter Josephine Foster.

Horace Silver had been delivering hard bop classics for over a decade when he moved into more groovy territory in the late-’60s on albums including Serenade to a Soul Sisterfeaturing two different quintets performing a set of Silver originals from the high-octane ‘Psychedelic Sally’ to the groove waltz title track to the tender ballad ‘Next Time I Fall In Love’. It is issued here under license from Jones, aka the original singer and composer of Stop That Train with the Spanish Town Skabeats aka The Spanishtonians. Making the move from JA to NYC in the early 1970s he established and ran the state-side Flames label, nursing it into a key imprint in Brooklyn's reggae scene from the mid-1970s until the early 1990s. This in-demand roots cut features a stellar horn section in combination with urgent, soul-inflected vocals from Glen Hutchinson. Backed with a killer stripped-back dub.

You may not require any introduction to the members of ROACH SQUAD, or at least one or two of the band. Needless to say, Hugo Mudie (The Sainte Catherines), Frankie Stubbs (Leatherface), Graeme Philliskirk (Leatherface) have all graced the Paradise Gutters around the Punk Rock world for some time. Joining them is Alex Keane (The Murderburgers), along with another local Sunderland Lad, Sim Robson. As with many of the members previous works, a DIY approach to writing and recording the album was taken. The bulk of the recording took place at their own Rocket Studios in Sunderland, UK with the exception of Hugo laying down the vocals from his home in Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Some of you will have noticed the line-up contains two vocalists, and indeed this is the case. For this new Band, Frankie wanted to take some time out from vocal duties and concentrate on playing his guitar. This sees Hugo taking front stage... Not for every song, though! Who knows what you expect, but what we do ask of you before listening is that you find your comfortable spot, abandon any preconceptions, and as always play it loud.
