DJ Beeno and Paul Bradley have been mainstays of the Kniteforce roster for some time now, and it was only a matter of time before they appeared on the same EP, and this seemed like the perfect time.

DJ Beeno makes a rare traditional piano breakbeat track in the style of early Remix Records, circa 1994. Then, Paul Bradley takes the track and makes it more 1995 in style with big kicks, bigger breaks, and stabs for days.

Paul Bradley then goes back, once again, to the 1994 sound with his track, with all the energy of a freight train only stopping for the euphoric breakdowns. DJ Beeno then takes the track and flips it upside down with his signature sound, a sound that cannot be described easily but will put a fat smile on your face none the less!

Two of Kniteforce’s hottest artists have teamed up to bring an amazing, uplifting breakbeat hardcore EP that harkens back to the hay day of hardcore music.

The long awaited, latest and, quiet frankly, greatest EP from Al Storm & Diakronik smashing the lighter side of hardcore with massive vocals and ginormous pianos! These are floor fillers of epic proportions!

The Remixes series continues to shine, and attempts each time to bring remixers that have never been previously featured. This time we have one of the oldest and most original statesmen of the scene - the one and only Nookie, remixing an old skool tune in an old skool way, and it is beautiful to behold. Meanwhile Dj Beeno reworks Luna-C & Saiyans epic track, Innercore smashed an IOTB tune, and Paul Bradley reworks the classic 2 Pumpin by 2 Croozin.

This series of remixes, stretching all the way back to 1993, continues to progress and expand its base of talented and incredible old skool talent. Part 16 brings some high caliber talent to the table with both Phuture Assassins and Tim Reaper on remixes duty for the first time. Plus we have stellar work from both Mannik and Shoreman, two of Kniteforce’s finest…

Part 14 of the remixes series pulls exactly zero punches. Huge tunes with huge remixers is the name of the game. Slamming straight in with a massive remix of their seminal jungle classic, Ham & Poosie turn it up with “Thinkin About U”. A legend in his own time, Coco Bryce lays down a proper jungle techno remix of Hyper On Experience’s “D.A.T Coat”. Stu Chapman has been one of the most well regarded producers in the old skool and hardcore breaks scene for many years, and teaming up with legendary Perth Dj Rob Fender, he drops this awesome debut EP. Three tracks loaded with a deep underground sound for the proper raves from back in the day.

Dj Brisk is a legendary old skool artist who has been a force in both the hardcore and the hard house scene for decades, and remains committed to his craft in a way that many artists have not.

The Timespan returns after a 12 month rest, teaming up with both a new artist – Mr Arthur – and a new label. Or perhaps it is an old label as The Timespan was one of the original Remix Records artists back in the early 90’s. Yet the style remains, even if some of the tracks are in the 140bpm range. Deceptively simple sounding piano anthems and rave riffs, with sly hip hop loops and rolling beats. All three tracks on this EP are made entirely with hardware, yet the sound is crystal clear and the bass rolls with weight. A perfect combination of old skool and old skool.

_NRV011 welcomes Romanian craftsman Firesc for a deep, stripped and deliberate three-track journey built for long blends and late-hour tension.

“Travelling Monk” unfolds across eleven patient minutes — a rolling, meditative groove anchored by subtle low-end pressure and finely detailed percussion. The arrangement breathes, evolves and locks into a steady hypnotic stride designed for extended transitions and heads-down floors.

Cool Runnings is exactly that: a hypnotic, mid-nineties-tinged jungle cut stripped back and dubbed out, but sharpened with modern production techniques that give every snare and sub-bass a punchy, alive quality. Razor-sharp breaks collide with rolling basslines, weaving a track that’s at once nostalgic and fully of-the-moment.

The B-side flips the energy with Fracture’s remix, injecting fractured percussion, jagged fills, and high-octane bass tweaks. In 1982, the elite, core musicians (MFSB / The Salsoul Orchestra) behind the soulful Sound of Philadelphia - Earl Young (drums), Ron Baker (bass), Norman Harris (guitar), Lenny Pakula (organ), Larry Washington (percussion), Vince Montana, Jr. (vibes) - and powerhouse vocalists Joe Freeman, David Simmons, Ron Tyson and Bobby Love convened at Philadelphia’s historic Virtue Studios to record some of the genre’s most iconic hits.
