Das Debütalbum einer der renommiertesten und einflussreichsten Bands Großbritanniens, Songs to Remember, versetzt uns zurück in die Anfänge von Scritti Politti. Juju Love, one of the earliest tracks created by HIA, receives it's first release on vinyl. Side A of the EP has been given over exclusively to Juju Love, cut at 45rpm for maximum bass, fidelity and dynamic range.

Unearthed for HIA's celebrated live performance at Terraforma festival in 2022, Juju Love has become a favourite with audiences around the globe at HIA's extensive live shows in recent years.

Previously only available as a live recording on a limited promo cassette tape 'HIA Live From The Back Of Beyond' (1993) and more recently on the digital only 'Preform' release on Headphone records.

Combined with Speedlearn (Frontal Lobe) and W.H.Y on Side B, these three tracks together are taken from a particular moment in HIA's timeline.

Speedlearn (Frontal Lobe) the definitive version of this track, was released on HIA's debut 'Speedlearn EP'(1993). Inspired by an episode of the surreal 1960's cult tv series The Prisoner, in which Speedlearn - a subliminal television-based education program presented as a revolutionary fast-track method of learning - turns out to be a tool for mass thought control and indoctrination.

‘The Hunter’ was released five years after her breakthrough with ‘Famous Blue Raincoat’. A TOP 100 LP when first released in 1992, The Hunter’s audiophile credibility is best summed up by Elliot Scheiner’s Grammy-nominated recording and mix. It contains the charting single “Rock You Gently,” a sonically dense yet expansive cover of The Waterboy’s classic “The Whole of the Moon,” a soulful Jennifer Warnes/Leonard Cohen composition “Way Down Deep,” Todd Rundgren’s “Pretending to Care” and even a Donald Fagen tune (“Big Noise, New York”). She owns every tune here, backed by a-list session players who ground the songs with solid and unobtrusive authority, letting Jennifer’s peerless interpretive skills bring the soul of every lyric to the forefront. Arista (now Sony/BMG) never released The Hunter on vinyl in the U.S. A regular-weight LP floated around Europe for a while but is not noted for exceptional sound or quiet vinyl.

After his work with Miki Curtis & Samurai and just after joining the British rock band Free, Tetsu Yamauchi recorded his first solo album during a brief return to Japan in 1972.

A 2024 remaster of Band of Skulls' critically acclaimed debut album, Baby Darling Doll Face Honey. Transversales Disques proudly presents the first official LP reissue of "Deserted Palace", studio album written & performed by Jean Michel Jarre in 1972, during his work experience at G.R.M. (Groupe de Recherches Musicales).

In 1971, an order was placed with producer Francis Dreyfus to provide sound for public places such as airports and libraries. He decided to pass the project on to Jean-Michel, who had recently been signed by his record company.

These fifteen tracks are made with only two synthesizers (EMS VCS3 & Farfisa organ) in an experimental and very minimal style.

"It was a crazy album, totally homemade, with rhythms that I made in my student room, with a minimum of equipment and at the same time electronic sounds that I stole from the GRM where I went at night after stealing the keys to the studios. Over half a century after it set them on the path to superstardom, Queen’s regal second album, Queen II, has been remixed and remastered.

Arguably the heaviest Queen album, Queen II was originally released in 1974 and widely heralded as their first true masterpiece. With Brian May and Roger Taylor as executive producers, the album has been stunningly mixed by the team of Justin Shirley-Smith, Joshua J Macrae and Kris Fredriksson.

Here comes the first appearance on vinyl of Elf Bagatellen, a 1990 FMP classic from the legendary Schlippenbach Trio where the group achieved fever-dream beauty through self-imposed temporal limitations. The trio deliberately shaped the music, opting for more concise pieces rather than concert-length performances that had become standard practice. Those durational limitations clearly inspired them, bringing a jewel-like, compositional flow to many of the works, although even when the trio seems to be playing a tune in a piece like "Analogue: Scaled" the performance moves so rapidly into the next event any such notion is banished. And yet some of Schlippenbach's older themes resurface in abstracted ways, whether it's Pakistani Pomade's "Sun-Luck Night-Rain" appearing as quicksilver line in "Sun-Luck: Revisited" or Globe Unity's "The Forge" sneaking into "The Forge: Rebellowed." The concision of shorter pieces, including several solo works, arrive as a kind of fever dream in the usual context of free jazz. Schlippenbach Trio soon snapped back into its working methodology on its follow up album, Physics, in 1993, which further elevates the singularity of Elf Bagatellen. The album captured a different side of the trio and helped inform the modern classical tilt in European improvised music. Kuba Sojka (Poland) is back on Boomstraat 1818 with a remastered version of 'Rain', which was originally released on Rohs! The track deserved a vinyl release and Kuba rebuilt the track from scratch.

Stroef (Netherlands) his track 'Boxed In' was originally released on OHM Series Digital. This version is reconstructed for the vinyl release on Boomstraat 1818.

Released in 2000, Alan Braxe and Fred Falke's “Intro” is five minutes of faultlessly melancholy, perfectly elegant, dance music that nudged French House into the future.
“Intro” is now being re-released for its 25th birthday, using the remastered version of the song from the 2023 re-issue of Alan Braxe, Fred Falke & Friends - The Upper Cuts album, with Braxe and Falke also making new remixes of their golden child. Given that “Intro” was pretty much perfect the first time around, the results are astoundingly strong.
Falke’s remix takes “Intro” into new dimensions, cosmic and suspiciously dubby, a newly-recorded bass line sending the mix on its psychedelic way. Braxe’s remix is raw and dirty, a “hotel room edit” as he calls it, that nods to the history of French House as it sparkles up the spine.
Both tunes are evidence that - actually - you can remix the un-remixable, so long as it is done with infinite love and incredible skill.

Bosconi Records, the Florence-based imprint run by Fabio Della Torre, is back with something truly special. Over the years, the label has built a reputation for pushing house, funk and electro in all their shades, always keeping a strong link between the local scene and international legends. And when it comes to legends, there are few names that shine brighter than Alexander Robotnick.

The Italian electro pioneer – aka Maurizio Dami – has already collaborated with Bosconi on The Hidden Game and Italcimenti Under Construction. Now he returns with My La(te)st EP, a vinyl-only release that pulls five standout cuts from his 2007 CD My La(te)st Album and finally makes them available on wax. All tracks have been remastered for the vinyl format, enhancing their depth and dynamics to deliver the best possible experience on wax.

The EP opens with “Jette Le Masque (Extended Version)”, driven by a pumping bassline and jagged sawtooth synths, with whispered French vocals by Robotnick himself. Stretched out and more DJ-friendly than the original, this version is tailor-made for the dancefloor.
On “We Love The Music” things get fun and funky: vocoder vocals, an electro-funk bounce and that unmistakable Robotnick irony. A killer cut to start a set on the right foot.

Flip the record and you dive into the acidic depths of “I’m Getting Lost In My Brain”. Old-school Chicago vibes, a hypnotic groove and basslines that just don’t quit – a peak-time weapon that feels raw and timeless.
Then comes “A Coffee Shop in Rotterdam”, one of those secret gems: melodic, laid-back and warm, built on a slapping bass and dreamy arpeggios. It has that Riviera house touch from the ’90s, but with Robotnick’s unmistakable twist.

Closing the EP is “Addio” – a track that wears its heart on its sleeve. Romantic, emotional, and driven by a bassline that nods back to Robotnick’s all-time classic Problèmes d’Amour. A perfect goodbye track, the kind that leaves a smile on your face as the lights come on.

Coastal Commission “Bring Down the Walls” “Bring down the Walls” was a nod to Raze’s “Break for Love”, Robert Owens “Bring Down the Walls” and Ritchie Hawtin’s use of the Roland 606 throughout “Sheet One.” We gave the tune a Californian psychedelic twist with conga laden drums, a moody synth, low pulsing 303 patterns + Benjamin Zephaniahs patois call to “Move the Body Rhythmwize!” The first PCH releases had dropped Worldwide to International acclaim from DJ’s far and wide across the Globe with support in London, Paris & New York. However the local scene here in L.A that preached “Love, inclusion & Unity” was anything but that. L.A at that time was very tribal & divided up into 3 camps. If you weren’t affiliated with any of them (aka independent) then you were pretty much locked out of getting any kind of gig support or the Dj’s from those camps actually playing the music. The local feedback from Dj’s was that what we were making wasn’t “house,” but “Techno” which was absurd to me. “Bring Down the Walls” was a mantra to “move the bod”y and in doing so “bring down the walls” of separation not just in L.A but throughout society in general. Thank goodness for support from people like Terry Francis, Eddie Richards, DJ Deep & Philly Stalwart King Britt. After years of copies going for upward of $100+ on Discogs the now freshly remastered copies by At Jazz’s Martin Iveson are finally hitting the platters this Spring.

Jesse Outlaw “Let it Go” I met Jesse at Beatnonstop Records on Melrose Ave with Miguel Placencia in the late 90’s. Miguel (RIP) was a mainstay in the Underground scene and had always been very supportive of my endeavors. He had had success with a huge release on Yellow Orange and was working with Jesse under the moniker “When Worlds Collide.” I signed “Brighter Days” & “Set you Free” from them and released the tracks on my Seductive imprint. They told me that they were making the tracks on a Sony Playstation “Music Now” program and I was like FFS “What.s more Underground than that!?” Later Jesse gave me some of his solo work. The track “Let it Go” was never mastered & only ever cut to Dub-plate and featured on my 1st PCH mix “Pacific Coast House Sounds.” It has now been mastered by Martin Iveson and is available in all it’s glory. The dreamy vocal “You need to let it go” beckons over the top of driving percussive Latin beats and church organ which is a great compliment to the flip side of “Bring down the Walls.” All in all two West Coast stompers now finally available remastered on PCH in Orange vinyl.

Diese erweiterte Ausgabe kommt im Klappcover und einer Bonus-LP mit seltenem und unveröffentlichtem Material, alles frisch gemastert von JJ Golden und gepresst auf opakem gelbem Vinyl. Musikalische Transzendenz zu erreichen, ist echt schwierig. Wenn es klappt - ein großes ,wenn" -, dann passiert das ganz natürlich, und vielleicht weiß das niemand besser als Band of Horses, deren bahnbrechendes Debütalbum ,Everything All The Time" auch nach zwanzig Jahren noch genauso lebendig und, wenn man so sagen darf, transzendent wirkt wie bei seiner Veröffentlichung im Jahr 2006. Gitarrist und Sänger Ben Bridwell gründete Band of Horses 2004 in Seattle, nachdem er fast zehn Jahre lang bei Carissa's Wierd, den melancholischen Lieblingen des Nordwestens, gespielt hatte. Carissa's Wierd machten wunderschönen orchestralen Pop, dessen Songs unerschrockene Geschichten von Herzschmerz und Verlust erzählten, gewürzt mit defätistischem Humor. Mit Punkrock (1991) markierten Die Goldenen Zitronen ihren entscheidenden Wendepunkt - weg vom Fun-Punk der 80er hin zu einer politisch scharfen, stilistisch mutigen Band. Nach dem Album Fuck You (1990) suchten sie einen direkteren, ehrlicheren Sound - roh, schnell und ohne Studio-Perfektionismus. Gemeinsam mit Billy Childish, dem britischen Garagen-Guru aus Rochester/Kent, nahmen sie die Platte im Januar 1991 in nur drei Tagen auf. Keine Tricks, keine Nachbearbeitung - nur übersteuerte Pegel, Live-Energie und Haltung. Childish klebte die Anzeigen am Mischpult ab, mischte nach Gefühl und erklärte, dass jeder Mix höchstens 30 Minuten dauern dürfe. Das Ergebnis ist ein Meilenstein: ein raues, kompromissloses Album zwischen 60s-Garage, Punk und politischer Dringlichkeit. Songs wie "80 Millionen Hooligans" spiegeln die aufgewühlte Stimmung der frühen Nachwendezeit - Wiedervereinigung, Fremdenhass, Orientierungslosigkeit - und wirken heute wie ein unheilvolles Echo ihrer Zeit. Remastered from the original recordings and now presented on a 45rpm 2 LP deluxe audiophile edition, this is first time the complete 7-track album has been available on vinyl. 'In My Own Sweet Way', recorded during a month- long European tour in 1987, captures Woody Shaw in peak form playing with a spirit and a sense of adventure that identify him as a jazz giant. Woody calls the trumpet "the prince of all the horns". Woody is the king of all the trumpet players.

Nobody around plays with such a big, round, ravishing sound - a sound which could easily fool you into thinking that you are listening to a flugelhorn. Woody's musical asociates on this album are Alex Deutsch, a young drummer from Austria who has worked in Europe with many American jazz stars; Neil Swainson, a highly gifted bassist from Toronto who has worked with Pat La Barbera and Peter Leitch but is perhaps best known for his superb collaboration with George Shearing; and Fred Henke , a pianist from Montreal whose credits include backing Clifford Jordan, Steve Grossman and Junior Cook

Next year, Earthtones Recordings (which was renamed to Seasons Recordings after ten releases) marks the significant milestone of 30 years in the game. Ahead of that, they have been digging in the vaults for some choice reissues and this hugely in demand one from Natural Rhythm gets the nod. It has been remastered and is a joyous house outing with 'Original Jive' layering up cascading jazz keys with soulful pads and moving drums. 'Earthtones 001' is the beatless sound of a humid jungle, then 'Eclectic Dub' reworks the original with a more stripped-down and focused, groove-driven sound. 'Dub Drums' closes a vital reissue.

Often cited as the strongest Tribe 69db live recording, this cassette emerged from a tense and pivotal moment in the early 90s free party scene.
At the time, Techno Import was the largest electronic music shop in Paris, and arguably in France. The shop planned to release a CD compilation titled Sound Of Teknival, featuring Spiral Tribe. As the project progressed, disagreements over money, copyrights and control led Spiral Tribe to withdraw their approval.
Despite this, Shark Records, the label linked to Techno Import for the project, proceeded with the CD release without full artist consent. In response, 69db released a tape titled "Fuck Techno Import". This cassette stands as raw testimony to the clash between underground culture and commercial structures, capturing both the sound and spirit of an era when autonomy mattered more than compromise.
