A new Toy Tonics artist! Brazilian DJ, vinyl collector, party promoter, and style aficionado Martha Pinel has joined the Toy Tonics family.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, where she is a well-established DJ and a prominent figure in the lifestyle scene, Martha also resides in Berlin, where she became friends with the Toy Tonics crew.

She is the creator of Assembleia, a celebrated party in Rio de Janeiro known for its laid-back and unpretentious atmosphere. Assembleia has also become a Carnival sensation, hosting unforgettable annual editions that are now a highlight of the season. In Brazil, she is also known as the co-founder of the Croma project, where fashion and music merged to revolutionize Rio de Janeiro's alternative scene. She has been featured on the cover of GQ Brazil, which named her one of the "13 artists giving voice to the generation that is changing the world."

Martha has been DJing worldwide at festivals such as KALA Festival, Paris Fashion Week, DGTL, and Boiler Room. She has made a name for herself in the diggers scene, sharing the stage with DJs such as Hunee, Antal, Yusu, Sam Ruffillo, Prins Thomas, and many others.

Martha is passionate about discovering music daily and crafts dynamic, non-linear sets that play with the audience's emotions. Known for her bold approach, her sets are always powerful and brimming with personality. They seamlessly blend ethnic musical influences with cutting-edge productions from Brazil and beyond, incorporating African and Middle Eastern sounds, space disco, Italo disco, Balearic beats, house, and its subgenres.

Martha Pinel's debut EP, Real Rio, was born during a moment of rediscovery in her hometown, Rio de Janeiro, after spending a long time abroad. This project is a celebration of that reconnection, capturing the city's most authentic and visceral aspects-a place where beauty and chaos coexist, with dramatic highs and lows.

In the track "Uber Moto," Martha reflects on the urban phenomenon of app-based motorcycles, which have become a symbol of the city.

"Espírito de Estado," on the other hand, is a track that embodies the spirit of the Carioca Carnival, the greatest party in the world.

Finally, "Assim" offers a personal reinterpretation of Marcos Valle's classic Estrelar. In this track, Martha and Gabto leave their mark on this Brazilian music icon, reflecting on the concept of Body Culture-it's often said that it's impossible to walk along Ipanema Beach without noticing the Carioca cult of the body.

THEMBA’s remix builds on that foundation and takes it into expansive, Afro-infused club territory, layering hypnotic percussion, deep rolling grooves, and subtle atmospheric shifts that heighten the emotion and push the track into new late-night spaces. Closing out the release, Spanish duo Mëstiza return to reinterpret their collaboration with the Crosstown head honcho, ‘La Hija De Juan Simón’. Expanding on the track’s flamenco-inspired roots, they layer hand-played percussion, haunting vocal flourishes, and dense atmospheres into a hypnotic, slow-burning groove, bridging folklore and futurism in their unmistakable style.

One of the most expansive instrumental Hip Hop series to date, MF DOOM’s lauded Special Herbs collection assembles a mountainous collection of his beats, ranging from series exclusives to slightly reworked favorites he produced for himself and others. Released under the alias Metal Fingers, Special Herbs succeeds at capturing DOOM’s highly influential sound which continually breaks and reinterprets the rules of the game in favor of The Super-Villain. Greatest Heads is the fourth album by the radical Basque- Berlinesque group Al Karpenter. A deconstruction of structured “rock” music, here Al Karpenter re-imagine “the band” to explore the intersection between Free music, afro-beat, the avant garde and gonzo rock.
If Theodore Adorno wrote “To Write Poetry after Auschwitz is Barbaric” in 1949, Al Karpenter attempts to answer the difficult question today; what kind of music can be done in the face of a genocide? Álvaro Matilla, Marta Sainz, Enrique Zaccagnini & Mattin’s response to the planet’s slipping into a vortex of hate is to create a music ecstatic, a music of protest bursting with multiple musical languages and glossaries, full of overlapping histories and thrilling tensions.
Greatest Heads posits a plurality of musics both in opposition and intertwined: Al Karpenter play rock instruments pulled apart in the studio in post-production. Distorted rhythm chunks bit-crushed and dissipated, segments of freedom oppressed by waves of sound invading from every direction. The interplay between the chief instrumentalists and renowned, storied sound artist Mattin creates something akin to ESP freedom-seekers Cro Magnon playing in Miles Davis’ early 70s groups, The Los Angeles Free Music Society tightening up into a clenched fist of plunderphonics and runaway percussion.
We Are All Karpenters opens Greatest Heads with the most straight-forward song refrain of the record accompanied by a band that soon crash into eruption, imagining Sun City Girls in full free rock mode.
The modulating synth sound soon sucks the band into its wake to create a spine-chilling climax of distorted sound, made fully orgasmic with mastering engineer Rashad Becker’s attention to detail. On Izugarrizko Buruak (Greatest Heads), Matilla intones in Basque over a mangled distorto-beat. A Brand New Astraphobia creates a black space for a heavily processed guitar to blow up before falling to earth at night, a gentle figure serenading the coming end.
On Side B, the band begins by being masticated by a brutal phaser, squelching and stretching the music into new territories. The overt message of Stop The Genocide! is besieged by violence before Worm City aggressively samples the ghosts of soul music, mixing in noise bursts, prepared piano and swiping, abstracted sound. Epic closer Perfect Love feels like a beat poetry performance on a burnt world, still grasping for community, for home, for some sort of human love. A Mad love, then; an angry love fuelled by solidarity and collaboration.

Wah Wah 45s present two very special cover versions from our beloved Afro-electronic duo, Raz & Afla, available on 12" vinyl for the very first time! Having recently released their sophomore LP, Echoes Of Resistance, to great acclaim and support ranging from Nick Grimshaw on BBC 6 Music to Tash LC on BBC Radio 1, and the follow up remix project Remixes Of Resistance, the pair offer up their unique takes on two very different slices of club culture on twelve inches of wax.

First up, the pair tackle Aphex Twin's sleazy and sinister turn-of-the-century dance floor bomb Windowlicker and take it somewhere completely unexpected, as Raz explains:

"We wanted to go to a different place from our influences for this one. When we told people we will cover this tune everyone said 'but how?!' In Raz & Afla style. We had an idea of what elements to recreate from the original and how we can reference it within our spectrum of sounds. It was so much fun to do and really kicks off at our live shows."

It's a heavily percussive reinterpretation, replete with spooky wordless vocals, funky guitars and spine tingling synths that builds into something of a future Afro-house anthem, whilst respecting the genius of the original recording.

On the flip, Going Back To My Roots has become a mainstay in Raz & Afla's live sets, and means a lot to them personally, as Raz once again explains:

"We love this song. The lyrics resonate with us, talking about the meaning of connection to a land and its people. The history of this song is also fascinating, from Hugh Masekela and Orlando Julius through Odyssey and Richie Havens. We wanted to give it our own flavour. You can't choose your heritage and where you are born. It is always a part of you and we like to celebrate that."

Written and first recorded by Lamont Dozier in 1977, Going Back To My Roots was famously covered by Richie Havens in 1980 before becoming a huge crossover hit when interpreted by disco outfit Odyssey in 1981. Raz & Afla very much give their version their own unique dance floor feeling. It's one which has received much support on BBC 6 Music.

Mark "Shaboom" Bell's classic Mecca Funk album is best known for its standout cut 'Woman Cry' and it is that fan-fav which gets pressed up here with three fresh reworkings. The classic cut famously opens Andrew Weatherall's iconic Heavenly Social DJ mix and is ripe and ready for these bold reinterpretations from Ricardo Villalobos, DJ Sneak, and Spatial Awareness. Villalobos transforms the 1999 original into a deep, hypnotic journey full of his signature minimal textures, while Sneak delivers a bass-heavy, dub-soaked house bomb made for peak-time floors. Rounding things out, Spatial Awareness offers a respectful yet electrified remix imbued with some fresh sonic flair.

Ruben Rada played a pivotal role in the development of Uruguayan music. By blending Afro-Uruguayan traditions with rock, soul, jazz, and funk, he paved a new musical path that began in the 1960s and continues to evolve today. Throughout his career, he has consistently been surrounded by talented musicians who have been integral to his sound. This was especially true with Daniel "Lobito" Lagarde, bassist and founding member of the iconic band Totem in the early 1970s; Ricardo Nolé, keyboardist, arranger, and musical director of Rada's band in Argentina during the 1980s; and Nelson Cedréz, the drummer who has been by Rada's side since the 1990s. In 2016, these three musicians reunited to form Rada's Old Boys, releasing an album of jazz-infused reinterpretations of Rada's songs that earned rave reviews. Now, they return with Manos, a bold new album that reimagines Rada's works from every phase of his career, featuring deeply personal renditions and a special guest appearance from Rada himself on one track.

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of iconic Dutch jazz label Timeless Records, Music On Vinyl is releasing a series that features albums that are part of the Timeless Records legacy and will be released mainly throughout 2022.

Part of this series is Pharoah Sanders’ Moon Child from 1990, which bookended a decade of musical soul searching for Sanders. The acclaimed free jazz player is known to have a raw and abrasive sound, but reinvented himself on this album as a more traditional improviser capable of thoughtful deliberations. Moon Child is a grand old time throughout, and Sanders has never been more eminently sing-along-able as he is on its title track. The record was co-written with Horace Silver, George Gershwin and Abdullah Ibrahim and recorded with William Henderson, Stafford James, Eddie Moore and Cheikh Tidiane Fal

Stücke wie ,A Fish Called Wanda" und ,Departed Bird" entstanden in solchen Momenten, geprägt von Intuition und sanften Einwürfen alltäglicher Wunder. Zuggeräusche von den nahegelegenen Gleisen driften in die Aufnahmen hinein und wieder heraus und fügen dem luftigen, intimen Sound Textur und Lokalität hinzu. Musikalisch schwebt Wao zwischen dem zarten, experimentellen Folk-Pop von Tenniscoats und der charakteristischen Wärme und melodischen Klarheit von Shabason und Krgovich. Es gibt ein sanftes Gefühl der Überraschung, das sich durch das Album zieht - Ideen, die von Hand zu Hand gereicht werden, Gesang, der wie ein Geschenk dargeboten wird, jeder Track kommt ohne Gewalt an. Released exclusively in Germany in March 1966, "Black Monk Time" by The Monks has become a cult classic -praised as a groundbreaking forerunner to punk and krautrock. Though the album was overlooked at the time, its bold sound and sharp lyrics have earned it lasting influence and critical acclaim. The Monks were five American G.I.s stationed near Heidelberg, West Germany. Originally performing as a typical beat group under the name the 5 Torquays, they evolved into something far more radical. After discovering guitar feedback by accident and embracing a raw, percussive approach, they caught the attention of two German ad men-Walther Niemann and Karl Remy-who became their managers and helped reinvent their identity. Dressed in monks' robes with tonsured hair and noose neckties, the band developed a confrontational, rhythm heavy sound. Nowhere is this clearer than in the album's opening track, 'Monk Time,' which captures their entire aesthetic in under three minutes. A pounding, repetitive groove of bass and drums anchors the track, layered with distorted guitar bursts, percussive electric banjo, chaotic organ stabs, and unrestrained, shouted vocals. It's a declaration of intent-urgent, jarring, and unforgettable. Their sole studio album, produced by Jimmy Bowien and recorded in Cologne in late 1965, defied musical norms. From the explosive opener 'Monk Time' to the fierce 'Complication,' "Black Monk Time" rejected flower power for something more urgent-anger, humor, and innovation. At the time, Polydor Records deemed the music too radical for American audiences, delaying its U.S. release. Despite its initial commercial failure, the album is now seen as a pivotal moment in rock history-loud, strange, and unapologetically ahead of its time. The Monks' story is as unlikely as their sound: five ex-soldiers and two ad executives creating one of the most daring records of the '60s. The band never sparked the revolution they hinted at, but decades later, "Black Monk Time" still resonates. This is your chance to experience the album that dared to be different - don't miss it. Reissue of Philemon Arthur and the Dung's debut album, originally released in 1972. Comes with a bonus 12" where Philemon Arthur play a Bob Hund track, and Bob Hund play Philemon Arthur. Two still anonymous youngsters from Skåne, in the far south of Sweden are making music that divide music Sweden in two halves with their bold vocals, experimental lyrics and fantastic songs. Either you love them or the opposite. Clearly there are influences from early rock bands as Velvet Underground and Rolling Stones and others. But they make something completely of their own out of it with accordion, guitar, biscuit jars, granny's radiator and some other stuff. 1972 they were awarded a Swedish Grammis. Of course there was no one to receive it. The Grammy awards were shut down for 15 years after that.

Torn traverses the charnel realms of the grey area on his debut EP for DNO, ‘Taiga’. Steely beats and stony bass coalesce into chimeric rhythms across four enthralling constructions; techno and drum & bass seeping into each other like liquids in a solution, changing the very nature of both.

Opening with a solemn march shrouded in swathes of noise and jitter that blur the soundscape like the death throes of some unlucky video game character, ‘Wreak Havoc’ is an incessant builder. When it finally lets loose the chaos promised by its title, reinforced breakbeats rain down like great factory apparatus hammering out metal plates.

‘Whalebone’ is of a similarly industrial bent. Like a head full of rotor blades, it ripples with densely packed polyrhythms that rattle and whirr, new layers emerging from the churn to grab the consciousness before sinking back into the melee.

‘Taiga’, meanwhile, channelling the cold, ancient immensity of its boreal forest namesake, progresses at a plant-like pace — unhurried and purposeful. It's droning low-end seems to mask secrets, while a canopy of tangled percussion cuts angular shapes through the shadowy undergrowth.

And on ‘Stay’, the complex drumwork vibrates so rapidly around the track’s irradiated pads as to almost merge with them completely, rhythm and ambience becoming a singular hypnotic form.

Imagine a hippie a homeboy and a funky dread, hugging and dancing and telling their mates how much they love each other in a nice green field while this plays.

B1 HONDA WANDERER
A man in a blue honda civic is traveling through a misty world at a high velocity. Seeking that which is just hiding behind the next bend. I made this after a beautiful misty, raining/sunshine rainbow ride on the autobahn. I had just picked up a cheap mutron bi-phase which was sitting beside me in the passenger seat. It was amazing.

B2 MISTY VALLEY
It's time to get a little bit serious, this one feels like the place where i made all of this music, the village of Ruigoord, covered in a thick winter fog. The remnants of a possible previous reincarnation of myself as an 80s new-beat producer are haunting this music.

synonymous with high-quality house music that always moves the crowd. Boogie Vice, hailing from Paris, burst onto the scene
with chart-topping nu-disco releases like 'Bel-Air' and 'Bad Girl', later gracing labels such as Ed Banger, Cuff, and Outcross
Records. With his unmistakable blend of funk, house, and flair, he continues to push boundaries while connecting with a global
audience.

Evolving from my earlier sample-based works, the Nothingburger EP is a pair of emotionally and
sonically dense songs, where layer upon layer of live instrumentation build a heartsick wall of
sound. Called in friends from NYC to reinterpret the tracks, ambient dub group Purelink and
shoegaze kings Hotline TNT.

Cleaning Out The Empty Administration Building ist Ross Farrars neuestes Werk aus rohem, gesprochenem Wort und experimentellem Sounddesign, hier präsentiert unter dem Namen R.J.F.. Der Frontmann der amerikanischen Bands Ceremony und SPICE begann dieses Soloprojekt zunächst als persönliche Herausforderung: Songs von Grund auf selbst zu schreiben, sich mit Instrumenten vertraut zu machen und dabei zugleich sein Unterbewusstsein freizulegen. Dabei ging es weniger um musikalische Virtuosität als um Verletzlichkeit - darum, etwas Ehrliches aus einem ungeschützten, unbearbeiteten, unpolierten Moment zu ziehen, kompromisslos amateurhaft und rein.Diese Sammlung zeigt Farrar im offenen, poetischen Dialog: mit Drumloops und gefundenen Klängen, durchbrochen von Gitarren, Bass und Tasteninstrumenten. Nach über zwanzig Jahren in der vertrauten wie chaotischen Welt von Band-Kollaborationen, legt Farrar all das ab - als Experiment. Das Ergebnis ist unverwechselbar und bewegend.Farrars Punk-Pathos ist in Spuren vorhanden, doch seine deutlichsten Einflüsse stammen von repetitiven Musikformen: Drone, No-Wave, Avant-Jazz und darüber hinaus. Es ist das strukturierteste Stück der Sammlung und erinnert daran, dass Farrar ein Gespür für melodische Linien besitzt.Das Album endet mit ,Traveling Light From Afar", deutlich schneller als alle vorherigen Songs. Buh Records presents "El tiempo quiere cantar" ("Time Wants to Sing") the debut album by Pacha Wakay Munan, a duo formed by Peruvian musicians and researchers Dimitri Manga Chávez and Ricardo López Alcas. This album explores the sonic possibilities of pre-Hispanic instruments in a contemporary musical context. Through their performance, they explore their tonal possibilities, the interaction between their frequencies, and their ability to generate new dialogues. The work of Pacha Wakay Munan aligns with the tradition of sound explorers such as the Peruvians Arturo Ruiz del Pozo and Luis David Aguilar or the Colombians Yaki Kandru. The album's repertoire consists of pieces that explore diverse sonorities and musical concepts. "Pacha Wakay Munanqa" introduces the timbral variety of the instruments used. "El Taki Onkoy" draws inspiration from historical accounts and the meaning of its name ("Sick Song"), based on a Culina chant documented by Rodolfo Holzmann. It features vocals by the experienced singer Ximena Menéndez. "Mundo Posible" is a reinterpretation of an improvisation session with musicologist Chalena Vásquez Rodríguez, where the piano dialogues with ceramic antaras. Other pieces delve into the sonic construction of these instruments in relation to their cultural contexts. "Machu Tara" explores the concept of tara, a rough and vibrant sound quality found in certain Andean musical traditions. "Túpac Huaca" references the Huaca Aliaga in Lima, creating a sound palette where pututos, whistling vessels, and quenas converge. "Agua, Cuarzo y Viento" introduces quartz sikus and bowls tuned to different frequencies, evoking the interaction between natural elements and resonant vibrations. In the piece "Qinray Tema", Camilo Angeles plays the metal transverse flute, creating a contrast with the pre-Hispanic ceramic flutes and pelican bone flutes.

Cheo y Los Consentidos de la Casa is a dynamic, funk-infused Latin music project led by Cheo Pardo (of Los Amigos Invisibles). Serving as the house band for a bi-weekly dance night at NYC's Nublu, the group blends salsa, boogaloo, cha-cha-cha, and bolero with psychedelic effects and deep grooves. Their debut live album captures this high-energy fusion, reimagining Latin classics with a modern, electrifying twist that honors tradition while pushing boundaries. Born from a love of vintage Latin soul and the raw energy of NYC's dance floors, Cheo assembled an all-star crew of the city's hottest Latin players to cook up a high-octane blend of salsa, boogaloo, cha-cha-cha, and bolero - all filtered through wah-wah pedals, space echoes, fuzzy guitar solos, and a deep, unshakable groove. Mutant is proud to present Academy Award®-winning composer Michael Giacchino’s latest installment of his Exotic Themes for the Silver Screen series - Featuring more iconic scores from Giacchino’s career that have been exclusively rearranged and re-recorded for this series in the retro lounge style of the 1950s.

Volume 2 spans the period of 2012 to 2022 and features not only his work with Marvel Studios (including their iconic Marvel Studios Fanfare, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and more!) but also more career defining music for Disney • Pixar (Inside Out, Coco and Lightyear) as well as smaller, cult classics like John Carter, and Tomorrowland, more personal films such as Jojo Rabbit and The Book of Henry. He has taken these iconic themes and transformed them into soothing, beautiful 60’s lounge-inspired reworks.

Other highlights include ‘The Batman Suite’, taken from Matt Reeves' 2022 blockbuster The Batman, ‘Jyn Erso’s Theme’ from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, as well as themes for War For The Planet Of The Apes, Jurassic World and two selections taken from his directorial debut Werewolf By Night

We're thrilled to welcome Marco Bailey to the label, a name deeply woven into the fabric of techno for decades. His latest work, the "Hollow Cry EP," is a six-track statement reflecting both his legacy and continued evolution as an artist.

Across four original tracks, Marco channels the tension, urgency, and emotional gravity that have defined his sound over the years. From gritty low-end power to cinematic builds and hypnotic repetition, these tracks are built with intent - to move bodies, challenge minds, and hold the floor in their grip.

The journey doesn't end there. We've brought in two key remixers to reinterpret Bailey's vision through their own lenses: The Advent, an undisputed cornerstone of the genre, delivers a groove-laced rework that's equal parts punch and finesse - a masterclass from a true pioneer; and Kaiser, one of the most distinctive voices in today's generation of techno artists, strips things down and dials up the pressure with a deep, percussive take that hits with precision.

Delving into the Great American Songbook of Howe Gelb, Sandworms is a new collection that rephrases and rephases the legacy of Giant Sand acrossgenerations. This release offers bold reinterpretations from Water From Your Eyes, Deradoorian, Jesca Hoop & John Parish, Lily Konigsberg, Holiday Ghosts, Ella Raphael, Monde UFO, The Golden Dregs, and Gently Tender. The ever-present Giant Sand and their one-man cerebral traveller, Howe Gelb, are anchored by a reputation for idiosyncratic storytelling. A "natural storyteller," Gelb's multifarious musical delivery adds an enduring sense of wonder as he extols the virtues of happenstance. This collection celebrates the esoteric and singular journey Giant Sand have taken, through alt-country, jazz, lo-fi experiments, and beyond, while their legacy is reimagined here by a new generation of artists paying tribute to their lasting influence. Brooklyn duo Water From Your Eyes, known for their stoner humour, fatalistic undercurrents, and art-pop flair, bring a delicate balance of punk riffing and dream-pop escapism to Warm Storm, first heard on Giant Sand's Ramp (1991). Whitney K takes on Happenstance (from 1994's Glum), unravelling its existential puzzles with a whispering baritone that recalls the hushed intensity of Leonard Cohen. Drifting further into orbit, Angel Deradoorian reinterprets Center Of The Universe, the title track from the band's 1992 album, transforming its desert-fried rock into a spaced-out Sun Ra-paced drama. Elsewhere, Yer Ropes, a jaw-dropping highlight from Glum, is taken on by The Golden Dregs, blurring sentimentality and relationship mismanagement into something truly strange and moving. A special collection for both long-time fans and the newly curious, Sandworms: The Songs of Howe Gelb and Giant Sand is released via Fire Records and includes liner notes from Dave Henderson (Mojo).

PEACOCK DREAMS


After the resounding success of his project Le Cri du Caire, whose eponymous album was awarded a Victoire du Jazz in the “World Music Album” category, Abdullah Miniawy returns with ‘Peacock Dreams’, the first opus of his new trio formation released on the label PPL Songs Aghani Al-Khalq.


Accompanied by trombonists Robinson Khoury (2024 Django Reinhardt Prize from the Academy of Jazz) and Jules Boittin, Abdullah Miniawy presents an unconventional combination of three tenor instruments. The lyrical depth of the voice of the Egyptian poet, singer, and composer merges with the bold expressive capabilities of the two trombones, allowing him to explore unprecedented sound ranges that connect Western and Eastern musical traditions.


The Trio performs Abdullah Miniawy's latest musical compositions, as well as adapts former work stemming from the Egyptian revolution and his previous formation Le Cri du Caire, while highlighting collaborations by inviting trumpeter Erik Truffaz, flamenco singer Niño de Elche, and danish-indian producer Hvad on some tracks.


‘Peacock Dreams’ engages the audience in a unique musical experience that freely combines baroque and operatic influences, Sufi and Coptic themes, and musical motifs from the Arabian Peninsula, infused with the jazzy cacophony of Egyptian traffic jams, once more revealing the transcendental and communional power of Abdullah Miniawy's music.

A peacock dreams of being a poet. It concentrates, trying to shed its colors, turning its feathers into a gradient of flesh. On the other hand, a poet longs for the peacock’s colors—a galactic blend of earth, forest, sea, and sky, seen from a high vantage point.


A poet can close their eyes and absorb the knowledge of the finite, and absorb the knowledge of the finite, yet miss much, trapped in monotone concentration, eyebrows plucked down to 111.


The peacock, dipping in the ink drops from the poet's pen, sails through a tube into the poet's body. A fluttering storm erupts, reversing the roles: the peacock finds itself under an arrest warrant, while the poet, reducing his expression to a roaring "Wak-wak," struggles to describe the world.

French electronic producer heylucas (formerly Luca) steps into a new era with his highly anticipated debut album, "hey".



Following a series of acclaimed singles throughout 2024 and 2025, "hey" marks a turning point in his artistic journey. After his first live performance in late 2024 met with enthusiasm, it became clear, Luca was no longer just a bedroom producer but a true performer. A shift that inspired the name change from Luca to heylucas, embracing a broader vision for his music. This career change is all the more significant now that he has just announced his very first solo live show at POPUP! in Paris on 24 May.


"hey" is a deeply personal recollection of emotions: the highs and the lows, the joy of loved ones, the grief of loss, and the thrill of firsts. From euphoric moments to introspective instants, the album showcase the diverse experience of the artist during this transformative year. Singles like "do the things that bring joy" "either it goes well, or it passes" and "keep dancing" are the perfect example, shaping his signature sound: heartfelt, uplifting tracks that make you want to move and reflect at the same time.


“Do It All Again” in collaboration with Swedish duo HNE, features spoken vocal snippets collected from real-life encounters in the final months of the album’s creation, blend with an energetic/euphoric production.


The album release will be doubled by the release of an exclusive live session by heylucas in which he will reinterpret classics from his repertoire as well as new tracks from his “hey” album.

The third volume of the AfroColombia Remix series merges African and Colombian sounds with contemporary electronica. It's a collaboration between Colombian labels Galletas Calientes and Palenque Records that celebrates Palenque's 20+ years of activism and Galletas Calientes' two-decade legacy while honouring the late Abelardo Carbono with a remix of his track 'La PiNa Madura' by Voilaaa - it's a standout here with hints of funk, soul and disco all bringing the sunshine. The compilation also reinterprets Nigerian Igbo Highlife and Ekobe music thanks to producers Captain Planet, Uproot Andy and Caribombo. They bring new, funky energy to timeless classics while preserving the original cultural essence.

Ahead of a full-length album coming on Glitterbox Recordings, the king of disco re-edits Dr Packer presents the second instalment of this 12' series. 'Different Strokes Part 2' features four Dr Packer versions of soulful house favourites, giving a flavour of what's to come from the LP. Kicking off with a bonafide classic, Dr Packer's take on Soulsearcher's 'Can't Get Enough!' maintains all its most iconic elements, the euphoric vocals and timeless groove given a fresh-sounding elasticity. Next up is Dr Packer's remix of The Shapeshifter's evergreen 'Lola's Theme Recut' appearing for the first time on vinyl. An exclusive to this vinyl release, a remix of Johnny Corporate's 'Sunday Shoutin'' picks up the pace with a funking bassline to suit any dynamic disco set. Rounding off this foursome of impeccable remixes is Cleptomaniacs featuring Bryan Chambers 'All I Do', a vocal house classic from the early noughties, reinterpreted masterfully for today's Glitterbox dancefloor,r which was originally featured on the label's A Disco Hï compilation. Dr Packer has done it again, breathing new life into your most beloved dance records so you can fall in love with them all over again.

AZURE EMOTE laden mit ihrem vierten Album zu einer "Tour de Force" durch die äußeren stellaren Gefilde des Death Metal ein, wo die musikalischen Möglichkeiten gegen die Unendlichkeit konvergieren und sich in alle Richtungen und Dimensionen auszudehnen scheinen, bis die Gravitation ihres ultraschweren Sounds alles in den Schlund eines zermalmenden Ereignishorizonts zieht. Jeder Track auf "Cryptic Aura" ist in seiner eigenen abstrakten Verrücktheit einzigartig, aber sie sind dennoch allesamt durch eine Verschmelzung von verstörenden Atmosphären, rastloser Unruhe und trotziger Kreativität miteinander verbunden. AZURE EMOTE wurden im Jahr 2003 von Sänger und Keyboarder Mike Hrubovcak mit Unterstützung seines langjährigen Freundes, den Gitarristen Ryan Moll (TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION), in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania gegründet. Let There Be Cello finds 2CELLOS exploring a diverse catalogue with their signature boundary- breaking playing style. Co-produced by Šulić and Hauser themselves as well as Filip Vidovic, Let There Be Cello is a showcase of their exceptional talent for reinventing the music of any genre. The collection includes their take on Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” and “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi, a fan-favorite rendition that has garnered over 39 million views on 2CELLOS’ YouTube alone. Known for bringing their explosive playing style to some of rock’s biggest anthems, they make
no exception on this album, which features favorites “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor and The White Stripes’ iconic “Seven Nation Army,”. Taking their classical instrumentation to new heights, 2CELLOS rounded the album with everything from celebrated classics (“Imagine” by John Lennon, “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen) to never- before-heard original compositions (“Concept2,” “Cadenza”) for a listening experience unlike any other.
